User Image Despite the countless apologies, the arrogance in the gehaka's tone was enough to make Zurin scowl. He almost started lecturing the impertinent gehaka when the thought of the other yellow toned gehaka who had been so rude this morning arose.

Zurin narrowed his eyes and considered what he could see of the blueish gehaka. Perhaps this one was not intentionally rude, only stupid. Clearly he had not understood Zurin's request for the parasol, as no gehaka would be outrageous enough to ignore such a request from a haka.

Smiling graciously, Zurin reached out to place a hand on the parasol's handle, just above where the gehaka's mottled fingers gripped it. Speaking slowly and carefully so as not to confuse the gehaka further, Zurin asked again.

"Might I have the use of your parasol? The sun is very hot and my skin will burn. So I need the parasol. To protect my skin from the sun."

Eyeing the gehaka carefully and hoping he had been plain enough for him to understand, Zurin waited for a response.

"By all means," Agnija nodded politely and in a quick snap, he opened the bright parasol. It was a soft pink, embroidered with a golden dragon scraping the clouds. He poised the umbrella over the Haka with ease, casting a cooling shade across both of them. "Would you like me to accompany you, or will you be alright by yourself?"

User Image Zurin noted the self-punishment with approval. This gehaka had some sense of his place after all. He was even polite enough to offer his protection for the journey home, like a proper gentleman.

As far as Zurin's weak eyes could make out, he wasn't bad looking either. A fine trinket to hang on one's arm. Allowing his lips to curve even further into a smile, Zurin imperiously held out his arm for the gehaka to take.

"I would be most pleased by that, you may indeed accompany me to my home."

Then another thought struck Zurin and he paused. What if this gehaka was from some disreputable house? He could not risk being seen with anyone of low standing! Zurin was ashamed to think that his need for shade had temporarily overcome his social training.

Coughing slightly, he affected a polite tone. "May I enquire as to which family claims the honour of your birth?"

Tilting his head to the side, he stared at his outsretched hand probably a bit too long before the light flickered on. He smiled graciously and looped a solid arm around Zurin's own for proper support. "Always a pleasure,"

The grey boy's ears twitched briefly at the Haka's question, keeping a smile at bay and a quick tongue in check. I don't think it's quite and honor, but... "The Bharu family. Small, but we are one of the leading producers of grain, along with hogs. I'm one of my family's farm hands."

User Image Zurin began to walk carefully down the street, feeling the firm muscles under the grey skin bunch as they moved. He was not surprised that the gehaka was a farm hand, he had the build of someone who worked out of doors.

Zurin searched his memory but could only find a vague twinge at the Bharu name. His instructors must have drilled it into his head at one point in his economics lessons, but Zurin's usually sharp mind had been too bitter of late to absorb much of what he was taught in order to run the estate. A grain producer would certainly have been mentioned, unless the gehaka was lying about their prominence.

Zurin looked at the blue haired gehaka sideways. "Bharu. No, I haven't heard of them. Perhaps you have heard of mine, though. I am of the Wakahisa family."

He said it dramatically, though in truth he would be surprised if the Bharu knew of it. The Wakahisa clan had once held much prestige, but the recent death of his parents and subsequent drop in their fortunes had caused the family to fall on hard times. Hopefully the name alone would impress the simple gehaka, as Zurin had little else to offer.

Click to show.Agnija's attention had been strictly focused on the Haka's footfalls, trying hard to keep in time with him and not leave Zurin or himself behind. Readjusting the parasol and the bag of grocerries that began to give his back a sorespot, he sighed at the answer.

"Well... we've been suffering from drought for the past few harvests. I'm sure we have been surpassed by other families," Shrugging it off, he took his time answering the next question. Wakahisa. Wakahisa... He didn't want to tell the young man he didn't recognize the family line, completely embarrassed actually. He usually daydreamed through his little tips from his mother. He regretted it now.

"I... " Oh! What should he tell him? He didn't want to offend the Haka, Zurin was probably already wellversed in the level of the Gahak's common sense. Think, think! "I can't say that I remember, but... if your beauty is any assessment of your lineage, you must be a god." Hopefully, that would sufice for his ignorance elsewhere.

Nikki was graceful in his steps as he moved into view of the spa. The young Haka was grateful that he'd managed to get out of the house, then again, with his brother's wedding looming over the family's heads, there was a lot going on. His mother was meeting with the family of the young Donalbain, Yuki and his fiance were getting to know each other better near the ocean, and the other Gehaka of the household were busy running around in an eager panic. Nikki hated being cramped up while so much was going on, and with the other Gehaka busy, he didn't have a trained escort... Save his other brother...

Ryuu was carefully holding an ornate parasol above his younger brother, making sure that the shade was always cast on his pale figure. He had to admit that he was suprised that the Haka shared the same mother, or even was the son of the Gehaka of the house. He was so delicate, even for a Haka. He was only 3 when Nikki had been born, but it was a year he would never forget. His Haka mother had desperately wanted another Haka in the household, but the strain of Nikki's birth had been dangerous. The Haka had been born sickly, and his mother had been drained of nearly all of his strength. Because of this, Nikki had instantly become the top priority of the entire household, and it had paid off. Even though his brother was fairly healthy now, it had become natural for the Gehaka to do whatever he requested. Thus, when Nikki had requested for an escort to the Spa, he'd readily agreed. After all, they both needed a day to unwind...

Naomi was supposed to meet someone here. That's the only reason he came out of his house during the day. He was Donalbain's trained servent and was sent here in order to pick up a family friend. The parasol he carried was much bigger than any Gehaka or Haka's, as his skin was totally drained of color.

Electric blue eyes searched everywhere for the family friend. How as this going to work when he didn't know who he was looking for? With a sigh, he stood still and waited, making sure the sun was off of him completely. He couldn't go inside without his Haka here. His silver grey hair blew in the gentle wind.

If there was a way to tell that Nikki was related to Donalbain's fiance, the feature that gave him away was his golden eyes. But for someone who hadn't met Yuki before and hadn't seen his eyes, there was little other resemblance to go on.

Seeing the pale Gehaka standing outside the spa instantly got Nikki's curiousity going. After a long moment of thought, the Haka paused in front of Naomi, offering a graceful, delicate smile.

"Are you looking for someone?"

Ryuu paused as his brother stopped, carefully poising the parasol above the delicate head of platinum blonde hair.

Grayish eyes tracked the sun, nearly dusk out a hour or two more and the sun would set. The large Gehaka set his hands on his hips. Well, he didn't feel like returning home yet, and the spa called for him to soak and ease the pains of the day.

Spa it was, he decided and started a roguish whistle as he walked to the entrance. He was unmated; his mother had lost control over him after his marriage and his Haka mate's death. The only reason he lived on the manor ground was Mother need help and invited him back.

A warm chuckle rose from the rouges throat. Life was good; he was free from his monster of a mate. He could keep an eye on his little Haka brother; Shinku had found mates. Soon he would no longer need his help and be free of their arrogant over bearing mother. It made him feel pleased and sorrowful that soon he would not be needed.

It was to hot to be here. But, his master had cast him out tonight, telling him he was unwanted this night because he was with one of his mates. He had gotten money from Donalbain, so he'd go soak himself in the spa.

Hidden underneath an over sized parsol, this Gehaka sighed as he practically floated down the street and under the cover of the the canvas that covered the spa. He sighed, not liking being out anywhere this time of day. Or any time of day. He sun was so harsh on his almost colourless skin. His blue eyes scanned over the place, the people in it before a sigh escaped him again, his ears lowering and his speckled wings curling closer to his back, under the parsol.

Poor thing, the Gehaka eyes settled on the other walking under a rather large parasol. He was to pale to be out at the moment, dusk would be kinder on that skin. He seemed rather hot as well. The warmth did not bother Sei, he was use to pulling long days at the forge.

He placed a finger to his lips in thought and made up his mind then the ears lower. Perhaps the other would enjoy some company; Sei certainly wouldn't mind talking to him.

Lively stepping behind the other, Sei tapped a pale shoulder. "Konnichwa. Would you care for some company today?"

When his shoulder was tapped, he gasped and turned around, clinging to the parasol like a life line. He blinked a few times, trying to figure out who this other was. Company? "U-uhm... No. No, not at all!" He hadn't been able to talk with others before, his master was always with him and he never spoke unless he was spoken too. That is what Donalbain had toled him. His brown and white hair slipped over his shoulder, the shadow playing on his skin made him seem either older or younger, one couldn't be to certain.

"Watashi wa, Miyako Naomi desu," he said, bowing slightly. He couldn't bow proparly, the sun would burn him horribly and he didn't want that right now.

An eyebrow arched as the other babbled slgithly. Hun? He would take that as a yes. A gut feeling was saying if he left this odd looking bird alone he would be eaten. Kind of pretty in a pale way, he chuckled silently. Maybe he had been alone a little too much if Naomi was looking good in a relationship way. Perhaps it was Father's fault, he was dating Kenchi..but Kenchi looked kind of like a Haka..no pull out of this getting in to deep.

"Watashi wa, Hishoren Sei. It is nice to meet you," he replied back giving a small head tilt. "You should get inside before your burn. The sun is not kind to your complextion." He pushed his hair from his face. "Come along this way." He made a move to take Naomi's hand.
