Longwei flattened his ears against his head. Ugh, a child? Couldn't it shut up? He was protector of Jin-Hua, not a babysitter. That noise.... A growl emerged from his throat. Trying to take a deep breath to calm himself, he choked on some dust passing through the air. Ah, ah. Just when he relaxed and realized he wouldn't sneeze, the sneeze came out longer and stronger then ever, shooting a fairly strong flame of Ember towards the small Sunkern!

Though they didn't harm her the blast of flames would no less manage to spook the Sunkern, causing her to jump slightly. Then fresh tears began to form and the wailing resumed. ">WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH<" She cried, and as she did green bubbles began to appear in the air around Longwei, slowly draining him of his strength. It would seem the Sunkern had gotten so worked up she'd started using Absorb!
Argyle would find himself in the deepest part of the cave... but not the darkest. No, the small cavern was lit up by a large and glowing rock that jutted out of the ground. If he'd dared to get closer, he'd see that the stone was, in fact, sparking with electricity, raising the temperature even more than it had been. Beside the rock, Argye's favorite Pokemon a Nosepass would suddenly shine out, and evolve into a Probopass! (Fortunately, it ignored Argyle, floating off.) This was the fabled Charge Stone, a rare rock that existed for the sole purpose of helping Pokemon evolve. He'd found it!
But behind the rock, and a little farther out, one would be able to see the exit. The question remained: would Argyle take the picture and leave, or would he venture forth?

Once again, the wooper used tail whip, which actually gave Kiani some hope. For as long as the wooper kept using the move, it gave Nero a chance to hit it and didn't do damage to him. For now, Kiani would continue to command Nero to use tackle until either they defeated their opponent or they were defeated themselves.
Longwei lost focus for a second, trying to flatten his ears even more. Ugh that annoying noise. He probably wasn't going to be good around children.. Letting loose a snarl, he turned to the wailing Sunkern and just stared oblivious to the bubbles around him.

Argyle scowled at the sight of the Nosepass, even more so as it evolved. Thing needed to get smaller not bigger and even more ridiculous looking. Still it quickly left so the matter was out of his hands. It did however prove that this electrically charged stone obviously his goal....well half his goal. He'd need to handle the other half at a later date. One would have thought the capturing of a Pokemon would be the easy part but nothing exactly worth his while had been spotted so far.
Reaching into the bag at his belt the youth would take out the camera on, snapping a picture just in time for Jekyll to photo bomb it with a piece sign....and getting mildly electrocuted soon after. Shaking his head the boy would return the camera to his bag and depart. It was time to find out what lay ahead!
Starter Pokemon: Croagunk [M] Name & Level: Jekyll, Lv 4 [Temperament] Naughty Bio:The story of how Argyle met Jekyll is a bit of an odd one. After purchasing a bulk shipment of skin rejuvenating mud from Sinnoh's Great Marsh (Guarnteed to take twenty years off your appearance!), Mistress Rosevelt had set aside some time for a fully immersive experience with the product, during which she received quite the surprise. It would seem the mud had come with stowaway in the form of an egg. Unfortunately it was about this same time the egg decided to hatch, splattering the aristocratic woman with muck and eggshell. After a shriek and shrill cry for the nearest Argyle to attend her, Verde arrived and was immediately ordered to dispose of the creature, although not before cleaning up the mess it had created. Whispering a snide remark just below his breath, both Mistress and Argyle were in for a surprise when the newly born Croagunk began to snicker devilishly. It seemed the Poison-type had heard the boy, and shared his sense of humor. Amused by this fact the young Butler then went about the task of convincing Mistress Rosevelt that the Croagunk would be quite useful in his regular duties, allowing him to make the manor to "shine as radiantly as you do Mistress Rosevelt". Little more in the way of convincing was required on the boy's part, and so he obtained his first and for the time being only Pokemon.
Since then Jekyll has proven a good match for Argyle, frequently snickering at the boy's comments be they made aloud, or simply implied. Unlike Argyle however Jekyll does nothing to hide his wicked nature, frequently mocking others quite openly and then laughing about it. Though cruel he is not crude, and more than willingly to amuse himself by catching the enemy off guard. The Houndour was actually irritated. There was a brief flash of red but no Rage came through. Instead he seemed to be struggling with taking the battle more seriously. The Rage wanted to be let free but the Houndour didn't want to kill the kid. Letting loose another frustrated growl, more flames burst through his maw summoning forth another Ember!
Slumping forward and perhaps a bit bored with all the tail whipping the Wooper would begin rolling around the lilypad, causing it to splash and spray the brackish water around them.

Alice couldn't help starting at the Ducklett. How cute! How fluffy! How she wanted to pet it! Perhaps not a function she'd been initially built with, but as Lankford pointed out, her AI was rapidly evolving. And currently, it had evolved into something easily distracted and very enthusiastic about petting the duck fluff. Fortunately, Vorpal was a bit more attentive, and he slowly edged her forward. No point in picking a fight (and patting might not have counted, but some folks were touchy!) if they didn't need to just yet.
"Fine, fine," she sighed, allowing herself to hop to the next lilypad. Forward it was.

Nero's defense dropped at the incessant tail wagging, however he was still primed for Kiani's next, predictable order. "Tackle." She said, spitting out some of the brackish water that had splashed into her mouth from the wooper's rolling around. It was a worthy opponent.

Brushing a lock of matted hair out of her face, Alice kept going forward, hopping from lilypad to lilypad. It was kind of fun, in an odd, rocking way. Provided she didn't slip up and land in the bog... she'd probably survive a thorough dousing, but she wasn't sure she was up for it at this moment.

Once more the Wooper would take a hit, but with it's life and freedom now viably in danger the kid gloves were off! Mouth wide, chest heavy, throat doing a thing which wasn't pleasant, the Water-type would unleash another Acid Spray upon his foes!

The farther she went into the bog, the more fun Alice was determined to have. This was an adventure, after all, an adventure in a foreign land! Well, kind of. The wildreness, perhaps? Regardless, she ignored Vorpal's squeaked warnings and proceeded to spin-leap from each lilypad to the next.
