‘That brat, using fate as a bargaining tool…’ Usagi clicked her teeth and rested her cheek on her hand. The Amekage was something else to be sure as he treated the very fate of the world like his own personal plaything. The Tanikage made a mental note to be wary of Amegakure, as there was no telling what the manchild would do once given free reign. But now wasn’t the time for bickering; everyone had a common enemy and needed to at least pretend to get along.
“Lady Arashikage,” Usagi spoke up. She sounded serious but looked no less bored. “If we continue to fight against the Amekage like this, then everyone dies. Not just the subjects he lords over.” The woman let out a breath and pushed herself to her feet. “Isn’t that right… Satoshi, was it?” The blonde woman groaned a little as she stretched her arms above her head. “But eventually you’ll need to grow up and stop hiding behind something as fallible and as fragile as destiny.” Her green eyes turned down to the young Kage as she spoke. “And take responsibility for what you’ve put into the world.” Were Uchiha always like this? The way Satoshi acted, in a way, reminded her of Ito… Was this how her old friend could end up? Usagi hoped not.
Before she could elaborate or speak further, Usagi’s senses screamed at her. But it was too late, as a woman infiltrated the meeting and threw a corpse onto the table. Usagi didn’t know the names or faces of either woman, but she could sense the malicious air from the one still standing. “How’d she get in here?” Usagi breathed, shocked that someone snuck by her own sensory capabilities. The Tanikage glanced at the hologram being projected, a flash of terror running through her mind as she remembered the Nine Tails.
“You two! With me!” She yelled to Mikki and the shinobi the Hokage summoned. Usagi didn’t remember his name, but she didn’t care. She clapped her hands together, her chakra molding the wood from the desk to form a perfect clone of herself next to the two shinobi. The clone hurriedly pushed the two of them out of the meeting room as the original stood between them and the Jashinist woman.
“We have to get the Kyuubi sealed away now or who knows what those freaks will do with it.” Usagi’s wood clone spoke to Mikki and the nameless shinobi once they were out in the hall. “If the Hokage and the Shogun are smart, they’ll be right behind us.”‘I hope…’
▱▰▱Kenshin found everything about Satoshi to be completely odious. Even when he agreed to the empress's offer and handed over the jinchuuriki, Kenshin was disgusted. He pushed Soyeon toward him like she was cattle and nothing more. Kenshin caught her in his arms briefly before setting her down next to him. "Don't you want to be with a man who loves and respects you more than that?" The sentinel questioned her as the glare of his tenseigan pierced into Soyeon's soul. The Lord of the Pale Citadel looked over at Ada with a serious but no less amorous gaze. His love and admiration for the woman were unparalleled with anyone else the stern sentry had ever known in his life. He sighed and just hoped that his daughters would not fall into the arms of a terrible man like Satoshi Hojo. On these matters, he agreed completely with Miyuki but could not vocalize it given his duty to the orders of the empress. Despite his gut instinct not to cooperate with Satoshi, Unki and Usagi did have a point about the world's fate. They all needed to work together to protect this reality. After that, Kenshin fully intended on reclaiming the land that was stolen from the empire. He had no qualms with breaking an oath made toward a thief. When Toso began going on a long and inaccurate diatribe toward Koharu, Kenshin was able to immediately recognize it as coming from Saiken. "In a few moments I'll purify you myself, Saiken, before your corruption spreads too far into Toso." This seemed to be a matter that Kenshin would have to take into his own hands to protect the jinchuuriki. Before Kenshin could begin the purification ritual with Soyeon, Takumi broke her way into the council chamber.
▱▰▱Kenshin's gaze narrowed with righteous fury as the powerful but corrupting woman entered the room. When Kameyo's body was thrown on the table in front of him he was shocked, horrified, and disgusted by the butchery. He stood up and looked down at Kameyo's lifeless body before taking his black cloak off. The latches on his shoulders were unbuckled as the large piece of cloth was taken off. He used his fingers to slowly shut her eyelids before draping the cape over her corpse. He clasped his hands together in prayer and did all that he could to restore her dignity. Kenshin performed a blessing of Evergreen over her in the absence of a proper funeral at this time. He looked up at Takumi and began to shout with booming authority over the room that would pierce through all other chatter. "Damn you!" Kenshin gave the Jashinist a look of disgust as his voice was filled with a rage born of regret. He should never have let her leave the safety of the Citadel, but what choice did he have? He felt himself being consumed within a whirlpool of contradictions and mourning. "She was a good person who fought for what was right! What have you Jashnists ever done besides existing as a blight on the world?! Senseless barbarity!" Kenshin denounced Takumi strongly with unyielding righteous wrath. He did not always agree with Kameyo but he spoke truly. He only wished that he could have told her that before she was taken from the world. Kenshin began levitating as dark blue reincarnation chakra coated his body. The human sage felt his veins bulge as he inhaled an immense amount of natural energy into his breath. He clasped his hands together before his natural energy and reincarnation chakra combined and spread across the vastness of the Pale Citadel. He looked over at Ada as his tenseigan glowed. "Leave!" His wife was immediately escorted out by the guards despite her brief objections about leaving him to such a dangerous enemy. Kenshin used this powerful jutsu to preserve the perfect order of the Pale Citadel against the enemy. "Chaos will not exist here!" Kenshin shouted as he continued to levitate over Takumi. The skyguards of the Pale Citadel then grabbed Kameyo's wrapped body and took her out of the room to remain at the hospital for the time being. Dozens more skyguards began filling the room and pointing their weapons at Takumi. "I am Kenshin Hyuga, Lord of Nohara and First Sannin of Arashigakure! And who are you that has committed this heinous crime?!" Kenshin looked at Takumi and demanded to know the Jashinist's identity.
▱▰▱Meanwhile, underneath the Pale Citadel in the Sky Cells, the skyguards would escort the Hokage and others down. The Hokage would see Masato in a feral state continuously banging against the barrier. He had opened the seventh gate and was rampaging furiously against the massive cell that he was contained within. His veins were bulging as his sharp fox teeth gnawed against the barrier. "GRAAAAAAWR!" Masato growled as he stared at Sadayo, unable to recognize her. When Sadayo questioned the skyguards they would remain silent. They would suddenly begin throwing their hands against the barrier in continuous palm formations. Powerful Hyuga and fuuin techniques were carried inside the barrier and began locking down Masato's chakra network. The exhaustion of using the seventh gate began to overwhelm him. He growled more as he was being battered and contained. Masato then fell to the ground and became completely unconscious as the gates were closed and the tailed beast cloak dissipated. "He's alive but in a fugue state now. The interior is secure." The men said as Ran, Sadayo, and the rest were allowed inside of the cell. Usagi would then be permitted to perform the sealing on Ran.
Technique Used: ▰ Sage Art: The Circle of Preservation | Rank S+ | Senjutsu & Bloodline (Tenseigan) | Spiritual While the tenseigan is active during sage mode, Kenshin claps his hands together and mixes his reincarnation chakra and natural energy together. The cost of this technique is split in half between the reincarnation chakra on Kenshin's main reserves and the other half in nature chakra. This natural reincarnation chakra mixture covers the entire area (topic) in dark chakra with a dark green aura. The chakra then seemingly dims and dissipates but instead forms a circle around the area that perseveres. This is a circle of perfect order where chaos cannot exist. No individual within the circle can manifest destruction that harms the natural order. No entity including Kenshin himself can destroy any object in the circle including structures and vegetation for ten posts. Attacks can still be manifested and harm others but the area will be preserved and attacks cannot leave the circle to destroy other places unless they are of stronger quality. Half the resource cost of techniques from the rapier style of Sen Gekiretsu Nagareboshi applied allows the technique to carry the tenketsu sealing effects of a same-rank palm strike such as a B-Rank carrying 64 Palms effects. Getsuruito must be in its rapier form to use this ability and 5 chakra can be spent upon activation of this technique to transform it as such. Smiting Blade of the Night Watch [ Naitō Otchi no Sumittinguburēdo ] | Rank X | Bukijutsu [ Lightning ] | Spiritual When this technique is activated it crackles violently with night blue lightning for the entire duration. The electricity from the blade also forms bolts of lightning over the body of the user and appears to supercharge them. Whenever the blade is swung or thrust over the duration the user can fire a concentrated blast of ten bolts of lightning to accompany the strike equal to the rank applied but for only half the cost to initiate the technique. Hatake, Raiu, and Sage enhanced lightning can pass through the blade and apply to these lightning bolts. The bolts cause a thunderously deafening sonic boom and can inflict tier 2 burns upon direct contact with the lightning. Additionally, these lightning bolts can be freely applied to all complex bukijutsu for no action cost to smite enemies. The only action cost is when the technique is activated and all subsidiary abilities of the technique do not consume actions and only chakra. This ability can be used in both forms of Getsuruito.
Draconic Sabre of Moon Sundering [ Getsu Sandaringu no Dorakonikku Seibā ] | Rank X | Bukijutsu [ Lightning ] | Complex This is the original ability of the ancient Getsuruito blade and thus requires the original katana form. 5 chakra can be spent to transform the blade to its original form upon activation of this technique. Crackling and thunderous dark blue lightning can be applied to the katana's edge at any rank and the same lightning can form a dragon head formed from electricity over the body of the user for 10 posts. This allows all spiritual techniques the sword comes into contact with to be slashed through and even cut in half at the same rank despite the complex nature of the technique. For half of the original cost to activate the technique a same-rank spiritual electrical energy slash can be sent out from the slash of the blade. This same cost can be applied to any complex bukijutsu to achieve the same effect. The original 10 post activation of this ability consumes an action but all subsidiary abilities do not.

The reaction to the not so sensible Sage was to be expected and a bemused smirk played on her face as she watch the dialogue that evolved from this, entertained by the direct mocking thrown out by the ruffled and thoughtless genin. After that moment had passed and things were moving on Satoshi was basically how she expect him to be, that is he was trying to have things move at his own, game playing and mocking pace with much success to his own agenda. Despite the jabs, snide and personal shots taken and the clear agitation it brought many of the others, he still managed to legitify his position at least for now for the most part, how long others would recognize or put up with this would be a question for the future. It was unfortunate that Satoshi had such a bad name and had no intention to make it at least appear better than the truth, though after a few other displays from people outside of their personal circle acting out in one way or another. The Hokage seemed like a teacher with some rowdy students and the fact two of these had already left had given Seina the impression of someone lacking control. Kenshin was exactly how she had imagined if not lacking the self control issues over the want to be in control she pegged him to be like, though it was clear despite his coping that he wasn’t thrilled with exactly how things were going.
She silently watched from the corner of her eye as Soyeon was herded over to to Kenshin with little respect for the circumstance or really for Soyeon, though she didn’t say anything and stopped paying attention when he started speaking to her. Her attention was stolen away from the current discussions by the shifting of Naga whom seemed to have noticed something, extending around to one of her sides as he rose the height of his head and let out a strong hiss. The pause between this and Seina choosing to acknowledge it was a couple of seconds apart, a tint of disbelief or the idea she’d misunderstood playing in her mind before turning toward him. Her expression was somewhere between questioning and accusatory as she spoke to the snake ”You taste in the room, what do you mean?” She asked with a frown on concern forming after doing so, fingers taking hold of her fan as she snapped it open. As if on cue before the snake could try an elaborate her eyes caught sight of the figure who leant on the wall and spoke up to bring attention to herself, Seina immediately catching a whiff of the powerful and oppressive chakra the woman held and was shocked she had somehow missed it. Seina shifted a step back as Naga explicitly placed himself between their position when the corpse was thrown for all to see, treated unceremoniously like Seina might honestly have done in a similar position.
It didn’t take long for her to come to realize the deceased was someone of importance to quite a few people here, if the point was to elicit an emotional reaction by taking this step then it had certainly worked on a few. It was then she noticed her own heart was thumping like a drum, the rhythmic hammering feeling like it was thumping her ribcage with the intention of breaking out, realizing she hadn’t ever seen anyone like this in her life. It didn’t matter what the others were doing or saying as her attention was mostly focused on the incredibly dangerous person and watching out for if she made any moves. The sensation was almost paralyzing and left her in a state of guarded uncertainty, having extended the blades on her fan which was pressed unfolded to her side, only looking away when Satoshi threw order at the bodyguard accompaniment. This and others standing and addressing the intruder left her feeling more at ease to move as she wouldn’t be the first thing being targeted anymore, more immediate targets having presented themselves. She signalled for her Oni to be prepared to offer support on a moments notice with a glare, Naga having poised himself about herself and was face level with her whilst letting out a long slow hiss as she turned her attention to study how the now moving Kasa agents would handle the situation. She didn’t make any obvious move to protect Satoshi as she believed her could and would protect himself and despite her new loyalty for him, she wasn’t going to play bodyguard for him unless it was actually required, believing she could spend the time worrying about him studying this dangerous party crasher.
Satoshi's little gambit had worked! the Leaf and Storm Empires to stop expanding in to the territory that Satoshi had been so adamant in keeping under his control. Her hand on his knee would offer a gentle squeeze in anticipation while the jinchuuriki was ecstatic for her partner/keeper. One step closer to his goals, after all! Sure she had been used as a bargaining chip without any input on her part, but that didn't matter to her. Satoshi always knew the best thing for her! He bid her well before spanking her rear with enough for to push her forwards towards Kenshin. Thankfully the Lord Hyuuga would be there to catch her, arms spread open for Soyeon as she made impact with his body. In one swift motion, he'd set her down gently in a seat nearby with a rather exasperated expression on the man's face. At his question, the Minister would open her mouth to quickly reply with her usual disbeliefs before catching sight of his eyes. How they pierced the veil into her soul as the woman would unable to shake that feeling of invading her plagued mind.
"He does love me." Soyeon protested Kenshin accusation. "He just has...odd ways of showing affection. But I assure you that we're meant for one another. Just as I can see with you and your wife. We're trying for our own child as well." Sharing a bit more than what was required, yes, but Soyeon felt a little more...balanced when she was with Kenshin for a short time. Like there was some sort of foundation that was absent when she was with Satoshi. Under direct orders from Satoshi, she'd await to have Son Goku purified before the untimely arrival of some woman tossing a former living ninja through the room nonchalantly, alongside taking the arm of somebody who dared to stand in their way. At first Soyeon really could care less about some nameless victim up until she was about to identify them. Satoshi had told her about the woman, Kameyo. Out on instinct, she'd look at the perpetrator out of malice. If this woman was on Satoshi's s**t list, they certainly had to go.

Well heck. Right up front, Sadayo nearabout allowed herself to spout some astringent retort to slime-coated Ex-Storm Shadow but the surprise, unwelcome visitor had her passing over that very thought. The villain the Hidden Storm put up with. Takumi’s entrance was certainly beginning to convey an impression that even first-hand encounters from allied reports would only be scratching the surface of the severity ahead of them. This was the condensed bunch of Jashinists; one name stood out to tell it all. Naturally, the sight of one butchered sealer bashing into the table urged her to recoil into the back of her seat and an impetuous victim taking blows through a stone wall wasn’t a peachy sight to take in either. Sadayo was wide-eyed, leery, hush and seemingly stock-still in her chair. One wrong discernable move, really, and there was no telling what the intruder would do. Satoshi was outraged; acting on his ire probably bought the puppeteer some time. “Here we go.” Sadayo droned dryly as she jolted aside her seat with the sole of her boot. The puppeteer’s attention was unyielding from Takumi’s form she brought to light her snapping fingers from behind her silken cloak. As if a popping sound itself had power, Sadayo drew upon a fleet of special weapons to circle her. “One summit battle evidently wasn’t enough.” Of her troop, a matching shady pair of puppets withdraw from the circle on Sadayo’s call to any hope of a lingering Skyguard: “Get a medic on that girl!” These players were fully clothed in black looked harmless as one carried an overstuffed package in hand that sports a blocky, recognizable red symbol sewn on its front. The duo made airy strides to collect and take Musica to some area of safety until Skyguards could finally take over. “Don’t waste your breath asking for names. Savage radicals are all the same.” :: To the basement ::
Staff of the Pale Citadel truly had the bulk of the madness cupped safely in their capable hands with intricate defenses. In the meantime, all Sadayo could do was just watch warily for her time to come and bear witness to how truly ignorant she was of the intimate dangers between a host and beast. What details were lost in the moment and how it felt different. Someone Sadayo actually knew this time had fleshed out this role. It was like fate took a better turn than it did that one day, ten years ago the Shukaku still probably cursed the Hidden Sand for. A hopeless wisecrack at her own dispense came to mind when her sober, but unveiling anxieties met an aggravated, blended monster. Her delivery, however, was as dry and deadpan as it ever could have been, “i guess I should’ve painted eyebrows on.” The interior was secure.
It may or may not be worth knowing but Sadayo carries a brush and vial of ink for many occasions. She dutifully keeps the vial full and among her various supplies. Likewise, she has some ability to remember certain details concerning her trade that it was only fitting she was certain to practice inscribing her knowledge. It was from this dedicated memory Sadayo instructed Ran to remain at some distance. Without the ink and brush, the immensely powerful fuuin such as these designed for moving Tailed Beasts required extra care for the woman who didn’t specialize in these sort of endeavors. Where others, with immense proficiency in sealing, could probably turn to these trinkets as needed for papery needs. After the skyguard deemed the area safe, she employed a stage-hand puppet to mark the floor with an array of necessary characters under the control of Sadayo’s hand. A symbol was painted on Ran’s person too. The Hokage must have looked like an over-cautious amateur. “There. That should make the move to Ran tolerable.” For everyone, ideally. Whatever cooperation there was ahead of Leaf and Valley [and Zaishin] was yet to come. Sadayo did volunteer herself to make the transfer, after all.
This unspecialized method required touch, focus, channeling, and direction. The hot-head host was out cold. Even then, the unconscious hot-head was just dead weight that Sadayo, again, volunteered to arrange (since nobody should want to wake up with their face bits squished against stone and these beast sealings traditionally happen with participants faced up). At Masato’s side was where Sadayo stayed as inexperience had her keeping tabs on any proof of his breath.
One thing lead to another and before they knew it, Kurama was as writhing red collective aura being strung along like a balloon on a string under the mercy of Sadayo’s guide. If energy could grumble and growl then this was certainly the best time as any. The air was heavy. The beast was not happy being plucked again from a small, fleshy prison just to be stuffed into another.
The entire basement was not allowed to go unaware just how disgusted the Nine-tails was with the whole ordeal. Before long, the writhing red mass of outraged energy that kept the fox’s true form fastened under restraints was taking aim and barreling bit by bit in the willing new host. Ran was at least three arms’ lengths away. She was steady on her knees with arms and breath trembling. Her face- her fear- hidden under her mask. For Sadayo’s first transfer the ordeal was looking like a success with the last bubbling, trailing blobs of Kurama’s aura being prodded into place. Ran’s abdomen was a clean slate for a new start. The operative sounded fine too. The first sound she emitted beyond an unsteady breath was something like a laugh. Like all was well or disbelief that it all worked out.
But she shrieked. As if the wait for things to set in and work wasn’t enough like sitting on pins and needles. Ran recoiled, her head bending forward as she suddenly wrapped her arms around her core. The breaking start of a wail creeping faster, faster into a blaring shrill as she sat curled forward. It was surreal and Sadayo swore she felt her own heart skip a beat with fear. She was stunned, really. What could she do? This wasn’t a puppet or a bleeding wound. The echo of her cry came quickly with an inkling of Kurama’s growl growing back into the sound of distress. Skyguard would have to box her up and prepare for the worst now, right? For another rampaging beast. A swirling, hideous, bright blaze of red energy erupted around Ran as her cries lessened then worsened. The fox’s growl became another roar that came beside another, brighter swell that had even Sadayo feel the heat.
In a panic, uncertainty, or maybe amidst a sense of loss, she reeled and turned. She couldn’t look and buried her face over the form of the ex-host. The heat and light died. So did Ran’s cries. Kurama’s anger turned his latest host into a hideous heap of ash. A figure of ash so pristinely immortalized until the red energy began to seep from a loose prison. It wouldn’t be long now.
When Sadayo looked over her shoulder again the onset of shock wasn’t taking well. She was wide eyed. Stunned. She tried to speak but managed mostly empty attempts of broken syllables beyond two words:“that…wasn’t” That wasn’t supposed to happen. Someone wasn’t supposed to die.
Takumi continued to give the members of the summit her expression of bored disinterest. Her entrance ignited fear in the witnesses. Though that didn’t surprise her. Shinobi lived in fear, governed by it, even if they didn’t know it. She retracted her bone blade, making it evident that the cultist felt unthreatened by a gathering of the strongest Shinobi in the world. After an eternal second, she finally addressed those who spoke.
“I am surprised you do not run out of air when you recite so many titles, child.” Takumi chided to Kenshin. She dismissed everything else he had said, every ounce of rage the man felt. “You should not mourn the death of Lady Kameyo, as it is your fault she is dead. I do not know what drove her from your safety, but you are infamous for your inflexible morality.” The Jashinist slipped her hand up to scratch the ears of the cat on her shoulder. “It is your biggest failure, and one that will haunt you just like the ghost of Lady Kameyo.”
Takumi ignored him as another reacted. “Ah, the child Kage.” She said, more to herself as Satoshi yelled. His age became apparent to Takumi, his rage becoming reformed into a tantrum. Like a brat who had one of his toys taken from him. “Was this not in your book of prophecies, child? Surely you must have known this would happen.” Takumi raised her eyebrow at the Crow Eye, her tone making it evident that her question was rhetorical.
Takumi flexed her fingers and bones erupted from the ground, trapping the Rain assailants in place. “Or are you scared to find that there is not such thing as fate? Or if there was, that the gods are not beholden to it, let alone human beings? Are you frightened of the implications of that Knowledge, young Kage? That without fate, you will need to accept the consequences of your actions? Of the evil that you, yourself, put into the world.” Takumi shifted her gaze to Soyeon then, to illustrate her point. “It must terrify you to see your imaginary friend crumble to the reality of true power.”
The Jashinist slammed her hand to the ground. The ground and the walls were suddenly coated with engravings of unreadable symbols that originated from her hand. With a cloud of smoke, Takumi was surrounded by the other members of her Jashinist group. Isao, Junpei, Saiko, and Tabe all stood behind her. Mr Meowgi, too, hopped from her shoulder, morphing into a perfect clone of his master as she rose to her full height.
“My name is Takumi, and I am merely a servant of my lord Jashin. But today, for you all, I am death and I have come for you.”
With those words uttered, a wave of chakra exploded from her body, filling the room with crimson energy. This burst would collide with each member of the summit. It would hit harmlessly, but separate them randomly into three groups. “You know what to do.” She said to her squad. “Do not fail me.”
Saiko's eyes trailed over the shinobi who were present in the expansive room. It seemed there were some familiar faces amongst them, but Saiko had no inclination why that may be. Before he could think to much on it, he found Takumi was already under attack by some agents of one of the villages. The man stepped in front of Takumi to block her from the techniques as she spoke and issued her decree. The man's chakra expanded outward, surrounding one of the blades and absorbing all of the chakra within it. The other blades would find it hard to penetrate his skin as they reflected off and cracked his crystal armor. [ Crystal Armor [ Kesshō no Yoroi ] - S rank Spiritual (S+ rank vs Spiritual) ] Once the fourth umbrella agent found their mark, his crystal armor would shatter.
Saiko smiled as the crystal was quickly repurposed with a quick flick of his wrist. As the crystal flew threw the area, it would suddenly become a stream of chakra that flowed in a circle around him. Without notice this circle became an onslaught of crystal shuriken upon the agents. [ Crystal Release: Purpose [ Shoton: Mokuteki ] - S+ Rank Spiritual] The agents were put down without much resistance. With them taken care of, it seemed it was finally time to turn on the rest of the shinobi present. The man raised his head toward the sky, his mouth opening wide as he began to summon chakra above him. For many in the room it was the familiar makings of a bijuu ball. Each one fired is about 10 feet in diameter, and up to fifteen can be rapidly fired in a matter of seconds. Each uncompressed tailed beast ball can leave an impacting crater that is about five times its diameter upon anything they hit as they explode like popping bubbles, but on a far more violent scale. Should they directly impact a living thing... the damage would easily result in disintegrated bones, torn muscles, and internal organ damage if the hit were landed on the body. In most cases death would be inevitable for a direct hit to the enemy's head or in the upper torso region of the body. ●

He knew all things, inevitably, were scared and defenseless when they refused to serve Jashin or bend to His will. "Lambs." His greeting - or assessment - rolled over the room in his grumbling baritone. He could tell there were plenty of bijuu here, and he was also taking note of the fun Takumi had evidently already had without them. A dead woman in the middle of the room? That marked a Takumi party if nothing else. But he felt the heightened emotions in the room and it was no stranger to him. Mortals held such fear of Jashin and His will.
A small girl who couldn't more than a few years past being a pre-teen showed up after Takumi mentioned them...Well more or less mentioned them. "Wow, this place is nice. I kinda wanna keep it." She said aloud as she wondered at the large room that the group of them were in. Then looked over towards the people across the room. A frown showing on her face as she realized what trying to keep this place would mean. "Maaaan, cleaning all the blood up after is going to be a real pain though." She sighed, "I guess the splatter would make it look cool." She added watching as Saiko quickly dispatched a portion of the guards in the room. Tabe though was just a bystander for the time being.

A wicked smile curled slowly over the monk’s black and white face as he airily pursued the towering oni’s comment, “all for the slaughter.” The head of his Grass cutting blade falls from his right sleeve and into his palm. The span of its weighted chain plunges noisy after to the table. With a turn of his head, Isao’s pink eyes were narrowing on those surrounding the table. He couldn’t help but smile brightly, eager to see their opponents’ struggle in action. "Although if we can keep some of these little lambs whole, it would be nice. I’d like a nice flock of complementary trinkets.” For one who stood on the shorter side, Isao took a swaggering step forward like he was a hundred-feet tall. His sandal crunching on to the covered form of Kameyo. “You think they’d like to meet the pink, crown jewel of my collection?” With his free hand, the smiling monk clutched and yanked a beaded cord of his neck sporting an inscribed wooden plank. Isao tossed the trinket upward before snatching it into his grip. The wooden plank popped into a pink cloud of smoke and left a figure its fading plume: bright platinum white hair, pink eyes, and all wrapped up in a lifeless stare displaying someone that some visitors of the Citadel might have known; Lahlil. The First Hokage of the New Leaf who disappeared one month ago.
Isao couldn't help himself but laugh. Bellowing an overjoyed unbalanced uproar, "isn’t she just a doll!? I heard she’s a lot like me!” .

▱▰▱ Bane of the Immortal: In the event of Isao is dismembered he can rope his chakra strings into severed parts of his body to keep them in control. Isao's chakra emanates from the core of his body secures therefore a perpetual connection is available to keep him together, even if he looks very unsteady.
As Masato struggled to gain control over the demon chakra proceeding the purification externally, his inner world where Kurama had been contained would be open to both he and the fox. The raging inferno of flames that had contained the demon's form within him had expanded, displaying an hell-scape where Kurama stood on all fours ferally against Masato who appeared battered from combat with the raging beast. Both panted heavily as they faced off, Masato's Byaku-sharingan fixated on the fox's empty crimson eyed gaze. "Yo, Whiskers! Get it together! We're supposed to be a team. Can't you hear whats happening out there! They're splitting us up because you can't play nice!" The only answer given to this plea to Kurama would be a massive swiping claw that caused Masato to retreat backwards as the Fox charged a Bijuudama to launch at the child of Evergreen. "Graaahhhhh"Kurama retorted.
The massive ball of demonic chakra that formed in Kurama's jaws collected menacingly as Masato. As it free'd itself from the maw of the beast, Masato leapt into the air, his skin instantly burning red as his steam poured off like an aura its own. With his seventh gate active, Masato returned the ball to Kurama. This however had unknowingly activated the gate outside his subconcious and allowed Kurama's rage in the cage to grow hotter.
Despite this, he would eventually be subdued in reality. Being left to Sadayo to remove the raging chakra entity that he had only ever known to call his friend. Masato would feel Sadayo's precense in reality, knowing somehow that she had been called to sever the connection in an unfortunate turn of events. Masato looked to the Nine Tailed Fox as sighed, plopping down into a cross legged position as it snarled at him.
"Whiskers. Honestly, I don't even remember why that crazy bat even slapped you into me that day. I never asked to be partnered with you. " he paused. " Partnered. Ya know...when Sunagakure was leveled by the other beasts I was so ready to bottle each of you back up and throw you away where nobody could touch your power... but..." a single tear rolled down the man's face. The sight of this would cause a shiver to form in Kurama's movement as he had looked to attack Masato again...but hesitation crept in. "...but. You were just like me. Angry, bitter, misunderstood. Then you lent me your power. Willingly. You acknowledged me when most of the people saw me as a monster and I acknowledged you!" Memories flashed between the two as their connection to one another heightened with the veil lifting from Kurama's psyche. Their fist bump as Kurama acknowledged Masato's power while fighting against Evergreen as he was willing to die just to defeat a foe. The training they underwent together. Their struggles against the Kogarashi faction. Saving the residents of Uzugakrue from the volcanic eruptions. The fight against Sandayu and his armies. Carving out Konohagakure and rebuilding with those who stood by their side and the villagers who had come to respect and love them both. Training those who sought their power at the Senchichojo Tower. Their short but seemingly infinite friendship that had blossomed so quickly between two unlikely beings who came to respect one another.
Kurama's Form began to fade from the internal world.
Masato slammed his fist into the suggested earth beneath him as he witnessed the fox begin to turn ethereal, feeling the connection dimming. His appearance back to his base form. " GOD DAMNIT KURAMA. " Masato roared as he struggled to muster the strength to stand. The fox still paused, the rage in his eyes seeming to vanish for the moment. " I...idiot" the fox's voice echoed. In response, Masato's body moved it's own and rushed towards his friend, grasping his massive snout as he lowered his head in realization of what was happening. The soon to be former Jinchuriki laid his battle worn hand on the fox's nose. " I'm sorry it had to end like this, Kurama. I'll watch over you as long as this body of mine lasts. I swear it. I'll be sure you don't stay this way." As those words were spoken, Kurama would dissipate into motes of crimson and gold chakra, Masato's parting moment with him having passed, leaving the beast to his own raw emotions and struggles. _________
Consciousness becoming his own, the world around him screeched and caused a tense throbbing in his head as he began to recognize a familiar voice, even if he was only partially present. "S-Sadayo. " his lips forced as she buried her head on his chest to hide from the failed transfer. " He's suffering. Don't hate him. Let me..." he grumbled as he tried to muster the strength to move his body but it ached and writhed in pain. Despite surviving the loss of the massive chakra body it was clear he wasn't able to move freely. Not yet. He groaned as she may notice the tear he wept for Kurama in his inner space had been able to seep into the outer world as well.

Those within range can have this radiating fearful aura become the trigger for genjutsu, allowing genjutsu to be cast by acknowledging the user. In addition, should an opponent be targeted by a melee technique that is greater in rank than the target's body rank that target has tier two paralysis applied to their legs, requiring it to be broken by Kai equal to the user's body rank, costing the target no activation for that specific instance of kai.
• Brawler Discipline _☆Your taijutsu is just one side of your skill, as you are also versed in utilizing ninjutsu as well. Your Speed and Reflexes are moderately enhanced and you gain an additional 4 ninjutsu slots per rank. Once every other post all three of your activations in a post can be used for offensive taijutsu. Additionally, the user gains a keystone technique and two additional custom slots for taijutsu. This wasn’t good. Definitely, definitely not good. As Kurama exploded out of the Hokage’s seal, the burst of demonic chakra pushed Usagi back by inches. She held her hands up and tucked her head down to avoid any negative debris sent her way. At the same time, the Tanikage exerted her own chakra to at least protect Mikki standing behind her. Though she doubted just how much they’d be able to do against the dreaded Nine Tails. There was a corpse; there wasn’t supposed to be a corpse.
Usagi grit her teeth just as the explosion of chakra died down. Sadayo’s seal hadn’t been strong enough to contain the Kyuubi. Looking back on the puppeteers movements before she placed the seal, it came together to tell Usagi how Kurama escaped. Sadayo was no sealer, and she’d done her best. Now it would be up to the Tanikage to keep the power of the bijuu from running rampant. Chakra rolled off of her body, her energy slowly becoming visible as it shifted from its normal green color to a gold-orange. “Hey kid.” Usagi would turn her head just a little as she spoke to Mikki, revealing markings on the Kage’s face and a shift in eye color indicative of a Sage Mode. “You’re one of her guard, right? I’m going to need your help with something.”
The blonde Kage didn’t wait for an answer before she clapped her hands together. Nine wooden statues shaped like dog’s heads shot from the ground, taking formation around the reforming Kurama. Candles on each of the heads ignited with a golden flame before they stretched, latching onto and wrapping around the demon chakra. “Listen, I’d be lying to you if I said this wasn’t going to hurt. Because it will, a lot.” Wooden dogs pulled Kurama to the ground as Usagi turned to Mikki. The woman knelt down and placed a hand on the young shinobi’s stomach, looking her in the eyes as she did. “But you’re going to be given the power to protect. Protect what matters. That’s the legacy that man would have wanted." As Usagi pointed out the exhausted Masato and Sadayo, she pressed her palm to Mikki’s stomach. She let out a quick burst of chakra, forming the spiraling demon seal on the girl’s core. “Good luck.”
Usagi stepped to the side then, just as golden chains erupted from the girl’s new seal. The tendril’s of energy would clink together as they rushed down Kurama, trapping him and holding him tight. The chains would retract, pulling the Kyuubi into the girl as the demon struggled, forcing the two chakra networks to bond.
Miki had to cover her eyes as the Kurama spirit fought against it's sealing. The death of the jinchuriki. What had happened? Miki thought Sadayo would have no problems sealing that creature away. Was the Kyuubi really just that strong? Miki had too many questions and not enough answers. The girl rose her arms up to guard herself from the blast of red energy. Luckily it seemed the Tanikage had spotted her and protected her from the brunt of the attack. Miki could only wonder if she would had survived that blast had the Tanikage intervened.
"Y-Yes Tanikage." Miki could barely pull herself from her arms to face the woman. The girl was afraid, she'd never seen anything like this and now everything felt like it was falling apart. "Anything to help..." Miki forced her arms away, the kage already clapping her hands together. A familiar technique rose around the shinobi. 'Of course. I remember the tanikage being a senju. Just like me.'
Miki stood impressed as Usagi forced Kurama to the ground. "W-wait you're not going to..." Miki didn't dare move as the Tanikage completed her technique. She knew what was coming. Panic, confusion, and resolve all flashed over Miki's face in moments. When she sought out to become a shinobi, she knew duty to the village sometimes would have to come before everything else. "I'll do my best Tanikage. I'll do my best to protect them." The girl nodded, pulling her shirt aside to allow the Tanikage's seal to be placed.
The girl felt the chains erupt from her stomach toward the kyuubi. Miki twisted her feet in the dirt, wooden tendrils erupting to hold her in place. She grunted as the chains wrapped around the kyuubi and began to pull him in, her Mokuton tendrils seeming to have kept her in place as planned. The Kyuubi began to struggle more fiercely, pulling Miki forward slightly. It was clear that he wasn't going to be sealed away again without a fight. A fight that neither of the Kage present could help Miki with. It very much became a fight of the wills.
Wooden tendrils came from behind Miki and wrapped around her hands to pull her backward again. "I will not let you win." Miki muttered as she let go of the tendrils only to form handseals. Wooden dragons would erupt and wrap around the Kyuubi's spirit, pulling the Kyuubi in further. Once the two connected, the wooden constructs all turned to dust as the orange chakra began to surround Miki. The girl groaned in pain as the seal finally pulled what was left of the Kurama's chakra into her own network. The girl stood for only a moment before collapsing onto her side. "M-Mom..." The girl whispered as she passed out.
Through every conflicting passion Sadayo was being handed raged between loss and relief, the sound she swore she heard ensuing the combined pain of Kurama and Ran was frankly the sweetest. Any other instance and the sound of Masato's exhausted grumbles probably wouldn't be kindling for comfort.
And so she turned back. Just barely upright on her knees. He was still breathing and, all while her forearms were spread over him, Masato was still whole. Versus painful, fleeting images of the scene behind her that were still stuck in the foreground of her fancy, the sight in front of her was one Sadayo was more earnestly desperate to take in. Granted, looking at him, she couldn't smile or frown. At least, not profoundly in one expression or the other. The look on her face was pained, rather, and certainly so while there was still the formidable matter of furious fox chakra filling the room. However, after sowing the seeds of one error there was some hesitation in leading a second attempt. Nevertheless, there was a reason Sadayo liked cooperation so much but falling back to doing nothing was far from the case.
For the moment her role was to fill a different niche: oversee her wearied mountain man. Her ungloved hand cupped his cheek. Finally. This moment was a huge blessing in which Sadayo wanted to savor the swell of relief beside her grief. On the other hand, the warmth disseminating from his form beneath her touch wasn’t anything to scoff at. The aftermath of a fiery cage match really caught her attention. “For right now, I don’t want you to worry,” she soothed as her fingers swept over his brow and rubbed the tear away. Alone, the gates take a toll that might have been doubled up with a tailed beast causing havoc. Any worse and odds were heat exhaustion would have been guaranteed to join the mix. Honestly, there wasn’t much to do on the fly aside from hydrating and cooling down to subdue just some of the damage. One hand met his neck for a pulse. The other palmed the loose folds of her cloak and began fanning him.[E-rank : medic mission]
The scene behind her was hard enough to listen to let alone know it was happening. She had honestly missed the sight of Usagi’s arrangement of wooden statues and glowy golden chakra. While Miki suffering that was difficult to watch, however, the puppeteer’s pride wouldn’t let her see the grand spectacle. Instead, her attention was divided between sounds, traces of light, and one wearied ex-jinchuuriki. The anguish on her face instead wrinkled into a warm, pitying smile. “Besides,” she whispers, and begins to smooth clumps of black hair away from his face for a moment’s pause pressing over his left temple. “We’ll still have him with us for a while longer.”
Like pins and needles. As much as Sadayo didn’t want to part from Masato’s side, the impromptu host needed her too. In short, she bit her lip and held off her fanning long enough to spring a second clone. This clone climbed up from her knees to race to meet Miki. The response stirred ash in her wake. In lieu of latent, loving sentiments there were other means of remorse in Sadayo’s reply. She knelt beside Miki’s fallen form. It was guilt guiding the clone’s ice cold fingers against Miki’s neck. It was a tormenting worry taunting her thoughts as she counted the girl’s pounding pulse. “You poor thing,” she said and sighed, “fresh into the warring world too.”Likewise, there wasn’t much else she could do here either. It took all her courage for this clone to raise her head with Miki’s pulse fluttering under her fingertip.“I must look useless now,” self, inflexible criticism with a fairly firm delivery. Something skirting the heels of mellowed ire. Then the other clone spoke: the Sadayo busily fanning over Masato. She wasn’t angry like the double brooding over Miki. Sober but tied up in the sappier side of being grateful to someone, “I’m indebted to you for handling that. Maybe a little more than you might know.” Sadayo even smiled for a few seconds with her attention finally peeling onto Usagi. It was sincerest gratitude from both a personal and professional angle. Valley was scantily the Leaf’s ally. Sadayo had never met a Valley ninja before today and one was already doing so much for her. Usagi was mending a Leaf village legacy of taming and nurturing the Nine Tailed Fox. It was an act rightfully worthy of paving a future forward as allies. “I only wonder now what to do with these two. I have a…” She slunk into a pause and heaved a look to ceiling above them, ”...a bad feeling that we aren’t safe here. He needs to get somewhere cool and properly hydrated.” Just when all sounded well again, the woman’s sights set onto Masato and her demeanor dipped as if taking a stern, sweeping nose dive. “And I mean being properly hydrated. Guzzling down water will make you sick!” Her manner regarding, however, Miki was warm and soothing again, “then I can’t leave Miki alone. Getting them home would be better in the long run.”
__ Ada gladly engaged in conversation with the Empress when the moment permitted, but those moments ceased over the span of the ongoing talks. She was ever proud of her proactive husband. This momentous meeting could not have come to pass had he chosen any lesser path. It was quite hard for her to refrain from the ongoing diplomacy. She found herself feeling the turn of the knife with her fellow countrymen as Satoshi claimed to have vital resources to deal with the rising Jashinist threat, demanding they ignore him and a whole nation now under his infantile reign. His demands were only logical to the desperate, and that was who he sought. The restrained details of Satoshi's supposed confrontation with an avatar of Jashin left her evermore skeptical. 'Nonsense.' Ada thought as Arashikage Miyuki made a more than valid point about leaving any population under this madman's sovereign. To her surprise, Empress Unki chose to accept these terms and his majesty's complicit silence made it clear where the Empire stood. "Your highness, are you certain?" She directed a question, realizing only too late that she'd merely mumbled since briefly losing her composure. Drawing lines in the sand when such a small opposition dared use coercion simply didn't sit well with Ada. Who could say what Satoshi could be scheming with the resources of a nation at his fingertips? 'This manchild is surprisingly sharp despite not being in his right mind.' Her gaze shifted to Kenshin who had also given her highness rightful chance to dictate, and she could tell that he was at least as dissatisfied as she was about the futility of Satoshi's bargain. However, he did not object. Rather, he mediated with compromise. She strongly doubted that Kenshin had fallen for Satoshi's ploy, yet he accommodated it all the same.
"Why would-" Ada began to stand with her objection, but an unfamiliar and ill-toned voice rang out over the calming discussions. The woman who so callously approached the group just oozed villain in ways which even Antioch would probably give commentary. Her attention focused on this impending threat and prepared to summon her composite sands to protect Shiro and Unki. "X." The blue metal man appeared out of thin air beside Ada on cue, "We will their majesties to safety. Emperor Shiro, please leave this to them." X quickly nodded and would cover the imperial family with a chakra shield if any danger made it past Ada while they retreated from the room.
