Wrath was seething by the time he struck at Merlin's monstrous form for the second time. He remembered how the man had controlled them, how he'd shattered the mirror with the Sidhe queen still behind it, how had used them all, a means to his end.
The sword connected a second time, harder than even before, every ounce of his strength going into the swing, and there was no sweeter feeling.

And with one final slash, Wrath backed away, eyes steely and cold, fixated on their enemy. Rolling his shoulders, he took a chance to glance around, to check on the brigade of Red knights that he was to be leading, and to look for one other familiar face as well.
Ah, there she was! As beautiful and perfect as always, and, it seemed, unharmed as well.

Jason just laughed, and leaned over to place a hand on her hair, ruffling it up a little "Of course not sister" He was fully intent on ignoring Merlin, but with it being pointed out Jason sighed, turning around with his sword drawn.
"You guys can stay back here, Because it is my sworn duty as a great knight to protect you all!"

A part of him wouldn't have minded what Lady Riley did, to just stay in the moment. Being beside Noemi, forgetting how there were more precedent matters at hand. But there were and a bigger part of him was itching for battle. (There was also a voice in his head yelling for it).
Milo followed willfully, sparing a glance to where they were leaving the others before turning to the shadow and the king locked in battle. Pulling his pole arm, he gave it a small twirl before he too added his own strikes upon Merlin.

Arrakis was glad to see Ignatius still alive and--as far as he could tell--all in one piece. He gave him a weary, but proud, smile as he tried to keep an eye on what was happening out there with everyone else. Occasionally he shouted a warning, almost went back out there himself before reminding himself that resting for a moment was alright too. He turned back to Ignatius. "I'm glad to see you made it out."

Out of the corner of his eye, he noticed Noemi's retreat back. He drove forward and landed another hit upon Merlin.

There was a little extra flourish to his attack; a little more twirl of his kamayari and a little more pivot in his step. He might have been trying to show off his a little, but he felt really good about his swing. It landed strong and hard, made him grin.
Milo then rejoined Noemi on the sidelines as the others kept at it. His free arm swung out and caught her by the waist once more and gave the pair of them a little spin. He was still caught in the blissful moving moment of the sisters' reunion and invigorated by the fight; so yeah, he was in a good mood.

She quietly filed away the effect she had on him when she looked at him that way, for further study. She also filed away the squeamish wince when she poked him, which was studied almost immediately after he'd struck Merlin a few times. This one she wanted to know for sure.
She'd all but blocked out the thought of Lancelot, and how he'd died at their hands. She'd had to. If not, she wouldn't have been able to pick up her sickle again, and Merlin deserved to feel the force of their revenge. She did not regret putting aside her non-violent tendencies, for a beast that had turned them against one of their own.
So she turned her mind to thoughts that did not fill her with overbearing anger, and continued to tease Yuki instead. She did so with her finger, because it was working. Her eyes, however, were saved for whether he continued to keep his silence or not.

While Ignatius had just been setting up shop near where Arrakis was standing, he certainly welcomed the smile from the Great Knight and returned it in kind, containing much less of the weariness that Arrakis had shown, but perhaps with the same amount of pride. They could do this!
And hopefully everyone would make it out alright. Or most everyone. What would become of those who had mutated?
Ignatius shook his head at that, turning his attention strictly to Arrakis for a few moments. "I'm glad to see you did, too."
Perhaps the most unexpected of those currently standing there were the Seven Great Knights, not yet sacrificed for the greater purpose that Lancelot had said they would serve. Hopefully, they would never be. Ignatius found that he would much rather have the Great Knights around than not, as least so long as they remained uncorrupted, and as least as long as a certain one remained his friend.
After a pause, he asked, "Have you see Piper or Brenley by any chance?" It was worth a shot. And it would let him deny what he had seen --

After he'd struck Merlin twice in quick succession, Yuki backed off as to clear the way for the next group of knights to move forward and continue the assault. They were winning; he was sure of that. There were, for once, more of them than the shadows that they had to defend themselves against.
For now, at least. Hopefully the odds remained in their favor.
Yuki jolted when Riley poked him in the ribs again, the gesture unexpected and startling. He realized quickly that it was her, though, but he could barely find it reassuring when she wasn't relenting.
"H-hey!" He was protesting immediately, jerking his body this way and that each time she was prodding at him, trying to escape the reach of her fingers. "Th-this isn't a fair fight!" But he was laughing, between his squirming and whining.

He was right. It was not a fair fight. So, in order to assure fairness, Riley began to prod herself against the ribs to check if she responded the same way he did. She felt the press of her finger, but (because it was her touch and not someone else's) nothing that made her laugh or flinch away.
"There." She announced, dropping her hands. "Now we are even."
Noemi watched as Milo did an amazing turn, spinning his weapon against Merlin in such a flourish it was hard for her to turn away from looking.
And then he was spinning her and she felt the head rush. With the revelations from Riley, and now milo's spin, Noemi was feeling light headed and light hearted.
They could do nothing more against Merlin, but at this moment she didn't care. She wanted to feel Milo against her, and to relish in the idea that once...Once she had light and love and family.
Whatever came. She had family.
