"WHAT?!?!" He paniced.
It was all a flash and it was over.
"Whoa, I'm alive...and hungry..." Ed walked into the kitchen/
"Did it work?"

"Owwww... Lia, you could've been a bit more... Hey... I'm..."
"Awake. Told you so."
Lia smiled proudly and looked towards Alhponse. Well... More like at the knife behind him. It was such a beautiful one... crying And she wasted it, totally.
"Well, I'm with Endless Pit of Hunger over there. I'm hungry..."
Anna came to say something and sat up in a jolt before realising that even though she was awake, it still hurt. Her entire body, that is. Well... It's better than having no body at all, Anna thought.
"Al... I have to ask you... You know, I could hear you though I was... 'Sleeping'... And I'm not too sure as the truth in the words I heard..."
Just by her crimson red face.. Well, anyone should've known what she was talking about...

He nervously looked at her. "Y-you...you heard what was going on?" His face turned bright red as he took a few steps back. "Oh man, oh man, oh man..." He started to mutter to himself.
Meanwhile...
"You're name's Lia, right? Bet i could eat more food then you!" Ed piull out tons of food from the refridgerator.

"Oh, you did not just challenge me...? Look, BOY, I've just passed almost a week in the desert eating only roasted beetles and bugs. You REALLY think you can eat more than me?"
Lia sighed and shook her head; This guy was nuts. Even morethan Anna! he'd blow up before she'd even be able to say she was more or less satisfied!!
"Uh, y~eah... But... Is it true? I mean, what you said... Or what Ed said, or whatever!"
Anna blushed even more and leaned against the wall and turned her head away. Eye contact was the last thing she needed. Along with questions. Definately not questions.

Al sqeezed his eyes shut and his head moved up and down accidentally. He wanted to tell her how he felt but he was nervous of what her answer was.
"Oh really? I eat like a glutton (big word for Ed) all the time and with whats been going on, I havent eatten in two days so I'm pretty damn hungry." Ed smirked as he picked up a piece of chicken and held it under his nose and moved it side to side.

"You speak too much. I've already emptied half the stuff here, you pest."
Lia pointed at the half empty table; So, the Belrith were very silent and discrete eaters... They had to be; In the desert, when ambushed, they had to eat silently.
"Uh... So that means you... Hm..."
Anna, though through a paintaking one, went through the process of sitting on the side of her bed. Sure, it hurt like hell times ten, but who cares?
After that, she stood up, and, in a blurr of motion, litterally threw herself in Al's arms.
"Thanks for saving me..." she whispered.

The stunned Al stood for a few seconds, motionless, then gently placed his arms around her gently and whispered quietly. "Your welcome."
Ed started scarfing down food like a madman who had been deprived of food for weeks, maybe months and Ed knew he could keep this pace for a good while before he would stop for a few minutes then scarf again.

Lia was a possessive woman. What she ate belonged to HER.The old claw mark scars on Anna's arms were proof enough. So... Lia Grabbed as many plates as she could, keeping them away from Ed. She was just eating and eating... And didn't gain an inch! She was just eating. See, a fat woman who barely eats would be SO ticked off, right now...
Anna smiled and craddled her head in Al's neck, before freezing in place and realising something.
"Uuuuum... There's a slight problem here. I can't move anymore. And I'm gonna slip in three, two..."

He held her tihtly in his arms being careful not to harm her. "Are you still going to fall?" He smiled.
Ed was a monster when it came to overeatting. He once got food poisoning from eatting too much. He just kept eatting and eatting and corraled plates around him to make it easier for him to get access to them.

"MINE!!!!"
"Looks like they're having a food challenge..."
Anna chuckled slightly and shook her head in response. This way, she sure wasn't going to fall... But then again... It would be fun to slip and fall, see what the others would do. Naw... She wasn't THAT manipulative.

Ed scrambled at the plate and snatched it in the knick of time. He stuck out ihs tongue as he began to devour the food as if it were edible gold.

Extending her arm, Lia muttered a word under a hollow breath and grinned deviously as the piece of food tore in two.
"First equal, always equal with me."
Lia pulled her tongue and grined before guldping down the food and sighing. That sure hit the spot... Yep.

Ed glared at her angrilly. "Cheater..." He muttered it quietly half hoping that she would hear it.
Al had helped Anna back onto the bed since she was safer there than with him holding her. When he held her, he was shaking wildly since he was as nervous as a mouse in a home full of cats.

Anna smiled gently and rolled to the side, falling softly on the bed. Oh, sure, it hurt like hell times one hundred, but she wouldn't complain... The thread of reality she held on to was more important than all the pain in the world.
"By the way... You would happen to have a shirt warmer than this, would you?"
"Cheating? No. I call it resourcefulness."
Lia grinned and got up, pushing back her chair, and cleaned the table and rid it of it's hundred plates.
After having done the dishes, which took about ten minutes, she sighed and leaned on the counter.
"and they call me cray; They obviously haven't seen you."

"What's that supposed to mean?" Ed glared at her intensely and grunted. "I'm nowhere near the word 'crazy' compared to you." He leaned back on his chair so the front legs werem't anywhere near the floor.
