"Show me a hero, and I will write you a tragedy"He was rushing fast through the alleys, mostly untouched, but as he reached the street he found the last bit of path blocked by a massive...what looked like a manatee? Was that...Forneus before him? It hovered ominously before him, and he flexed his wrist painfully, raising his sword again without hesitation to face down this enemy that was between he and his friends. Genji needed him...Minori needed him...and that red-haired thing would not take the people he cared about from him! Maybe he had been wrong to leave them, but this is the sort of thing he was trying to avoid, and he was just so close to them when it happened...was this his fault from the beginning?
He moved in a flash, bringing his sword down in a smooth arch that clove the devil in two and reduced it to magatsuhi before he turned his attention towards the two in the distance and the possible tragedy before them. He had to make it in time...he had to. He would not let his 'Big Sis' down again...not let her suffer that pain of loss if he could help it in any way, shape, or form!

The girl rested on the ground once more, circling through her list of demons with a small, giddy expression.
"I can command demons like these now.." she called to herself, cycling through. From the being Matador, [whose cape was amazing, by the way], to the powerful sun goddess, Amaterasu. She felt more than a touch giddy at this, yet...
'There's still a matter to be settled." she called to herself after at ime, dusting herself off...and preparing for combat. The girl could feel her pulse quickening...Her adrenaline pumping....and, when her demons appeared at her side, a touch of pride.
"To arms.." she called, hoisting the cape over her head...and gesturing forward. After all, if a horde was coming for her...It would only be fair to repay in kind. Slashes of weapons, rushes of flame, and bursts of magic....
The girl had more than a passing interest in administering defeat into the enemies that faced them...And more than a touch of pleasure at getting to cut them down ruthlessly.
"I..better tone it down, or I'll turn into a weird person." she called to herself, as Amaterasu burned the last foe..and she brushed her hands off.

"Show me a hero, and I will write you a tragedy"By the time he reached their side, Minori was already on the case...casting her magic to try and revive the fallen Genji against the ruins of the Textile Shop. They had been through so much, that this was almost routine for them...but in his heart and mind he wished it hadn't been. The two of them were so innocent, their budding relationship so pure and sweet that he wanted to protect them, to let them go and live and be happy...but the insanity in this world would simply not release them from its grasp. He sighed and stood behind her, watching on in hopes that she would manage to save him in spite of the severity of his injuries. She was strong...and he was tough enough to endure this, he was certain. But for now, he could only trust them to do just that...survive. His hand settled on his 'sister's' shoulder as he comforted her, reassured her that everything would be fine. And when the pink-haired young man's eyes slowly opened, he let out a breath he didn't know that he was holding. Genji would live...and Minori would still be safe from his loss.
That was all he needed for now. All he needed...but not the end. Out there in the shadows somewhere was Tala, the Chaotic Fiend, just waiting for his next window to strike. And next time...next time, Soji wanted to be the one to greet him...with a fist filled with the defiance of humanity.

Youmu KonpakuThe girl had no sooner taken out one horde...then did another appear. She groaned slightly in mock annoyance, as she placed her hand on her blade once more.
"You really are gluttons for punishment.." she called to herself quietly, before lunging at the foes, Sarutahiko using his own blade..and Setanta using his spear to pierce through their guards. It was another drawn out, vicious battle.....And, just like before, the girl had managed to pull out a victory.
"Yes.." she cheered to herself, fist-pumping slightly. She could feel it...She was strong....

The girl had managed to find herself some meat buns....That had been cooked...but were starting to grow cold. It wasn't the best kind of meal to have...But, any port in a storm, yeah?
She ate the meal graciously, letting energy flow into her body as she stretched her arm.

Her foe this time was something unlike anything she'd faced before. An Agent of the warring factions...However small a role they had...It was enough to meet the mysterious voice's interests...And enough for her to fight.
"I'm fine..I'll overcome this." she called to herself, before starting forward, and hoisting her blade. "Let's go, Amaterasu."
The brilliant, beautiful woman emerged...and she held up her weapon.
"You shall fall!" she called out confidently, the roar of flames signalling the start of their battle. She fought it admirably, and her demons may have fallen one by one....But..
When the chips were down, her quick draw was enough for her to end the battle. A small sigh of relief escaped her lips, as she held up her phone.

She was tired, she was worried, she was... she just wanted this to end. Green eyes turned to look at silver ones, almost as if pleading...and that was when she heard the breath coming from the pink haired heir. She let out a breath she had been holding, before turning back to Soji. "Please be careful... Soji...you don't have to do this on your own."

Youmu KonpakuThe silverette was prepared this time, when the horde of demons struck. She held her blade in one hand, and the capote in the other.
"I'm not.." she called, beckoning them forth with her cape. "Going to let you hurt anyone else!"
She twirled, and slashed with the weapon...Moving as her summon had. The girl felt an air of confidence swell into her as she cut through demon after demon, making a path, and an example out of them. She could feel herself losing a bit to the bloodlust...But, she eventually reigned it in, letting her demons finish up.
"I'm getting strong..but, I still need to keep my eyes open." the girl called out to herself, looking over her phone. "Who can I get to help me..."

But, with her new power..with all of her energy.and strength..She could save her. She could befriend her....And she could ensure this sort of thing didn't happen again..

 KisaThis was getting really, REALLY old... and Kisa was panting harder than she wanted to admit as Youmu helped her up. She glared at a blob that had been about to attack the two of them a moment later, and wisely rethinking what had almost been a fatal mistake, it opted to join Kisa instead as she filled Youmu in on what she'd seen thus far. KisaShortly after parting ways with Youmu, Kisa managed to find - and partner with - an aquatic spirit. This one actually seemed rather friendly, as the elementals were wont to be, and she couldn't help but remember that guy Ciela had told her about... some kind of elemental summoner. Well, either way, this would do for now. The bigger question was where she was going to go next. "Oh..hello." she called, readying her weapon. "Scathach...Is it time for our lesson?"
The shadowy figure emerged beside Youmu at this, knelt over...but no less imposing as the master of Cu Culian should be."Yes..Konpaku."The girl gave a small smile, before lunging for her foe, the two lashing in mirrored movements....The foe falling before it even knew what had hit it. The girl sheathed her blade once more, before turning around and bowing to the demoness.
"Thank you for the lesson, Sensei."'Thank you for being a promising student, Konpaku. Perhaps we should call you the Hound of Inaba?""ahaha..I don't know about that..."
No sooner had the thought escaped her lips, did a being emerge on her phone again....A being with scissors and string....The demoness that was in charge of a person's life..and when it ended.

KisaThe answer to that question? Straight into a horde of demons that came around the corner and charged at her. Fortunately, she had a solid base of support to help her this time around, and she was able to make short work of the group of demons before picking up the pace. Her body was still aching, but that was only to be expected after all she'd gone through.
