Otto gave the other boy a look, one brow raised high before turning away. "The Hell kinda books you readin'?" Giant lizard people as nurses? "Was she on drugs?" He wasn't so crazy that he saw lizard people, so he had that going for him. However, as he wandered the halls, he began to feel lost and disoriented. Where had he walked from? Where was the exit? Or even an office to gather intel?
He chewed on another Skittle, letting the sweet taste counterbalance his bitter disposition.
"Theres way too many doors. Are they all apartments like I was in?"

Noah jumped when he was bumped into, and shot a slightly panicky look over his shoulder. But he quickly turned back to the job at hand, which was opening the door and carefully peeking out, then leaning out and looking up and down the hall to see if anyone was there. He could hear voices down the hall, but the coast seemed to be mostly clear, so he slipped out of the room.

"I didn't either, but after we escape we'll probably need money," Jordan pointed out. He was being optimistic. They were going to escape. "Like, change for a pay phone at least, right?" "Is that yours?" he asked. "It's kind of cool." He'd never seen an alien plushie like that before, and even if it was kind of stupid to carry a plushie at 14, well, he had his shark, wherever that was. Even if he kept it hidden now. So he wasn't going to be a jerk about the thing. He might keep the knowledge on hand for later teasing. The thought about family was a more pressing matter anyway. "Do you think they're here somewhere?" he asked. If that was the case, then Andy might be here too, and that was ... both alarming and possibly comforting, because if his brother was here they could at least stick together. But he hoped not. He hoped Andy was home and safe, and that their family wasn't having to worry about both of them. "We should look."

Adjusting the straps to then backpack, he glanced up quickly but didn't even look at Jordan long. He knew a guy having a stuffed animal was warrent enough to get teased and your a** beat on a regular bases without any mercy from your peers. Despite this place being a kidnapping ring probably for predophiles, no one here knew he was a weird kid and that gave him the strange opportunity to be someone else - like his old self. Having a mark against him with the first kid he met wasn't helping his image of being a badass.
"My mom made it like ages ago. I don't know why my kidnapper took it." He said, brushing off the fact that he usually kept it on his bed unless friends came over and then it would hide in his dresser.
"Yeah cause I don't keep that anywhere but my room so they must have taken home there. My brother Chris is just a little kid but my sister Sophie is a senior so she will know a lot if they are here too." But she was still a girl and would need help.
At the door, he looked out and then opened the door. "Lets go."

"I read a lot," said Chance, in answer to Otto's question. His smile was slightly sheepish, a hand raising to rub at the back of his neck. "I don't have a lot of other things to do. I mean I work. Worked?" He looked around, as though trying to figure out where the store was.
"And no, no drugs," he said dryly. "It was a sci-fi novel."
Chance gave a shrug of his shoulders, the star printed shirt he was wearing too big for him.
"I dunno. I woke up an apartment room but it was more like a college dorm or like, a cheap apartment, it's only big enough for a bed and a dresser, really."

Deus Dormitories"Really? That's weird. The room I was in was huge. Had a kitchen too.." He'd not taken the time to really take it all in. He'd run from the room in a panic, after all. "So we woke up in someone else's rooms...." Wait.. "Did... we get kidnapped or..." .....had they been sold into male prostitution!? Was this a brothel? A Looney bin brothel? " Get me outta here." He said suddenly, dropping the Skittles and sprinting for a source of light that wasn't florescent. He wasn't entirely sold on the brothel theory, as his parent's were unlikely to stoop to such measures to straighten him out. But the trapped feeling he was having only got worse the more he thought about it. And that female voice crying in his head was getting angrier and angrier the more he ignored her. Finally, he found a large window. His hands skimmed by the edges looking for a way to open it. The ecosystem outside was foreign, but it was a way ********.." He looked around, shoving Chance out of his way as he moved around the commons room. Projectile.. projectile... Without thinking, he began trying to lift a sofa chair up with his own strength. It proved futile, as his scrawny little arms weren't accustomed to manual labour. He kept trying anyway.

[Basement Halls] - Kimberly 14yoKimberly gasped and tucked her hands into her pocket at the thought of a phone, and raising one finger to halt the others from leaving she poked at the phone and looked through it. "Holy... look at this stuff. Notices about attacks and freaky things. Why would someone put a phone like this in my pocket?" She turned the phone for the others to see. "Seems like a lot of messages between me and someone named Ace, but I don't remember making any of them." She looked back and her jaw dropped. "The pictures... No way in Hell are these real. I look weird but it must be me altered or something because.. like those fake tattoos look so real." She shook her head rapidly. "I don't get any of this, this has to be one of those weird killer games and they want us to go insane first!"

"Maybe you got like, an extra special room," Chance mused, but he was trying not to smile. "I, uh, I'm not sure where your train of thought is going, but I think you're sorta derailing - "
There was another voice that kept wafting towards him, but Chance had pushed it aside for the time being, stumbling back as Otto shoved him. "Wait - where are you going - "
He darted after the boy, half darting down the hallway, not entirely sure why he was bothering with someone who clearly didn't want anything to do with him. Or maybe he was doing it because the other seemed so frightened of everything; Chance couldn't quite let him do things on his own.
When he rounded the corner, he found Otto dragging a chair towards the window. Or at least, attempting to.
"Uh," said Chance, "What are you doing..?"

Deus Dormitories"Mm...trying....to.." He huffed, the chair legs screeching against the floor with each pull. "Break the.. window!" He gasped as he lost his grip, crashing to the floor on his rear end. He cussed various profanities under his breath as he rose to continue his work. "Yo, Pinhead. Er.. Chance. Whatever... Come help me chuck this thing at the window."

He could help. Or he could stand there and watch as Otto struggled with the chair, both of which were kind of funny prospects, especially seeing as how a few seconds later, Otto was on the ground, looking - and sounding - extremely disgruntled.
"Okay, uh," Chance took a step forward, putting a hand on the chair. "Why don't we look around first? I'm not sure jumping straight to breaking windows is good, especially since like, wouldn't it alert someone if we've been taken to some weird place?"

Deus DormitoriesOtto huffed, crossing his arms and glaring at Chance as if he was a major disappointment. Or a major roadblock. Sensible people just didn't get things done fast enough for his liking. "Maybe I wanna alert someone, huh?" He leaned forward to try and intimidate the older boy. A feeble feat for a young teen as short as Otto. "I ain't seen an exit yet. So unless you can tell me how to break outta here without breaking something..."

En Route to H's Office
"Oh," Carl went quiet, not entirely sure who 'he' was but his current guesses since it obviously wasn't Mark were the tall loud red-haired guy, the guy who got sucked into a portal, or Rep's butler, "I'm sorry. I'm sure they will figure it out, they're smart." He seriously hoped it wasn't the guy who got sucked into the portal because Carl had really bad news to tell Rep later.
"But I mean, this H, he's a doctor, so he could help fix us right?" A pause and then a loud whisper. "Just don't tell him we're in this division."
Must be nice to be fourteen again.

DEATH OFFICES
Mark checked his phone and then sighed in relief. "Getting Allan that Pikachu cover for his Spectre watch has like, seriously been the best investment ever. Here, take my spare phone, I put the signal on him. Simon can't possibly be that far off, those two are super homo." He paused, and then made a face. "No *****."
Still with a bit of reluctance, Mark handed Gale his spare phone and then some really old chewing gum. "Those are for the kids, they like candy right?"

Jordan was about to shrug off the mystery of the plushie, then paused. "Wait, so if they brought some of your stuff, why didn't they bring our normal clothes?" Then he shook his head, making a face. " ... never mind."
He looked out into the hall, then walked out of the room, trying to walk like he knew where he was going.

Dorms - 2nd floor Melvin with Jordan
"I don't know what these crazy people are thinking and I don't want to know. All of this is creepy and freaking me out. I need like a whole army of therapist for this stuff."
He looked around and, following the front that he knew what he was doing, he headed down the hallway. "We just gotta find a way out of here and like a old radio to call to an air Marshall or a forest ranger or something if we can't use these phones. You know Morse code or karate or anything?"
