Cass almost swore he felt a bug get into his mouth. He sputtered, trying his best to spit the thing out. It left a rather bitter taste and he made a face, not at all happy about the many bugs that seemed to be tailing him. He pulled up the canteen he had gotten earlier and took a drink, trying to wash the taste out of his mouth. As he put it down, he heard some footsteps and blinked, his head turning. He was preparing himself for whatever it could be when he saw a small furred creature coming toward him. He let out a breath of relief, at least it wasn't more bugs.
Aurora nodded and said "It's alright by ankle healed and you did no harm holding me by accident." She shook her head and said "It's alright." It was then that Aurora heard a voice she thought had called her name. "Huh, I think I hear someone calling me." She wasn't lying. She really did think she heard a voice. Before she left Aurora said "I'm Aurora by the way." Then she went to see what the sound was, or who might have been calling her. She went deeper wondering what or who might have called her then she went back to ask the doctor. "Are there things that might sound like your name called here?"
Coco had wandered off she was splitting up from Kayla Sue and Aben, they could go and talk with other freshlings, perhaps Coco would go and talk with a senior. Or just wander by herself for a bit. She ended up being sniffed by another familiar. Coco didn't know what was bringing them to her, but the ride home was going to be crazy they hadn't even found the new familiars and already everyone was collecting tons of familiars. Coco laughed and smiled looking at the cute fennekit that had chosen her. Since clearly, it wasn't a matter of her picking them not really.
Aedus found a hole in the wall he wondered if a familiar was hiding there, but nope it was just a spider oh well. He turned around to go look in another direction, he had good luck as soon as he arrived and now wasn't finding much of anything, he grumbled a little and continued looking. Then he sat down to take a break, maybe he was running around too much and wearing himself out to the point where he couldn't think straight. If that were the case it could be messing with his thinking and keeping him from finding anything.

On his way back to the group, he started to notice evenly spaced holes in the wall carvings. To be precise, he noticed one in particular when something caught the light from his headlamp. Curious, he carefully reached in to pull it out. He was rewarded with a pretty pink, rose-y looking stone. He wasn’t entirely sure what it was, but the texture was especially pleasing. Keeping that in his hand, he rubbed his thumb in small circles over the smoothest part of the stone. If he didn’t think of it that way, it’d probably make a good fidget toy. No harm in fidgeting with a stone, no attention to draw. Wasn’t sparkly or loud. Pleased with himself, Cyril debated peeking in more of the small holes. Maybe there would be a couple more?

Shaking her head, she had to rationalize to herself that there was no way the statue actually stuck its tongue out, was there? She drew in a deep breath and continued on, trying not to give it any more thought or she knew she'd drive herself crazy. She rounded a corner and saw a Hallowed Junior looking at the walls. She took a moment, looking up at them as well and noted the strange patterns that seemed to repeat. She took out her notepad and made a few rubbings of them, smiling slightly to herself. She wondered what it all meant.

Kiessi had almost left the chamber when he saw a much older Geist woman walk in, paying attention to the carvings on the wall. They smiled a little, saying hello. The woman returned the smile and said the same. They were a bit curious as the woman drew out some paper and made a few rubbings of them. Kiessi was a bit distracted, however, when they noticed that those weren't the only interesting carvings in the room. Pointing up, they alerted the other person to the pictures of winged naga that were high above the first ones. How strange? As far as they knew, Naga had been cut off from the rest of the world with the Neko, so how old was this place exactly?

Cass stroked the fur of the familiar gently, noticing that there was dust and a few other things matting the fur just a little. If the creature continued to follow him he was going to have to make sure to get it a bath. He stood up, moving through the corridors when he noticed that the cat was batting something on the ground. He turned to look and saw that it was yet another large beetle. He frowned, shaking his head. At least the vespercat was protecting him from the vile things. He patted the cat on the head and smiled a little, giving it some praise.
Kayla Sue waves good bye to Coco and Aben saying "Have fun." As she wanders down a new path she see a twinkling and bends down to feel around to find the pretty sparkle. After feeling around for a sec., Kayla Sue finds a beautiful purple swirling patterned rock. Admiring it as she stands up form her place, Kayla Sue almost crashes into an other freshling. "Oh I'm so sorry I wasn't looking where I was going. This beautiful rock had me mesmerized." Kayla Sue felt so bad. Taking a look at the freshling, Kayla Sue was shocked at how pretty this fallens hair and wings were. "My name is Kayla Sue by they way. Friends call me K Sue though." She didn't want to be even more rude and not introduce herself.

Aurora heard a strange sound, she wondered for a moment if her luck was going to get even worse today and maybe she should go back to the lodge before she was attacked by a tribe of evil freshlings. Then she turned and let out a sigh when she realized it was a fluffbug. Everything was fine, the fluffbug was a lovely blue color, Aurora smiled and laughed as the fluffbug flew towards her and started sniffing her. "Well hello there, you gave me a fright." Then Aurora walked off with her fennekit and fluffbug to see what else she could find.
Coco ended up back at the carving of the winged nagas, she smiled it was a lovely tale she had heard from the doctor, a story of growth and ritual. The doctor was right in a way even at the Academy they had their own ritual. The same that had told Coco she wanted to be an artist. This trip had given her so many ideas for things she wanted to paint when she got home. Coco turned then and headed back towards the others, she was looking for someone to walk with her again perhaps. Someone she hadn't spoken to before maybe.
Aedus was on the trail of yet another familiar and he lost yet another familiar in these ruins but he found a bag of what appeared to be coins, he chuckled lightly when he realized they were candy. He went back towards to others then to see if there was anyone who wanted to share his candy with him. He hoped to find Niamh, but if he couldn't perhaps he could make friends with someone else. Aedus had been closed off for a long time, a thing he regretted when he learned his parents had been killed by the infected. There was no time to be closed off when you didn't know when your last day was.
