Snarling as her hand was slapped away, Kadyrelite quickly began to chortle as her fist made impact and the knight doubled over.
If you can't see the opportunity you've just been given, you're an idiot.
Still cackling, she soothed the youma by bringing up the hand that had been slapped and bending it so her elbow faced down. Then, she let herself drop a little. Little Miss Sassy Knight was about to get an elbow to the back of the neck as she was huddled over. A elbow with a fair bit of weight behind it no less. Okay. Now she was having fun.
"Wow," she said cheerfully, "you've sure shown me the light! Hair pulling really is soooo passé! This is much more my style!"
You talk to much, Strytha complained. Less talking, more hurting.
You got a lot to learn, y'little creep, Kadyrelite thought back. Sass talking helps with demoralizing the enemy.

Round 4: Kadyrelite (7) vs Pompeii (1)

“Damn...”
Certainly she'd not forgotten about the youma's ability to camouflage itself, having witnessed it only moments ago, but she'd been hoping the youma wouldn't see fit to use the skill again so soon. Either this youma was moderately intelligent or simply resourceful, and it disappeared no sooner than Palatine finished delivering her kick.
She searched around for it. Unable to distinguish it from the rest of her surroundings, she relied instead on her sense of hearing. This might have worked if she weren't being bombarded by the sounds of other battles nearby. As it was, she was barely aware of the rustling along the ground that would have alerted her to the youma's approach.
Palatine yelped as fangs sunk through her boot and into her ankle. The youma appeared again as soon as it latched on, and the squire used the opportunity to try and shake it off. When that proved to be little help, she lashed out with her other foot, this time aiming a kick toward the youma's head.
Unfortunately for Corinth... or for Aquamarine depending on how the battle ended... well, unfortunately for someone, Aquamarine wasn't the type to back out of a fight once it started. Especially not a fight he was confident he could win. He had things to prove, after all. Namely that he was a total badass. And also that he didn't need Jet or Seraphinite at his back to help out.
So over-confident was he that Aquamarine didn't notice the drum being shoved in his direction until it connected with his stomach. He wheezed at the loss of air and stumbled backward. There was a tree at his back (apparently he needed something there after all) to break his fall, but the impact was jarring. He was sure he'd be sporting bruises by the end of this.
“Not so helpless after all, are you?” he sneered, righting himself and sucking in a few deep lungfuls of air.
He wasted little time after that. As soon as he felt capable, Aquamarine was jumping back into the fray again, plastic sword aiming for the page's face.
"My mother taught me well, but this is war darling and you happen standing in the middle of battle. My tug on your clothing isn't at all the worst I can do to you. Please do get your head in the game."
He approached her with an air of arrogance that wasn't fully an act and balled his fist showing his intention to fight, "I've got a job to do dear and tonight that job is making she you don't ruin and plans."
He took a swing at the girls gut, feeling slightly bad. He couldn't say he approved of all this, but he would be lying if he said the rush wasn't exciting and the feel of power he got from being in the uniform didn't make him feel important. Hitting some girl he knew nothing about, not exactly his liking, but it was what it was.
Fulgurite watched her carefully, keeping out of her reach as much as possible. He didn't want to get hit if he could help it... not that coming come covered in bruises or worse wasn't a fairly regular occurrence for the young boy.
The corrupt rushed the senhi again, hair brushing his back as he swung for her again, a bit more wildly than he had intented. It threw him off balance and he stumbled, struggling to recover.

Elpisd - 2, 2, 10, 8, 6
This time Elpis let him come, grinning and taking a step back, grunting some at being hit before she flashed a grin that was best described as vicious, holding a hand up.
"Iron Spray Surprise."
She'd used it once before - instead she wondered how flexible her attack was, as the chunks of metal compliently flew into her hand, and she threw them at Fulguirite directly, waiting for the burst of metal breaking back apart into sharp metal. Hopefully, it would hurt the odd? Nutso? WHAT WAS HE? senshi.
Well, whatever kind he was, she was in game mode now, and she chuckled, even as she'd thrown.
Quote:
Sailor Scout Attack: Iron Spray Surprise Sailor Elpis faces an opponent, summoning chunks of iron ore into her hands. She then throws the chunks at an enemy's feet, where they burst apart into pieces of shrapnel. The chunks are sharp, and can cut through much less durable fabrics (Mostly silks or thin, cotton) and scratch skin, for a good deal of pain. Lasts 20 seconds before the iron ore disappears. Sailor Elpis can use this attack three times a day, though each time the cluster of ore is smaller.

Round 3 is: Leucite 1 v Havasu 4
With the hand that was still buried in the cadets uniform Havasu grabbed a handful of clothing and pulled down. He could feel the kid trying to get a hold on his arms and for once he was was glad for his long sleeve shirt, it not only helped him stay warm but it really did protect against attacks like that since the fabric was loose it was hard to get a firm grip unless one got a fistful of cloth. The page was hoping to pull the kid to the ground where he likely could keep him with a few strategic kicks and his string to keep the kid tied up, literally.
He was about to shove the kid to the ground completely when the nega seemed to actually get a grip on him, granted it was a weak hold but it threw Havasu off his plan. He broke the cadets hold and backed off. It seemed neither were terribly successful in their plans. "Why are you even here fly boy?" Maybe talking would throw the nega further off his game.
Round 4: Kadyrelite (7) vs Pompeii (1) Poor pompeii... and just so you are aware she will now have a forever grudge against Kadyrelite XD
Pompeii couldn't breath. She was desperately trying to catch her breath when a sharp force to the back of her neck drove her to her knees, her face nearly in the mud. Her mind blanked and for a second it was possible she had passed out. Suddenly her arm lashed out and weakly yanked at the nega's leg, trying to pull her off balance. Pompeii was in a rather dire situation and knew that regardless of how she really wanted to thrash this girl, distance was needed to take stock. Nothing had gone right ever since she had fallen into this hole. Could something have been in the hole that could be affecting her?
Her head throbbed to the rapid beat of her heart, it was hard for her to think. How could she get out of this?
Growling a his hold was broken Leucite tried his best to again try to grab hold onto Havasu, this time trying to grab him by the front of his outfit as he attempted to sweep his leg under the other males. So far things were not going to plan.
He looked into the other male's eyes, deeply - if the other man had any impressions as to why it might have even been romantic... if not for the pure seething malice in Leucite's eyes as he committed his opponents face to memory.
He would find this knight again... and he would beat the ever living s**t out of him.
He blamed Amenthes being in trouble - and his inability to get between her and his own side to prevent her from harm. He was really off his game.
If Havasu's words even registered to Leucite it didn't show, he just glared and tried to sweep the leg.

Sunshine Alouette
Corinth 5 vs. Aquamarine 6
Corinth saw the sword coming again, but there was really little he could do to dodge it given his current position as he swiftly pulled back on his drum to bring it back to him. He was abusing the poor thing but he'd do what he had to, to survive this fight. Ducking his head, he felt the plastic blade slide along this temple and across his scalp fairly harshly, causing him to blink through tears brought on by the pain.
Growling a bit, he lashed out again with his foot, trying to plant a firm kick to the other boy's shin or knee.
Grim satisfaction ran through her as the stick rammed into the eye and gouged deep. Aludra gritted her teeth and clung to her weapon in a desperate white knuckled grip, even as the beast struck again. The blow drove her back to the ground before she could get up properly and it took all her energy just to scramble out of the way.
Get up. Get up. Get up. The mantra took form and she swayed upright, sobbed as something in her chest caught and sucked in another painful breath. But she had to fight. She had to survive. If she could just knock it out for a moment, she could get away.
Aludra swung the stick again but with her cracked ribs, there was less force behind the blow than she would have liked. That she had magic, that might have been useful, still hadn’t occurred to her.

So this was what it was like to have a fight go right! No wonder some of the other officers went out of their way to hunt for senshi or Knights to beat around. Kadyrelite staggered slightly as she felt her leg pulled. Still laughing, she took a step or two back and delivered a kick squarely to the other girl's ribs.
"Let's see how you like it," she hissed. "Let's see you keep acting all ******** high and mighty now."
Strytha thinks you have anger issues, little one. Though you are doing a very good job of thrashing the knight.
Distracted for a moment and giddy with mingled triumph, fury and resentment, Kadyrelite forgot that she didn't have to actually talk in order to talk to her awful little passenger.
"I didn't ask for your ******** opinion, you little goddamn monster," she practically shouted, forgetting the knight for a moment. "Why can't you just shut the hell up and leave me alone?"
Temper. Kadyrelite knows that Strytha's job is to improve her. Of course, it continued slyly, if Kadyrelite would rather have the sting than words of advice and encouragment...
The threat was enough to cool the lieutenant's temper. She didn't want to feel that sickening sting again. Shaking her head irritably, she did her best to clamp down on her temper.
Good girl.
Taking a deep breath, Kadyrelite closed her eyes. Deal with the knight, she thought. It's easier.

It felt as if Dallol had stepped into a slow motion movie set of sorts. The cloud of spores that Mothro had kicked up sent the Squire into yet another coughing fit, her eyes watering as she gasped and wheezed to try to purge her lungs of the poisonous cloud. She saw the youma charging towards her and willed her limbs to move, doing whatever was still avail to her in her current semi-immobilized state to parry or evade the impending attack.
But it was too late.
It felt as if a raging bull was trying to run her over. The collision knocking the air entirely out of Dallol's lungs as it sent her flying a couple of feet back into a tree with a pained cry.

Lorne watched the spider youma man slowly pull himself away, and he was too shell shocked from the whole thing to do anything much to stop him. Instead he just sort of crouched down, then sat with his back against a nearby tree, staring off where the thing had vanished into the bushes and trees and what-not. He couldn't even truly appreciate the fact that he'd won - first of all it had been dumb luck and a few accidental potshots in the heat of the moment. Secondly, was this really what he wanted? This was what he'd come all this way back for?
Abruptly, he felt lonely as he sat there, tucking his legs against himself and wrapping his arms around them. Here he was surrounded by senshi and knights alike, and still, he was alone.
It wasn't just his location that had to change - he needed to do more. He just wasn't sure where to start.

Quoted for mention even if he gone like invisible ink in the best way I'm so sorry. xd
"Still firmly caught by the snare, Harmonia was finding little chances to try and get herself free with the Nega circling around her like a vulture. She felt like a prize piece of meat the way he was focused on her and it made her very uneasy considering the position she was in. Still a little fire was bubbling up within as the sounds of other battles went on around her. "I would say Painite got me. You've done nothing but hit a girl while she's down. Jerk."
She saw him prepare for his next attack and as the afghan came hurtling towards her face she rolled onto her side and felt the fabric clip the back of her head. The impact was enough though to force her head downwards creating a mild whiplash sensation.
Not really in a position to attack, she did the next best thing she could think of, She rolled back towards the Nega in hopes to knocking him off balance enough that she might trip him up and bring him to the ground. Maybe then she'd get the chance to get herself free from the damn snare.
