Andrew never noticed Gabby. How could he? Gabby was white and snow and surrounded by it. It was already cold. So the very notifications that have warranted noticing the dragon were already there. Besides Andrew had more attention on Olivia who wanted to move on to other things. His wings slumped into a shrug. "Sure...." They could do something unrelated to ice. Though the snow... would probably still melt. oh well. Ok finding things was easier. Andrew stomped around and found some twigs, nudging them them up out of the snow and then carefully using his sleeve to pick them up. he managed to find some frozen carrots too. Having collected materials he brought them to Olivia and set them in a pile. "Here you go." Success. The twigs would make good fire wood if nothing else but he would not burn them yet.

As fun as it was making ice sculptures - or attempting to and then somehow getting it to work through weird incidents and the like - Olivia probably was a little more excited to be making the snowmen. Mostly because it involved stuff. So, when Andrew agreed she did nearly finally grab him by the hand but he began to move on his own accord with her following once again (almost skipping this time).
Andrew already got to work collecting his own materials while she went along herself. A few twigs here, some there, a squished tomato and a snowball. But it just didn't seem like it was enough to make her dorm mascot like she wanted to. And Andrew had already gotten what he needed to make for his. Hm...

She'd just have to collect more stuff! After placing her already gathered pile next to what Andrew had, Olivia made a second round through all that was littered around for them to use. A few more twigs - which was what she really needed, she gathered maybe a bit too many - and another snowball.
Materials finally all gathered, Olivia wordlessly went to work with an eager smile and began building the snow creatures as per the examples she had seen. First up was her own dorm mascot followed by Andrews, since it was obvious he expected her to make it. Not that she had minded, part of her kind of hoped so she could be able to play in the snow just a little bit longer. (How tempting to roll in it. It was so nice and cold). Mounds placed, twigs shoved in and extra tidbits later... two sculptures! "Do you like them? That was fun." She turned to Andrew with that little glimmer in her blue eyes that hoped he did.
"I also have some extra sticks!" She held them out, presenting them in such a manner that well, maybe he could take them but maybe she wouldn't mind if he didn't.

Walking through the pingu's little booth, Spencer smiled and reached up to his antlers, pulling down what looked to be a pompom. Only if one looked closer, it seemed to move just ever so slightly... Looking around, he set it atop a snowman and pat it's little furry ball form before whispering. "Now, be good. Make sure they end up on the nice list this year!" The little ball of fur that was acting as a snowball just remained as it was, waiting for someone to cuddle. Shaving ice I mean making ice sculpture again.....
Fine, dice, he will have a second cup of shaved ice, this time cryberry syrup. During his break, AJ went to make a little dessert for the tail head, he completely misunderstood the reason why there were huge blocks of ice.
Having his cup of shaved ice, he walked around the booth and admired other snowmen. AJ didn't notice Dwa had extended itself outward and talked with a furry ball which seemed to be shivering. When he realized the head wasn't next to him, he called out and looked at the new fluffy tiny hat the head got. Not! It was alive. "I want to have it!" Before he could ask where the tail head got it, it already made a request. "It'sssssssss mine now, I find it!"

Build-a-SnowmanThey went to see the snowman, the one they built a while ago already gone so they decided to make another one. They found some frozen carrots, two black garbage bags and a set of abs. Build-a-SnowmanSeeing the black garbage bag, they decided to make the reaper mascot snowman. "We still need the scythe?" He thought out loudly. "Can that work?" The tail head pushed and wicked his top towards a direction until AJ turned his head to that side. "Smart, Bro." The icicle might be perfect for the scythe, two snowballs, one slightly bigger than another and several peddles for eyes and mouth, and lastly the polished icicle for the scythe. Damaris was happy to have her new, comfy warm hat. Cause this area of the event was a little colder than the rest. But it was fine. Cold weather was something she was used to back home and she'd adapt over time.
And the snow was fun.
She was slowly stepping into the snow to trust that she didn't step into a spot that made her sink too far down. Not something she wanted to deal with at the moment since she was having as fun as she was at this House cup event.
The terron, with her hands close to her chest, wandered over to stand that had a little creature with several tools strewn about a table. She blinked a few times before staring up at the ice block that was provided. "I... I'm too...?" Damaris pointed at the block and the Pingu nodded and handed her the tools.
"Well... I'll try my best."
The Terron wasn't the best when it came to being... Crafty. She could make simple things like bracelets and really simple necklaces but nothing like this. So she wasn't all too surprised when she mostly ended up making ice shavings and nothing else.
Damaris down cast her gaze before returning the tools and wandering away from the disappointed pingu.

The poor Terron was a little dejected from her try at the last activity in this area but... There seemed to be another. And it seemed like something she might be far better at.
Building snowmen.
This brought a smile. Small but it was there. She did have fond memories of building such frosty statues with her cousin when she would visit her uncle's mountain home. There were wonderful retreats from her home from her sisters.
Perhaps she was still as good at this as she remembered.
Damaris grabbed handfuls of snow and several items to start herself off with.

Perhaps she could use the twigs as arms? It seemed that would be the best option. She wasn't entirely sure what she would use the icicle and garbage bag for so she focused a little more on creating the actual structure of the snowman.
After sticking the twigs into the head-area of the snowman, she managed to poke around more in the supplies that were left out for all to pick from to make their snowman. Frozen carrots...? Oh! She could... Yes!
Damaris beamed at the snowman coming together like it was.
But there still seemed to be something missing...

Damaris had managed to find another set of twigs and found herself sticking them amongst the others in her snowman. She moved to sit cross-legged in front of her snowman as she pack more snow around her creation. While she had always thought Aurrie was much better at creating snowmen, she seemed to be not all too bad herself. But she would have loved to build one with her cousin... Maybe they could in the future, at some point. As such thoughts climbed about her brain, she searched some more amongst the items and she froze at the sight of a lamp. While broken, she suddenly got a great idea and took out the carrots she had been previously using, as well as one set of the twigs. The terron gently set the lamp on the twigs she shortly moved to the second mound of the snow on her snowman. Damaris took some more snow and pack more on the top to hide the horn-holes from the carrots and... There! Perfect! Well, perfect to her.

It's the third day of the house cup! The students participated in the first event, which is the obstacle course are all tuckered out, but not Mahlan. She has found a great pastime to do each morning in the chilly weather; doing some ice sculpture!
Yesterday's sculpture the Pingu's dubbed Sir Wan are still looking majestic, encased in special tarp so it wouldn't be tarnished from extra ice and snow.
"Yeeeee! Time to make some ARTSY!" The overly excited Mahlan jumped into the ring and got welcomed by the Pingus that by now, has actually admitted her talent.
But they did remind her to 'do it normally' while gesturing for her to see other 'artist' doing their work. Well, they're doing it...quite normally, with chisel and all.
And so Mahlan was handed a large wooden hammer, a chisel and some gloves. Laaaame.
While grumbling why can't she did this normally, the plant spirit lazily whacked at the ice block. She don't need modeling, and those boils doing strange poses on the middle of the arena only made her anger's boiling higher.
WHACK WHACK WHACK, ice splattered everywhere.

Unfortunately, all those...passionate hammering without using the chisel has cracked the block of ice, which Mahlan only realized when she was about to do the finishing touches. Well if she can't make a multiple-headed dragon outta this chunk, a simple animal motif will do. Hesitatingly picking up the chisel while turning her lips into a frown, Mahlan did several slashes (good kids won't imitate the dangerous technique!) on the almost-ruined iceblock to turn it into a majestic animal. Well, hope nobody touches it, because this piece will crumble into pieces if they did.

When Gabby decided to try another statue, while pointedly ignoring the couple nearby that needed to stop dancing around their feelings and just get on with it, he had a very specific vision in mind. So he carved away, creating a simple design that was still elegant enough to be usable, and dramatic.
Once it was done, he put down the carving tools, and crawled up to sit on his Ice Throne Of Kings. He brooded there, looking the part of an angry ruler, and waited for all to fall at his feet.
Unfortunately, a giant chair was just a bunch of rectangles and sharp points, so he did not win any prizes, again.

Gabby sat in the snow, brooding over his loss, and began to make a snowman with - what was this mold? It looked familiar, but he couldn't place it, until he started to use it... Oh.
