Number I: Aegil Number X: Sedhor

Aegil finished reconstructing what he needed out of the file, and nodded to himself. Pushing himself up onto his feet, he closed the folder (which had been restored to a pre-fire state) and walked up behind DLS. "Seven Deadly Sins, it would appear, are the Homonculi we'll be facing, abilities seem to be different between each of them. They are lead by someone referred to as 'Father', as he created them, and all that we have for images are drawings as no photographs were ever taken. If we can find an individual by the moniker of 'Fullmetal Alchemist', with their permission I can jack into their mind and find the images for each of their apperances, however this file lacks information on Fullmetal." HE was rather matter-of-fact about this, and continued to walk forward. When he reached the barrier, his own magic-nullification opened a path through to the hallway outside. "We have what I need. I'll meet you back with the others." With that, AEgil walked around the corner, disappearing the moment no one could see him.

Sedhor laughed and turned around to face Draco. "Did I hurt the lizard's feelings by telling the truth? Please, I can see it plain as day, you're cocky, overconfident, and did in fact almost lose control. I could see the whole thing you know, and I'm damn good at recognizing when someone's ticked off. And you, sir, could barely contain yourself." He chuckled and summoned the cards back to him, each flying into his deck and shuffling themselves. IT wouldn't do to draw the same fortune twice.

"Besides, I don't choose the cards for you, fate does. And every time I draw thinking of you, that card shows up in reverse. When you change, the card will change. Perhaps you're too young to understand, can't blame you on that. Besides, you're tamed enough. You listen to your mother well enough." HE chuckled and tapped his playing cards with a finger. What to do...

His thoughts were interrupted as Aegil appeared, walking in from where no-one could see him (his unique teleportation system). "Goddamn man, you're too fond of that. I'm guessing we're waiting for DLS then?" Aegil nodded and sat beside his brother, returning the card as they waited.

Kor noticed that Draco had seen thru his half-truth. He even laughed internally about how Draco truly believed that Abaddon hadn't been a threat to him at all. Kor knew the truth even tho the young dragon demon (young by terms of the dragon demon lifespan) was too foolish to realize it and that truth was that Draco had gotten lucky. He had seen it in the way Abaddon was fighting that Abaddon hadn't used all the tricks in his arsenal and was only just getting warmed up by the time Draco had defeated him. Kor even noticed how moments after Draco's arrival that the live stream of the location of the fight showed that Reaper's forces had remotely-teleported Abaddon to safety. He was just about to speak his mind when Draco started a conversation with Sedhor and Sedhor said much of what Kor wanted to say to Draco. That was followed by the appearance of Aegil once again appearing out of seemingly nowhere in a location of the room that nobody had within their eyesight. And just as quickly as Aegil appeared and practically a split second after Sedhor had asked his brother about them waiting on DLS, she also arrived.

Once everybody was situated, Dakra showed everybody a recap of the fight between Draco and Abaddon. After that, he once again appeared in hologram form tho this time it was much more solid in appearance and he addressed the room.

Dakra: "According to what little, we have gathered from the drones about Father and his 7 Homunculi that Abaddon possesses the powers of the one called Father. Draco you were the one who fought him, were you able to discern what was the source of his powers? They are obviously not his own natural abilities and well we haven't been able to hack into Reaper's database to try to find out what his plans are or what is the source of Abaddon's copied abilities. We tried despite knowing it was highly improbably that it would work and we were correct seeing as our Shattered Glass Alternate Universe Counterparts that are part of Reaper's forces devised and implemented a counter-hack strategy that counteracted our attempts perfectly."

Reaper's Dakra

Dakra walked over to a computer terminal and entered a string of commands that would end up reprogramming the VRE fusion mechanic to satisfy the requests that and also to add the additional function Abaddon had requested tho in a way that Dakra figured would work more efficiently. After about 5 mins the VRE mech was reprogrammed to include the requests that Abaddon had asked Dakra to implement.

Dakra: "Alrighty then everything is ready for you to fuse with the VRE mecha. As you can see there is a large button on the chest of it. When I open the display case just place your hand on the button and the fusion will commence. I must warn you that the process while practically instantaneous will feel excruciatingly painful and will more than likely render you unconscious afterwards. Unfortunately even with the best technology and anesthetic medications around it is unavoidable as such a fusion requires your DNA to be rewritten all at once within every cell at the same time. It's basically like having surgery performed on every single cell in your body all at once and isn't like the process of changing your genetic code that your old VRE used. The old VRE took time to rewrite your DNA and did it much slower than this. If possible we'd have made it rewrite your DNA in a similar fashion to how your old VRE did it, but if it isn't done practically instantaneously your immune system would fight against it and the likely result would be your death. Well then hop to it. Enjoy!!!"

As Dakra finished the explanation he opened the display case and told Abaddon to get it over with. The "Enjoy!!!" part was of course said sarcastically because as he had told Abaddon it wouldn't be anywhere near an enjoyable process.

Draco let Sedhor think what he wanted to think. When Sedhor expounded his haughty, 'Did I hurt the lizard's feelings by telling the truth? Please, I can see it plain as day, you're cocky, overconfident, and did in fact almost lose control. I could see the whole thing you know, and I'm damn good at recognizing when someone's ticked off. And you, sir, could barely contain yourself.' Draco just rolled his eyes. It was no use talking to Fate. And he wasn't about to get angry at a much older brother who used cards to tell him what he needed to know about anything. And continuing to call him a lizard was just Sedhor's way of trying to antagonize him and he wasn't taking the bait. Besides, he wanted to take a nap. So, he just calmly said. ”You can think anything you want. Why not turn over new cards and see what they say. But, since I was the one out there with Abaddon and you weren't, I think I know how I felt. We'll just leave it at that.”

Kor's mind was worse than an open book when it came to thinking derogatory thoughts about Draco's time in the desert. He just wasn't going to let it go. So, Draco, who wasn't going to be getting his nap after all decided that he would set the record straight with Kor. He casually walked over to the arrogant saiyan and squatted in front of him. He gave him a little smile and then calmly said, Kor, I knew he had an entire arsenal on him. I knew he was holding back at first. I was not lucky, and I was not angry. He wanted me to be angry, that's why he started our little play date by firing three shots at me. Now, would you please be so kind as to keep your irrational thoughts about my fighting abilities and my temperament to a minimum. They scream out like a room full of baby dragons begging to be fed and I am tired of listening to them. And if at any time, you would really like a small demonstration of what I am like when I get angry, just say the word and I will be more than willing to accommodate you.” Then, the young dragon prince, as Kor thought of him, let out a small huff, got up and moved across the room.

Moments later Aegil appeared in the room and took a seat next to Sedhor. It wasn't much longer before the dragon demon Queen reappeared. She skipped the pleasantries and went straight to her son. The two didn't speak a word. Draco just got up, nodded a few times to his mother and then they were interrupted by Dakra's questions. 'According to what little, we have gathered from the drones about Father and his 7 Homunculi that Abaddon possesses the powers of the one called Father. Draco you were the one who fought him, were you able to discern what was the source of his powers? They are obviously not his own natural abilities  ...' DLS looked at her son, nodded and Draco walked over the the viewing screen/hologram. He saw Dakra's image and stopped, refused to speak. He looked to his mother and she walked over to take a closer look at the holographic image. She looked at it and then to Draco. Not uttering a word, Draco again just nodded and started answering the questions, as his mother advised.

” It seems that Reaper has an exact duplicate to you Dakra. And that duplicate is manufacturing everything that Abaddon had on his person to fight me with. The rifle and gun were standard human weapons, but the VRE was advanced used in a form of alchemy. The Father is their god-like creature that controls the homunculi and gave them life. They were manufactured using something called a philosopher's stone. When I tore off Abaddon's arm, he was hiding something he called a stone within him. I believe it might be something similar to this this philosopher's stone. They need this for their alchemy to work. Also, do not try to hack their computers or use telepathy with them. They have devices that can block out/or capture telepathic communication. Abaddon had such a device on him when we fought. It is quite advanced and he was quite certain it would work, except it didn't work on me.” With that last statement, DLS shot Draco a stern look that as much as said,'way too much information'. So he backed off on the commentary. He continued. ”They think this Father is the ultimate power in this universe and plan to use it to control this planet. It is easy to surmise they will then take it off-world. One other thing I did learn, they are underground, but they can only get there by artificial means. There is no natural entryway. They use their devices to teleport in and out. And, Reaper is totally convinced that there is no way he can be defeated. Abaddon's mind was most clear on that.”

Kor's Dakra

Dakra had noticed how DLS had walked up to his hologram, closely inspected it, and then flashed a look to Draco before Draco responded back to him. He of course knew part of that had been DLS probably trying to read the hologram's non-existent thoughts and therefore inspecting it to see what it was exactly. He also figured the flashed glance at Draco was her communicating with him telepathically; it wasn't hard to figure out afterall even having had stopped intercepting their telepathic communications after DLS had previously threateningly asked him to cease and desist or else.

Dakra: "Ah yes, my Shattered Glass Universe Counterpart. I had already discussed that with Aegil earlier. So we know that other than his Saiyan Army he has this Abaddon fellow as an ally and that he more likely than not has 8 Homunculi under his control as well. Aegil, shall we compare what we know about this Homunculus called Father and his 7 Homunculi children that are named after the 7 Deadly Sins? How about you start with what you've gathered and when you're done, I'll tell everyone what additional information I have gathered about them. After that we can come up with a plan of action so that we can stop whatever it is that Reaper is planning hopefully before it is too late."

Number I: Aegil Number X: Sedhor

Aegil nodded and pulled up his miniture interface, pulling up his own individual files. After what seemed to be a quick search (but was, in fact, thousands to narrow the pool down, conducted in real-time at thought speed), eight files were pulled up with the correct names. "Father, it would appear, in this case is a fragment of another being that gained independent thought. At some point it acquired its own body as well, and has lived a long, long life during which he created the 7 deadly sins. Most of the profiles in the system are rather basic, seeing as these particular beings are all but destined to fail, so we have available very little aside from their capabilities, save two interresting tidbits. For example, Wrath appears to be a human-turned homonculi, therefore has an aged body. His image should be showing up on screen now. He possesses a talented mind, sword skills, and an eye that allows him to accurately predict moves he can see, and see just about everything he isn't blocked from.

Then there's Greed, who appears to have been made twice. The likely instance is this second iteration using an individual called Ling, and appears to have the ability to create a carbon, indestructible substance out of his body to form claws or an entire body shield. And no, Draco, Sessmaru, even you can't break it if it's hardened, I've ran the numbers. Of course he appears to have some sort of weakness, considering he has been killed twice.

Envy, it appears, can shapeshift at will. We don't have much information on Envy's true form, save that it's massive and powerful. It likely only used this form on special occasions, thus accidentally making it harder to ping down the full form in this universe.

Gluttony, well, devours. It appears to eat it's victims, either by physically devouring them or opening a gateway and devouring them that way. No information exists on waht lies inside.

Sloth, well, appears to be the fastest of them, and baring Envy, the largest, and baring greed, the most durable. Amusing, considering the sin. Likely this will be the easiest to destroy if we can expect it to fail its full potential.

Lust can extend her fingers, or claws if you'd rather, to pierce or cut through just about anything. She's also a talented manipulator.

Pride appears to be a shadow of sorts, and the most powerful of the sins. Sensible, considering how Pride is considered the worst sin. It has some measure of power similar to each of the other sins, and appears to be harbored often in a small child. Note, it is in fact a shadowy form weakened by excess light.

In addition they appear to have enhanced capabilities, near immortality, and enhanced regeneration, except for Wrath who is a special case. Have I missed anything?"
He paused in thought, before shaking his head.

"However it shoudl also be noted that by connecting my own soul to one referred to as the 'Fullmetal alchemist' should provide detailed information on most, if not all, of their deaths, therefore offering insight to their weaknesses. Of course, just killing them a few dozen times in rapid succession, overpowering their healing factor, could potentially work as well, assuming you can catch one alone to take advantage of."

Sedhor was hardly paying attention at this point, rather concerned with the state of his card. HE thought he saw a smudge on it, some stain, and was trying to work out if he was actually seeing that and how to be rid of it. Of all the cards, of course, his own was the most important, and valuable, to him and could not be allowed to get damaged. That, would probably signal some mass extinction.

Or two, or three. OR all of them. Never know, seeing how much potential energy was left up to fate.

Abaddon, Owner of the VRE

Where am I? The base
Who's with me? Dakra and... I don't know
What do I feel? Rather in pain
What am I thinking? Well. That was a thing.

User Image

Dakra's words weren't exactly encouragement to Abaddon, but he didn't exactly have much of a choice. Besides, without the VRE he was stuck in this world forever, assuming he wasn't killed, so it would be best to take advantage of the situation and get going. He placed his hand on the button and, as expected, the process began and ended shortly after.

Of course, his experience within those few seconds was different to him than Dakra. The feeling of every cell rewriting its own coding was indeed excruciatingly painful, and his own mind and force of will fought against it, trying to stay awake. Even after the process was over, he fought against the pain, vision blurred into small spheres, falling to his knees by where the button he had pressed had been mere seconds ago. His phantom pains shot up, and he managed to glance at an arm where once he had a stump, one that looked like the black metal he'd had for so long.

That brought a small smile to his face, as he closed his eyes to let oblivion take him for a while.

"My dear friend, we can't have you falling asleep. There's work to do."

"Hey Dakra, got a light?" Abaddon asked mere moments later, certainly far sooner than a human should've been able to. Not only that, but Abaddon had pushed himself up onto his feet, and pulled a cigarette from a case in his coat.

Draco finished his report and stepped back from the hologram and view screen. If asked, he would tell them that's all the information he has for them. He had already given more than his mother had wanted, but what was done, was done. Then Aegil gave his report on the eight homunculi. The dragons listened carefully to each description very carefully. When he was talking about Greed/Ling, DLS was amused by his quip about them not being able to break the case it could enclose itself in. She wasn't being cocky, as Sedhor would call it, she was being realistic. One way or another, this was going to end here. " Aegil, there are other ways to get to this Greed/Ling once it has put up a shell around it. One does not have to break it in order to kill the creature. You are slipping. It is no different than any other thing in any of the multiverses. The Father has given us, the dragon demons, a way to penetrate such. When the time comes, leave that to us. Greed has more to fear from us than from all of you." That's all she said. If the genius couldn't figure it out by now, then he was slipping. Even the dense Kor could figure out how Greed's impenetrable shell was no problem for her kind.

What she wanted to know concerned this Father. " So, they are controlled, by the one that created them, at least to some degree. But if this Father has to change bodies and is aging, that is a major flaw in their design. Take out the Father figure and the others, although somewhat independent, will fall faster. He should be your first target. Reaper has him someplace safe, and more than likely not with the other seven. It would be a strategic error to keep them all together. Taking them all out at once would prove Reaper incompetent and we already know he is not that. Reaper is keeping this Father under wraps and under his control. He is probably using him, not allied with him. Reaper needs to learn all he can about his power structure. At least that is what a good commander would do, don't you agree Draco?"

And so, DLS just let everyone know that there was a reason her brash, young, so-called hot tempered son was here. He was playing his part perfectly. That is if they caught all of her meanings. Draco was the most cunning, dangerous strategist the dragon demons had ever had. With his sister, they had learned from the best in the multiverses. The Father had trained them all quite well. The question is, how much longer were they going to let this group play this dangerous game? The longer they allowed it to go one, the further from the plan they strayed.

She noticed Sedhor scratching at one of his precious cards. She reached over and took it from his hand and looked at it. ”Oh for all that is holy. It's a little smudge, it's not ruined. You aren't going to die or anything. Here... She wet the tip of her finger with her tongue being sure not to get any acid on it. Then she gently rubbed at the smudge, removing it and then dried it on her sleeve. She handed it back to Sedhor. ” Now, it's as good as new. Will you get your head back in the game or should I just send you home with your tail tucked between your legs?” Sedhor and his cards were getting to be a nuisance. At first it was funny that he used them to tell everyone what he thought they meant, but now they were just plain annoying. ”Fortune card games don't belong in a war zone. You use them to tell the present and future, but our kind (meaning The Father's children- and Sedhor should understand her meaning) know that we can alter that future or our past. “ With that said, she decided to leave with Draco. Mother and son had things to discuss, and here was not the place to have that discussion. She nodded toward the door and Draco got up and left. ”If any of you need me, just think my name, but not too loudly, I don't need your voices ringing in my head.” Then she left.

The two headed out the back door of the pub. It was so convenient that the pub was on the outskirts of the town and no one ever seemed to be out back. When they knew they could not been seen, DLS teleported them to the spot that Draco had seen while flying around. They landed a few yards from the edge of the water. What Draco called a watering hole was actually the size of Lake Ontario back on Earth. Of course, to a large dragon demon, that's putting things into perspective. After putting up a barrier to keep unwanted intrusive eyes from seeing them, she and Draco transformed to their preferred form. Draco's scales camouflaged to match the surroundings while DLS's maintained their golden hue which reflected the sunlight off them. If anyone was trying to get a look, they would be blinded by the reflection. Then again, her barrier was good enough to conceal an entire universe, so this small area should be fairly safe.

Draco flew up and dove into a deep part of the water. He emerged several minutes later, flew high and landed next to his mother. In his human form, it wasn't apparent just how dehydrated he was after his encounter with Abaddon, but the difference in his girth between the time he entered the water and when he came out was quite obvious. ”I feel much better. I guess I needed that more than I originally thought. I am beginning to hate this planet, Mother. It's too dry. Can't we just destroy it now and go home?”

The dragon queen shook her head. ”I wish we could, but things have gotten complicated now that Aegil has arrived. Had he just stayed home, I could have done away with Kor and Leon; teleported Sedhor home and locked him there long enough to blow this place up and lock it, like I did before. But now that I know there are bits and pieces of Reaper scattered all over the multiverses, it's changed everything. While I was babysitting Aegil, I was able to contact your sister. She and some of your other siblings are out collecting all those bits and pieces. It's going to take a little while. I couldn't just bring them all here at once, although that would have been easier to do. If Reaper sensed I had done that, it would have been far worse. So those extra Reaper clone possibilities are being gathered and taken to a secure location. They will all be destroyed together. Once this Reaper is dead, there will be no coming back a third time." DLS was going to make sure this scourge was eradicated once and for all, no matter what. And there would be no time travel for him to stop it! He was going to stay on this planet and die on this planet in this time!

Still, the main reason she came out her was to get a full report on what Draco learned from Abaddon. Telepathy in that crowded room with those simple-minded idiots was not easy. Kor had the attitude that saiyans were superior warriors and he looked down on the dragon demons as some kind of inferior animals. She wanted to bite his head off and burn it, like she had done to his predecessor, but that would only make her look like a dragon-animal. She is a dragon demon- quite a different thing. And she is The Father's daughter, a goddess. Sedhor was an arrogant child who still had to use those damned cards. His thoughts were always on what the cards showed and he kept throwing those thoughts out to her. Aegil, well, his mind was a well-calibrated computer, but still, it was going nonstop. She shook her head, back to business. ” So, Abaddon had his own little philosopher's stone hidden inside him? You know how those are made, don't you? They kill millions of innocent beings and collect their essence, their soul, and it's that which powers the stone. Reaper must have killed off most of the planet and many more on other worlds to get what he needs to manufacture those. What else did you learn?”

”Like I said, their lair is underground and Abaddon used one of his devices to make a tunnel system to worm his way to the desert. They he created an elevator to come to the surface. It was unnecessary, they have devices that can transport them from one place to another. The army is getting as restless as Abaddon was to fight. They don't like staying underground. They want to get out and do something. The fight with me was a diversion more than anything. They may have wanted a little knowledge of yours and my capabilities, and some information on what we are planning. Abaddon did fancy an idea of capturing me. They do know they are not going to be able to take you down, at least not without one hell of a fight. They have several more satellites orbiting the planet and they are monitoring everything that is going on. They more than likely know where our little group has been. Reaper and Kor are one in the same genetically, but personality is totally different. Do not trust the saiyan. That last part is my assessment as a warrior, not from Abaddon. Oh, that Dakra on the hologram, Reaper has his own Dakra that is smarter and is making weapons far superior than anything Kor seems to have at his disposal. It's going to be a bloodbath. We are going to need a lot more dragons here than we thought. Suzi will definitely be needed.”

DLS listened carefully to her son's briefing. She was formulating her plan. Kor would not like what she wanted to do, but she didn't give a damn what Kor liked or wanted. If there was going to be a chance for this planet to survive and for Reaper to be brought down once and for all, he was going to have to listen to her. The Father didn't train her to be the best warrior in the multiverses for nothing. Saiyans were mere babies compared to what The Father was and she was his dragon demon warrior daughter. Kor knew what she told him about the first battle. She didn't tell him that she was the only warrior to do any killing on the dragon side. She killed all of Kor/Reaper's men herself in one fell swoop. And if he thinks killing Kor/Reaper was easy and that he held back during that one on one fight, he's wrong. That battle took a long time, in real time. He tried every trick he knew, but in the end, she was victorious. But she learned one valuable lesson in that fight. Reaper doesn't fight - he cheats-and that almost cost her her life. She will not allow him that opportunity again.

Kor noticed the condescending tone that DLS had taken when she countered Aegil's statement about even how she and her kind couldn't break Greed's Ultimate Shield; it was just the sorta superior tone that someone who refuses to accept the truth of things would take. Kor took the chance to jump on the opportunity to correct DLS when she said that Father needs to switch bodies because he ages.

Kor: "It seems you weren't paying full attention to what Aegil said DLS. Father doesn't need to change bodies and he doesn't age. Greed was the one who changed bodies tho Aegil hadn't provided the information for why he changed bodies. And it is Wrath who ages as he was a human who was later turned into a Homunculus."

It appeared that DLS had nothing to say to Kor as she focused more on Sedhor who was obsessing over the card that represented himself and if Kor hadn't known better he might've thought that she hadn't heard what he had told her. After Kor finished correcting DLS, the Dakra hologram started to address them all. It was actually at that very same moment that DLS left with her son Draco to God knows where.

Dakra: "What you say seems to match our information Aegil? I actually have just a little more information to add to that that everyone might need to know. The rest of the information can be discussed after we've talked to Edward Elric, the Fullmetal Alchemist. Anyways it seems that Greed who I'm assuming has been restored to the body of Ling actually betrayed Father and sided with the Elric Brothers and their allies within the Amestrian military in the final fight against Father. As for the small child, his name is Selim Bradley the adopted son of the former Fuhrer King Bradley whose Homunculus name is Wrath. It would be logical to assume that Pride has been rejoined with his old container Selim Bradley. In which case I have a feeling that Mrs. Bradley and the military officers assigned to keep an eye on the young Selim Bradley to make sure nothing bad happens are all potentially in danger. Reaper might also take advantage of the fact that Wrath was the former Fuhrer to stir up some discord amongst the population of Amestris and the current military by having him suddenly return and tell of how he was betrayed and secretly held prisoner by those in charge of the current administration for these past ten years. The best course of action I believe is for the group of you to split up into 3 Teams. Team A should head to Resembool to try to get help from the Fullmetal Alchemist. Team B should stay there in Central to protect Mrs. Bradley and those in charge of keeping an eye on Selim Bradley from Pride. Team B would also be in charge of preventing Wrath from discrediting the current Amestrian Government and using that to regain his former seat of power. Finally Team C would be tasked with heading over to Xing to get aid from Emperor Ling and Greed. How does that sound to everyone?"

Kor: "I like that course of action. I honestly want to be part of all the teams, so I think I will do just that. And of course somebody needs to get in touch of with two dragons who left and fill them in on what we're gonna do. I'd do it myself, but I think it might be wiser if either Sedhor or Aegil did it because well they are her family and she doesn't seem very fond of me from what I'm assuming has something to do with what Reaper did to her and her clan. Honestly I don't blame her for that; after all he did do some pretty horrible stuff to her and her clan. So do either of the two of you wish to contact her to let her know what we're gonna be doing?"

Reaper & Dakra
User Image

In the security room of Reaper's FMAB-U32 HQ, alarms were set off when an unknown entity entered the facility and seemingly disappeared so quickly that the security detail just shrugged it off as a glitch in the system. Reaper in his throne room figured it wasn't a glitch and had decided to get into contact with Dakra to have him figure out what had happened when he was done outfitting Abaddon with his new VRE system. Dakra definitely knew something was amiss and felt it appropriate to see Reaper as soon as possible.

Dakra: "Abaddon there will be time to smoke a cigarette later. Seeing as you are fit enough to stand up and ask for a light-up for your cigarette as if nothing had happened mere seconds after passing out from the intense pain of the fusion procedure, I think you'll be able to accompany to Reaper's throne room. It seems that something has happened just mere seconds ago right when you awoke unnaturally quickly from such an experience. I don't think that it's a coincidence and you better believe Reaper is thinking the very same thing. I probably know him better than anyone seeing as I was the one who raised and trained him to be who he is today."

With that said Dakra dragged Abaddon with him to a teleportation platform and programmed it to bring them straight to Reaper's throne room.

Dakra: "Lord Reaper, Abaddon's fusion procedure was successful tho something strange did happen afterwards. As we were expecting, he did pass out from the intense pain of the process, but he got up mere seconds afterwards completely healed almost as if he hadn't been affected by the fusion procedure at all. That happened at the very same moment that the alarm system blipped. I have a strong feeling that that isn't a coincidence and that the two are somehow connected."

Reaper: "Abaddon seeing as the events are most obviously connected, do you know why it is that you awoke so soon making it appear as if you were unaffected by the fusion procedure? You should probably start by telling us exactly what you can recall happening after the fusion process began up until you arrived here. Leave out no details no matter how small and insignificant you may think them to be, ok?"

Fiyah stood in the background, watching the passive-aggressive bickering unfold before the Dragons left. Now it was plan time. From what had been explained there were supposed to be three teams, one would grab this Elric person, another would protect a dead man's wife and the third was in charge of preventing a major power play. "Ooh I love subversion tactics. Team B for me, and as an added bonus, I don't even need help, gotta love Time Shenanigans." Fiyah said, chuckling a little. He decided to make a grand show, but on this inside he was secretly hoping the former Fuhrer King wouldn't force his hand, the Thief of Time didn't pull punches in verbal fights and he doubted anything he had been given upon his resurrection would match up to a God Tier.

Kor: "Sounds good to me tho you won't be alone Fiyah. After all, I shall be on all 3 teams because I want to be on them all and have my ways of being in multiple places at the same time. So I guess all that needs to be done is to figure out who will be to get the 2 dragons back here and to determine who will be on the other 2 teams besides me."

Kor really couldn't withhold his excitement. Things were really gonna start moving from here. He knew that Reaper being like him would mean that Reaper most likely would do things the same way he would do them if he were evil. That at least made Reaper predictable to a certain extent tho of course that also made his own actions predictable to a certain extent to Reaper too for the very same reason. Tho seeing as Reaper had encountered future Kor at least on one occasion that meant that Reaper had at least a better chance at predicting Kor's actions and Kor knew that tho he wouldn't let that bring him down. There wasn't much he could do about that and there was no point letting things he couldn't change bother him.

Leon Proud, X-Universal Automation

"Aye."

Leon was somewhat glad that the dragons had left, since it reduced the chances of his (close resemblance of a) life being ended well before his proper time. (which would be roughly a year after the heat death of his home universe, 10 if he wasn't there when it went nova.) "Aye, I could use some fewer threats towards my (close resemblance of a) life, between Reaper and the dragons..." he thought about it some more, until he came to the decision that he could at least try and become less of a target for their seemingly bottomless list of threats. He could perhaps become something like a (close resemblance of an) ally. Or, at least, not end up as steely toast. "... why was I created with a sense of hope? aye, I wonder."
But first came the mission at hand. "Aye, I'd be willing to take ether remaining task." he thought about it some more. "Say, does the title of Fullmetal mean anything? aye, because it suggests to me that I could perhaps see eye to eye with the man." For the record, Leon stands at 6' perfect, crafted to be the perfect height for a man as voted by the people of the X-Universal Faction Fashion Section.

Number I: Aegil Number X: Sedhor

Aegil sighed and waved his hand at first. He did not presume Greed would be impossible to fight, should it come to that, however he spoke the statistical, objective truth. Greed's shield was unbreakable, despite not being the perfect defense.

However it was when the queen took Sedhor's card that both Aegil and Sedhor instinctively, and immediately, found their hands clutching their weapons. It was only through extreme force of will that neither had yet attempted to take Sedhor's card back by force, something that the dragon demon couldn't possibly understand. Though Aegil was one of the few Fates to recognize DLS's kind as the Father's children, he objectively knew that Dragon-Demons and Fates were nothing alike. So when he sent her a telepathic message to her, she would at least know that he was being serious. "You know nothing of what the cards mean to a Fate, sister. I do not presume facts about you, the least you could do is offer Sedhor the same courtesy. You've no idea how important that card is."

Now though, was the situation at hand. With the name, Edward Elric, he could access the boy's file better. "It would appear that he is not like you, Leon. However, judging by the file on him, you have a high probability of being able to communicate with him. Details, of course, are not mine to give, though rest assured you are an excellent fit to meet with him. I'm going to temporarily authorize a third Fate operative to assist with the other task, seeing as he himself might be able to communicate fairly well with this Emperor, being one himself. Sedhor, you will remain on standby watching over the city. Undoubtedly Reaper will have predicted Kor and Dakra's plans and we will need to keep an additional ace up our sleeve. Does this seem suitable to everyone?"

Sedhor seemed, a little dissatisfied that he was 'on standby', however he didn't argue the Magician's words. Truthfully he felt it was the wisest course of action to take, though he would never give his brother the satisfaction of hearing him say that. So he quietly just nodded, and turned to face Kor.

"Pride is supposed to be the most dangerous, and I'd rather not see an ally die off that easily. So here, just project your thoughts and need into this card if you need me. It's the one way I can teleport easily, plus it might make ya feel better if you start getting scared of the dark." Of course the last bit was a poor attempt to be funny, but it was a good way of dealing with handing over his X tarot card. To replace it, he did obtain a II card from Aegil.

"Shall we get going then?" the duo asked the group together, after exchanging cards, sending the message to their brother, and Aegil sending a short message to DLS again, this time along the lines of "We've developed a plan of action. It would be prudent of you to make a choice of where to join the groups." Aegil had, as well, explained what each group was to do, and that he had put Sedhor on standby for worst-case scenarios.

Abaddon, Owner of the VRE

Where am I? The base
Who's with me? Dakra and Reaper
What do I feel? Curious
What am I thinking? What did happen?

User Image

Abaddon shrugged at Reaper's questioning, before creating a spark and using alchemy to move it to his cigarette. What had happened, he wondered to himself as he took stock of the situation at hand. He remembered almost nothing of what did occur while he had been passed out, as it well should be. He wasn't quite sure what they expected him to say, so he decided to just be honest.

"I don't exactly know what you were expecting me to be able to tell you. My vision with dark, with shadows filling my vision. Some looked like birds, some like just blobs, some like figures like Dakra and you. Then before I woke up there was a buzzing in my head, like the kind right after a flashbang, and I woke up. Not exactly a thrilling tale." Abaddon gave a long puff from the cigarette, unlike a normal cig this one tasted, sweet. And the smoke smelled the same. Though, there was one thing ringing in his head, something that was just now bothering him.

When did I smoke cigarettes?
