"Ele dear, I never said it was of Bellrisian origin. I said it wasn't of Zalton origin... So either you're better at reading between the lines than you appear, or you've looked through the other family tree's." She replied with a giggle. "I don't think a white gown will do now that I've got two boys, but the vision does sound lovely. I'd love it if you would help me with some of it, and maybe even talk Aldon into giving me away." She murmured, giving a nod of understanding to wanting a girl. "I'm sure you'll have one, and a boy as well. As for naming them, what your father wishes no longer counts. You are married and a queen, therefore it is up to you and Aldon what the names should be." She stated firmly before a loud knock was heard, followed by a familiar coo that woke little Leon from his sleep. She hadn't been expecting Roland to visit out of the blue like this, but she was glad that he would be meeting his sons just after their birth and not months down the road. "Yes I'm awake, please come in." She called as the maid quickly and carefully handed her the crying babe. "Ele, would you like to hold Arthur?" She asked in a whisper.

He hears the sounds of a baby's cry but Roland didn't remember anyone with a baby, unless Athena's sister in law had a child in secret; But with how the emperor is he highly doubt that such a child would even be allowed to live. Upon opening the door Roland's eyes turned bright and all he could see was this magnificent aura radiating around the mother of his children; Stars in his gaze as he can instinctively tell his children were truly his and Athena's love is as true as the new lives that now bless his life. Without a word he is quick to her side and with lips pressed tightly onto her cheek he openly tells her. "I love you with all my heart Athena. I'm so madly in love with you for the blessing of a family you've given me and there are no words to tell you just how much I want to be with your forever."

 xxxxxxxxxxxxxx Elentiya Drosselmeyer Elentiya giggled slightly "only in Zalto would that be considered." she smiled at her sister in law "Royalty and nobility do so all the time. At my sisters wedding, she wore white even though she was not....you know" she looked over at the door when someone knocked and she raised an eyebrow when she saw a guy with dark hair walk in. By the way Athena acted she could only assume that it was the father of the children, and the way that Elentiya had to quickly jump out of the way when he moved toward Athena proved it so. Elentiya smiled at Athena and shook her head "I'll hold them another time. I was only stopping by to make sure you where alright" she said as she moved around the new comer and managed to squeeze in between them for a second to give Athena a sisterly hug and whisper into her ear "Tell me if he ever breaks your heart. I'll get my sister to make him cry like a little girl" she whispered to Athena before standing up and heading toward the door "See you soon" she said, wiggling her fingers at her sister-in-law before silently leaving the room. (Exits)

 Old age is not so bad when you consider the alternatives.
~Maurice Chevalier~ Accompanying the prince a respectful pace behind, the elderly nurse toddled along. Her movements suggested that she wasn't quite beginning to slow with age, and that she could still keep up, though, her height betrayed that she wasn't likely to be seen aprinting across a courtyard anytime soon. It was likely for the best, as it was. She was to be a nurae and a nanny, not a schoolteacher or guard. She saw the door open, and through it passed a lady who was on her way out. Shala bowed her head and said nothing quite yet. This lady must not have been the one they were going to see, for she left them and seemed to have no reason to talk with the young prince. Ah well, she still seemed like a pleasant girl. Shala contented herself with a smile as they awaited permission to enter the room. Wisdom doesn't automatically come with old age.
Nothing does - except wrinkles. It's true, some wines improve with age.
But only if the grapes were good in the first place.

"And I you." She murmured lovingly just before her dear sister-in-law managed to squeeze in a hug and whisper to her, once again making her giggle. "I have no fear of such a thing happening, but it if does I will be certain to let you know. Take care until next time Ele, and your nephews will be waiting for their cuddles." She said with a gentle wave to the new queen as she left the room. Naturally that left her alone with Roland and another person whom she'd not yet met. "I wasn't expecting you so suddenly my love. Especially since I've only just given birth to your boys in the wee hours of this morning. I mean they're only a day old and get to see their papa, it wasn't expected at all." She said while gently shifting Leon a little so that the maid could hand her Arthur. "I've named them after our fathers as I said in my letter, though judging by your reaction upon seeing us, you didn't receive it before leaving Bellris. The one I was holding when you entered is Leon Hartwin, and the one I was just passed is Arthur Percival. Both strong, healthy boys for being a month early. Who have you brought with you Roland?"

Roland didn't personally know the woman who squeezed by and snuk a hug to Athena but Roland had spoken to Princess Esther enough during the civil war to know who this blonde woman was. Around campfire and before the raids, he and Esther shared many things and the thoughts of their family was one of those things. Tatiana had a dark complexion, Phobosian by her mother's lineage, and Ursula wears a bandage to protect her eyes from overstimulation due to her condition. Which leaves the only possible princess to be Elentiya, though she wouldn't be considered a princess anymore now would she. He felt it appropriate to acknowledge the Queen of Zalto and give her a quick wave goodbye as she left the room and showed a smile of thanks for her kindness in allowing him time with his princess. It had been so long since he got to be by her side that he had even forgotten to introduce Athena to her new aid. "My gosh, sorry for not introducing you both. Athena, this is Sharla who I've hired her to help you as a nursemaid. Sharla, this is princess Athena of Zalto, my lover and the mother of my healthy baby boys." A proud father indeed, his smile never once fading. He was so happy to be a father but so much more happy that the woman he truly loved would mother his children and keep an oath of romance as they both grow along with their children.

Giving her attention over to the kind looking elder woman, she smiled warmly. "It is a pleasure to meet you Sharla. I do hope you won't mind if I spend a great deal of time shadowing you, I want to spend as much time with my boys as I can." She murmured before looking back over to Roland and biting her lip a moment. "Would you like to hold one of your sons? Or are you too busy grinning like a fool to even want a cuddle from them?" She asked, teasing her beloved a little since he hadn't yet made the move to even gently caress one of their cheeks. Of course she gave her attention back to the woman named Sharla and smiled once more. "If you would like to hold one as well, you are welcome to do so."

Of course I want to hold my kids!" He was just so overcome with joy that he didn't know quite what to do with himself. But, once her neared the child in his wife's arms he would hold his hands out and ask, "How do I hold a baby? Do I keep it's head up or what?" He's never held a child and it showed in his uncertainty but his eyes looked to his woman and with hopefully heart he wanted to learn how to care for his children too.

~Maurice Chevalier~ At the moment, Sharla stood aside and watched with an encouraging smile. It was always cute to watch a father greet his children for the first time. Especially one who cared as deeply as the young prince did. Sadly, she had seen fathers who, while they acknowledged their participation in the creation of life, didn't contribute to the life they had helped to bring about. She certainly wouldn't mind the presence of her highness for as long as she wished to be around her children. This, she would assure, was perfectly alright. " I am here to support you, young mother. Don't worry about a thing." Fortunately, she was here to help assist the confused father. She stepped closer and guided his arms. " Round your arms and elbows. Let your wrist and hand cushion the baby's head when he's given to you. Infant necks are weak and can't hold their heads properly yet." Wisdom doesn't automatically come with old age.

"Please just call me Athena, there's no need to be formal." She murmured before biting her lip and wondering how exactly she was going to pass her beloved one of his boys. Thankfully Sharla stepped in and showed him how to hold out his arms, allowing the now calmer little Leon to be gently passed over to Roland. "Thank you Sharla, it seems you'll have your work cut out for you. I just hope I won't be too much trouble asking a bunch of questions and spending all the time I can with my handsome boys." She said before looking up at her lover and giggling a little. "I truly am glad that you didn't get my letter, for seeing the surprise on your face when you came into the room was the best. Especially when you realized there was two of them." She cooed just as little Arthur began to fuss quite a bit, wanting a meal, though she didn't quite know it.

He couldn't think of someone better suited to help his Athena. The feel of holding his children last night could not have been matched by any degree of fire nor any magic of lightning. It had become late and in that short amount of time, before his love and his babies had fallen asleep, Roland had learned so much about being a father and a little more about life. All babies really do is eat, poop and sleep, yet somehow they are still so precious in your eyes; The infinite promises they hold in their beating hearts the most inspiring thing about them. Leaving the room for the night, as needed by order of the guard, as required of him by the king and the safety of his family, Roland took to the library to sleep and by the morning he felt energetic and ready to see off his Athena, Leon and Arthur. A light tap on the door, just in the way the head maid Sarah advised, and there the prince asks with a light voice, "Athena, are you awake?"

"Yes I'm awake Roland, please come in. Just be warned that Arthur is having his meal." She replied in a cheerful coo. Naturally she wasn't lying about feeding her son, but she wanted to make sure her beloved knew that she wasn't completely covered. Sure it was a normal thing for a mother to be doing, but it still felt right to warn him anyway. The night before had been eventful considering she had been visited by both Kaiden and Elentiya, before being surprised by the love of her life and father of her twin boys. At least she got to watch him hold his children before sleep finally took her with it now morning though, she was awakened by the cry of a dirty diaper, which allowed her to not only learn to change her one son and put on a fresh outfit as well.

~Maurice Chevalier~ Having made herself useful at the first sign of daybreak, Shala was simply going about the room and cleaning what she could. A few of the clothes and things were sent to be cleaned, and beyond that, she was just tending to the crib, making sure that it continued to be put together, while the brother not being fed stared in complete wonder at the color of sunlight on the ceiling. She was quite pleased that the princess wanted to learn how to care for her children. Many, many noblewomen that she knew didn't want anything to do with the basic care of their children, at least, not when it came to something that seemed disgusting and filthy. Lady Athena was more sensibly thinking, it seemed. Sharla smiled, quite enjoying being just in the same space as the two young parents. They still had all the joy of love about them, enhanced by the life they looked forward to raising, the sons they brought into the world. It was a wonderful call to younger days, and in many little ways, it reminded her of the children she was blessed to raise. Ah, what were they up to now, she wondered. These unanswered questions soon vanished from her mind as she strode over to a nearby chair and brushed it off, in case the young prince wanted to sit down. It wasn't as though there was anything to be hid from the father at this point. Wisdom doesn't automatically come with old age.

The feeling of pride was there to see her take care to the heirs of his bloodline; And a sense of pride can be there for the union of house Llewellyn with house Bellris; Two houses glorious in their own right. "I don't think you've ever looked so lovely, my dear." He whispered in a coo as he tiptoe to kiss her on her forehead; His eyes more alive whenever he sees her. It was then that the man would turn with a smile, a bit guilty, and greet the other in the room. "And a good morning to you too, Shala."
