Had been and given time for them to have long since moved in with their lives.

Joy recognized the words Kade said but one just sort of didn't make sense to her. "What do you mean by pan? Like, you're a baker and a cook too?" For a long moment Kade stared queerly at Joy like he couldn't quite comprehend what he'd meant by pansexual. "Nooooo..." he drew the word out while thinking how to not be a complete and total a*****e. "It's a sexuality. You've got homosexuals, who like their same gender. Heterosexuals, who like the opposite gender. Bisexuals like both mainstream genders but there's also pansexuals, like me. We don't care if you're male, female, bigender, agender, transgender. I really like trans girls who've had top surgery but still use their dicks. It's great."

"Have you ever been with two people at once who were in a relationship and consented to it? If so, what position would you take in such an event?" WTF was wrong with her asking somehing like that. She just kept thinking of how Terry looked at Melvin that one time she saw them in the same area.

Kade might as well have been speaking in a different language because a lot of those terms just went over her head. And the confused, and completely not getting it look on Joy's face was not going away.
"Can you repeat that? But, like, in smaller words?" she asked, looking embarrassed and apologetic, like a kid who just got called by the teacher to answer a problem she couldn't even read. She wouldn't blame him if he didn't, it was less like a question and more a request after all, loopholes and whatnot existed didn't they?

Sam didn't seem to mind, although fashion wasn't exactly in the front of her book of knowledge. "Fashion, fashion, fashion," she muttered to herself in thought. "I'm not particular. 1880s women's dresses are nice enough, I suppose, but I wouldn't want to go through the bother of wearing them. I'll clarify: the aesthetics trumps the need to wear them. I'm comfortable with the Deus uniform."

Nah it's all Henna, so basicly when I get bored and they fade I welcome people to doodle on me. I do plan to get a few real ones when I have time and find someone able to do it. Maybe then I will get something meaningful. For now though... I am a human doodle board."

Kim would walk around stopping at each wearer of the ring as she saw them and ask. "Who is your Daddy and what does he do?" It was a corny like from a cornier movie, but it would open dialog with others. She hoped.
