The duo had finally reached Petalburg City after almost a full day of hiking. Kaito knew he didn't have much daylight left, so he wasn't gonna waste any time traveling to the forest. Luckily the forest started on just the other side of the city, so roughly it was just another five minutes of walking... Which still sucked, at this point he was getting tired from a long day of adventures, and his feet were starting to get worn down from all the steps he'd taken that day.
Someway or another Caldo ended up in the lead, arms thrust up in the air and tail switching with excitement he stomped ahead with all the leadership skills of a young child. Alexandra followed along behind him with the mental reminder that, just because he was her starter, didn’t necessarily mean that he had to be the most mature. The brunette pushed her glasses further up the bridge of her nose and brushed the corner of her dress out. If she wanted to make it to Cyllage-- which she was, no doubt about it-- she’d have to make the trip in one go, which meant no stops or getting sidetracked; of course the latter was directed more to Caldo, her poor starter was bound to get distracted by something-- or everything.
“Caldo.” the primate-like pokemon took another step before spinning around in one fluid motion, catching himself and quickly readjusting so as to begin walking backwards. “Mon?” with his head tilted up he addressed his trainer with his trademark grin. “Do you know exactly where we’re going?” he shook his head back and forth, grin still apparent. “Perhaps you should slow down then, you wouldn’t want to get us lost.” Caldo faltered in his progress, giving Alexandra the chance to catch up and then take the lead. “We mustn’t dawdle.” she reminded him simply and made a backwards hand motion for him to follow. Caldo did as he was instructed, picking up the pace and clasping onto her hand when he caught up.

Docking the ship off shore, far south from Petalburg, Eon quickly made her way to town. She was on a mission to heal up her team, then it was quickly to the north to hopefully get ahead of Team Aqua. She didn't doubt they had more then one ship, and were likely already waiting for another ship to pick them up. The archeologist did her best to push through the crowds of people as fast as she could, but by the time she was entering the Pokemon Center, she was out of breath. Saga helped her cross the center and Luffy handled the talking while Eon pulled out everyone's Pokeballs. Saga joined the others in getting healed, while Eon sat down on a couch to recapture her breath. 'That was exciting!' Luffy stated an eagerness in his eyes. "Exciting isn't the word I'd choose." Eon replied. "More like terrifying."
After nearly half an hour, Nurse Joy returned with Eon's team. Gathering her companions, she started to head towards the Cafeteria, they'd get something to eat and discuss about that last battle. The blonde haired male, who'd attacked them. "I'm sorry everyone..." Eon began, running a hand along Hollr's lilypad. Her companions all looked at each other, then to Luffy. None of them blamed Eon outright, it wasn't to be helped... that man wasn't going to let her just walk away, even still... It was partially her fault that Nori was killed.

Grabbing some food for everyone, the group sat in the cafeteria in relative silence. No one knew what to say really. Of course the tension was getting to everyone, which was why Eon nearly jumped out of her seat when Luffy crossed from one side of the booth to the other, brushing the back of her head. "Ah! Luffy, don't do that!" She shouted, sinking into her seat when she noticed people staring at her. 'Sorry...' He quickly replied, hopping down next to her. 'I really wish I had been quicker.' The feline quickly added. Eon glanced down, finding Luffy staring at his paw, clenching it tightly. "You don't need to apologize, Luffy." Eon replied, reaching across the table to stick her fork into a bit of her food. It'd remained untouched the entire time she'd sat down. By now it was cold, and likely not very good. She wasn't entirely hungry anymore, so she decided to get a box. "I suppose we should move on. I've got a date with Mr. Stone." Eon managed a meek smile. Luffy glanced up, his eyes wide, showing no real emotion, but he was concerned for Eon. He didn't like seeing humans sad... he didn't like seeing anyone sad.

Packing up her food, Eon returned the majority of her team. Naga and Luffy were left to follow along side her. Upon reaching the ship, they found it surrounded by men in red suits this time. The symbol on their back made Luffy grit his teeth, the same aura from before seem to kick up, blowing about Eon's hair. she held up her hands to keep it from getting to messed up. "Luffy, who are they?" Eon asked in a whisper. The feline calmed some when he looked back at Eon. 'Team Magma. They have dark-types, we'll have to abandon that ship.' Eon was particularly happy about having taken it in the first place, so leaving it behind wasn't to bad in her mind. "Alright, let's head north for the Petalburg woods." Sneaking through past the men in red, they managed to get past Briney's house without being noticed. It was smooth sailing from there, the woods would hide them well. Eon wondered though.. Were they after her, or just interested in that rival ship?

Veronica walked along the path towards Petelburg City. There didn't seem to be many trainers around. At least, none that she could see or hear. Looking up, she saw more Wingull. This time, they were flying west, in the direction she was headed. She knew the ocean met the route after Petelburg, so they were probably headed there. Suddenly, there was a rustling behind her. Veronica turned around to see what it was, but didn't see anything. Shrugging it off, she continued on her way. Then, she heard it again. Hmm... Was she being followed? Torchic jumped down and ran into the bushes, going to investigate. "Hey, Torchic! Wait up!" Following her partner, Veronica found what was making the sounds. It was a Ralts!

Veronica walked over to the ball and picked it up. Today was just getting better and better. Her first battle was a success, and now her first capture attempt was a success. This journey was going to be awesome, as long as it kept on like it had been. "Well, I guess we found our next team member, huh Torchic?" she asked with a grin. Torchic nodded, chirping happily. Ronna picked Torchic up and continued down the route. She needed to get to Petelburg as soon as possible so she could heal Ralts. After that, she would head to her parents' house.

Upon entering town, Veronica headed straight for the Pokemon Center. She needed to get her new Pokemon healed up and ready to go, especially if her parents wanted to see her team. Her younger brother would probably fawn over her Pokemon. He had always liked them when they were on the television, but she wasn't sure if he had ever had the chance to see one up close. Walking into the Pokemon Center, Veronica handed the nurse her Pokeball containing her Ralts as well as her Torchic. It didn't take long for them to be fully healed, the nurse bidding them farewell as Ronna and her team set out for her parent's home.

As Veronica made her way towards her parents house, something crawled out of the bushes. It was wriggling right at her, looking up with wide adorable eyes. It was a Wurmple! Typically, Veronica wasn't fond of the creepy crawly bug type Pokemon, but this one was pretty cute for some reason. She decided to try and catch it. "Torchic, let's get it!"

As her Pokeball clicked, Veronica picked it up and glanced it over. She never thought she would want to capture a Wurmple of all creatures. Bugs were never her favorite, but that one had been acting so cutely. She couldn't miss an opportunity to add another adorable member to her team. Turning around and heading back to the Pokemon Center, Ronna quickly healed her new team member and continued on her way to her parent's house. It was located near the small lake in the southwest corner of the city, nestled next to the forest and surrounded by flowering trees. As she approached her childhood home, Veronica could feel the nerves begin to build up. She didn't have anything to worry about, they had agreed to let her venture off on her own and they couldn't go back on their word now. Plus, she had her own team to take care of now. She couldn't abandon them. With a nervous sigh, she knocked on the door.

After knocking, it didn't take long for the door to open. Veronica's mother stood in the doorway, and when she saw her daughter, she smiled. "Welcome home, Veronica. Please, come in," she said, moving to allow the girl to enter the home. Ronna walked inside, clutching Torchic to her chest. Her father was sitting in the living room, reading as per the usual. When he saw Veronica, he put down his book to stand and greet his daughter. "How was your trip to Littleroot? I see you chose Torchic as your starter Pokemon. A very nice choice." he said as Veronica's mother went to fetch her brothers. "My trip wasn't too bad. Luckily I didn't run into many Pokemon on my way there. Professor Birch is a nice man, he even gave me some Potions and Pokeballs for my journey, and I caught two more Pokemon to bring with me on my adventure." Veronica set Torchic on the floor, who then began to wander around to investigate the strange new scenery. She took her other two Pokeballs from her bag and sent out her Ralts and Wurmple, the former cowering behind Ronna and the later looking up at Ronna's father with wide eyes and blushing cheeks.

Teito had Shroomish treated before leaving the building. He didn't know what to call the Pokémon. They evolved into a dinosaur thing, didn't they? As he walked through the city in thought, Akira and Shiki following him dutifully, Teito stopped when he heard someone crying. Looking over, he saw a couple of older boys, probably a year or two younger than Teito himself, picking on a little girl. From what he heard, it was because she liked Fairy-types, and it was apparently so girly it was....Well, the guy talked in a slur, but did he say pathetic? Eyes darkened, Teito walked over and stood in front of the little girl, hands in his pockets. "Hm? What the hell do you want? You her big brother or something?""From the way you're teasing this girl, I can tell you two are pretty pathetic yourselves, not to mention sexist. Let me ask you something.
