Eiji "Gin" Mishima  "I guess they didn't want to throw any of their more powerful fighters at me. It'd be best to divert us while Yamato closes in on whoever he considers the biggest threat...tch." Gin managed to escape the ambush after a couple of quick battles, and the people he defeated had agreed to give up their rights to the battle rather than join Daichi, a choice he was surprised by. Yamato's followers were much more loyal than he could have imagined, and even people with an honest side to them like Makoto felt compelled to help him, proving his charisma wasn't a simple fluke. "I have to defeat someone significant to get his attention, but he knows not to take a fair fight if it could put him at a disadvantage. It's actually quite aggravating how clever Yamato Hotsuin is." Worse was the fact that the only way between towns relied on the Terminals, meaning that Yamato could not be fooled and ambushed inside of his own town. The only way Gin would have a battle was to coax someone out...but doing so was no easy task. Who did he know on the Meritocracy team, whose skin he could get under...? Quote: Gin survives. Eiji "Gin" Mishima "Sano...I don't think you really know what 'washed up' means. It's not something you say to an up and coming band like Nyx. Touma'd kill you." Gin wondered if the Gallen sibling would even have the balls to stand in front of Touma after a couple minutes of his cold attitude, but Sano was spitting fire at least as he immediately threatened Gin all the same. Tokyo was a frightening place, but he hadn't expected that he'd see such a familiar face, or that Yamato and the other JPs agents would allow it. This was a surprising encounter, but one that could tip the scales out of the favor of Hotsuin and the JPs dogs who wanted to create an unrighteous world. It was people like him who ruined the old one in the first place. "Someone has to fix the world. Morons like you just keep messing it up...so I'll return it to the way it was, with or without your help! Step aside." Gin raised his phone as Lucifer appeared next to him, an impressive summon that would perhaps convince Sano not to challenge him after all. Quote: Gin accepts the challenge. Current Demons: Lucifer

Sano Gallen "Touma? You mean Pink Boy? Like I give a damn what he thinks!" Touma was in his faction so he had to tolerate him. Plus there was the battle against Megrez he assisted with but he still did all the hard work! "Feh! The old world was a hunk of junk! We'll turn it into something much more exciting.. Just be thankful I'm not gonna kill you this time!" It would be a huge blow to the Daichi gang if a tough fighter like Gin was dragged over to their side. Eiji "Gin" Mishima "Tch...you don't understand, Sano. You can't win...even if you defeat me, you're only sending this world downhill." Gin knelt as his first demon vanished before the Tokyo Team's spearhead, accepting his defeat. He'd been the one to come into Tokyo and challenge Sano right after Makoto and the others ambushed him, and so he'd been at a disadvantage, but he'd been arrogant enough to think he could overcome it. But Sano didn't plan to kill him when his first demon went down, and that was his mistake...providing Gin an opportunity he would gladly accept. He looked up at Sano, and smirked despite his loss, letting out a sigh and standing up. "Don't worry if it's too confusing for you right now...I'll have plenty of time to explain it to you. You won, so the rules say I'm teaming with you now. Whether you win, or time proves me right and you and I both end up on someone else's team...we'll see. I have faith in my friends, as always." Losing was always bitter, but now Gin was side by side with Sano to keep him in check from close range. Sano couldn't turn on those in his team, which meant that he'd unintentionally given Gin safe passage for now. He had to live with the weight of his victory, and he had to keep this win going...otherwise, Sano's shallow goals would slip out of grasp soon enough. Eiji "Gin" Mishima "Nix...I told you not to come here. Tokyo's dangerous. I thought you understood that..." Seeing Nx here made him curse the phone call he'd made earlier. In the end he'd given in and sent her a message to take care, but just as he'd envisioned she was unable to stay back afterwards, and now Sano and his sister were facing off...but in this apocalypse, there was nothing holding back Sano from trying to finish his sister once and for all. And Gin, bound by the rules they'd set to reach Polaris, couldn't protect her if something happened. "Leave Nix, in this city anyone could-!" That's when Sano cut in, barking an order his way. He wanted Gin to turn on Nix and fight her? The thought was just the sort of thing a demented person like him would come up with, but it showed that Sano didn't realize the power of this competition. This was an opportunity...one he wouldn't squander. "You b*****d. I won't let you get away with this. Nix...Nix, summon your demons!" Gin raised his phone, sending a message as his demon appeared. Lightning crashed down near Nix, proving his intention to battle. It was time to begin...with the fate of both of them at risk.

Eiji "Gin" Mishima "Zaou Gongen, don't give her demons any quarter." The mighty warrior shaped god appeared next to him, and though Gin wanted to hold back, he had to at least try to take out Nix's demons with devastating ferocity. Sano was watching, and more importantly it was clear at this point that Polaris was watching, judging their competition with a serious air that sought to determine the new ruler of this world. Half-hearted displays and rule breaking would only serve to sow chaos amidst humanity, and weaken their chances of fixing this situation. "Don't hold back Nix...for the good of everyone!"  Ellie Troit, Heroine, and Ruler of Troitown!! Ellie had followed Nix in secret out of the town, and was skulking around in the shadows. She couldn't leave the poor girl out in enemy territory without any defense to herself! [Demons nonwithstanding].
As she peered around the corner though, a single app users looked up at her. "Huh? Who's the.." the man called, before her arms were gripping the man by his neck, and she squeezed tightly.
