He had to think fast and in the end offered his own back.
Picking up the Mongoose carefully in his mouth again,
he placed the critter on his back and let it ride along.
Light felt no sharp claws piercing into his skin and felt relieved.
The animal seemed to start to trust him, finally...

FIFTH TASK: Search The desire to help the Mongoose on his back grew stronger. It was then that Light remembered the kimeti buck who fed him interesting drinks at the Winter Market Festival. "Hello? Kimeti with the strange liquids? Are you around?" he called out, asking for his help. But there was no response from him... There were rustling of leaves and snapping noises of something breaking branches... Light listened with curious ears and watched with curious eyes. Was it the Kimeti? No......  What came into view was a gigantic caveworm that resembled a snake. Its legs moved sideways making snapping noises as it came into view. "What you sssseek is found jusssst yonder," said the caveworm, pointing to the path headed East with its antennas. The Mongoose, scampered down the acha's back and hid itself closely near the massive caveworm as if waiting for Light to come back for him. The grandpa acha took off and ran Eastward at full speed, believing that the worm won't eat the injured furry critter. and he tripped over something. Looking up, he realised he had tripped on the root of a thorny barrier.... but, he somehow knew what he needed was just behind this wall of thorns... He sunk his teeth deep into the root, and felt his mouth turn a little numb... Write a post where you seek someone out for help. Who is it? Why did you pick them? What sort of advice do you seek, and do they provide it? Remember, this is a dream, so you may pick someone who your kin might not ordinarily be able to talk to. (If you pick another user's kin, you should get their permission.) Regardless of whether they've answered your actual question, you eventually manage to figure out where you'll be able to find the materials you need. Unfortunately, as you approach, you realize that the way there is hindered by a thick field of thorns. You need to get to your goal by fighting you way through the barrier - but the thorns, while not dangerous, certainly hurt.

He didn't want to bite in again until he could feel his mouth again.
The thought the juice of the root may have caused the numbing.
With all his might, he turned and kicked the barrier with his hind legs.

Again he kicked, trying to forcefully make a small opening through the barrier..

Forgetting his mouth was still a little numb, Light chomped down on the thorny root and pulled.

Like a wild dog, he bit into the snapped root and pulled, feeling some of them give way...

With a final bite and pull of another thick snapped root, Light in the Ocean managed
to create a hole big enough for him to awkwardly wriggle through towards 'safety'..

SIXTH TASK: Cure
This area, were he finally made it to, was filled with many active achas.
Achas of many emotions. But nevertheless, they were a pack.
The Royal Rainbow Troupe? he thought. and realised they weren't for
Waterfall was nowhere to be seen.
Looking around, he noticed a few of them were mashing berries in an empty broken turtle shell.
The massive caveworm somehow appeared out of thin air along with the Mongoose.
Light in the Ocean gathered what he needed and went to work.
He hummed a happy tune as he mashed and mixed a concoction
for the furry injured critter.

He needed more herbs and moved to grab it behind the Mongoose.
It got freaked and screeched out loud, baring its teeth.

It was almost done now, but Light in the Ocean went
over the procedure in his mind. He was near the end
but felt a sudden sharp pain in his leg. Looking down.
he noticed that the Mongoose was just wanting to play
with him. But the bite was not playful and rather painful.

Next Light in the Ocean gathered a little bit of water from the stream.
He added just a little bit into the goopy mixture in front of him.
The Mongoose. it seemed to know what the acha was doing
and swished its tail to and fro, anticipating the end result.
This boosted the acha's confidence.
"Soon," he told the critter, "soon it will be done."

The next bit was a bit tricky.
Light in the Ocean was careful to add just the right amount of
Chamomile into the mixture for he did not want to put the animal
in a deep sleep afterwards.

It was close to finishing.
All Light needed was a few drops of aloe juice.
But he ended up adding in a few drops too many as the Mongoose had
playfully nipped him too hard on his leg again. He saw the critter's
bitemarks on his left front leg.
Quickly, using a sturdy stick, he scooped up some salve and put it onto
his just bitten leg to soothe it.

Next, he dipped the branch into the salve concoction again
and lathered it over the Mongoose's neck, and then its belly
as it rolled over onto its back for Light to see more clearly.
It seemed pleased to receive help, and Light smiled.
"Thank you for trusting me." He bowed to the critter
and laid down beside the Mongoose, ready to take a nap himself.
"I hope your wounds will heal nicely. You're safe now. "
THe acha let out a long sleepy yawn.
"These achas are harmless. They will protect you."
The journey had worn him out and he could not stay awake much longer.
The sunshine kept him warm and the gentle rustling of the wind floating
through the grass made him very drowsy...
And Light in the Ocean dozed off......
OOC Footnote Your character must gain 30 progress points to finish constructing the cure. Once they've administered it, describe what it is and how it helps - then describe your kin waking up to realize it was all a dream. Current HP: 12 / 30 Current Trust: 62 Section notes: Kin who wake up having successfully completed the dream will find that wild animals seem to trust them a little more on instinct for the next two days. They won't necessarily be friendly with your kin but they'll be less wary of them. Obviously, however, if your kin proceeds to attack the animal, that trust will be broken and the animal will react as normal.
When he awoke, Light was still curled up in a ball.
But he was not in the swamp no more and back
in the desert, still rested against the big boulder.
Close beside him were a couple of Mongoose.
Some were beige and spotted, some striped.
But the beige one stood out to Light the most.
"You're all healed," he spoke out loud.
Seeing that the critter had no wounds on its body,
it was quite content crawling all over the acha
without being afraid of being attacked...
Out of the corner of his eyes, Light had spotted
a golden eagle perched on the nearest branch.
The herd of achas were nowhere to be seen...
He sighed and moved the Mongoose away before
getting up on all fours. The grandpa acha knew that
helping the critter escape from danger was all just
an adventurous dream with a happy ending.

The feeling of missing Above Heartache came back
to him again. ..
