 Luna flew up and out of the way of the grasping creatures. She found a canopy top of one of the booths to sit on and pouted a little. She just wanted to play and have fun! Why didn't anyone want to have fun with her? It wasn't fair! Where were all the nice people? Or even the people who were fun to tease? She missed Vash and Hush (she didn't miss the half-dragon that tried to kill her, she had even forgotten her name)! Dusk smiled at Twilight, happy to hear the praise. "I wouldn't mind a drink." He said after finishing another bite. He saw Twilight ripping up some of the bread and dunking it in the extra gravy. He copied her and happily ate half of the bread that way. He stopped after a moment to focus on finishing off the meat. He looked back at his mom when she spoke next and nodded. He took the bowl she was holding out to him. "Okay. I'll stay here. Juice or cider would be nice." (WC: 92; Points: 11+12+7+1+8+14+17+20+17+8+5+5+17+9+18+8+6+7+17 =207) (taking trident)

Twilight continued to eat in silence, smiling to herself when she noticed Dusk copying how she was eating the bread. "Alright. Hold this for me and I'll go get us some drinks. Is there any thing you want?" She asked handing over her bowl of food. She stood up and nodded at his comment. Juice or cider. Both should be fairly easy to find. She walked over towards the stalls and it didn't take long to find a stall selling cider. She purchased two mugs and they seller filled them with cider. She then headed back to where Dusk was sitting. (WC: 101; Points: 7+20+20+10+7+19+11+3+16+13+5+16+6+9+3+17+5+10+1 =198 ) (taking a frog)

Ulric worked his way through the crowd and caught up to his friend. They chatted for a few minutes but went their separate ways. Turned out his buddy was meeting up with a date so he didn't want to hold him up. He'd have to catch up with him another time. Of course if his friend's date went well he might not see him too much in the coming weeks. He smiled to himself and shook his head. He turned around to take in his surroundings so he could figure out what he wanted to do next. (WC: 97; Points: 17+16+5+9+4+7+12+7+19+17+13+12+8+6+5 =157) (taking this frog)

Dusk sat waiting for his mom and watched people passing by. It wasn't long before Twilight returned with some drinks. He waited for her to put a drink down so she could take her food and then took the drink she set by him. It looked like it was some cider. He took a sip and savored the taste. "Good choice mama." Twilight set down one of the mugs of cider by Dusk. "Here's your's kiddo." She said. She took her bowl of food back from him and sat down. She took a drink of her cider and nodded at his comment. "It is good cider. I'm glad you're enjoying it." She said before beginning to eat some more. It wasn't long before both finished eating and she stood up taking his bowl as well. She wasn't sure what to do with them but then saw that there was a table set up to take empty bowls and plates so they could be washed and reused at a later time. Ulric took in the area and decided to go get a drink and maybe some easy food to eat while walking. He bought a mug of ale and some skewers of meat. The ale was nice and cold and went down nicely after a couple of skewers. He ended up wandering to the area with the games and decided to play some. There was a bottle toss game, where a ball had to hit some wooden 'bottles' and knock them over. He ended up playing that game but the bottles only wobbled some and didn't fall over. After his three throws he began to wonder if maybe the game was rigged to where the bottles wouldn't fall over. (WC: 118; Points: 17+16+5+9+4+7+12+7+19+17+13+12+8+6+5+14 =171) (taking a candle)

Elena and Rissa finally found an outdoor table and bench where they sat down next to each other to eat their treat. The girls giggled and nudged each other as they continued to feed each other. Rissa's cheeks were already red, "You know..." She said quietly, "it's kind of like we're on a date..." She wasn't sure how Elena would take that since she had rejected her advances before, but she still couldn't help it from coming out. Points: 123 (Taking: Greatsword)

Elena was still giggling with the previous bite in her mouth. She loved the sweet and slightly tart flavor with the crunch from the fried dough. Rissa's statement caught her a little off guard. She felt her cheeks grow warm, "You're right... it kind of is..." She nibbled her lip, not sure if she should have said that. She wasn't necessarily giving the green light, but stating a truth. Still, she couldn't deny that had feelings for her... Points: 76 (Taking: Nothing)

Luna sighed, shaking her wings in boredom. She really needed to at least find Crescent. Things would be better to at least have one familiar face (pun intended) around her. But for now, she supposed she would just spend this event on her own. She yawned and stretched, making a tiny sound that most of the normal sized people wouldn't hear. It was getting late and it seemed the festival was starting to close down. It was a shame, really. Points: 71 (Taking: Green Ghost Kitty) (If anyone wants they can talk to Luna...)

Rissa nibbled her lip as a strange quiet fell over the two. They continued eating the confectionary though it was mostly in silence, though the sounds of games and people shouting all around them was still in their ear. There was something about all the commotion and joyous sounds that was relaxing. It made her remember home and the hustle and bustle of the inn her grandmother ran. Mostly, however, it was the happiness that everyone was exhibiting that made her smile. Points: 125 (Taking: Candle)

"It's a nice change, isn't it?" Elena asked as she took another bite. The sky had grown so dark in the last few minutes but the lights were so pretty and twinkled all around. In a way, it was romantic. There were never these many lights in Shalinosa, everything there was always so dark and lifeless. This world they now found themselves in was something else entirely, it wasn't filled with near as much despair. Elena moved her hand forward and gave Rissa's a light squeeze to let her know that they were okay. Points: 94 (Taking: Skull)

Twilight looked down at Dusk. "Well we can go play more games or we can go look at the various stalls selling things." She suggested. She figured that they'd only be here for a little while longer before heading home. She knew that Dusk wouldn't let them leave until the matter about the familiars would be settled. However that was a discussion they needed to have as a family so it would have to wait for the next day or so. After all the festival wasn't ending tonight. Dusk followed after his mom as she took care of their dishes. He looked up at her as she said what they could do now. While winning more candy would be nice, he really wanted to go back and look at the familiars. Especially those candy corn ones. He was hopeful that she'd buy one for him but had a feeling that it wouldn't be tonight. But maybe he could convince her to get one tomorrow. "Why don't we go look at the other stalls. Maybe they'll have something nice for you and mommy."
