And being Mik, he refused to give up, leaping like a lemur onto the back of the train and pulling himself up onto it. He felt like a superhero!

The walk to the lighthouse was quiet as he tried to reassure Melody, but there wasn't time to do much else when they were all thrown into a portal that was clearly going to have a chance of weapon decorating.
In even thicker snow, Melvin stood with the group to see what looked like a children's Christmas book and the sing-song Too-Toot of the train that rushed by with a glittering spray of fluffy snow.
The race was on but Melvin had to stop to clean his glasses free of a coating of powered snow.

"Wait, all of us?" Oliver protested, trying to wiggle away from the noogie. That action just made it easier for Tommy to drag him towards the lighthouse. It looked like he was in the mission for good. "I think I'd rather just enjoy the sn-Oow!" Oliver's mutter turned into a yelp as he found himself shoved through the portal, and landed in the snow... sort of. It felt softer and happier, and tasted sweeter when it got in his mouth. He spat it out in surprise. Scrambling to his feet, he saw the giant gingerbread train and understood what their task was. He looked around for Tommy. Seussi I will do the roll following Tommy's lead! ^o^

After a bit more running, he grabbed some sugar-frosted railing and heaved himself up on some wafer flooring. Breathing deep, he turned to see if anyone needed help.

The train was going just slightly too fast to grab onto the beautifully iced railing as it went by. Jordan overextended and fell, and had to scramble back up and sprint after it to climb on.

Melvin stepped back to let Jordan board and looked out.
"They could at least have told us we are literally catching s train and maybe giving us a lift. You okay?" He patted some snow off his shoulders.

Thankfully it was then that a nice Hunter pulled up next to Oliver. He had no less than ten candycanes in his pocket, and was fairly rugged looking. "Hey kid, you lost?"
Before Oliver could answer, he grabbed him by the wrist and with an inhuman vice-like grip, began to pull him away from the train, whistling a holiday tune as he did so.

"My dignity's a little bruised, but the rest of me is fine. Think I got some snow in my mouth, but hopefully that won't do anything weird. Ready for this?" Jordan brushed the rest of the snow off his front and nodded to Melvin.

"All aboard!"
The voice belonged to a sturdy-looking female Hunter, though she might have been from an off-island branch because her face was quite unfamiliar. She was wearing an impromptu Santa hat with a wreath made entirely out of living gumdrops all trying to cannibalize themselves at the same time.
"Here," she leaned over towards Melvin, "let me help you with that."
Before that could be explained, Melvin would suddenly feel a blunt force collide with his head, which he would belatedly realize, was a massive candycane, that crashed into little candy pieces around him. Before he could begin to defend himself, she was pummeling him again with her fist weapon, a furious onslaught of punches, as blood began to fly everywhere. "You- don't - mess - with Santa."
Moonkitsune Melvin takes 12 damage. (The attacking Hunter has 60 HP

The cabin that Mik was on suddenly exploded, which was actually pleasant as it involved a shower of gingerbread bits, candy, and icing.
What appeared out of the cabin however, was a ten foot tall gingerbread man. It had a happy face made with perfect icing, and in one hand was a giant candycane-
- With pointed, bloody ends.
It took careful aim and threw the entire candycane with just one gingerbread arm, doing its best to skewer Mik whole before picking up a second candycane. Baneful Roll 1d6! If odd he dodges, if even he get skewed (in any random body part). It isn't sharp enough to go through bone but it is sharp enough to pierce skin and flesh. If he gets hit he takes 10 damage

Rep caught up with the train without too much hassle after extricating himself from the snow and vaulted onto it, just a little bit out of breath.
He gave the whole thing a deeply suspicious look, as though instead of a gingerbread train, he was looking at a blood splattered slaughterhouse. Christmas was war and he remembered how helpless fear-based weapons often were against things from this realm.
At first when he arrived people seemed to be doing their usual deus thing, chipping away at things, milling around and chatting.
And then things began to go wrong, the way they always went wrong. At least here it didn't matter that he couldn't ******** summon Tracey.

Mikael froze as a gingerbread man crashed onto the scene, beaming big at it. "WOW!" he exclaimed. It was like something from a really great cartoon and he wondered if the gingerbread man was going to teach him any morals to live his life by or storm a castle.
Unfortunately, said gingerbread man didn't seem to understand that his candy walking stick was dangerous to small fleshy hunters. "HEY." he called. "NO, BAD GINGERBREAD MAN."
But this didn't work, and at the last minute he had to scramble to safety. "Hey! You could hurt someone with that thing. Don't be mean!"

A six-foot Hunter suddenly appeared next to Lucky and Jake. They were fairly good-looking, actually quite good looking with perfect hair and-
- Oh it was Caelius.
He threw both of them onto the train with as much force as humanly possible, enough to send them crashing through three different train cabins. molten tigrex Take 8 damage from the throw [A.V.] Take 8 damage from the throw

The gingerbread man tried again, because if at first you don't succeed it's nice to at least try a second - and third - time. Baneful Feel free to attack the confection, it has 10 HP, otherwise it from this point onwards, any post Mik makes he has to roll 1d6 (odd to dodge, even to get hit for -5 damage).
