“So, uh... I guess I probably owe you this,” Kursha said, fishing (with his fingers and not explosives) a makeshift coupon out of his pocket. He offered it to Volkei and Demari all the while averting his eyes. He was too embarrassed to face them properly. He continued, sheepish,
“You both set up some amazing booths. I'm really impressed.”He meant it. What wasn't impressive though? Blowing up one of said booths and half the lake with it. Actually scratch that, blowing up half the lake was cool, but that was bragging rights for another time. He knew that much at least.
“Look...” Kursha breathed. He ran a hand through his hair, and finally mustered up the nerve to look Demari in the eye.
“I wanna make it up to you, so... how about...” He hesitated for a second. What did kids their age like? He knew what
he would have liked, but that seemed in poor taste, circumstances considered.
“I help you out with a booth next year? Or...”Man, this was way harder than it should have been.
