"Shut up, Iamel. It's Yashima's easter too. Deal with it."
"We aren't Christian! We think Jesus is a Zombie! Shiniee--"
"Don't make me eat your face, Iamel. I will. ******** GOD help me, I will rip your face off your skull and eat it."
That made all the kids around Patrick pause. The dark man didn't notice, sliding into the garden and setting the little fox-kit down. Yashima, not bothering to try and understand the arguing around him, stood wobbly to his feet, squealing at the feel of grass between his toes.
"Kay! Kaaaaaay!" He didn't know if she was there or not, but he wanted to. If she was there - he would find out! He would know... After screeching her name out. "Kaaaaaay!"
"Shiniee, make him shut--"
"I'm two seconds from eating your goddamn face, Iamel. Take Akilah and Akuti to go look for eggs."
The woodpecker pouted, tugging at his little bunny ears he wore atop his head, and grabbed up the chittering, giggling meerkat. "C'mon, Akuti." Grumpy to high hell, Iamel tromped off in search for eggs.

Ianna gave a wave to the woman, "Well hello there!" she called, taking Coailiann from Malen's arms and moving with her towards Taylor. Not only did she notice the woman - she noticed that Patrick had come and brought his brood.
Or some of it. Poor Mordread must have been left alone with the others.
"Patrick, love, how're you 'n' the little one eh?" she set down Coailiann beside Yashi in a quick sweep. Apparently she was more graceful today than usual.
And she had an unusual healthy pink glow to her skin.
Coailiann toddled close to Yashi, giving him a tight hug, "Shii!" she giggled and bounced a little on her heels before falling flat on her rear. The bunny ears she had gotten wet in the fountain flopping over and hiding her green eyes, much to her annoyance.
Sopping wet things.

Ariel sipped some ice tea while watching the run around at the event. It was interesting enough, and she even took out her journal to contemplate a few things durring it, but for the most part she waited until the hunting would start up.
Despite how much it irked her humane self, that searching for eggs would take away from the children, who where only children once, she still wanted to look. However she tried to content herself with her notebook, her tea, and her egg.

Luckily for Iamel, he spotted Savius. Akilah was pushed at a startled horse girl (who was getting gnawed on) as the woodpecker zoomed his way towards teh Kestrel. He bounced on his heels enthusiastically, beaming a bit. "HeySavius!"
And - and Diacyn too! YAY! "And Diacyn is somewhere! I think? Is he?"
Akilah wriggled himself down from his sisters grasp and started toddling around the place, squeaking and laughing a little bit, glancing around as he looked for eggs. He saw other kids had them and, damnit! he wanted one!
"Hey, Ianna... What're you up to?" One eyebrow rose, twisting around to face her with a tired grin. Yashi was kept an eye on, slightly, but Patrick was off in his own little world. "And you look...happy?"
"Kay!" It's all he could really say, tail swishing as his shaky legs started to shake even more. Rrr!

Iamel found an egg! Inside was 1000g!
Ianna beamed, "Yeah, It's nice having everyone here. And Malen's actually going to let me cook on the grill. Which is a miracle, since he fears for his life when I cook..."
Coailiann pushed one floppy ear from her face and gazed at her friend with adoring green eyes, "Find egg?" she asked. She wanted to find more shinies, even though Malen said she couldn't.
She WOULD if she wanted to.

Amparo grinned at the guardians, and turned to watch Antonio, who was still determined to find a bloody egg, damnit.
Antonio continued crawling around, sure he looked like a damn sight crawling around in an expensive pair of pants and an equally dressy shirt, looking for an egg. If anything, Abrihet deserved an egg. Hell, in his eyes, his baby sister could have the whole damn world.
And he'd give it to her, too. Antonio was beginning to feel the first feelings of admiration, and the baby wasn't even there yet. Pushing those thoughts out of his head, Antonio continued to look calmly, eyes narrowed as he scanned every bit of grass around him for an egg.

Antonio may not have found an egg yet, but by gollie, he was going to! Antonio continued crawling about calmly, humming and counting to ten so he wouldn't get irritated. It was an egg. Just a silly old egg. Nothing really bad about a silly old egg. Of course... If he didn't find one soon, he was going to eat, and THEN find an egg.
Because eating would give him more luck. Naturally, this was how the young man's mind worked. He hummed as he crawled towards a bush, and flattened himself to the grass, peering under and inside the bush. "Oh eegggiieee... Wherefore art thouuu..."
Amparo watched Antonio with an amused look. "Are you quoting Shakespeare at the non-existant eggs, Antonio?"
"Do not mock me, woman!" Antonio glared over at her, before looking back under the bush.

"Ha!" Antonio pulled himself out of the bush, getting stuck on the way and cursing loudly, and held the egg up triumphantly. "So now what!"
"Now come and eat."
".... In a minute." Antonio got up and went to the table, putting the egg safely in his jacket's interior pocket. He grabbed a sandwich and put it in his mouth with a grin, then went off again, searching for eggs.
Antonio was exhilerated. Now... Now it was going to be easier. Except it probably wasn't, but he was in denial so it was okay. Antonio moved to a different area, deciding to let the kids get whatever eggs were still over in the area he'd found his first egg in.
He walked to a tree and jumped up on one branch, pulling himself up carefully and then looking through the leaves for an egg. Certainly someone would have hid one up there...

Antonio blinked at the little tyuri in his egg, and grinned slightly, eying it. It was red, too. He smiled a little and carefully climbed down, the egg and tyuri in tow. He grinned smugly and went over to Amparo. "Look't what I found!"
"I see that." Amparo smirked and grabbed him, sitting him down. "Now let the little'uns get the eggs for a bit, will ya?" She snorted at him. Antonio pouted at her, and then set the tyuri carefully on his shoulder.
"One more. 'm trying to find something for Abrihet." Antonio replied bluntly, staring at Amparo. Amparo rubbed her eyes with a sigh and nudged him.
"One more, then you sit down and let the kids who're supposed to be doin' this do it, will ya?" Amparo smirked at him. Antonio grinned and, tyuri in tow, started to look again for an egg for Abrihet. This time it had to really count, because he doubted Amparo was gonna let him find more than one more. Determination set in, and he began his search.

There he was. Savius had KNOWN there was kin nearby. Familiar too, though it'd been long enough that he couldn't remember the other birds name. Moving at an easy pace, he headed toward the Owl child, only to be distracted by an excited, bouncing Iamel. "You hunting eggs?"
He swung his sword, emphisizing the hunting portion of the project. Maybe the prey was a bit defenseless, but the spirit was there. Though admittedly he hadn't been doing very well.
Over by the food, Lithle and Jer'ain picked through the offerings, the young girl showing more enthusiasm than her guardian. All that unsucessful hunting had built up an appetite.
