((Lol, well looks like my luck finally went on lunch break or something. ))
Calli hadn't cast the shielding spell quickly enough to protect Drake, but Kenshin had. Calli was grateful, but had little time to thank him.... or even move, as the Ochu, enraged from it's vine bouncing off of the shield, instead swung it around and hit Calli. It caught her right in the stomach, throwing her to the side as the claws raked through her shirt and scratched her side up a bit.

1-2 Calli manages to get her feet under her and skid to a halt, but is too winded to attack this time (Nothing happens)
3 Same as above, but the claws poisoned her. (Begins to lose 50hp every turn till she can heal)
4-5 Calli manages to stay on her feet, and, skidding to a halt, brings her staff up to send a fireball back at the Ochu (-300 damage)
6 Same as above, but is poisoned (Starts losing 50 hp every turn till she can heal, but still also does Ochu -300 damage)
Bah, I keep forgetting to roll the dice. XP. These option things are fun though.))

:she continued to frown knowing she could easily defeat the monster in a few hits with her power leavel but she also knew that it was a test for drake, calli and Raistlin:...

The Ochu moster turned it fierce animosity towards Raistlin, trying to attack him. Fortunately, he's able to evade its swipes and squeeze in a a couple hits. The first, wounded yet another arm of the plant; the second one burned it pretty badly.

"RAAAWR", the thing hissed with fury. It now found itself surrounded by three determined opponents.(Drake, Calli, Raistlin) It was cornered, nearly defensless!- or so they thought. The Ochu might be dim, but it still had instinct.

1: The ochu attempts to grab Calli and stuff her in its razor-sharp "mouth" (-300 calli- if she loses defensive roll)
2:tries to swing a vine at Calli but misses (0)
3:tries to swing a vine at Raistlin but misses (0)
4 It becomes agitated. Ochu STOMP! (-300 all)
5: Stomps but is weak (-150 all)
6: tries to grab Drake but he fights it off.

getting a couple of hits raistlin jumps back into the tree tops waiting for another opening.

the seeds hiting his leg leaves raistlin poisined. the muscles in his leg begin twitching as the poison quickly takes effect. thinking quickly raistlin takes his katana a slices his leg allowing the poison tainted blood to trickle out. his leg still feeling numb raistlin attempts to stand. breathing heavily and leaning his weight onto his good leg he thinks of wut to do next. quckly figuring on how to keep the ochu from dodging or running kenshin shoots a fire orbs around it causing a ring of fire around it. then shoots ice orbs to keep the fire contained. then raistlin jumps off the branch and goes to slice of the cocked back vine.

1-2: Raistlin misses and his knocked away by the ochu(-100 raistlin)
3-4: Raistlin hits cutting off the limb but gets swatted away by another vine(-100 raistlin and ochu)
5-6: Raistlin hits the ochu cutting off the vine and dodges the counter attack of the ocu.(-150 ochu)

((Yea, but it seems I started something. rolleyes Also, Calli's shoulders already have enough scars without adding Ochu claw marks, don't ya think? XP.

Seeing a vine flying his way, Drake hits the ground. He felt it whistle past, just barely missing him and gives a sigh of relief. Hearing Calli give a gasp and her staff dropping to the ground a heartbeat later, though, he quickly glances up, seeing that the Ochu had turned and attacked his teacher after failing to hit Drake. It had also gotten a hit against the other man fighting, but Drake didn't care so much about him. Leaping to his feet again, Drake brings his hands together, focusing for an attack.
(( 1-2: Drake sends a fireball at the Ochu and hits it completely (-300 Ochu)
3-4: Drake's fireball grazes the Ochu, hurting, but mostly enraging it (-150 Ochu)
5-6: Drake misses entirely (-0) ))
Meanwhile, Calli hadn't fared nearly as well as Drake. She'd been focusing on her staff and trying to get an attack ready that would end this fast, when she noticed from the corner of her eye a vine with a claw lashing out at her. Calli breaks the spell with a single word, then leaps back, but is too slow. Midleap, the Ochu catches her, raking its claw across her shoulder, tearing through both clothes and flesh. Calli lands with a painful gasp, going down onto one knee as she drops her staff and reaches up to grasp her bleeding shoulder. Shutting her eyes, she then focuses on healing the gash, as well as the painful poison she could already feel spreading through her blood.

3-4: Calli heals the poison, but not the wound (0)
5: Calli heals both the poison an her wound (+300)
6: Calli doesn't manage to heal either quick enough, and must continue trying, unless interupted (-50)))

seeing the ochu lash out at calli and interuppting her spell raistlin stood up and went to her and stood in front of her. "you continue to cast, i'll fend off the ochu and prevent it from stopping you." looking over his shoulder at her,"maybe i can get a few hits on it in the process." figuring instead of going to the ochu he'd let it come to him.
