"Are you blushing?" She asked Vaith gleefully, before turning back to their new company. "You will always be a cream puff!" Hel exclaimed with a grin to Junko, and gave a nod to her fiance as he approached. "Seiji!" She greeted. "How is the schooling going, eh?" She rested her hands on her hips. "If you want your a** kicked around the gym anymore on the road to graduation, hail me, ya?" She laughed, before it abruptly stopped and she stared at Junko. "Uh, excuse you, cream puff! I am no one's date! I am currently a <******** majestic stag!" Hel exclaimed proudly in regards to her prom situation. "Besides, if Vaith and Xiu were dates, they would be my dates." Because where that possessive noun was placed was incredibly important to Hel. Priorities.

"Careful, El piggy pig, your butch is showing." Lou cooed as he glanced back to Poke with a devious grin. Oooo so maybe they were an item. How quaint.
Lou was fully prepared for an evening of tormenting the two and hovering just close enough to make a complete nuisance of himself, but Poke had said the magic word and regardless of whether he knew it was a lie or not, he had to look. "pechos grandes?!" His neck could've snapped from the sheer speed and force with which his head turned. Ah. No. Sadly there were no gratuitous, uncovered lady torsos within sight. And of course when he looked back, his prey was not where he had left them.
Spiral eyes glanced back and forth momentarily before he shrugged and smiled. They could only evade him for so long, after all.
With a toot of his busted trumpet, he was off.
-----
Riyo, who had idly started browsing her eyephone, was completely unaware of the situation developing. She remained blissfully ignorant of the two scaled beasts that lurked under her table next to the ghoul's stocking-clad legs, until a peep brought her to attention. Riyo's brow furrowed at the sudden, brief question, as her eyes darted towards the source. "HOLY-" Her legs tried to kick her up out of the chair a little too fast, leading up to an interesting balancing act of awkward heels and toppling furniture. She had managed to keep from falling over. The chair had not. "What the ******** Poke!" She screeched, glaring at the dragon before looking down at herself.
"The hell were you doing under there? This isn't a peep show!" Her hands tugged at the hem of the skirt as if trying to pull it down further than it would actually go. She had not realized Poke wasn't alone yet. Maybe it was better that she didn't.

Poor Brenley seemed like he was having a meltdown. Ignatius just seemed more amused than anything. Filing the "Ruth" name away, Ignatius watched as Brenley floundered in front of her and her underdressed boil companion, and he snorted. While part of him wanted to bring Brenley in and play up the fake dating, he decided he wouldn't torment Brenley any more than he was already being tormented by whatever Blondie seemed to be on at the moment... "Yes, we're just friends." Even so, he did reach over to pat Brenley's shoulder for a moment before continuing, "But anyway, if you're a Princess, is this frogboil date of yours a Prince?" Why had she been confused if he was a frog or a boil, anyway? Did the frogboil have a natural form of an ordinary frog? Maybe that was what was going on... His thoughts were thrown off by the sensation of something whacking him square in the face. A minipet? Ignatius snatched the small wonderfox out of the air once it fell. Well, alright then. xTiH Student Council Could I grab the Wonderfox? sn: seiana, and thank you : D

Smiling, Xiu gently rest her head against Junko's and offered Seiji a warm smile in reply to his own. She was content to remain silent and bask in the silly chatter between her friends--up until Junko's question, anyways. The ghoul's eyes widened at that, and she was quick to let out a nervous laugh and shake her head in denial.
"Oh, don't worry--it's nothing like that!" she assured her friend, nodding along with Hel's words ("majestic stag", jack bless her), "I came with Vaith tonight. I thought it'd be a good idea to drag him out for the event."
Her gaze then slid past them as she suddenly spotted Riyo just a few paces away. A second glance revealed that Poke and an unfamiliar boil were there as well, ducked beneath one of the tables. Xiu couldn't fathom why but then again, it wouldn't have been the first time someone had done something like this at prom. A part of her wanted to go over and say hello, but at the same time, she wanted to spend at least a little more time with her current group as well. Decisions, decisions...
In the end, she settled for cupping her hands round her mouth. "Riyo, Poke!" she called out, deciding that the very least that she could do right now was offer them a greeting. If they looked over, they would find the baku smiling, both hands in front of her and waving simultaneously at the trio. Hopefully they would have a chance to catch up later.
Glancing back at the others then, she offered them a little grin. "I don't know about you guys, but this all feels a little odd to me. I mean, the fact that there so many students here that I don't recognize at all." In the past, the students who had attended prom were almost all at least vaguely familiar to the ghoul since they had shared classes and seen each other in the halls. However, with all of the new student enrollments since she had graduated Amity, Xiu found that there were more unfamiliar faces than familiar ones among the crowd tonight.

Nekhbets jaw drooped a little when Hayes offered his arm so easily. Clearing her throat and correcting the position of her jaw the ghoul smiled and wrapped her arm around the offered appendage. Now he was acting like the right boil. "Hmm..." She thought slowly as her eyes moved about the other various students. "There is a food table I saw, and students are passing through a mirror. Obviously to the rest of the festivities. Take me to the table first. They have such a lovely delight there that I must try!" Giving her purse a glance over she nodded with satisfaction. At least he was carrying it for her. "After that I'll let you pick the next place we go to visit." Nekhbet beamed up at Hayes ignoring the strange skitting of a scarab as it made it's way out of her bandages across his arm before disappearing below the surface once again.

The dragon made only a sound of acknowledgement, unsure. He was silent for an extended period, seemingly amazed with the speed in which the dragoness was putting snacks away. He had glanced toward the cupcakes at her mention, but nothing more. Cupcakes were something typically sweet; sweet was something he knew he didn't particularly care for if given the choice.
He sipped the drink he'd chosen, remaining close to his date and just observing.
If it had startled him to hear Lou's trumpet blast, he hadn't shown it. He did look in the direction of the entrance with a flicker of irritation, thinking perhaps that someone was trying to be obnoxious; of which he was correct.
And then someone else was screaming far too close to them. Tanvir's attention went from Li Shou's shrieking to Pokerus' coughing. He put a hand to Poke's back, giving a careful few pats in hopes of helping dislodge whatever she'd inhaled instead of swallowed.
While the black dragon had no idea who the vampire was, he was moderately certain that he didn't want the boil anywhere near him. Poke might have been loud at times, but Lou took only seconds to prove himself as obnoxious and disrespectful to boot.
Unfortunately for the vampire, Tanvir didn't take the bait of his mocking. He only glowered at the boil and hoped that he would get the idea that he wasn't pleased with the sudden closeness. He also had no idea what his 'nickname' meant, and he really didn't care to know or ask.
A similar lack of understanding in slang had him glancing at Poke in wordless question as the boil referred to her as butch. That had surely been an insult, too.
"Regardless of that," he replied as not to look a complete fool, "I'm sure a 'butch babe' is waves better than associating with someone such as yourself."
Tanvir made a very short gesture of glancing past the vampire. "I also notice that you seem to have attended alone."
Suddenly Poke was screaming in retaliation and wrenching him away. He hadn't yet gotten more than annoyed, and it was actually a shame to miss whether or not he had managed to hit one of the vampire's nerves in turn.
Poke was stronger than she looked outwardly, aside from Tanvir generally not wanting to pull against her, and so he ended up half-dragged in her chosen erratic path. He really didn't like crowds, he realized extremely belatedly once he was in the middle of one, wings pressed against and even slightly around his shoulders awkwardly as he tried not to trip over his own spiked tail.
There wasn't immediately a protest when his date decided that underneath a table was the perfect hiding spot, though it was even more awkward for him to fit under it with her. He was going to ache like hell before this night was over, and if someone didn't step on or fall over his tail it was going to be a miracle.
He didn't like small spaces either.
It was approximately fifteen seconds after Pokerus had crawled out from under the table before his discomfort got to be too much to bear. Rather than taking the time to pull himself out from underneath the table - something that would have been much calmer and acceptable - Tanvir stood up. The dragon boil pushed the table out of his way with the bulk of his wings as he did so, literally flipping it aside behind him and barely missing his own tail that snaked around his feet like it had a mind to keep itself safe.
He looked quite disheveled when he glanced at Xiu, hearing the ghoul shouting for Poke before he saw the movement of her waving. Not knowing who she was, and presuming that she didn't know who he was just the same, his attention broke away just as quickly and he seemed to just then remember to tuck his wings in close to himself again.
It felt like it was getting really hard to breathe in here, and that was alarming considering how thick the air in his dorm typically was. Rather than voicing anything on the matter, the dragon just stood rigid and managed to look even paler than usual.

Ashanti giggled politely at first, then louder and more unrestrained as Aure's face became covered in icing. The laughter took over her whole body, wings and tail trembling with the amusement.
"We do indeed!" she said between giggles. It took her a few moments to recompose herself, gently smoothing her dress and picking up a napkin to help her date wipe off her face. "You seem to have gotten some of the confection on your nose here." She smiled sweetly at her.
"In answer to your questions before your face became a tasty treat, the size does impress me of this event. So informal, as well. I'm used to very rigid expectations and formalities that have to be followed. It's rather... refreshing, actually. I like it."

Poke watched the sudden acrobatic show, her brow arching at the glare that was thrown her way (It wasn't like she had seen anything, not to mention she was not interested kthxbai). "I'm hiding from Lou" She stated, pretty sure that would be the only explanation needed. It was about this time the dragoness was reminded of the presence of her date, whom had enough of being under the table and flipped the object as he stood with a loud clang. She flinched at the sound, happy for the loud music that was still blaring and hoped it would cover the sound. "Tanvir?" She said with some note of concern in her voice, before her attention was distracted by a smiling baku. She grinned and waved back to Xiu, making a mental note to try talk with her at some point tonight. If she could get these two to follow. She then turned back to the dragon who, if it was possible, was looking more pale. "You alright?" s**t, had she injured him when she dragged him about? Jack dammit maybe she should have just decked Lou instead. Or just put up with it instead of dragging him around like a rag doll. "Do you need to go outside?" She was being a great date tonight wasn't she? Her attention then went back to Riyo, taking a moment to straighten and brush off any dust on her coat as she did. "So why are you sitting here all by your lonesome? You looked like you just ate a bag of lemons." Kaiyumi OMG I FORGOT TO QUOTE YOU SRRY TAT

At the first answer in the negative, the sparkles surrounding her eyes winked into darkness. Her whole forehead suddenly eclipsed in shadow despite having absolutely nothing that could cast it. Her lower lip trembled in disappointment, but Brenley managed to turn the tide when he confirmed she was indeed a Princess.
"Yaaaaaaay!" she cheered, practically lighting up like a Jack-o-Lantern and throwing her arms open in an attempt to embrace both Brenley and Ignatius. "Who's Ruth?" she asked with a deranged smile while looking up at the pair.
Without missing a beat she babbled on, "Oh he's not really my date. I played a game and kissed him as a frog and then he turned into a boil. But according to almost every Boodith McNaughty books ever written, his appearance means he's the second leg to a love triangle." Here she looked a little disappointed, "So since the two of you are just friends, does that mean he's not the second leg to your love triangle?"
Hector was clearly more interested in the food, but then gave a startled "Whoa, is that your date then?" when a minipet appeared out of nowhere to land on Ignatius.Smerdle Ruth is a shipper now and forever.

After a few moments he adjusted to the volume of the music joined with that of hundreds of excited voices and allowed his hands to fall casually to his sides. His scarlet eyes still scanned the seemingly endless room in an attempt to spot the white Kitsune that was his twin. He found neither hide nor hair of Yako and felt himself being torn between desperately wishing for the familiar, and being quite enamored with the strange and new world opening up before him. Any self-respecting Kitsune would have taken advantage of this atmosphere to pull a few pranks, but without his other half Zenko didn’t feel much like doing anything at all.
With a frown framing his countenance he found an empty seat and lowered himself into it. His cheek fell into the palm of his hand and he stared listlessly into a discarded cup that had previously housed some kind of fowl smelling brew. His father had expelled them from the only thing they had ever known. Even when he was a fox he mainly roamed the expansive grounds, never really needing to stray too far. Now that he was out in the world he felt lost. He hadn’t ever had to be social for he always had a constant companion readily available in his twin brother, he wouldn’t even know how to speak to another if he had to. In all honesty he felt as though none of them would be as worthy as his brother, that none of them would ever measure up or understand him as Yako did.

It had been Aphrodi's plan to take the fast way into the gym, through the magic mirror. However...
As he neared the magic mirror Cosette still hopping a ride on his back, she pulled away nearly knocking him off balance for the second time that night.
"Cosette~ what is it?"
"Is that made out of.. glass?" The bipedal-frog ghoul asked as she tried to shrink back away from the most likely simple portal. She was still clinging to Aphrodi's back though, so all she could do was somewhat block her view with Aphrodi's spiked up white hair.
"I doubt it. Do you-"
"We are going around, there's got to be another way into this gym thing. Also, it looks like a castle to me, never heard of a Gym-castle before."
"Ah, yeah.. there are doors on the other side."
Cosette kneed him in the side. "Then go that way. I'm not getting any closer to that maybe-glass-thing."
Giving up, Aphrodi nodded and began the trek around the side of the gym turned castle. What a sight they might have been if everyone else weren't caught up in their own prom-drama. It was probably for the best that this actually didn't make them stick out. Aphrodi hadn't paid much attention to the theme of the prom and simply hazarded a guess that there had to be some fairy tail or story involving a drowned sea-fairer. So he'd switched out his normal jumpsuit for a pair of nice white pants and a red and blue sleeveless shirt. Over it he'd tossed a torn and wispy looking captain's coat he'd found that someone had thrown out, and topped that with a red sash... he looked sort of military. At least he thought he did, not that it really mattered, he hadn't had a date at the time. Now he did have a date, well frog-date. At least Cosette matched a bit, in her white tank top, wide red, white & pink tutu, and knee-high black boots. If she'd been wearing wings, he would have guessed she was a demented fairy-bug.
The entrance comes into view as Aphrodi steps onto a darkly glittering trail. "Okay, hop off." He says as he slows down to let Cosette to her feet. Date delivered to the doors, mostly, he attempts to smooth out his outfit. The frog that clung to him earlier is given a safe seat on his shoulder. He doesn't have time for anything else before Cosette is dragging him by the hand into the main area.
A few boils and ghouls were dancing, though most seemed to be chatting or around the tables. Cosette's pink eyes took on a sparkle as she looked around. "Lot's to do, isn't there? Yeap!" He yelped as Cosette dragged him right towards the dance floor. "Dancing, got it."
He didn't know the song that was playing, but that didn't matter to Aphrodi. He picked up the beat the best he could and moved with his date on the floor. Living in a circus all his life was good for one thing, you typically didn't have problems doing things infront of creeple. So they danced like no one was watching. And if they were, who cared?!

PhiferWolf apologies if I'm going out of order. His mouth tightened a little, as he gave a tiny nod again. Yes that whole event had been... more than embarrassing. And still, he felt a bit of awkwardness and hesitance around Uru from it. In the past, it wasn't often for him to feel so lacking in confidence, or out of place, but he'd felt so overwhelmingly uncomfortable and foreign to that gathering. Alienation was something he was beginning to come to terms with... but that wasn't a good thing.
Following Uru's lead, tucking his large wings tightly to his sides to keep out the way, his stomach clutched a little nervously as they got closer and closer to the opposing side that the hellhound had been previously. Doing all he could to keep his chest lifted, and head upright, rather than shrivel and hunker down as he'd felt compelled to as of late, his eyes flickered to the individual Uru prompted once they reached their destination.
Someone he'd not met, which was no surprise. There was a small hesitation, before Qui finally gave a little nod of greeting to Damien, to show his respects. Uru's date... that was something he was fairly surprised of. Not that he didn't think the big guy could get a date, just... it was refreshing to know and see. Still... it didn't seem like his sort of thing, this place. But who was Qui to talk. There was plenty he didn't know about the canine.
But there was that twinge of jealousy, again.

Jory's head cocked gently to one side as his boilfriend seemed to spot someone familiar. He followed his line of sight, hoping to pick the person out of the crowd, but it wasn't until the larger boil was leading him over that the smaller figured out who he was talking to. A ghoul. A pretty ghoul with wild hair and lovely features. The afanc blinked, tongue giving a nervous little flick over drying lips as Zaire called over to the ghoul. Something uneasy stirred at the pit of Jory's stomach. Insecurities and something dark and ugly that hadn't existed until a few weeks prior. Jealousy. It had him tightening his hold on Zaire's hand, fingertips making anxious little circuits over tanned skin as The reaper and mahamba greeted each other. When he both monsters were addressed as a pair that tight grip loosened, just a touch. He offered a smile, though it was a small one. Not unfriendly, just shy. Y-yes." His voice was soft. "Are you?" The Mistress' laughter expertly covered the small chuckle that Seiji couldn't quite stop at his fiance's nickname from Hel, but just in case, he turned it into a soft cough at the end. It was amusing, but clearly the monster ghoul wasn't a fan, and he certainly wasn't going to caught encouraging the valkyrie. No sir. He was much smarter than that. The ghouls could bicker it out amongst themselves. Seiji slid away from his fiance with a last linger touch to her shoulder, heading over to stand beside Vaith instead. "Good to see you, too. I was starting to wonder about you." Of and on, over the course of the last couple of years. He ave Hel a smug little smile at the challenge, or offer. "Anytime, ghouly. I'll beat you one of these days." Xiu's called greeting pulled the hungry ghost's attention up and out into the room again, and glowing eyes flicked from face to face. Some familiar, some not so much. "I know the feeling, Xiu." Seiji attended classes still, but he tended to keep to himself. Part of that was a desire to get his work done, so he could graduate, but part was simply because he didn't know his classmates anymore. Most had already left the school.

Zar did not miss Amityville very much, it had been a difficult part of his life, fraught with sadness, anxiety and difficulties. It was only towards the end that he had really begun to warm to the school, but by then it was too little too late, he'd already cemented it in his mind as the place that had almost killed him and had contrived to ruin his best laid plans for success.
He was free of it now though, free of it and finally in the company of those he had never dared entertain as friends let alone more than that.
"It is rather strange, after being away, the world feels so much larger outside the confines of this place, but its also rather pleasant to be back." he found it amusing to think there would be no alcohol most likely, no grand banquets, and at the same time, that was almost safe. His own satisfaction seemed to glow through the link and he was all warmth and charm, devoid of the usual uncertainty and anxiety, he moved with Calder on his arm as if the other boil simply belonged there.
"Old? Hardly." Zar said. "Barth isn't even old and he is rather ancient compared to us. We are in the prime of life and if it is good enough for older than us to attend Amity then we have every right to be here." Calder got a toothy grin. "You look ravishing by the way little red." and he smiled with playfulness hardly seen from him, splaying the huge wing closest to the other boil to hook a long wingfinger around his hip possessively.
"Do you dance?" he asked
