Hydra looks slighty bewildered at his open discussion,"Uh yea.. and thats nice to know???", okay she wasn't used to all the attention I mean she was a music makers daughter back in Atlantica and she didn't really mingle much with the royal sisters was that one over there? She thought she saw tritons daughter Arista but it could just be some blonde with blue eyes... But why was she so familiar?... She looks back at Albert stating,"My name is Hydra Iridescent sorry you had me caught off guard with the whole transfer thing..", she laughed alittle nervously.

Student (Junior) Albert smiled toward Hydra. She was beautiful. "Hydra, you look so beautiful tonight like a princess, I hope we can see each other in class tomorrow & it's nice to meet you." Albert holds her hand & twirls her around then takes her hand. "Will you be my princess tonight?" Albert was happy that he got to dance with someone.

Princess Arista Atlan Triton's Fifth Daughter ?˜?Profile?˜? I want to go on an adventure... Arista silently sighed, she knew something was up, she could feel it but did not know what. "I am here if you need me." She smiled as they followed the music.
She chucked suggesting teasingly "I could find a distraction or something to do to you if you start overthinking if you like." Hearing his heart beat as her head lay on his chest she felt more relaxed but at the same time more nervous "there is no need to apologise."
His words echoed a bit in her mind before she asked, feeling the need to get it clarified because she wasn't use to people outside her family relating to her or being genuinely happy she was there because he sight childishness was not approved of "you do?"
Feeling a twinge of pain in her heart when he said he hadn't been truthful to her, her heart sunk "oh." So many had lied to her because of her statues but now there wasn't a reason to lie to her so why. When he bowed his head to hers to whisper she half wanted to run and avoid hearing an answer that may crush her spirits but a part of trusted him in a way she knew she had to know. Is first words made her a bit scared and made her think of pirates and fisherman but as the word 'princess' touched her ear a moment of great realization came to her. He was from her kingdom and a merman. "the formality, the name, the description of where your from, the restriction of clothes, the cluelessness about the food and culture, it all makes sense. I feel familiar around you and it is comforting or is it was?" She looked up at him feeling betrayed however there was still something keeping her in his arms "did seeing who I was matter? I am a princess, my title is the only thing that makes people try and stick around but they usually leave when they see my personality. Why haven't you? Is the position that endearing though you don't seem like the type o want fame or fortune. I do not know our subjects well, so I apologize that I did not recognise you. I am unsure what to think. Are you a prince I do not know of or is that fabrication too?" She sighed resting he forehead blow his collarbone "now.. now my mind and feelings are fighting with one another." ...but what about the rules? What are my thoughts: He is charming

She watched him casually give him a smile,"Well I hope to see you in class tomorrow as well..", she answered back politely as possible, she ignored the princess part seeing it as a compliment and making no comment as she tells him,"Sorry If I seemed odd for a bit it was just me feeling off I suppose...", she states as they dance,"I'm actually more of a music player than a princess though". Well that was the truth she made instruments with her parents and went there during the weekend so she got to live in the human and Mer world together it was an experience of a life time.

 Alaka'i shook his head. "No-- the formality is because I was taught to be polite by my mother. The only thing I lied about was where I'm from. But it wasn't because of you-- it's because I don't want anyone to know. I don't want them to treat me any differently than they would treat any of their other human friends. And the only reason I'm telling you now is so that you don't feel liked to later if... if we... " He was embarrassed to say that he was starting to like her, especially with the current topic of conversation. "I'm not interested in fame or in fortune. All I'm interested in is adventure and learning. I wanted to ignore the fact that you were a princess because I left Atlantica to get away from what I know and do something new and exciting... but I do respect what you are and I felt you should know the truth." Being completely honest with her, he went on. "You were the last person I expected to run into in the human world... and the last thing I expected was for a princess to be anything like you. And I'm impressed. It is rare for royalty to take interest in things and people outside of their own kingdom, and even more rare for them to do what you have done and show a true interest in people that would otherwise be seen as not worth your time. I guess I expected a princess would be... well... smug." He added gently, hoping she wouldn't take offense. "And no, I'm not a prince. But to be fair I wasn't the one who said I was, you did. I'm subject to you and your family... so I understand if knowing that changes everything."

She looked over at him before answering casually,"I like to swim",well that was true in the least,"Play music as well", she confessed that much she loved playing music! "I enjoy the night as well.. looking up at the moon and the stars the dark waves of the ocean...",she smiled,"The soft glow of the coral reef in the water.. I do enjoy the ocean alot", she comments giving him a nod,"But I must say.. what do you like?", she asked trying to throw the questions back on him.

So he liked 80's music? She wasn't sure about her preferences when it came to music she was a variety type but when you live in a kingdom that is full of music you can't just pick one I mean right? She noted he also liked to read.. she was usually to busy to read so she never got to sit down and enjoy a book but she appreciated that people had time for that... She stops thinking when he asks her to sing,"Oh no..", she said slightly shy,"I don't sing I'm okay... but I don't sing", she shook her head. She played music thats what she liked to do best and thats what she was good at i mean all mermaids could sing as far as she was concerned but she just wasn't that kind of mermaid.

"Hydra, we have a music class and I would love to hear your singing voice one day. I'm sure it would be beautiful, what instruments do you play & I hope we can be friends."

Hydra smiled at him,"Well when I'm not busy I like to read Historical fiction", she explained,"Usually Medieval story themes dragons, Knights in shiny armor, Damsels in distress", she noted that he said they had a music class and her eyes lit up,"Thats nice i love you play instruments.. as far as singing I guess... but like I said I'm not that big into singing...", she laughed,"Im sure we can be friends a bit excited aren't you?", she comments amused,"I play a variety of instruments my parents..", she stops well she wasn't ready to explain that she was a mermaid and that her parents lived in Atlantica and such she just stated,"I've lived around Instruments my whole life, my favorites though are Guitar, Piano, Violin, and the harp", she explained.

She thought for a moment while they continued to dance,"My evening is doing well", she comments with a smile she assumed he was over hyper and had forgotten that they already discussed what she liked to do for fun.. She didn't enjoy their dance though she never got to do stuff like this at all she was always so busy, working on land or sea and so she never had time for friends or anyone really... it was sad in ways but she just excepted her life a long time ago. Work, work, work. She wished it wasn't always like that but.. I mean she could make more time for herself if she wanted it wasn't like she couldn't it was just work was the best distraction when you don't have friends.

Student (Junior) The Dance between Hydra and Albert was going pretty good. "Hydra, what's your favorite subject in school & what do you do as a part-time job?" He felt sorry for her being a busy student or not having friends. "Hydra, I have some good friends; There's Todd, Amy, Sandy, Arista, Penny, even Chral."

She slowly felt the iceberg of her exterior begin to chip away as she happily explained,"I work as a waitress at a resturant around here for part time I usually go after school and work for a few hours and then.. Well I'm really busy on the weekends so I don't get to hang out with anyone", she explained alittle bummed,"My favorite subject? I'd have to say... history", she smiled,"I love historical ficition so it makes sense", she laughed alittle,"Oh cool you have friends? Woah thats alot", she explained alittle surprised,"I uh.. have a few...", well if you count dolphins.. she thought to herself, but she didn't like to exclude her sea animal friends they were important but I mean if you considered real people or mer friends she didn't have any she was usually to busy.
