Cresting the hill top and descending down the other side the twins races towards the small town as fast as they could without giving Nis another asthma attack. Sin was wining or course but he could have gone much faster if he wasn't keeping pace with his sister who was starting to slow. "OK, Nis that's enough you can have this one." He said slowing down holding onto his sisters shoulder as she took deep heavy breaths until they came to a stop. "Your gonna hurt yourself and moms gonna kill me if you die ya'know." He teased rubbing her back making sure she was alright. "It serve you right for being such a lousy brother i suppose." She countered having caught her breath. "Well at least we made good time. Opening his eyes Warren saw the normal blue sky, not a distortion one. The second thing he felt was the strong thug of Shieldon's head as he bumped Warren's arm to wake him up. Sitting up he smiled at his friend and gave him a side hug, “Thank you, I'm up and it looks like we're both out of that strange place,” touching his Pokeballs he was happy to see that none got lost in the transport back here. Returning Shieldon he pulled himself up and looked around. According to a sign nearby whatever sent him back here spat him out in Littleroot which was fine as it was close to the lab where they had stolen Chica. Wandering the area he noticed that one of Birch's lab techs leaving a house. Peeking inside he saw no one was home and this guy was an inventor of sorts. Sneaking in he stole several components and went back out to where he had arrived and sat against a tree. Spreading the pieces out he went to work attempting to build anything. It appeared that the man was working on a portable PC or something like that. With enough tweaking Warren might be able to make something useful, maybe something to steal Pokemon from transfers or something. Even though he met a few nice people he wasn't about to turn from his family of criminals and go straight. First off he wanted to collect and have a team of all fossil Pokemon, then he'd need to get gym badges so that they would always obey him. The last step in part one of the plan would be to recruit others to join his new team. These thoughts swirled in his mind as he continued working on the device.

Warren had seen that there was a festival going on however he wasn't interested in playing games or anything like that, he simply wanted to grow his team stronger. While finishing up the device he was working on a new alert came through the basic Pokedex that he had stolen. Opening the application he saw that at the festival Team Plasma had made an announcement. They were at the festival and urging trainers to release their Pokemon, however in the past their words would go from words to actions rather quickly, forcing trainers who lost to them to give up their Pokemon. To show the admins of Team Plasma that they were wrong Warren decided that he was going to the festival however only to take the weaker team down. Maybe he could convert some of the grunts to leave and join his team instead. Finishing the device he looked it over before sending out Shieldon. “Do you have that fossil?”“Shie,” Shieldon had a pack on him and shook out a Helix Fossil. Thanking him Simon placed it into the device to transfer it into his PC. There was a glowing light that grew blinding. When Warren uncovered his eyes he was amazed to see instead of transferring the fossil the device had revived it into, “Omanyte the spiral Pokemon. A prehistoric Pokemon that lived in the primordial sea, it swims by twisting its ten tentacles about.” The water Pokemon came out slowly to Warren who smiled, “Hello Omanyte, I'm Warren this is Shieldon, welcome to our team. I think I'll name you Nyte.” Omanyte seemed to smile as Warren returned him into the Pokeball. “Do we have any others?” Shieldon provided an Old Amber of which Warren revived as well. “Aerodactyl the fossil Pokemon. Aerodactyl is a Pokemon from the age of dinosaurs. It was regenerated from genetic material extracted from amber. It is imagined to have been the kind of the skies in ancient times.” Aerodactyl walked out and cocked his head as Warren introduced himself again. Nicknaming him Flight he returned all of them and dug out a Cover Fossil from his pack however the machine seemed to have stopped working. Putting it away with the device he decided to try again later or revive the others the normal way.

On his way towards the train station to get to the festival or whatever was going on Warren noticed a hidden stash of items under some tree roots. Picking up the two Pokeballs he released a shiny Cranidos and a huge Aurorus. “Are you two abandoned?” The pair looked at each other and nodded causing Warren to frown. How could anyone just abandon their Pokemon especially ones as awesome as these fossil Pokemon. “You can come with me then,” he said sending out Shieldon. “I love fossil Pokemon and this is my first Pokemon, if you come with me I promise to never abandon you.” Shieldon repeated this for the most part to the others and they looked happy and nodded. Returning Shieldon Warren took out two of his own Pokeballs. “Cranidos for now on your name is Bash.”“Cran!” said the red Pokemon as Warren returned him and put the ball on his belt. Looking up at the beautiful ice Pokemon he smiled. “I think I'm going to call you Tandura.” Aurorus bleated loudly and happily as Warren returned her as well. His journey just started a few days ago and he already had a full team along with almost all the fossils to have all the fossil Pokemon. Now he would have to consider what Pokemon his teammates on team Ruin would have. Any they wanted really however he'd like them to have at least one fossil Pokemon on their teams.
Looking through the packs where he found the abandoned Pokemon he also discovered five moon balls, five Sitrus berries and a weird looking egg. The egg looked like one that Chansey was known to carry only a bit different. Tucking them away to he continued towards the train. Since it was free he thanked the conductor instead of stealing the ticket from him. Settling into a seat he opened his Pokedex to quickly read up on his two new team members. “Aurorus the Tundra Pokemon. The diamond-shaped crystals on its body expel air as cold as -240 degrees Fahrenheit, surrounding its enemies and encasing them in ice.” Then there was “Cranidos the head butt Pokemon. A lifelong jungle dweller from 100 million years ago, it would snap obstructing trees with headbutts.”

Calvin arrived back in Littleroot town, the town looking oh so familiar to him. It's been a few months since his first steps in Littleroot, but the place hasn't changed a bit. It was bustling with trainers who were just arriving in Hoenn via train route. The noise itself was manageable however, both Ryujin and Victoria both just shrugging it off it seemed. 'So, this is Littleroot town? Remind me, what are we here for again?" the Pokémon communicated, not too sure why they were there. Calvin felt like he should remind the Pokémon their reasoning for not going to Dewford.
"I'm sure Birch would find my findings on Cresselia very interesting. If it means coming to understand Pokémon even further, we need to assist as much as possible," Calvin said quickly, still wondering how a second-rate trainer managed to get a hold of a Cresselia, but that was besides the point. The man was so surprised that he managed to beat Cresselia that maybe he jumped to conclusions. Maybe he never lost before that point. Calvin had no idea, but to treat him the way the man did just because he won was irritating to say the least. Losing was a part of being a Pokémon trainer. Everyone loses once in awhile.
The trainer made his way to the lab of Professor Birch, the renowned Pokémon Scientist. He was not surprised to see that there was a line in front of the lab, a lot of the new trainers attempting to get their starters. It didn't take too long for Ryujin to be noticed either, everyone in the line pointing out that he was no normal Gallade. Calvin had to answer many questions as to what the Pokémon was. Calvin constantly had to wave off the questions as well, having answered it already in a loud enough voice for each of them to hear. He then escorted himself inside Birch's lab to let him know of his findings.

The ride from Twinleaf to Littleroot wasn't horribly long. Before long, he and the two tiny creatures were off the train and in Littleroot. Like Twinleaf, it wasn't all that impressive. But, it was a good place for beginning trainers. Turtwig looked around at the trainers that were around town and training their teams, his head perked in interest. Well, Yuu knew where Turtwig stood on the matter. I guess I wouldn't have to worry about him not being interested in entering the league."Alright. We have to head for Petalburg City. It was a good thing Pokémon didn't need tour guides. Well, not all Pokémon anyway. He knew some were more sophisticated than others. Turtwig seemed more than happy running around and examining every new thing he came across as Yuu followed at a casual pace. Baby, having napped enough for the moment, was awake but still curled around Yuu's neck like a pink and winged scarf. "He's a sweetheart.""Ma?" Yuu smiled softly and rubbed one of Baby's feathers. "So are you, Baby. Don't worry so much; you're still my sweet little hatchling." Yuu looked around and hurried after the Turtwig as he laid down on the grass. "Tired already, huh? After a while, Yuu decided it was best to simply carry the slumbering Turtwig. Not that he minded spending extra time away from Petalburg, but he did need some advice on both a name for Turtwig and the trainer thing. Picking Turtwig up, Yuu softly pet his head before heading for Oldale. He wondered if he should spend time in Oldale, too, so that the little guy could explore there when he woke up. It wasn't like they'd never return to the town, of course.

Calvin left the laboratory, glad to at least get a lead on where he could possibly go to find out about Ryujin's origins. Professor Juniper was who he needed to talk to next, but she was all the way in Unova. He thought to himself, wondering what it is he should do. Should he continue his journey in Hoenn for a little while longer or depart for Unova to meet with the professor. It didn't take him much longer to figure out what he desired to do. He would put his curiosity aside for a bit. Besides, Ryujin was not a fan of people studying him...and Juniper would surely do that, even more so than Birch had. Calvin didn't want to put the Pokémon through that. Not until he was ready to find out how he came about.
So, he made his way towards the exit of Littleroot, Victoria riding on his shoulders and Ryujin by his side. Of course, as they walked by a group, they all went out of their way to stop him and ask about Ryujin. A little girl did ask about Victoria too, wanting to pet her, but when the little girl attempted to do so, Victoria gave a warning bark. But after much convincing by both Calvin and Ryujin, the two persuaded her to allow herself to be pet...even held. There was no doubt in his mind that Ryujin did the majority of the persuading however, because there was no way Calvin could get her to get over her instinctual distrust of humans.

The town was bustling with life. The amount of houses that were around were small in numbers, but the amount of people just arriving by train to Hoenn was impressive. He couldn't imagine how hard it was to live there in Littleroot. If there was one thing about Fortree, he loved the quiet outdoor setting. He didn't have to deal with the screaming of young trainers, because to get there was difficult to say the least. Usually by the time people made it Fortree, the honeymoon phase of becoming a Pokémon trainer has worn off and they are much more calm. Plus, the wildlife was extraordinary, but it would take quite the long time before he would be able to go back. He had to win quite a few gyms before he would get the opportunity.
He knew he couldn't wait to get a chance to battle Winona, having known the woman while he was growing up. He knew that he became the champion of his town, he would have surpassed his uncle. His uncle had only gotten through the first five gyms. So, naturally, Calvin would be content with six, but that content certainly wouldn't last long because of his aspirations of becoming a Pokémon Master.

As the three of them made their way towards the exit of the city, the sun began to recede behind the horizon. The day had gone so quickly that Calvin had just lost track of the time. He figured he would maybe set up camp in Oldale once they arrived again, but he was beginning to grow hungry and needed food. After arguing with himself for what seemed like ages, tagged along with awkward asides by his Pokémon Ryujin, Calvin decided that it would actually be best to set up camp in Oldale once they arrived. They were only about an hour away and the sun wasn't completely behind the horizon as of that moment. So maybe they could reach their destination before the cool chill of nightfall ran its course on him and his Pokémon.
The three of them left the town of Littleroot en route to Oldale once again. Thoughts of Ryujin's origins still swirled in his head, but he kept it locked away for the time being. He needed to focus on getting to the destination. Calvin hoped that no wild Pokémon would attack him while on the route because he wouldn't have any mercy on their souls because of a hangry fit.

Finding himself back in Littleroot, the hunter looked around. Last he had been in Littleroot, something had been trailing him. He didn't want a confrontation until he knew what was following him. Hopefully nothing too worrisome... He could hope right? Taking a few tentative steps, Rowan heard small growling from his left. It seemed whatever it was had waited for his return. That could be a good sign right? Maybe? But whatever it was was growling, and Lithie didn't like that one bit. Landing on the ground, she growled the way of the growling and took off after what was threatening her Rowan! And whatever it was, she could handle it.
Out from behind a tree was came a Houndoom. It seemed in bad shape but was growling nonetheless. Lithie couldn't handle something of that size! And Rowan knew it. He raced after his Mudkip, eager to stop the girl before she got hurt, but not stopping her fast enough to get her out of harms way. The Houndoom used howl on Lithie before rowan could get there, and caused Lithie's heart to skip a beat. Getting there in time to grab the small water type, Rowan backed away slowly, before the Houndoom was passed by a puppy. A houndour in fact. He wasn't sure what was going on, but it seemed the mum was hurt and the puppy was newly hatched or not far from newly hatched. Rowan looked at the Houndoom while the Houndour came up and sniffed his pants leg.

Terrence looked around the area, and finally noticed the train station to the side of town. He probably should get to know his partner pokemon, and so he released him and smiled a bit. The little green grass-type blinked a few times, before looking up at him with big yellow eyes. The Treecko before him was actually kind of adorable, and Terrence wanted to hug it and coddle it. However, he knew he couldn't do that otherwise he might spoil the poor thing. He pursed his lips as the small pokemon crossed his arms and continued to look at him. Terrence gripped his bag tightly "um... hey little guy, I'm Terrence your new trainer. I'm not super strong, and I'm not the most stealthy guy around but um... I... I do try my best with everything and so I hope we get along" Terrence said softly, smiling at his pokemon. Treecko titled his head to the side, before startling Terrence and jumping into his back. Terrence, a bit flustered opened the top of his bag to see that Treeko was looking at everything in his bag "h.. hey! Don't do that, I just organized my bag- no, no drop that, it's not food!" he cried, snatching the small bottle from his hands.
Treecko seemed to glare at him, before tapping the bottle in his hands multiple times. Gulps, Terrence sighed. Would Treecko even understand what he was saying? It couldn't hurt to just tell him, he was his pokemon after all. Besides he should probably know if he was going to be traveling with him from now on. Terrence looked around, before leading them to a less crowded area. He then sat down and looked at Treecko. This was going to be interesting.

Terrence waited for the people around the area to thin out before looking back at Treecko "ok, so um... just listen for a bit. I'm not sure if you'll understand this but um... see this little bottle?" he asked, before shaking it a bit. Treecko tilted his head before nodding and tapping the bottle once more. Terrence took that as a sign that Treecko was understanding "see this isn't food, it's bad for pokemon like you... um" he stopped, before placing the bottle on the table and making an X with his fingers before pointing to the bottle and shaking his head. Treecko titled his head to the side, mimicking what he was doing before nodding. Well at least he was paying attention. Terrence then picked up the bottle again "right, ok so this little bottle is for me... it's something called medicine, but it's for humans like me" he said pointing to himself. Terrence waited as the Treecko gave him a confused look. Treecko pointed to the bottle and then himself and Terrence shook his head. Crossing his arms, Treecko then pointed towards the bottle and then towards him. Terrence nodded at that. Treecko's face lit up in understanding as he tapped the bottle and then tapped Terrence's chest. Terrence laughed softly "yeah that's right, it's for me" he said.
Terrence was thrilled that his partner seemed really intelligent, and so he continued. He pursed his lips "see this medicine is for me, because I'm sick" he said. Treecko seemed alarmed at this, and started checking him over. Terrence laughed "oh no I'm not injured, it's something that happens internally... er inside rather than outside" he said. Treecko still seemed confused. Terrence pursed his lips, before placing his hand on his heart "see it's chronic... it doesn't go away so my body is weaker than other people's" he said. Treecko seemed perplexed, before placing his little palm over his heart. Terrence nodded "yeah, so sometimes I'll need to rest to recover" he added, as Treecko just stared at him.

Terrence remained silent, as Treecko kept looking him over. It seemed that Treecko understood that his health was not good, and the little guy looked concerned about it. It touched Terrence that his new partner seemed to really care about him. Even though they're only been together for a small amount of time, it was like the little Treecko had been with him for years. It was actually a pretty good feeling. Terrence blinked as he looked down to see that the Treecko was actually hugging him and rubbing his cheek against his chest. It was adorable! Terrence smiled, and rubbed Treecko's back softly. After a bit of bonding time was over, Terrence put his pills away before standing up and holding Treecko in his arms. He looked down at the little guy "I still need to give you a name... hmm... what about Tera?" he asked. The Treecko seemed to scrunch his nose and shake his head. Terrence nodded "right, so maybe your male? What about Az?" he asked softly. Treecko tilted his head to the side and thought about it for a moment, before the little guy nodded and tapped his heart a few times with approval. Terrence laughed again "Az it is" he said. Once that was over with, Terrence strolled over to the ticket counter and purchased a ticket. He then moved over to the station his train was at and handed his ticket over to the person overseeing the passengers.
Once everything was settled down, Terrence took his own seat and rested his elbow against the window. He looked outside, taking a deep breath. He never really liked trains, for some reason they always made him feel queasy. Taking a deep breath, he looked over at Az, who was now asleep in his lap. Terrence looked out as the train began to move, and hoped that his journey would be a good one. He closed his eyes, drifting asleep soon after they were on their way to a new region.
