@Kana: Which volume did you want to get? any volume! they dont sell Beyblade manga at all!! >.< only slam dunk, inuyasha, and other anime i dont care about trying to read!

Oh. sweatdrop Well, so far only one book store (out of 35 and counting - yes, I've been to practically every bookstore here in the country capital) sells the Beyblade manga (published under Viz's KIDS manga line, or VizKids). Thing is, each volume sells for around Php500 (roughly $8-9.50), so it's pretty much a steal as opposed to other titles, but... I have a weekly allowance of only Php1400 (around $25-26) and have other expenses (daily meals, transportation, weekly groceries, etc) to think of. Plus, my comics class instructor requires us to watch a movie at least once every 2 weeks, which puts another strain on the budget.
Yes, I'm living by myself, which is good; at least I'm learning how to get along on my own, but the budgetting and being unable to buy the stuff you want because of budget constraints... that sucks. Ah, well, but it comes with being an adult (turning 1 cool . Also, my grandmother insists I learn 'the ways of the business world', hence the pretty tight budget (a survey found that the average weekly allowance of college-age students in my are was around Php2000-3000 = roughly $35-50). She says I'll need it when I take over the family business... >.>
Okay, that was pretty long... O.o

xd 'rightful place'... nice one! Frankly, I don't care for Battle B-Daman. Buuuuut... the same animation studio in charge of that series was also the one responsible for the art in G-Revolution. And I found it strange that Tsubasa (blue-haired guy who looks like a girl) was similar in basic design to Hilary. :O And that Gray looked sorta like an ash-blonde Kai minus the triangles...

How so? All I know is, it saved me from the rigors of babysitting my little brother Saturday mornings when it first came out here...
Oh, wait. Here, it didn't replace Beyblade. Battle B-Daman aired on weekend mornings while Beyblade aired on early weekend evenings...

Oh, wait. Here, it didn't replace Beyblade. Battle B-Daman aired on weekend mornings while Beyblade aired on early weekend evenings... i miss Beyblade in cartoon network...i sorta like Battle B-daman abit..maybe its because i just think Gray, Wen and Li are cute..

Well, here, Battle Bedamon was the reason they stopped selling beyblade. Because they needed more shelf room for BB.

... I liked B-daman. It made me laugh because the Scottish sounding giu looked exactly like Max with different colouring, there was a bad guy who looked like Tala Kai-posing and every second character I saw looked almost exactly like a Beyblade character in some way.
@Icey: They use that shelf space here for Pokemon and Yugioh. B-daman wasn't that popular, probably because it was one of teh last saturday cartoons on and so the kids would have gotten bored of the TV by then.
I'm still proud of my town though, within a month the precious twelve beyblades that came out in shops (counted) were all bought. AND only 2 of them were bought by me! (showed restraint, though almost started to cry in the shop)
