He was never going to see this coming. Not when he was completely passed out in the middle of the Oshu City Diner, splayed across a table with his head buried in his hands and the complete silence in the room helping to lull him into such a false sense of security that he could rest where he was with such a gentle ease. His predator stalked nearby and snickered to himself as he walked around his prey, a bucket of water in one hand and a very amused-looking Clotho standing to his hand's other side, feeding him ice cubes as she froze the water in the sink methodically, making sure that he had every last thing that he needed ready for the prank that was about to come. And yes, this prank was a doozy. Yesterday had been rather ridiculous, what with the shaving cream, the feather, and Nito's horrific cries of frustration thereafter.
Today was going to be worse. Much worse.
Smoothly sinking each ice cube into the bucket without making a sound, it was getting incredibly hard to stay silent with so much ice in the water now...making it positively frostbitten inside! He tried not to chuckle again and got into place over his target...bucket of ice water slowly tipping, ever-so-close now...a peaceful, sleeping face just beneath the gently trickling water edging closer and close to dripping out of the bucket, and then...

A few more demons were picked off as they rampaged through the growing wastes. Just how many demons were there, anyway? She was pretty sure she'd killed enough to man an actual army - not exaggerating. It didn't seem to be slowing them down at all, though, and they remained fearless despite the power she'd amassed.

Not so far away, Kisa came to a stop as she saw two powerful demons on a rampage below - one spreading flames, the other disease, both seeming to glory in attacking even other demons. After a few moments, both noticed her and smirked... but didn't bother to approach any closer. Maybe their lord had given them some orders...? Either way, she scowled, but moved on before they could chance their minds.
