Hybrid? How do you factor that

So I guess under all technicalities I should fall under this category but I'm not otherkin in the least. I believe Angel is a Possition or title. That you can't be born an Angel and that forms are fluid and that any being can fly in the realms or grow fancy wings and look however they want depending on their strength and power.

Thus I believe you need more credentials then looks and energy type to be classified as such.

Thus... talk to god... He'll tell you whether your an angel and hell takes anyone who can survive as a "demon" Again more a term then anything else. Though you can work for God and such without being an Angel by being a nice person and helping to keep up the integrity of the realm.

This is my opinion which is why I don't post in many otherkin threads.

On the subject of hybrids, I am of mixed view on this. Like...while I believe that it is possible to have a soul created of a prior union of two completely different origins, I don't believe that such a union necessarily creates a hybrid.

At least not in the manner that biology would teach us to think of hybrids...

I think that each soul ends up manifesting itself in a rather unique manner regardless of origin. For example a soul that has parentage from a kitsune mother and demon father could end up rather angelic and mild mannered in nature.

Furthermore such a spirit may not even identify as being otherkin at all. Not because the lineage is not there but because none of it is expressed in the spirit in a disconcerting or alienating way. No one would find it weird if their spiritual projection has a preference for wings--especially if they themselves have such a preference. Same with those for draconic, demonic, vampiric, vulpine, angelic, equestrian, lupine, feline, ect., preferences. None would find it particularly strange to have their most beloved traits manifest in themselves.

Actually, these preferences have led some to the conclusion that otherkin simply do not exist as one might be hard pressed to tell a difference, if any exists, between someone whose spirit identifies strongly with angelics/celestials and one whose spirit IS an angelic/celestial.

Heck...given how little is really known, one could even venture a guess and say that maybe otherkin are created when spirits evolve into such forms. That perhaps the only real difference between them is a few more lifetimes of development.

Then...there's the other side of the argument...that these souls simply took identity with the last physical form they were in before rebirth and are simply too stubborn to let it go.

Frankly though...I just love the conjecture itself. It shows how creative and varied thinking can be. But more to the point, I really don't believe any of it matters. You are what you are.

So in context of having mixed origins like angelic and demonic, there are a lot of things that could be said. I could be semi-serious and say that opposites attract... Or I could be more optimistic and point out that as being the union of opposites, you stand in a position of greater understanding than most. Then again, you could just shrug the whole thing off and decide to keep what you like about both and throw away the rest.

Really is up to you.

Maybe a certain blood type is the product of being an incarnate, or a certain blood type is desirable for incarnating in such a body. *shrugs* Most things in this field are just speculation and conjecture.

Many different beings have wings. What makes you think that you are specifically a celestial angel otherkin?

People may see wings but many things Have wings and wings can be symbols as well. Sometimes I want to be able to fly and at these times if you look at my energy something like wings may appear but that doesn't really mean too much.
Its a product of my will and desire.

Thus under what circumstances were these wings seen and what makes you think again. Specifically that they would be angel wings.

I would think to be an angel you would have to have some sort of devine link to god or to be working for him etc.

Be careful of the "Oh yeah, me too!" response when it comes to groups of people that practice this sort of stuff. I'm not making any statements about the specific practices themselves, but no one is completely immune to the power of suggestion.

That said, lots of people have wings or the sensation of having wings but that doesn't mean that they're angels. If I'm not mistaken, in the Bible (the primary source for what people think of as angel lore) most of the angels had more than two wings.
