"I'm just peachy, nothing to worry about." She smiled at the boy as she hoisted herself back onto Crowma, straightening her dress. If the little witch were afraid or hurt, she wasn't about to let it show. Perhaps a bit too stubborn, but that's what got you by in Alternia. "By the way, ya can call me Ri. Just holler if you need some help again. Keep a stiff upper lip, can't let them know they're gettin' to ya. Even if they are just a hodge podge of mechanical monsters." She offered.
Crowma turned her head this way and that, creaking at the other's lusus. It was indeed peculiar for tree creatures to run into each other, well in the middle of a bucket of bolts anyhow. She seemed more hesitantly curious than anything.

Idly, Sascha wondered if the Civisect space elevator development was progressing just as ridiculously. They probably had the government funding to send in a whole damn battalion of drones should any of their technology act up. Hell, their computer systems were probably flawless with like, a hundred different firewalls protecting against this kind of nonsense.
At least the Chittentown tower was scrappy. Sascha could appreciate that trait in any troll or inanimate object... Even if it was generally used to beat the snot out of him in various humiliating ways.

Leeroi swatted wildly at whatever was grabbing at him, but was unable to land a decent hit, especially with his other arm slowly puttering out of commission. In fact, as he gave a wide swing, he felt one of the springs ka-c***k out of position. Slowly and awkwardly, his arm twisted into its regular position at Leeroi's side. All the while, monsters in the dark were pinching him blue. Still, he kept joking, despite getting angrier with every swing. "Whoa-oh!" Leeroi yelled loud enough for those outside to hear. "Let's not get distracted. Think of the mission, Mera!" He laughed loud, searching blindly for the tealblood.
It was a bit weird to think of her group as more than just the usual trolls she was used to-- Luxara and Etsali had become something of a crutch for Forera, and she could always act however she felt comfortable with them. Being among trolls who didn't really know her completely felt a little weird, but in a good way. If that made sense...? Forera didn't know, and frankly maybe she didn't need to. As long as she felt better than her time in the solitude of her hive in the edges of the forest. It had been a while since Sascha had encountered much of anything. No traps, no trolls, not even a dead end. It was disconcerting. If something was attacking him, he could fight it. He couldn't fight being lost. The endless hallways were getting to him. Hell, they'd been getting to him ever since he set foot in this goddamn elevator to hell. Sascha vowed to spend some quality time in the open air of nature once he got himself out of this mess.
Leeroi's voice. Light. Then the blueblood shoved up to her and they were trapped again. Of course he couldn't just open the door. Hemera sighed, which turned to a groan when Leeroi had to make a joke. She felt around, and, yup, that was his chest. Hemera pushed him to the side, hard, and, by the grace of the cracks he had left in the doorframe, was able to ice up her fist and punch the door out. With the light streaming in, she gave Leeroi one final glare before stepping out.
"With everything I have to deal with, you'd be the one paying." she huffed.
Hemera then remembered she heard Kolako make noise before. She was ready to worry, but saw that the younger troll had a big smile on her face, and...the dead end was gone! "Kolako! Did you do that? That's amazing!" She even clapped a little in joy. Something was going right for once, thank god.

Leeroi felt cold hands on his chest. There she was. If there was any light to see, she might have noticed a genuine smile on his face. But there wasn't, so she got to hear one last terrible joke. "Mmm, so you are handsy," He hummed a tiny laugh, following behind Hemera and out the door.
Once outside, he congratulated the brownblood for clearing the path. "Good going, wild card!" He cheered, offering the kid a fist bump. "Now let's keep moving!" He added, ushering everyone to continue down the hallway.
While she wasn't expecting such intense excitement with every punch, the fact still stood that she was managing to hit for as much as she could. She was thankful she'd brought her gauntlets along-- If she hadn't, she didn't even want to know where she'd be, right now. Maybe curled in a dead end, sobbing or somehow in pain.
...Who was she kidding. That would never happen, especially with Forera as the troll in question! She was way too cool for that. HP: 10 HP Military Level Gauntlets Adept Agility Style B Artifact (1) Novice Offensive Style B Trinket (1)
Rastin Morden is DENYING TREATMENT, SMALL CHILD PLEASE NO. NO ATTACK THIS ROUND.
Though he wouldn't admit it, Rastin was apprehensive to let Mahmud go. However, if he wanted a bit of space after all of that, the purpleblood understood. He still had a look of concern for the younger troll, though, and was more than keen on ignoring his injuries in favor of taking care of anything that might be hurting Mahmud.
So, when the boy came up to him and started dabbing at him with his shirt, the teenager blushed and gently nudged him back.
"I'm fine, really! There's no need to fuss over me!" He laughed, albeit awkwardly. He wasn't used to having anyone take care of him, excluding CatDad of course. It was a little embarrassing. Plus, Mahmud was a child. Rastin was the one who was supposed to take care of him, not the other way around. "But, it's very nice to meet you, Mahmud." He paused, glancing up to Harpommy. "As well as you, Harpommy. I'm sure my lusus, CatDad, would have been very happy to meet you. ... Given the circumstances, I'm kind of relived that he decided to stay home where it's safe."
"Uh... I suppose I came here to help?" He answered, his brows furrowing. "I mean, I was with a friend of mine, a child not much older than you are. With all of the crowds and lasers, I'm not surprised we got separated again. I hope he and his lusus are alright, wherever in this maze they are."
He paused, again, at Mahmud's last question and gave the corridor a once over. Well, there wasn't anywhere to turn and the only way they could move was forward... So the most logical answer was up? He squinted and took a breath.
"I... Think we should go up. That's really the only way we can go for now." He said, giving Mahmud a pat on the head. "But, to say I know how to navigate anything around here would be a lie. I'm as lost as you, and likely everyone else trying to help out here, are. However, I don't think we're going to get much figured out by staying in place, and going back would lead us right back into danger. So... Let's stick together and we'll figure this out as we go along. Sound reasonable enough?"

Akkira was going to open with, 'HEy i know you! the wrecking ball!' but what came out of her mouth was a disgusted grunt. That smell was just so strong. "BIs that smell coming from you?" She asked reproachfully, Normally she would be welcoming to new scents and she was sure she could find a way to appreciate the smell at some point, but right now it was really wrecking her senses.
"Beejus, what did you fall in to make you smell like this? I think I'm going to go scent blind too." Akkira finally pinched her sniff node with her hand. Meanwhile her lusus came dragging herself in, that mouth on the creature's stomach trying to grind away at a metal something or other only to spit it out and hum at the blind Troll.
"O-kay. That's good..." Sephos looked uneasily back at his lusus, who was still attacking the building they were in. Was this a good idea? Should he try to leave? "Thanks... Ri." he said, belatedly realizing that he should care about the scared look on his face. It was a funny thing to think about his face. It felt odd to think about it, especially, at this time. "I'll... I guess I'll try." He didn't know why he should care, though, but she was... confident? And that confidence was convincing.
Maku wedged his finger-like branches into any cracks he could find in the wall and pulled. Was she here to destroy these robots as well, he asked the other botanically inclined lusus.

Sascha glanced down at Akkira, still managing to keep up despite, well, everything. She was tenacious, Sascha could give her that much. He also couldn't blame her for being turned off by the chemical stench of his clothing.
"Some kind of cleaning solution. Feels about as strong as it smells. Surprised it hasn't disinfected my boots clean off my legs," Sascha grumbled as the pair made their way through the construction site.
Another rough slam, another accurate kick. It was easy to get the hang of this surprisingly coordinated beat up, and with her team of ragtag trolls by her side, they looked almost cool. One hit from each of the crew, all in a row, and sometimes they managed to all slam it all at once. They moved like a well oiled machine! It brought a certain feeling of accomplishment to the tealblood and her blood pusher felt actually excited about it. She'd have to meet up with the trolls here more often, that was for sure! ROUND 5
As you push farther, you happen to glance out one of the gaping, unfinished walls. You can see down below, trolls gathered around the site, a few waving their arms in either support or warning. Their faces are slightly blobby from the distance, and you realize how far up the construction site you've climbed.
All trolls gain one use of second wind.

Boss Attack
As you walk down the hall, the ceiling above you begins to lower. Not only above you - but in front and behind of you as well. As you rush forwards, grills slide up infront and behind of you, blocking you from progressing further down the hall!
If you rolled a 1, you panic and grab the bars of the grill, shaking them frantically. At the last moment, one snaps and you claw your way between them. One of your legs gets caught between the lowering ceiling and the floor, and you're only able to get free by slipping out of your shoe. Take 3 dmg, and 1 damage each roll after until a support power is used on you.
If you rolled a 2, you remember how fragile the previous traps have been, and begin to tear apart the walls and floor in search of circuits to destroy. All you seem to find is unrelated power cords that give you nasty shocks, and you end up having to squeeze through a hole in the grill, torn open by another troll fleeing the trap. Take 2 dmg, and 1 damage each roll after until a support power is used on you.
If you rolled a 3, you test how strong the ceiling is by bracing your back and shoulders against it when it gets low enough, and pushing back. The ceiling rumbles, creaks, pops, and eventually stops pushing down on you, but not before giving you the backache of the century.Take 2 dmg, and 1 damage each roll after until a support power is used on you.
If you rolled a 4, you wait till the ceiling is close enough, then tug and tear at it with your weapon and hand, pulling them back to reveal the inner workings. These you violently destroy, until the pannel above you shivers into stillness, and the grill ahead of you flops down. Take 1 dmg, and 1 damage each roll after until a support power is used on you.
If you rolled a 5, you run to one end of the penned-in cage, then charge at the grill on the other end, sending it popping out of the floor, and you tumbling into a safe stretch of the hall. Take 2 dmg.
If you rolled a 6, you hurry over to the grill and shove either your weapon, or any old piece of metal in between it and the floor, levering it out with a pop. Talk about shoddy construction. You continue quickly down the hallway as the ceiling slams into the floor behind you. Take 1 dmg.
"I would prefer you didn't give Kolako false reports about me," Hemera snapped. "Honestly." She rolled her eyes and looked over at Koko. "I promise you, it was nothing like that. I can't even begin to list in how many ways I wouldn't act that level of inappropriate. But," she crossed her arms and looked everyone over. "We made it, which is what's important. Odd that we haven't seen any other trolls in a while, however." Very strange indeed. If they somehow managed to get to their final destination all on their own, or found the culprit...she wasn't sure. There was Leeroi and his shotgun, there was herself, there was Koko and her lusus. A motley crew. Perhaps they would have a chance?
She sighed. If she thought about that kind of pressure for too long, the tealblood would get a headache. She chose a different headache to focus on again. "How is your arm doing?" Hemera asked Leeroi.
