Alexandria

The squire paused, turning away from rubbing the salve into one of Harmonia's arms to listen as someone (Aegir) started chewing out Paris. But as he was about speak up, Chris beat him too it. He watched, with a small cringe as Chris threw the tiny vial at the senshi.

God ******** damn it.

He turned back to Harmonia with a clenched jaw and finished what was left of the salve, listening as Chris talked to him. He didn't say anything to the brunette at first. Tending to Harmonia before passing her off to Paris and asking her to keep an eye on the senshi, before turning back to his friend.

He couldn't believe he was about to say any of this.

"Do it your ******** self, Chris." Alex hissed quietly, trying not to draw attention to himself.. "He (Scholomance) wasn't the ******** other one, or did you forget what I did with Laurelite after Paris passed out? What the hell else I've been through?" The Squire glared at the man. "I've been trying to help you both from the start. Why do you think gave you those? But you... You both just keep shooting me down. So you know what? I'm done. I'm not helping anyone else. If you want to give that vial away, so be it. It's yours to do with. I gave Sessrumnir the last two vials I had. I'm out." Alex shrugged, waving a hand. "Get together with him if you want the others. I doubt he's used them." A part of Alexandria didn't think the knight would, even if he'd asked. "I won't have anymore till I get to Jupiter so what you see is what you get. Use them or don't. I don't ******** care anymore and I'm done wasting my time trying to. You've just wasted one vial. I suggest trying not to waste what's left." The Squire stood and let his henshin drop before walking off from the group. He couldn't do this right now and he didn't have the energy to even try.

"Thanks FuzzFace..." Ash's communication felt like a small safety line, a way to contact the forces they might need to safely transport the worst to hospitals, and concoct plausible tales of the city's, unfortunately near common place problem with monsters (the youma) to cover the bizarre injuries. Then again, he'd seen so many faces some days, he'd be half surprised if they didn't accidentally discover one day that the entire place was powered, from the first citizen to the last.

Anyway it was better than listening to the growing arguments, which he was entirely too damn tempted to jump in on, even if he was only hearing parts of snippy conversations over the general background noises of the wounded, and his own distracted thoughts.

Cosmos did have a good point though. They had to figure out what to do with the Code... and he had no idea. It would be simple enough to say, take it to Olympus, or even to prop it up at his own Wonder like some kind of terrible trophy. Hell, it might even fit in a camping lantern. He could pull a Babylon impression or something....

But it wasn't just his decision to make. It belonged to all knights, having once been part of the Academy, and they needed to find someplace it was safe, but also accessible, and to determine if it was now... right.

"I handled one of the crystals Caedus used for the portal." He volunteered, even though he would have preferred to shout at someone, if only because shouting seemed giddily cathartic right now. "Whatever he is... he didn't... feel... like the kind of things that come out of the Rift... for whatever that does for you."

"...We've lost people for less than this... and badly..." He added, the last barely over a mutter, gripping his off hand around the leather belting on his uniform. He could still feel that brief, searing brush of moving wire. See the girls terrified eyes, begging for help. At least this time they'd known people might die.

"Don't suppose you've got anything to say about all this." He grumbled, more audibly, to the Code piece on his lap. "Or do you only work when you're... I don't know... stationed somewhere?"

Palatine, Squire of Venus

When the Senshi in purple and white walked off, Palatine stared after her for a few moments to make sure she was okay. She seemed to be walking fine, so that lessened Palatine's worries. With the girl's words in mind, Palatine glanced around to search for anyone else who might need help. Some were already being assisted by others. There were many people who could probably make good use of her tea, but Palatine's attention inevitably wandered to a back corner of the courtyard, where her niece slumped against the ground.

Palatine went to her and knelt on the ground in front of her.

“Let me see your hands,” she said. From what she could tell even by a cursory glance, Varuna's hands had suffered some from the flaming dragon.

“We can head to the hospital once this is over,” Palatine continued. “I want to stay for a while and see what's going to happen with the Code. And everything else. Looks like Paris is causing trouble as usual.”

Not that Palatine could completely blame her, given what she'd heard drifting back, but she wished Paris was better at holding herself back from a confrontation.

“But if you want to leave now, we can,” she added. Then, with a look of sympathy, she said, “You did good tonight. Thank you, even if I wish you hadn't gone. Are you holding up okay?”

Sabine, Senshi of Tactics

Sabine had nodded to the woman, and then slowly backed away to rejoin Kairatos who seemed... Upset. More so than she had ever seen him before and that worried her. Sinking back down onto the floor she hugged her knees to herself, giving Kai a little space so he could vent if he needed to. She wouldn't have minded if Arthur wanted to return to her side, even if she had violated the cardinal rule of moving a cat that was laying on you.

A part of her felt she had betrayed Sir Caedus in saying what she had said to Cosmos. But, was it betrayal if the intentions were good? Cosmos just wanted to know more about him after all. What was the harm in telling her his history? Or at least, as much of it as she knew.

Still, she wasn't sure what else to do, and when Hugbell's stuffed bear came nearby, Sabine blinked, but was quick to accept any hugs the Bear was willing to give her. "Thank you..." She murmured to the bear, before she let it get back on its way. "I needed that..."

She really, really had.

Corinth, Page of Neptune

Corinth nodded, accepting the embrace from Dallol, he was relatively unharmed himself as well. A few cuts and scratches here and there from the youma they had fought once they'd gotten out of the Academy. He smiled down at her though, and he shook his head. "I'm alright, I promise..." He kept an arm around her as he looked around, trying to figure out where they were. As it stood, he wasn't even sure what had happened. But he'd take what he could get.

"I'm just... glad we're alive."

Sailor Chibi Ambrosia

Ambrosia was confused about Cosmos, and why some people were choosing to get upset with her. She personally felt like even though the women had said she wasn't going to scold them, that she was implicitly. The chibi hung her head a bit, letting the guilt wash over her. This lady had caught them and brought them to safety, at the risk of her own life. But if they hadn't gone at all...

She shook her head until her brown hair flapped wildly. No, even if they hadn't accomplished what they had intended, they learned something.



Never to do that again.


Perdita spoke to them quietly, and Ambrosia eyed Cosmos as well.

"I want to go home...but I want to talk to her. See if she can answer questions and...stuff." she finished lamely. She'd forgotten about the starseeds up until this point. Seeing others giving them to Cosmos, she mumbled "One sec." and shuffled over, pulling her starseeds from her pockets and willing the tohers she had sent away back into her hands. As the starseeds started to flicker and float, she smiled. They hadn't accomplished what they wanted to down there, but they'd done something.

Esquiline- Late to the party!

Her adventure continued as she brightness faded around her, leaving her in an unusual place. Esquiline looked around, and spied the Earth. Her frayed nerves took another hit. Now she was on the freaking Moon.

At least she wasn't alone. But as Esquiline's focus shifted to individuals, she found that most of them were worse for wear. Some seemed close to death. All sported bruises, cuts and burns. She felt a wave of nausea hit her. This could have been her. If she had gone with the rest of them, she could have ended up that way...

And at the forefront of it all, a lovely women in white, being tended to by injured people and what seemed to be a group of Chibis. This women drew the knight's attention the longest. There wasn't much there now, but Esquiline could assume that, in full power, this woman was someone to watch out for.

Broken were mending the broken. She felt around her fuku for something to help, but all she had was the luxurious folds of her skirt and the frills on her sleeves. She saw someone that was removed from the group, and walked over carefully.

"E-excuse me." she said, trying not to startle the woman, whose fuku was a delightful mix of pale blues and whites. She seemed to be burned in a few places. "Are you doing alright? Can I help you somehow?"

Chibi Oort

Oort had been relieved when the Lady (Cosmos) had started to look a little better, although he didn't put it down to anything that he'd done because others had done and continued to do far more than he'd been able to.

Some of the people nearby were yelling, whilst others seemed to just want to sling accusations about and truth be told Oort wanted it to stop.

The accusations, the yelling, the arguments - all of it to just end.

He didn't say anything however as there was waaay too much yelling and arguments and accusations as is.

Instead he somewhat shuffled to the side so that he was out of the way of anyone who might still be trying to hand back starseeds and sat down close to Tomlin and still in general proximity of Oberon, Perdita and the rest of the group that he had been with since the his time in the barracks.

He was tired and right now sitting seemed to be much better than standing and he kind of wanted away from all the yelling people.

He turned his attention to the starseeds and to how some them appeared to be floating and sparkling and a part of him felt hopeful that the Lady would be able to get them where they needed to go.

And then he turned his head at Ambrosia's words.

"I want to listen to her" he admitted because whilst the Lady's words about perhaps teaching something appeared to have directed to the cat-eared blue-haired woman, it didn't stop him from from being curious and nor did it stop him from calling out to the Lady quietly if somewhat awkwardly "I.. I'd like to learn."

Hugbell

Hugbell sighed as Kairatos growled at her and she looked at him, almost hurt he took that tone with her, instead of commenting on the tone he'd taken. She sighed instead and shook her head, "I can't help I don't know what the code is, or why it'd be important enough to corrupt. I'm assuming it's a knight thing?"

She shrugged though, everyone was way too on edge so the teen was debating on just shutting up and keeping Cosmos company. Even when Kairatos asked about the kymbya, "Unfortunately the only way Kymbya works is usually getting everyone on the same page. Even then it doesn't mean it'd work as a healing thing."

Hugbell nodded when Thyrmr asked if this was the moon, and added a simple, "Yup."

When Ash had activated her phone Hugbell looked a little startled and impressed, when did cats get phones? That was by far cool, she only knew that ********* at least didn't seem to have one. "Oh I'm glad you have a way to contact everyone." She picked her phone up quickly when it'd gone off with Ash's message."That's so neat how it's like a little holo-board." Her own phone was tucked back into subspace.

Hugbell watched Aegir quietly as he addressed the one he called Paris. The teen just kind of watched and nodded, though she frowned because obviously tempers were still high and she wasn't sure how this helped anyone. Though he was also asking for help for his friend, "If I could help him I would, but I don't think any of my powers would be of use for burns . . . I largely only have means to comfort others . . . " She looked concerned, she was worried about Cosmos but she was also worried for those hurt badly.

Cosmos had told she had done enough and to take care of herself, Hugbell shook her head softly. Even with the reassuring squeeze of her hand "Even if it's later no matter how much, if you still need energy to help you recuperate your own energy, please find me. Okay?" She said softly.

Though when there was a mention of a chance to learn something from her, "I'd like to learn too." The teen chimed in with the others that had said something, about learning what Cosmos had to offer.

Hugbell was watching others bring starseeds and the pile growing, she couldn't help but to think about how many starseeds they'd really found. It was insane. Though it was when she glanced over to Gevaudan she caught his gaze in her direction. The former chibi wondered if he'd really changed, but she didn't spend too long lingering on him, perhaps they'd have a chance to talk one day. He'd also said something about saving face in regards to Cosmos' condition.

Instead she focused on Barnaby and what the stuffed bear was up to. Smiling when Sabine took a hug from the stuffed bear. She was glad that he could help someone, even though he wasn't really that large, probably slightly larger than Arthur; the bear had even offered to give the cat a hug.

Oort's admission he wanted to learn too made Hugbell smile, maybe there'd be enough of them that Cosmos would feel like teaching them. By the time Barnaby came back he'd offered everyone in the area around them hugs, even Cosmos herself.

It was then he stopped in front of Hugbell and she took the ribbon from his neck and tied it on her wrist, atop of her glowing markings that use to be her own ribbons. "Hm. . . I wonder, I doubt using him as a pillow or something to lean against would be advisable, he often shrinks before a minute's up. So he'd not be much use at the current time for that. . . " She was tempted to call her eternal attack, but she wanted to wait just a little bit before she did that. She wanted to do it and hand him off to Cosmos to see what her eternal attack actually did.



Sailor Halley - free for interactions.

Halley had at some point calmed down, though she was still panicked by those shouting and yelling. Throwing fingers at others. The senshi of superstition couldn't help but be worried by it all. Cosmos though had said something about teaching them, and she looked towards the lady dressed in white. Looking curiously over at the growing pile of . . . oh wait was that starseeds?

The senshi eventually, shakily stood up and took to empty her boots and socks into the pile and then back away giving a small curtsy before she did. She didn't want to be too close to the ever growing group and the weak lady.

Halley found herself somewhere uncrowded to sit down and watch, listen. She'd never been in space, nor had she ever been to the moon. So this was all new and once the panic had subsided a little bit, maybe a bit on the cool side. She was still nervous though.

The page of Cosmos had heard the skirmishing and shouts, including one name that drew her closer. Cosmos the woman stopped not wanting to get too close, because she didn't want to over crowd the woman who was in the center of the commotion but she was curious what Cosmos actually looked like.

It actually made her almost ashamed of her outfit. She was so scantly clad compared to the other woman. While she'd been against taking any of this as a true reality it'd become one, and now she served under this woman? Or was it that she was more of a mercenary? Odain wasn't even sure. She'd have to find a chance to talk to this lady at some point in a bit more of depth.



Niflhel - Free for Interactions

Niflhel had decided he'd found a place to stand comfortably in the court yard located near the edge out of the way of others and he'd decided just to watch and listen. There was so much going on the Knight of Saturn didn't really want to involve himself in the main group but he also didn't want to go looking for Snowball. There were too many auras and too many people in general around. He assumed that he could find the guardian cat by standing still and watching.



Snowball - Also Free for Interactions; nearing Cosmos' group

Snowball had actually still not ran into Niflhel as he wondered around the crowd slowly, he was avoiding where Cosmos was as much as he could. Though he seen Ash there along with some other cats Arthur, and Tomlin. He was debating because it seemed to be cat central up there and he was still in human form. He sighed and finally came closer to the whole group. Though he stopped a little ways away.
