Cherry smiles a little,"I couldn't agree more this is so much better. Still, I really want to add a little something, mind if I do?" She had just what she needed in her bag, some waterproof colorful paper. She thought that the paper wouldn't sink if she made some paper flowers out of it. Still, the paint job was done nicely so best not to mess with it if she told not to.
Other then the fountain Cherry didn't really seem to interested in other things. She did know that Lena was small and sitting on Oto's shoulder and it seemed to Cheery she should leave the two of them alone but she really had nothing better to do.

Lena watched the flower floating. It was a nice touch. "It’s nice." She looked to Oto and shrugged. "I’m a Wasp Faunus. So a rare type. I was adopted by the Oxtons, one of the richest families in Vale and Tech Moguls. I was adopted because the media was running a story and they looked bad. I was then adopted. When they had another bad press week they announced me working for the company. Their I developed my harness. Another bad press work I’m here." Sighing she laid back down on Oto's shoulder. "Lena Oxton, PR Circus."

Amélie Lacroix -
Amélie walked into the courtyard. The teacher and sniper had her rifle in hand. Looking at the students before she gave a loud whistle. "Alright listen up. Defenders, defense team, whatever you wish to call yourself. This is your operation, I’m here to assist." She looked at the students, giving a nod before turning the smoke. Moving to a higher spot in the area.

Handling the rich and powerful wasn’t a foreign concept to the young mercenary. The past that Lena spoke of was not a foreign concept, and although Oto may not have lived the pampered lifestyle that is afforded by being the daughter of a wealthy businessman, the huntress in training knew first hand exactly what such a life entailed. It seemed from her experience that, without fail, there was never any parallel to the lives of those in children’s tales. Still reluctant to share her musings, Oto chose instead to keep quiet and listen. Though she still knew very little about the Faunus, the fact of the matter was that they were teammates. The fates had brought them together, and Oto hoped that in time she would be able to allow herself to trust in Lena.
Oto turned her attention to the young student that offered to add some artistic last touches to Lena’s vandalism. ”With Ms. Lacroix and her crosshairs, I wouldn’t hedge my bets…” Oto suggested to Cherry, quietly. It seemed Cherry’s was a face that Oto could recognize as having seen once or twice, but never someone that she had properly interacted with in her time at Beacon. Extending a hand out to the girl, Oto did her best to appear as friendly as she could. ”I’m Oto, by the way. Oto Tachibana.”
Things in the courtyard were quiet thus far. With the assault team heading into the sewers, and the escape team already left for the mine in the outskirts, all was looking pretty normal for the teams left behind in the courtyard. Unfortunately, that's exactly when things usually had the tendency to go wrong. The first sign of trouble was a singular bullet whizzing through the air. It flew past the little blue haired girl, straight past her cheek and whistling through her pale locks. It was only a couple inches off aim. Two inches to the right and it would have buried itself into her forehead. It was silent for a moment. The birds had stopped singing. Even the playful breeze of the wind seemed to stop. It was like the entire world was holding it's breath. Then, without warning, another bullied was unleashed, cutting through the silence as it hurtled towards a dark haired girl, Oto.
Lena was about to say more when she a 'crack'. It wasn’t the first one the second was what got her, to which she jump jetted and pushed Oto aside. It wouldn’t feel like much, just someone shoving her. "SNIPER!" Being an inch tall she moved to small cover. Looking around for another sniper shot.

Amélie Lacroix -
Amélie immediately move down to cover upon hearing the first shot. When the second come she was in her nest and zeroed in. She caught the smoke and fired a round towards the sniper. Turning to smoke she moved towards her secondary position. Zeroing in once more after returning to her physical state she waited, changing to a tracking round to reveal the snipers position. "Fire again my little flie."
Honestly flying is the worst. It's the whole reason why I went by land from Atlas in the first place. Of course that was before everything started turn to into it's absolutely dismal state. Had Ii known things were to go to rubbish like they did, I might've braved the long flight... Ren hadn't enjoyed his transport flight to the school and was glad to once again feel solid ground beneath his feet. Still, I suppose i'll have to get accustomed to flying sooner or later...Ren was walking through the halls, He was somewhat hastily dropped off by Angela and really didn't have too clear an idea what was going on aside from a sniper had been spotted somewhere.
Ren's stomach growled like a wild beast in hunger as he approached the entrance to the courtyard. ... ... ...How unbecoming. I should ask someone where the cafeteria is. Ren stepped through the threshhold of the courtyard and looked around as he walked towards what appeared to be a defased fountain, it was painted in a clashing pair of orange and blue colors. How gaudy...
He spotted what he assumed was a student and shouted towards them as he walked. "Excuse me, Could you tell me where the cafeteria is? Also, I heard there might've been some situation with a sniper. Could i get some more info on that possibly like where it might be so I can be careful and not caught off guard?"
A gin shoot things were getting interesting and ducks for cover and starts to summon on of her drawings. This would leave her open for attacks but she hoped she was at a good hiding place behind the fountain. She dips her brush into an air elemental dust as she summons out a little bird. The air dust gave it the power to fly.
Scouting wasn't hard but she didn't know what she was looking for she just sends the bird off to look for the shooter. if she was lucky the bird might find something before it fades away.
It didn't take long for Ren to realize the situation as he noticed everyone taking cover and realized the boner he had just committed.
"Ohhhhh..." was all he managed to say at this realization. As he was about to pivot step and return the way he came, he spotted it, his current objective, the cafeteria at the far side of the court yard. or at least a sign indicating where it was over there.
Ren quickly took cover behind one of the large pillars that lined the pathway and readied himself. From a starting position, Ren dashed towards the center of the courtyard. while he may not have been strong, he was proud of how fast he was. "well, they'll either shoot at me and give away their position, or they'll let me go unharassed..."
Ren was not prepared, Bullets rained down upon him from multiple directions as his adrenaline surged beyond normal limits, propelling him forward faster than he had ever run, the bullets impacting closer and closer with each shot. he couldn't turn back or risk losing speed by changing direction, it was all or nothing...
In desperation, Ren did a powerslide towards the base of a tree near the center of the courtyard, he felt a bullet narrowly miss the top of his head as his profile dropped during the slide. Ren's momentum propelled him forward making him collide in an almost haphazard manner with the base of the tree, stopping at just the point where his profile was flush with it. he heard the splintering of wood as more bullets chewed into the tree.
"Ah... Hahh.... Hah....Ah-About halfway there then..." he said as he gasped for air. were it not for the adrenaline rush he was experiencing, he'd probably be screaming.
Thanks to a shove from a tiny insect Faunus, the bullet meant for Oto whizzed harmlessly past the both of them, colliding into the pavement. It was silent again as students ducked for cover. As Cherry summoned her little bird and sent it to the skies, another bullet shot through the air, aiming for a bird. Only this bullet came from a different direction, meaning either the sniper had a way to teleport, or the sniper was in fact multiple snipers. It was still too soon to tell.
Moments later another student entered the scene. He hesitated for a moment, until he too realized just what was happening. Once he did he moved quickly across the cement. He was faster than normal yet a trail of bullets followed after his steps. Each one came just a little closer to hitting him, bouncing of the pavement and pillars around him, before finally burying themselves into the tree he hid behind.
Renier's plan for a distraction just might have worked, had it been just a single sniper capable of teleportation. However, as bullets followed his his dash across the courtyard, there was a strike that came from yet another direction. Bullets were aimed at the teacher assisting the mission as well as the rest of the students in the courtyard. It was hard to say how many snipers were hidden from their view, but it could be assumed there were at least three.

Entering the courtyard of the school, Z looked up to see the entire building being left in shock. So this was where Dusk had been staying for the whole time. He knew she was lucky, but this lucky?! This Plasencia was virtually like ten villages in one whole area. Whoa... it’s so huge. Z said, until he heard a bullet whizz by. It was something he didn’t expect until he saw the students around him were hiding in out behind any form of cover as bullets were being indiscriminately fired at anyone in the vicinity. s**t! Dusk get down! Zed would say to her, completely changing his demeanor to something serious. As it turned out, maybe Zed shouldn’t have come here. Too late now. He needed to protect her like he used to as a kid. It was when it started coming back to him. A flashback of what he said back as a kid which would have put his disguise at risk. If anyone tries to give you trouble, they gotta go through me, okay? Zed would say to her, as he would protect her with his body. What he did know is that wherever the sniper is had to have been on a tall platform to be able to shoot at them without getting caught. Zed would then draw his weapon in the form of his gun and aim up to wherever he would possibly see the reflection of a glass somewhere. Any indication that would stand out showcasing anything of a gun.

So there was an attack at school seemed like they needed help, this should be fun. She was about to run into the fight but Z stopped her and said something Zed would say often it used to be nice but now it made her feel weak, "I don't need someone to protect me." She says trying to learn the spot of even one shooter, "What I need is a partner or team." she adds in a whisper. She would keep her distance till she needed to get closer. "To bad, we can't get them to take out each other, but luckily no one seems to be shoot."

𝓩𝔂𝓵𝓪𝓱 ✴ 𝓐𝓽𝓵𝓮𝔂
She always had that look about her, that look of otherness... ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Unlike most of the students at Beacon, Zylah was not surprised to here the gunshots ricocheting through the courtyard. Nor was she concerned by the prospect of the attack on the school. Unbeknownst to everyone here, including the headmaster himself, the silvery haired girl was not exactly who she claimed to be. Sure, she hadn't lied about her name, or even her background... well, not all of it at least. According to her paperwork she was a transfer student, just out of some regular old high school in Vale. However, she'd managed to pass the tests and get into Beacon anyway, a bit of a wonder really, but it had fooled the staff anyway. In reality, the paperwork was forged...
Zylah had been sent here from the Tribe. The notorious villainous group that hated the faunus and had been relentlessly attacking Beacon. The girl had been a part of the tribe for several years now. She had trained here and there, which gave her the skills needed to pass the Beacon Entrance exams. She had helped where she could. Which is why she was here in the first place. A second set of eyes, an agent on the inside, whatever you wanted to call it. That was her responsibility now. She didn't necessarily agree with all of the Tribe's believes. She didn't disagree either. Sure, Zylah didn't like the faunus, but she didn't really like humans either. She didn't really like anyone. Her mistrust and hate was equal. Not a human vs faunus thing. Just a people thing. The only reason she was with the Tribe to begin with was because they had acted as a sanctuary to her after years of what she couldn't possibly describe as anything but absolute hell. Their hideout had been like a home... so while she might not strictly agree with her racism... she wasn't against helping them out. If for no other reason than to keep her place within the group, as she had no where else to go.
Currently the girl was watching the attack from a distance, sitting cross-legged behind a pillar with her chin resting upon her elbows; an almost-bored expression plastered across her face. She had been considering whether she should join the other students or not. A large part of her was tempted to continue enjoying the sunshine and enjoy the show, but she figured that might look a bit suspicious. Besides, it wouldn't hurt to go join the game and have a little fun. A soft whisper of breath passed through her lips as she pushed herself into a standing position, reaching a very impressive five feet flat, shebegan striding, nearly skipping, towards the courtyard. Short and rather petite, Zylah was a fragile looking thing. She almost looked like you might be able to snap her in half if you hugged her too hard. Her appearance was also rather deceiving. A sweet face with a tiny little voice too match. With that playful little smirk of hers, she didn't exactly look like villain material.
The girl made her way across the courtyard, a slight skip to her step. She maneuvered in a way that almost looked like a dance, avoiding bullets with a flurry of twists and turns. The expression on her face was hardly concerned. Were it not for the sniper shots flying past her, someone might simply think she was caught up in a carefree dance. If she were going to actually help the students, even if it were just to avoid suspicion, she had to get close neither her weapon or her semblance did her much of any good from a distance. She stopped behind a pillar, just adjacent from a large tree that was currently acting as a shield for a blonde male. Cocking her head slightly to one side, she winking at him with big blue eyes. Well, the one that wasn't hidden by her hair anyway. "Who ever said school was boring? First day here and the first task of the day is a sniper attack." She teased, letting out a soft melodic laugh.

Ren had caught his breath, he had a look on his face that said he was already 110 percent done with today.
While still taking cover behind the tree, Ren pulled his toolkit off his back, Twisting the large Larinet crest logo on it 180 degrees to open the mechanism. the clicks of locks throughout the toolkit could be heard as it slowly opened, showing a vast array of pristine tools and containers of reagents and chemicals.
"Assaulted by staff... Riding in that transport... shot at by snipers...-"
His stomach roared audibly again.
AND I STILL HAVEN'T EVEN HAD BREAKFAST YET!...
he pulled out several small grenades and a bag of hard candies, butterscotch if the label was to be believed. He then proceeded to take out a knife and scraped some bark off of the tree.
OH IF FATHER COULD SEE ME NOW HE'D BE LAUGHING AT ME!!!...
He paused for a moment.
well... most likely not... never even so much as cracked a smile with me in the room...
He seemed to shrug off the thought as he put the bark, and a handful of the candies into a small electric grinder and turned it on, and illuminated timer could be seen on it counting down. While that was working, Ren quickly disassembled the grenades and poured the gunpowder into a small mixing bowl.
Ren suddenly noticed the girl that had seeming appeared next to him and jumped backwards while a loud Gah! escaped his mouth. He felt another round whiz by his head the moment it was exposed from cover and quickly pulled himself back behind it.
When did you get there?!... Wait... How did you get there?! Ren asked incredulously. Apparently he had not heard a single word she said.
He jumped again slightly as the grinder dinged that it was complete and his focus returned back to whatever it was he was doing. the smell of sawdust and butterscotch wafted from the grinder as he opened it and poured it into the bowl of gunpowder and began mixing it. After a few seconds, he stopped and pulled a couple small containers of some sort of powdered chemicals and mixed a little bit of each into the bowl and resumed mixing.

With the raining gunfire that polluted the peace and quiet of the courtyard, Oto was caught off guard when a bullet whirred straight towards her. Unable to grasp at the situation in time, she was thankful when her Faunus companion gently shoved her out of the bullet’s path. In the blink of an eye, the girl reached for her weapon, unleashing it from its folded position. ”Take cover, stay alert. Until we can find out where they are, we’re just free targets if we’re out in the open.” Ducking behind the fountain, Oto kept her chakram close, ready to respond as she slowly circled around while tracing the trajectory paths of the bullets.
Lena shrugged at the thought of cover. She was smallest, and hardest, thing to hit in the courtyard. Using her jet to get around she counted two flashes, but had heard more than that. With one of them being them being the teacher she deduced maybe three shooters. Spraying a quick '3?' in the neon blue she kept moving, Creeping her way up to where the first one would be. She needed to be careful and very quick.

Amélie Lacroix -
Amélie's smile grew as she heard more rounds fired. Firing her first shot it would land if the enemy sniper didn’t roll away, though it wouldn’t hurt they would be seen by everyone. Turning to smoke she moved to another location. Firing a quick shot before moving to another spot. The second and third snipers had higher chances of the rounds missing them do to the swift nature of the shots. The smoke cloud would return to the first location she picked. This spot having good vision on the first and second sniper.
