Who is Wishing?: Kawani persona, Lolayla, who lost her twin sister a few months ago.
Tell the wishing star a little about yourself: Lolayla was a always energetic and liked being outside up until a few months ago. A few months ago, her twin sister Laloyla got sick and passed away soon after. Ever since then, she's been depressed and taken to sleeping during the days and being awake at night. She misses her twin and wishes for someone else to keep her company.

It has carved wooden stars on it with a carved wooden crescent moon in the middle on a simple thin piece of leather. It's one of the few things her sister had made and is therefore one of the most precious things to her.

Since then, they have been blessed by the Tiki Wishing Star, though they have yet to have biological children of their own through natural means. We plan to lifemate them after their first natural-born kids are foals. xd
Orea smiled up at the star, so similar and yet so different from the one she had wished upon so long ago.
The daughter of their hearts, their beloved Εἰλείθυια, had pitter-pattered with her tiny cloven hooves until they had grown to the careful stride of a young mare... and then those adorable hooves had carried her away from them, and her soulmate had grown a little... weary... watching her go. Ean had always had a soft spot for little cloven hooves, and he adored their little girl, but he understood that she had not stayed little forever and her adventurous and bright spirit would some day take her away from them... even if she had promised to visit.
Orea gazed upwards, her smile turning secretive. She had come here alone once more; she had made the last wish alone, why not continue the tradition? And yet, this time, she had begged a trinket of Ean, and he had willingly given it to her with a little curious glint in his eye. He would give her anything, without asking why, and yet... he had still seemed to wonder what she was up to.

Nikkichomp I have a familiar that was gifted to me a while ago [July 4th, to be exact] but is not certed (Tani was the colorist). Can I still enter her for the loyal companion slot, or does she have to be certed for that to happen? Of course you can! You can even enter with a made-up Kawani native, even if you don't own a familiar/Soquili you can still enter :3 A lack of cert is completely fine~

The intricate red knot on his tail, along with the strands of bells Short IC Response: The male looked into the sky, his eyes focusing on a particularly bright star. He had seen this star in the past, heard the story of its wishing powers. Tonight Ryuichi was feeling particularly sorrowed, thinking of his children and missing what once was. Sure, he and Zelia had adopted foals along the way. They were loved equally but they could not fill the void of his biological children.
Many moons ago he and his mate, Zelia, had two foals. It was around this time of year. The couple were excited, overjoyed at the thought of being parents. The baskets came though, with a wicked surprise. Ryuichi could never deide if it was a blessing..or a curse.
His daughter, Marnie, was the first to wander away. She was so young. Zelia was distraught, as she feared she had lost the child and it was her fault. Ryuichi tried to reassure her, but the a heartbroken mother cannot be consoled easily. They hunted for the filly, while trying to balance a normal family life. They would not find her until adulthood.
Their son, Nekomata, often wandered off as well as a foal. He was far from 'normal', often caught talking to inanimate objects - such as trees or rocks. He had a craving for meat, a far deeper one then his fathers taste for mice. Ryuichi doubted that he would kill another soquili, but the way the colt thought, he would not know. One day Nekomata wandered off, and did not reappear until adult hood.
The stallion stared at the star, torn in two pieces. Should he wish for more children, and risk that the dark autumn night bring something other then a normal child? Ryuichi argued with himself before settling on an answer. Yes, he would wish for another child. Despite Marnie and Nekomatas short-comings, they were still loved. No matter how far they wandered, they would always have a home in their parents hearts.
" Dear star, me and my love miss the falls of tiny hooves. We never got a real chance to raise a child of our own. Both our children disappeared very young. They are found now, but are adults. Have their own lives and ways. There is so much we missed, Star. Please. Allow us another chance to raise a child. Experience all things we missed." With that, Ryuichi bowed his head before reaching back to his tail and removing the red intricate knot that was there. The bells on the ends jingled softly in the quiet night. A bundled collection of herbs and small bones in a small leather pouch. Short IC Response: It was rare the swamp matriarch left her territory anymore, after all she had children and grand-children willing to go out and take care of things for her. Guedes was more than glad to remain deep within the confines of the swamp and handle anyone that came her way seeking a 'miracle'. However, the last few nights she had heard the whispering of the spirits on the wind as they spoke of another that was granting wishes, one of their own. She could not deny her intrigue regarding the news. Another spirit? One she had no prior communication with and knew nothing about, but it was granting wishes... Leaving her eldest in charge, Guedes gathered up some herbs and a few of her favorite small bones in a pouch and set off outside the boundaries of the swamp. She followed the whisperings on the wind until she could the see the clear night sky with a large bright star in it. A star she had never seen before during her times of travel. A star that the voices were now drawing her towards, seemingly with purpose. "You be da spirit dey lead me to? Da one dey be claimin' grantin' wishes?" She asked, narrowing her eyes slightly at the star. She was quite suspicious of a glowing mass having such ability, especially with no prior spirits having a physical appearance. "If dis be true, provide me another child. Anodder daughter to help lead, or anodder son who cannot fail me. Take dis as an offerin' and prove yerself to me." She called out before setting down the leather pouch and retreating back into the swamp. What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? The purple flower attached to his halter, the one piece of kindness and affection that his heartbreaker ever showed to him.
Short IC Response: The showy rainbow stallion stood at the top of a small hill, staring vacantly into the night sky. He had had his heart broken well and truly before coming to these lands and now he felt hollowed out. So very like the trees waving in the breeze. The trees were stripped down to nothing and had nothing to look forward to through a long cold winter. At least they had Spring to look forward to.
Bright closed his eyes and took a deep breath, wishing he could get over her, the one who had taken his heart then laughed when she realized she had it. He wished for peace, for a purpose to fill his time.
A sweet friend of his had told him to come here tonight; she had perhaps seen his unrest? Bright mulled over the secret smile he had seen in her eyes and shrugged it away, figuring he was just a bit more suspicious than usual anymore.
Eyes still closed, taking that deep breath once again he wished, yet again, to have a purpose to fill. After placing his deepest wish, Bright opened his eyes and shook his head sharply, feeling like a foal wishing for things he had no business to wish for. His flower, THE flower, came loose and fluttered to the ground. Cursing himself for a fool, Bright turned and left it… heading for another sleepless night.

It was a nice place to be, but it seemed odd to her that she's looking for more. Maybe it was because she felt, for the most part, complete with her sisters. She had no desire for children and her parents were... Long gone. It would be nice just to have someone to talk to and spend time with that wasn't looking to please her all the time. 10 Things I Like: - Complimenting Familiars, not necessarily 'matching' - Pastel colors - White and pastel rainbow - Newly templated stuff - Parrots/Macaw XD - Feathered familiars (mutant pea-condor!) - Jewelry! Isenath swims to the shore, looking around suspiciously before placing her offering on a rock. It was a flying fish, one that she'd caught mid-air, both of them breaching in the finale of what had been a daring chase. She had chosen a flying fish for its wings, to carry her words to the stars above. Not seeing any meddling land dwellers around, she whispered her words to the sky above.
"Star, send us a child. Send us one to live in the briny depths with us, to eat the sweet flesh of fish and to help keep the land dwellers afraid of the water." They were ready. She and Quinta had swam together for so long, but now Isenath craved the company of another, a little one that they could raise to hate the dry land and those that walked upon it. Quinta was far gentler than herself, but Isenath thought she spoke for them both when she addressed the star.
"Send us one to join us in dark waters, and I swear I'll feed them upon blubber and the soft flesh of sea urchins." Isenath gave the stars one last look before diving underneath the waves once more, leaving hardly a ripple to show her passing.
