Natash Boelli & Angel
HP: 24/40

"Miss Fins? Most people call me Gnash or if you were looking for my actual name it is Natash Boelli, and Gnash is just the thing I am called as a nickname!" She looked over the trolls Austri pointed out. So these four were a group! With a hierarchy, it seemed. And Lorata was the name of the big seadweller so she was probably the leader, and she liked to help make heroes. What a noble cause! It was so much more appealing than what her lusus wanted her to do. She grinned, and then closed her mouth, remembering her teeth. "It's nice to meet you, Austri. Lorata is really pretty, isn't she?" Gnash whispered, not wanting to talk about someone so loudly right next to them, but she was a bit jealous. She wasn't pretty like that at all.

------------
Gnash was always a bit claustrophobic. Closing spaces weren't too frequent in the ocean, and the inside of her lusus's mouth was always a bit terrifying, now. So, when grills starting closing in on her, she began to panic and thrashed at the bars and pulled with her strong robotic arms, ripping a whole straight through it just enough to slip through. She was glad she never wore shoes, as her foot moved out with just a quick tug. Her lusus crashed behind her, moving her forward. Gnash stood still for a second, steadying her breathing. That was close, she thought.

Natash dealt 4 damage to the Defense AI.
She is going RIGHT!

Amonee Brycer
HP: 7/20
Damage: 3
Direction: Right

Where was he? One moment, Nucleo had been right beside him. The next, he was gone without a trace. Amonee's chest felt tight and anxious as the jadeblood looked back and forth down the corridor he'd found. He couldn't leave without his friend. If something happened to the other greenblood, he would not be able to bear it.

"Cleo? Are you there?" One step forward and suddenly the tower surged to life. Amonee barely managed to catch the ceiling before it hit him. His nails dug into the panel and he tugged at it in an effort to yank it off whatever track it was on. Uncovering the inner workings of the mechanism, he reached in to rip and tear at them in order to prevent it from happening to the next troll sure to follow. He had to minimize injuries. There would be no rain of fire and destruction on his watch.

Was that someone else's footsteps? Could it be Nucleo?

"There you are! Wait, no, you're... from Bloodfest, right? Odette isn't here, is she?" The other troll was familiar, from the Starlight booth. He remembered seeing the greenblood working closely with idol Odette and the thought of such an important and inspirational celebrity here at a time like this was incredibly stressful. It was good to see Aandes again but he wished it hadn't happened in these circumstances. Nucleo probably would've liked to have met him again too. Wait- oh gosh, Nucleo was still missing!

"Have you seen another greenblood around? We got separated and I'm freaking out-"

Boss Attack

A series of catwalks lies before you - tragically an underdeveloped and unfinished part of the Space Ladder. Some of the chunks of bridge are still missing, so you'll need to take care while crossing going up each level!

If you rolled a 1, your feet go through a weak spot in the floor and send you careening onto the level below. You hope nothing is broken as you stagger back to where you started, exhausted and in severe pain. Take 5 dmg.

If you rolled a 2, a dangling electrical wire catches you as you try to make your way across the dangerous bridge. You are severely burned! Occasionally you feel an exhilerating zip through your bones. Take 3 dmg, and 1 damage each roll after until a support power is used on you.

If you rolled a 3, one of your feet busts through the ground and rips up the sides of your legs as you half-fall. You'll need to get some help to get up; hope you have a travel buddy! Take 2 dmg, and 1 damage each roll after until a support power is used on you.

If you rolled a 4, you loose a few winged squeakbeasts! They descend upon you in droves. Take 4 dmg and deal +2 damage.
so
If you rolled a 5, you take advantage of the hanging lights and use them to stabilize yourself. Doing so is very hot, and very painful, but you make it across to the other side! Take 3 dmg and deal +2 damage.

If you rolled a 6, sprinting across the catwalks seems the best option. With surprisingly adept parkour skills in hand, you manage to leap over the barriers, up levels and across bridges with only minor injury. Take 2 dmg. Your attack does double damage.

Nucleo Glatte
HP: 10/20 (second wind)
Damage: N/A
Direction: N/A

Metal hands clawed at his hair, disorienting and dazed in the darkness. Nucleo yelled, hoping someone could hear him. Thrashing to try and wrestle the figures off of him, it was clear he was getting nowhere quick. Who would have thought it'd be him who needed saving, not Amonee or Xavier or Eilidh?

'C'mon, someone please-' Nucleo winced as he was slowly being crushed from the weight of all of the bots. By themselves they weren't too heavy to lift or be tossed if handled right. When piled like this, they were excruciating- especially the one that kept slapping him in the face. Frustrated at his inability to escape, the greenblood debated his options. No one seemed to be hearing him from inside the closet so getting help from others was out of the question. But what could he do by himself like this?

By himself...

'No I'm not. I'm never alone!' The realization hit him and he sat up instinctively. These bots weren't the only ones who could fight in numbers! Growling, the greenblood let out a yell and began to spawn clones of himself- summoning them to create space between him and the robots. They exploded out of the closet and he scrambled to his feet. Letting the clones handle the rest, he took off running once more.

Going further up wasn't an easy task, specially for a child and a seabear. They carefully trekked up as fast as they could. Both the seadweller and the lusus didn't want to deal with more traps set up by the defense mechanism controlling the tower. While they went up, a few winged squeakbeast approached them in droves. Some of them smack their bodies on Polair's face while others served as a delicious dish for Claud. Can't navigate through the tower on an empty stomach after all. Polair rolled her eyes and tried hard not to smack her palm. Why did he enjoyed to eat so much? Winged squeakbeasts weren't even part of his diet!

Eostre Diazzi
HP: 3/20

Eostre took one look at the catwalks and stopped dead in her tracks. She wiped the sweat off her forehead with the back of her arm. There was no way she'd make it across that in one piece the way she was feeling right now. She needed to breathe and regain her strength... or something. She turned to the hemoanon and handed them some of the pills from her brooch, clasping her hand around theirs. "Here, take this and go on ahead. I'll catch up later, probably be right behind you." She waved dismissively and took a seat, folding her legs underneath her. She could wait just a moment, and find the strength to continue by herself.

Eostre healed Vulpin +10 HP with her Support Artifact A!

Fellah goes RIGHT and attacks.

The redblood found himself practicing a balance act as he came across some exposed beams. Fellah was doing alright for himself, until the squeakbeasts came. "Mother of a milkbeast!" he cried out, flailing around, lucky to not fall to his doom. Eventually the little mob dispersed, and Fellah found that he'd taken some more whacks to the AI.
Up ahead the farmtroll could make out a tired looking troll, a familiar one. That hemoanon guy from the paparazzi! The realization dawned on him that he looked in trouble.
"Hang on there buddy, be there in a jiff!" he called out, starting to rush over.

"Amonee! Where are you?" He'd followed the path as best he could but Nucleo was starting to wonder if he was going the right way. While he was still concerned with turning off the bomb, now the greenblood's second goal was to find his jadeblood friend. Just in case anything happened, you know? He didn't want to leave the painter alone, especially in such a stressful situation. In fact, he didn't really want to be running around by himself either. The greenblood considered creating another clone to travel with him but decided against it. He didn't know when he would next need to use that power and didn't want to be out of energy when the time eventually came. In his distraction, the greenblood walked straight into an electrical wire and experienced quite the wake up call! Okay, he needed to start paying attention!

As he caught up to the blueblood and redblood he had been travelling with before, he noticed they had rejoined another group over the catwalk, many of which looked unfamiliar. Ephias peered out into the ravine. His vision swam. Dark shapes jumped up at him from its depths. He did not reel back, but watched them, uncertain. After several seconds they faded into nothingness. His lookstubs were merely playing tricks on him.

Pulling away, Ephias took a deep breath. The longer he took going across the catwalk, the more chance he stood to make a mistake. Going across it quickly would be his best option. In his sleep-deprived state that seemed logical... despite that his balance was questionable.

Once the way was clear, Ephias wasted no time and sprinted across.

Chiara turned around and watched the redblood boy flounder his way across the catwalk. "There you are!" Chiara said, putting a hand on her hip. "I was a little worried youd changed your mind on this thing." The blueblood shrugged and turned back the way she was going. "Would be a shame to have to find some other redblooded nerd to fill the perfect nitch in this party." Chiara nodded and continued. She was feeling a lot more confident with the other redblood in her company. He was stoic, kind of boring, and silent as a rock, but hey, he was a good troll. She would have to keep tabs on him after they all got out of this place.

Flydra Dromen
HP: 18/40 (lusus)
Damage: 4
Direction: Up

Logically, the height of the catwalks looming over vast empty space with no safety net to catch her should have scared the young troll. But Flydra peered over the edge with a curious interest. As long as she was careful, there really was nothing to be afraid of after all. If they took precautions not to fall, there was no danger. Besides, Austri was here. If someone fell off, their resident whirlwind could fly over and rescue them. Scorpa was also an option with her tendency to sacrifice herself for the safety of the higherbloods. She really was a good yellowblood doing all the right things. Flydra could not imagine a better lowblood soldier than her dear friend.

"I'm crossing now. Please don't shake the boards." She climbed on Hydraddy's back and the lusus began to walk through the maze of catwalks. It felt a lot safer up here while someone else had to do the difficult part of balancing. Flydra rubbed Hydraddy's back appreciatively and sat with a content expression on her face. Until the dangling electrical wire she'd failed to notice coiled around her and she squirmed, stuck in the air, as her lusus unknowingly continued on.

"What an embarrassing miscalculation." Through gritted teeth, Flydra swung back and forth on the cable like a vine, trying to get enough momentum to propel her to the other side to avoid having to drop down onto the catwalks. Physical exercise was not her forte however and it took her some time before she felt bold enough to let go and make the jump.

Landing on the other side with a thud, Flydra laid there for a minute to recover, her mind still spinning with all the potentially disastrous outcomes that could have been.

Military Grade Partisan

The higher up they went, the less structured the building was. More and more walls seemed to have been left unfinished and gaping, and occasionally even the floors seemed unstable. As the group whirled the corner of the stairwell to find their next intersection, though, they were faced with the worst example of the the space ladder's unfinished state yet. The path ahead was little more than a series of catwalks, pieces of bridges missing entirely here and there. They would need to be careful about this, especially since a fall could very well kill a troll from this height.

She moved across slowly and carefully, trying to keep her weight well distributed when the ground beneath her feet seemed less than safe. It worked well for a time, until she approached a missing piece. No choice but to jump. When she landed on the other side, though, the floor gave beneath her heel. The seadweller screamed, partisan clattering to the floor ahead as she scrambled for purchase to keep from falling all the way through.

Eyes watering from fear and the pain of the scrapes her legs had taken on the way through, Lorata held on for her life. "S-Sirens! Someone! Help!"

"I've got you!" Scorpa shouted, horrified at the sight of Flydra swinging on an electrical cable like a jungle vine. Then Lorata fell through the ground and was scrambling to stay within sight. ********! No, this would not be how they ended. The Sirens were her everything and damned if she would lose it all like this. She would give everything to save them. Snarling profanities under her breath, the yellowblood approached the scene knowing immediately what she had to do. As the second seadweller with the pretty light purple colored arms fell, the urgency of the problem caused her to act even more outrageously to solve the problem.

"Hold on tight!" Scorpa yelled to the dangling tealblood and reached down to yank the cable, ignoring the electrical jolts it shot through her. She pulled on it to start some momentum and then once it was going fast enough, began to swing it in an arc at the two seadwellers. If they timed it just right, they could catch a ride to the other side by letting go and grabbing hold.

"Lorata! Shiny! Jump on!" Scorpa yelled once more, hoping they'd figure it out and then make it across thanks to her insanely risky plan. Then she began to run towards them, across the catwalk, ignoring the danger of going fast. She'd be the backup if they missed their chance or anything else went wrong. Her foot punched through the ground and she began to fall as well but grabbed hold of the catwalk and performed a crazy somersault type flip to escape. Her experimentation with parkour was coming in handy!
