Son of a b***h. He's dead. I CAN CONTROL MY POWERS. If Tomoro had to claim her own right by death, she would. That's how loyal to herself she was. Sure, she would die if she used a massive amount of power... but clearly Mergex didn't know what she was made of. She wasn't even a human being anymore, more like a thing, a doll, a playtoy. Tomoro took a deep breath when the plants were burned down; the screams were so horrifying... she couldn't lose her cool. Not yet. She wouldn't let her eye take her over. That was absolute failure, and she was not that.
Tomoro pressed the pouch on the side of her dress, and instantly changed into her battle outfit after a small eery green glow enveloped her. Her pistols were in one hand, staff in the other. She finally knew those incantations in the tree weren't just for show; a very wise soul had put their power into them. Mergex was a fool for thinking she had less power than him; her eye and the staff combined, she was surely two times stronger than him.
Women weren't weaker then men. If he thought that Sora counted for every woman in the world, he could think twice.
And so she stood there, waiting for his every move, listening intently to the screams of the trees, praying in her mind that she would revive them later with her powers.

Got her... He appeared in a flash of flames in the middle of a clearing in some sort of forested area, knowing nothign of the surroundings except for the exsistance of Tomoro being nearby. H espoke in a bored and defiant manner. Yo, Tomo! Where are ya? I was havin' a nice nap when I felt ya get into some trouble. The hell's goin' on, aye? He shoved his ahdns in his pockets as he sluggishly moved around in the clearing, trying to wake up.

Sora figured that Mergex wanted this taken care of alone. So, within a second, she somehow appeared in a cheerleading outfit, pompoms and all. "Come on Mergex-dono, you can take that little mousey hands down!! Bring back your father!" she cheered, jumping up and down, waving the pompoms. There was a faint red tint on her cheeks as she laughed, although she called out to Tomo too.
"Come on, Tomo-chan, little mousey! We just want to play a fun game! See, I'll cheer for you too!" she called out, giggling as though they were friends. "Tomo-channnn. It's okay if you lose; there's no shame in it!" she laughed.
An eye twitched as a boy suddenly appeared in the middle. "Oy, You!" she cried out, "Move outta the way!" She was pissed; why the hell did this guy just suddenly appear?

Mergex smiled as he stopped moving. He held out a finger infront of him. Suddenly a ball of purple light appeared. It moved forward abit till a loud boom erupted from it sending a wall of blackfire to seemlying destory Tomo. But no.. The wall broke in two and completely avoided her. The attack was aimed at the forest itself. Mergex want to burn the trees and grass to dust.
" Your power might be greater but you haven't trained liked me. You haven't experianced it yet like me. Your nothing but a child with a gun on saftey." he said still standing still wanting to see the effects of his attack on her mind.

Do not lose it. If the time comes, and he burns down the forest, you can very well sacrifice your own life and regenerate it, the trees becoming invincible by any creature. He's just taunting you. Nevertheless, the attack on the forest, the screams, and Sora cheering were enough to drive poor Tomoro insane. They had begun to dull out a bit ever since she had coughed. "Do you really think... that something so menial and petty as your attacks on my mind will cause me to go berserk? You're a fool for thinking that. I'm done with you."
The man was insane, and Tomoro wasn't about to join him in his games. What kind of games were involved that meant killing down the plants she loved? As each one began to burn down to the ground, a chorus of screams bounced in and out of her mind, and she carefully recorded each and every single one of them for future revival. It was then that she heard Cal, and turned around, eyes widened with shock. "What... are you doing here? Get out of here. This is my battle. If I die, I die in honor." No measly fire manipulator was going to help her in this battle.... no. That would mean she was even weaker. Mergex claimed that Tomoro had not brought her powers to perfection... how would he know? Month after month of labor with her father forced someone to toughen up. He was just making assumptions.

He rolled his eyes and head back as she spoke to him, also ignoring the taunting voices of the others. Don't give me that chivalry bit. For one who uses that card so often, I know what it really means. So I'm helpin' ya, no matter what you say. You got some fire user here, and he needs to see a true user of the Flames create. And he has some lacky. Don't know what they can do though. Anyways, stop from hiding. It's annoying. He felt the fires from the enmy come closer. Soooooo weeaak... Why did I come here again?

" Do it. Charge at me. Send every hate felt power through your staff and strike me down. Try and try but you will cause more damge to the ones your protect. Soon you will realize if you strike me down others shall find you and others will try. It will never end. It will never stop until EEF is reborn. You see your eye hold alot of power" Mergex said his smile turning to a frown.
" Your eye can turn the balance of a war that has thought to been long over. You can singaly handle give rebirth to the war the encompassed many Universes!" Mergex said getting ready to attack.

"Guess father wasn't a nutcase after all. Hrm. I wonder how you know all of this. I expect something cheesy next, like I am your father." Tomoro said, smirking. She no longer thought of this as even a battle anymore; Cal and her combined, they could take down the man no problem. Tomoro let out a large, obvious sigh, turning around and heading to a spot where a tree had burned down. He must... be taking drugs. Smiling to herself, Tomoro put one finger in the ashes, and muttered a few words that nobody could possibly make out.
Within seconds, the ashes erupted into a column of black, and Tomoro stood back, eyebrows raised. While she waited for the tree to grow, she took off her eyepatch as well, as if to taunt the stupid man who stood before her. "Oh Look! My eyeball is right here. But oh, too bad, you can't have it. I use it to see." By the time she finished speaking, the ashes had turned into a dark rusted red trunk, and dark green leaves had spurted from the many branches on top of it.
And she wasn't even fazed.

Courtney had followed out of curiosity, surprised that the girl had had such a reaction to her name, Mihara...
She now stood behind tree watching the scene unfold with horror. She couldn't just stand there bt what could she do? She shrieked when the tree she hid behind disenegrated. She was in the open now, she had to make a decision, she had to act.
The girl Tomoro wasn't exactly her friend, yet. But she could hear the screams too, she was a mind reader by nature. Courtney couldn't help Tomoro on her own. She mentally called the only one she could. The moment she turned around all she saw was fire. Courtney gasped, her mind racing. The it dawned on her. "Out of the way!" Stones began to fly from the ground forming a wall; blocking the fire from spreading any further although she could do nothing about stopping the fire itself.
It kept building and after a few minutes Courtney was already exhausted, she could see the stones weren't holding up too well, there was too much heat.

He watched Tomoro do her thing, and a large thought sprang to his mind. Tomo... how many times can you do that before exhausting yourself?

Mergex smiled and held two fingers out. Two small rays of blackfire came out. They where moving really fast. One though went to hit Cal straight in the chest and the other went to go find the girll he saw and hit her in her chest. If Tomo went to block anyone of them they would explode sending fumes into the air. much like the gas from the tower.

((It's not fair if a character is suddenly hit by such a strike against their own will. You could say it would 'head toward them', but you can't just make the character get hurt.
