"It is what she told me" he explain, not wanting to voice his own fears or worries and just keep her holding on to that hope. He was taken aback at how quickly she accepted it, it was something he felt was a mistake even when working for her favor. Nodding silently he headed back toward the door and allowed her the moment to gather herself, reminded a little of Ree and the voice he heard.
Taking a stepp out of the door he waited for her outside and motion back the way he came before glaceing back at her and stopping. "...or not" he said quietly frowning but glad the bodies weren't there any more. She still had a chance? but after so many years did she? Was this place even linear? Still a chance her child was not dead unlike Hexxis.... her older self at least. "There is a door" he said moving ahead of her this time and opening it, power at ready to form a shield encase he needed to use them.

Kaizer was reluctant, but she had to keep moving. That's how it always was. She had hope that who he spoke to was Hoku, there was a chance that wasn't real too, but it seemed, that there were still possibilities out there.
As Tri mentioned a door, she turned back around to see the vine-covered door. She glanced back at Tri before moving to the door and almost opening it but knocked first.
The sound of several locks unlocking could be heard before the door creaked open softly, inside looked like a normal old home made of wood and other plant life. Vines and flowers lined the walls, but no one was inside. That was, until a voice called out softly. "...j-just get inside..." It would seem Gaia was hiding behind the door nervously.
Kaizer hesitantly entered the home and frowned, turning to look at her, finally seeing her. "...hoku?..."
Gaia tensed and looked down, frowning. "...Kaizer... I'm not Hoku... not anymore... I am Gaia."
"I.. don't understand."
"Do you remember....when the war machine came... and... and we had no other choice."
Kaizer, held onto the necklace around her throat. "..y-yeah.."
"I made a pact with a demon..."
"But you didn't kill anyone!"
"I did..."
Kaizer stared at her, confused and concerned. "...who..."
"Myself... The Hoku you knew... died that day. To stop the war machine. I... I rewrote everything... I made everything the way it is now... The way.. Mr. Luz knows it as...But... it didn't stop the wars... Haven fell through the cracks... and now Valentein." Gaia appeared sad and a bit distressed.
Kaizer was silent, trying to process everything that she was being told. "...what about the others?... Damius, Dexter... Arksis...Felix...Ayden..." her voice cracked, "...zahara..."
"They are gone... I looked for them, but they.. no longer exist."
"And what about me!! I'm here, why am I the only one that's still here??!" she exclaimed suddenly, stepping toward Hoku.
Gaia took steps back as far into the corner she could manage behind the door before sliding to the ground. "..I don't know..." she whimpered softly. "...Valentein.. she's... she's messed up everything... Things are happening that I cannot control and it's her fault...." she confessed and kept her head down nervously.
Kaizer frowned and sighed. "...you really aren't the Hoku I knew..."

Tri blinked as she moved ahead of him, he only frowned but said nothing, was just prepared then. He stared as he heard a chorus of locks unlocking nearly at the same time, eyeing the room warily he searched for the girl he had seen earlier as the door open. When the girl spoke to them on the other side of the door he relaxed and followed in after Kaizer.
Inside he stared between them in complete confusion. War machine? Haven? The subject was completely beyond him as he listened to the conversation. However when Kaizer took a step forward to Gaia he rest his hand on her shoulder "She's scared already" he warned her softly and dropped his arm, blinking as he watched a black wing cat hobble out from under one of the chairs, there was obviously something wrong to the entire right side of its body but its entire focus was to make its way to Gaia and plop down by her.

Kaizer sighed and glanced to Tri before frowning even deeper at Gaia. "I'm sorry..." she muttered and took a step back, looking down.
Gaia noticed the cat and outreached hands to pick him up and cradle him in her arms out of comfort. She frowned. "I understand... I'm sorry that circumstances changed... I'm... I want to help you... however I can." she spoke softly. She slowly came to a stand, moving to carefully shut the door, all the locks sliding into place, she kept to the corner out of nervousness. This had really been the first visitors she had invited into her home besides the cat. It was strange and she was trying to adjust.
Kaizer just moved to sit at the table in the room, trying to just think for now.
Gaia looked to Tri and took a breath to try to steady herself. "...you said... you had questions..." she thought back on his inquiries, petting the cat as she contemplated. "Hexxis... it depends on what of her you are look for..." she opened her mouth to speak then blinked and hummed in thought. "You mean the child that was taken... Tendren took her. He's holding her in one of his labs... however, she is trapped in a dream. Her instructions are clear, and if completed she will simply wake up again. If she fails to complete tasks laid out for her, she will never wake up again." she explained with a frown. "...Ree... he's... uhm.... it also depends on what part you speak of... his body and pieces of his spirit are in different places. His body, resides in Belosh. His spirit..." she made a soft hum and sighed. "That's up to him if he wants to show himself to you..." Taking another breath, she continued. "As for Valentein and Tendren.... hmm... Tendren wished you to complete an elder quest... and that is what you are doing now. He will leave you alone when you've completed it. As for Valentein..." she paused, thinking on it. "I can give you my protection. From what I can gather of what you told me, it is quite possible the magic's of the old world can still harm her. So as accustom to our ways... I will make a pact with you. Nothing dangerous... You will just have that bit of power to you that could hurt her. You'll even be able to have a connection to this place..." she paused. "You do not have to ever come here." she spoke quickly, not so sure on how well she liked him being able to knock on her door. "But there comes a price... that price is your goal. You will have my protection as long as you continue toward your goal. If you fail your goal, you lose the connection. No harm done. But she will be able to hurt you again." she frowned, "You just have to tell me your goal in life. That's all."

Tri blinked as he expected them to continued talking, he wasn't sure how he felt knowing that the world have been to utterly changed from what Kaizer has described. Was it possible or was he still just dreaming? He truly did not have a clue at this point.
At the mention of Hexxis he focused intently on her with a sick feeling in the bottom of his stomach. "What of her?" he asked quietly, he still did not know how she came back and....she could tell him couldn't she?
At the mention of Tendren and what he did he narrowed his eyes and bristled his feathers in anger. To force him into this quest ... when he had clearly declined. That was going to be dealt with..and the danger he put Hexxis into...
"Where is his lab? and what do you mean what part of her? Does it have something to do with how she was brought back? how was she brought back?" he blinked and closed his mouth, trying to calm down before he repeated what Kaizer had just done.
At the mention of Ree and something similar he tense even more. "Where in Belosh? and what do you mean reveal himself? has he been following me?" he looked around but that was pointless, if Ree was around he had not felt it this entire time.
At the mention of Tendren again he narrowed his eyes, right...interference will end since he started this quest of his but it won't finish with that, that he was sure off.
When it turned to Valentein the anger was still there but confusion as well. Why was she offering hospitality into her home whens he looked like she didn't wish it... and a pact? He looked tensed but the ability to harm Valentin...keep her away from Hexxis and Ree was to tempting even if this dream was not true it was tempting after attacking her and doing nothing. He didn't want to feel that helpless again. Being out maneuver is different than being unable to completely harm her. What would be his goal then? Right he always wanted to be useful...always doing what he has done even until now "...To protect the ones I love" he said softly before frowning. "If I had chosen a goal that could actually have been completed instead of on gong..what would have happened? "
The cat purred softly in Gaia's arms, looking at Tri, shaking its good paw in his direction before purring louder. Wondering why they were so serious.

Gaia nodded quietly. "In Aldas... [street & street]. I can send you there, but it won't do more than retrieve her body. I could also send you to the dream she's in to help her. From there, you will both wake up. You will wake up somewhere between Belrad and Sanctuary. And she will wake up in Aldas."
"Yes. The way she is now... her soul is incomplete but that won't change anything. Valentein brought her back... the part of her that wanted to return. There's no other strings on that mess, I assure you she quickly dropped her off at the nearest Haven facility and turned her back on that. She's the reason why Hexxis remembers nothing of SIU, and she won't ever remember her old life. She really is a fresh start. Why Valentein would do it, I don't know." she explained more in depth.
"[street & street]. That's where he is located at this moment. As for his spirit, I'm not sure you'd recognize him anymore as he is.... No..." she sighed and frowned and looked down at the cat she was petting. "He has been following me..."
When he spoke his goal, she nodded. Taking a slow breath, glowing wings emerged gently from her back among her hair. She moved to seemingly pluck a feather from her ethereal wing and stepped to Tri carefully, honestly afraid of him. "You simply would lose the power upon completion. The contract is used to serve a goal and help you reach it. So as long as you strive for the goal, you will have this." she explained then reached her hand to his chest, the feather absorbing into him, where it entered upon his chest would be the marking of Gaia. A symbol of proof of his connection with her. "You and I are as one." she muttered softly then stepped back, making sure the cat was secured in her grasp the whole time.

Tri shook his head as he memorized the address. "No..I'll go get her body first, waking her secondary" he said quietly, shifting his weight slight as if wanting to leave now that he had an address. At the mention of everything else he stopped and stared with a frown "Valentein...brought her back. " he repeated not even sure how or why anything like this has happened. This started as Ree's crazy dream...was he dreaming it as well? or reality. It was starting to bother him, just like when he saw all those souls fighting each other at the Scar.
"What happen to the rest of her soul?" he added taking a deep breath and trying to just keep calm. Wondering why Gaia was so sure there were no strings attached.
At the mention of Ree he nodded and memorized the address only to look confused as he followed her gaze to the cat. "Ree.......?" he looked alarmed, he wasn't here though. Just like Hexxis..he would not be here.....but if he didn't believe that then why would he believe anything else like the addresses? It was getting complected.
His thoughts stopped abruptly as his attention was caught by her wings and approach. Holding still so not to frighten her more, he held off the urge to step back and question what she was going to do. The instinct to do so was nearly overpowering as he followed the path of the feather with his gaze. As it touched his chest he closed his eyes and took a a deep breath, feeling a rush of warmth throughout him originating frowm the place the feather touched. Raising his hand to the place he opened his eyes and looked askance at what just happened. "Are as one?" he asked a little out of breath.
The cat purred softly, tail twitching slightly as it tried to understand what was happening. Gaia was here and so was Tri, Zira was missing but that was okay...but Tri never came here. He looked confused and worried.
When they went toward Tri he snagged his jacket with a paw, didn't pull try to get it off. Only looking up at Gaia then Tri and closing its eyes at the petting. It was content.

"Once you return to the living world, you can do nothing to aid her within her dream. Keep that in mind. But I am able to send you back at any time." she reminded and sighed.
"Yes, she probably thought it would be funny to watch you despair of her past self while dealing with her new self." she paused and frowned. "The rest of her soul rests.... and refuses to come back. She doesn't want to inconvenience anyone by existing again. The rest of her is unaware of the child you care for now."
She merely nodded as he addressed Ree, petting the cat while focused on Tri.
"...I don't know... formality I suppose... Its what they said to us when we made pacts. Except I won't be residing within you. I will be right here, but you will still have a connection with me."
"Back in our time, you had to make a sacrifice to make the pact. Luckily, you don't have to kill someone for magic."
Gaia merely nodded in acknowledgement to Kaizer's statement.

Tri looked hesitant as he weighed the decision then shook his head as he kept one hand on his chest. "I would be useless in a dream" he said truthfully, he could barely wake up from his own nightmares and wasn't even sure if all if this wasn't a dream. "However, I can get her from where she and take her somewhere safe. From there I know someone who should be able to dreamwalk, he might be able to help her " he said quietly.
Tri just frown at Valentin's goal, he was lucky then that she choose to mention Zeph and the point of Hexxis's life that he hated the most. The one he barely knew and while he felt guilt for being unable to help her he could only focus on Zeph and the culmination of her downfall with that single ring. She sounded happy but she had been lied to her entire life.
At the mention of her soul he looked alarmed, confused then griefstricken. He seen the spirits, then there was Ame. Was the pull between them was so great? He could not fantom why she would be so attached to someone who barely did anything for her. Yet part of her was back.. he had a second chance but he could not forget that half if her did not want to return. If the pull was so much...he cou-.... no. Could he watch her return fully with all her memories only to return to Zeph, the one who was there when she died and lived? Then she would only return to join the Mafia where Zeph was right now. She would still be torn and so would he, unless she forgot all about him. He sighed softly, wings dropping down slightly as he lifted his gaze to stare at the cat..no...Ree?
"Yet she could return?" He asked softly then sighed. "Why did half of her return at all?" He sounded sad, trying to understand as he reached out to lightly brush his fingers over the cat's head. To return her then sent her off to Simco to be killed...what had backfired in Valentin's plan and why were Hexxis and Ree so connected to her?
He nodded at the rest, forcing his thoughts away from the past but the image of Hexxis death still haunted him, would continue to do so and after what he saw with Kai it was fresh on his mind. "You said he follows you...why?" He asked quietly. "Ree?" He muttered watching the cat look up at him meow then go back to laying its head in the crook of Gaia's arm. He felt a surge of helplessness at that, even here he was...damaged. "Is there anyway I can help him?" He motioned to Ree. "Anyway to return him to how he used to be?" remember the extent of the damage the doctor told him was there, that he was alive and even reacting was a miracle. "Also... Why did you help make us? What was your goal? And...what did you want us to be?" He looked up at Gaia serious and sad, wanting to know even I felt he was not the type to ponder to much over it..he was here he would not squander the opportunity.
Looking up he finally rested his gaze of Kaizer as they spoke of the time before. "I ...am glad things are not as they were. Why happened to change it...and what will you do now?" He asked quietly, wondering at that. Everyone who used magic before was a murderer with the exception of Gaia...he didn't even want to think of all the problems from before.

"If that is how you feel. I am only giving you options. She needs to complete the tasks there in. And one can only hope Valentein will not get involved now for my interference in her games." she sighed softly. She nodded to his plan, that could work, so she would not contest it, it was his decisions after all.
"She could. But she does not want to. Insists on staying dead... She could not find a good reason in which to return so she will not."
She looked down to the cat and frowned, "I don't know... he came to me like this... and wanted to play... so we do." she explained before looking up at him. "I am sure... that I can fix him... but I was afraid to interfere. It would throw off balance. In the way that things weren't meant to be." she tried her best to reason why she hadn't fixed him when she had the power to do so.
"As for why I made you... I felt responsible that I could not stop the great war from happening... at least the one you would remember. So many races were wiped out or forced to endangerment. I wanted to help the scientists rebuild what was lost so that order could be restored. But that was a mistake. Dr. Kae did not succeed in my goal, she tarnished it, that is why your race are imperfect from true races, but a gift came from the same mistake. A new race with new possibilities. While the older races were not repopulated, the Meta race could be the link between humans and true races.... at least I had hoped."
"I don't know what changed... but it seems Ho-...Gaia, rewrote the world with her pact. In hopes no one would have to suffer like we did. But, from what I can tell, that did nothing to stop it. It just has a new name and face now, but it's all still the same."
Gaia nodded, "This is correct."
"What will I do?" she ran a hand through her hair. "I guess I'll stay with Gaia and figure out what I can do from here."

Tri frowned and nodded as that plan was set "Another question along the same line. Where is Tendren?" Wanting to know where the Shadow that started this mess was.
At the mention of Hexxis other half he looked pained again but nodded, he could not reach her before, had no idea how to reach her. Her conundrum was between two people while one wanted nothing to do with the other. She was dead ....that even part of her was back was a miracle ...even if from an unlikely source.
Looking down at Ree he listened quietly, reaching out to fully scratch along his head with a pain look as he listened. It was to be expected ..at least she had answered his questions and gave him a chance to defend against Valentin if needed. "...Then is there something or one on Treterra who could?" His mind more on other metas and it was a far fetched chance anyways. ".....I am sorry if he has bothered you....I am not quite sure how to stop him "
There was a flicker of surprise before his gaze sadden again "So we were a mistake " he said quietly, keeping the deep pain of that out of his voice as he continued to pet Ree as he listened to Kae. "Was your goal to get rid of evil?" He sounded tired. "That isn't possible, it is in the nature of all the races. Even if not acted upon it is possible just as the opposite is true. Everyone is running on fear, until that fear is acknowledge and dealt with, the battle between the races we'll continue. " he said quietly. "Gaia, metas are uniting humans and true races...as a common enemy. Right now they are against each other but the more the metas get stronger the more they will come together. The enemy of my enemy is my friend as the saying goes " he sighed and reluctantly pulled his hand away. "Will he be able to get back okay?" He motioned to Ree then looked at Kai, wanting to say more but what could he say when he family was gone..through the passage of time. "I wish you well "

"He is back at Sanctuary, in Kae's lab." she answered. "He moves a lot, and is a very cunning ghost... He is... there is something very wrong with him."
Gaia frowned, "I don't think so.... It is part of the natural order of things. There are no miracle workers who can help him. I'm sorry..."
Her frown only deepened as she looked down, "It was to reset the balance... evil is needed in balance of good. I guess that's why Valentein saw an opportunity here." she closed her eyes in distress, "...i know, i know... but I don't know how to fix the damage done without completely rewriting the world again." she muttered. Looking to Ree, she nodded, "He is fine as a spirit... even if his mind doesn't function as well... And he hasn't bothered me at all,... he keeps me company."
Kaizer nodded to Trisuri, "And I hope you luck in your journey."

Tri narrowed his eyes slightly "What is wrong with Tendren?" He asked softly needing to know, as she answered his questions about Ree his wings drooped more. He was not going to beg, knowing she had her reasons that he didn't really understand. Even if he felt sick not trying to though.
At the mention of good and evil he shook his head. "I do not know th specifics of what happens or why to comment with a better formulated answer. I can only described what I have seen myself, but I do not think a restart is the answer. Answering that underlying fear might be it. The fear the race's have of each other... the isolation from each other early on, the lessons taught by their parents and communities those are the problems " he said quietly, feeling like he was speaking out of turn to people wh I have seen a worse than he. Silently he looked to Ree and wondered why every time he found him he was always losing him. At Gaia's words he took a step reluctantly then looked to the door. "How do I return?"

"Tendren has lurked in the shadows, garnering bodies, moving spirits, and even agitated the malices as a whole to attack others. He plans dark things, I think he would have brought on this war himself had others not done it for him. He sought to break Ree... just like he hoped to break you." she frowned, "He needs to be stripped of his elder status, but there is no one to take his place just as Nova, Liliana, and Avon are."
She nodded, "You're right, a restart is not the answer... but then I have to decide, what the answer really is. I never wanted to be directly involved... but now... now I have to. Or everyone is doomed."
She looked at him as he asked how to return. Turning to the door he came in, she motioned to it. "Just leave through the door. And you'll wake up in the living world again." she instructed.
There was a pause before she looked very worried. "You must hurry... Valentein has turned her attention on Hexxis." she insisted, the locks on the door unlocking and ready to open with hinderance.

Tri frowned deeply the mention of Hexxis spurred him toward the door but he stopped and looked back. "Wait....how can he be stripped of his status? You do not leave a murderer at the helm recruiting and hurting others just because he is the only one who is free " trying to make her realize that the reason she gave was no reason at all. He needed to move to go to Hexxis but at the same time he needed to know this to protect her and others...they were working with two people and if he saved her from one only to lose her again to the other?. "Could he have also been contaminated by her?" hand turning them knob but not opening the door just yet, needing to know.
