"Ohgawd, you're a Peyton too." Kiki snarled, flipping Heidi off as she walked past. Acting all high and mighty, like dealing with Kiki was just routine garbage disposal. Acting so nonchalant about it just pissed her off even more.

"Don't pretend to be so passive. Pacifism is a crock of s**t." She growled after she'd walked away, still searching for a perch to sit upon and gaze over the masses.

"Only if its with you. I wouldn't want you getting jealous now if I had one on one lessons with other ladies." Thankfully he couldn't feel her pokes through his chest armor. She really did like poking him. And jabbing him with her elbows. Perhaps it was like that old school yard saying, if someone likes you they tend to beat up on you a bit because they don't know how to express it any other way.

He tilted his head side to side, stretching out his neck. There were a lot of noisy people showing up, obviously some weren't content until they had riled others up a bit. "A couple." Zascha shrugged again. The fact that others had gravitated into their own little groups honestly didn't bother him. But he frowned light at her sigh, he wished he could help in some way but the only way she'd make friends is if she put herself out there.

"Well that's what happens when you're around for a long time." They were still newish and hadn't had much time for bond forming with a lot of the others at Deus. Zascha didn't mind though. Things were forged better over time.

The man was given a slow, lazy smile when she noticed him watching her. Sasha made a point to slip close, her fingers trailing along his back as she passed by.

Heidi turned a smug grin up at her boyfriend. "Bow, pale skin, blonde hair. I'm practically an elf. Gotta walk silently." He leaned down and she released him to stand at Tuck's side, hopping up on her tiptoes to kiss his cheek and then reaching for his hand. "Who're your friends~?"

"Never met Evan in my life," she replied before nodding to everyone with a bright smile and a wave. "Nice to meet you guys! I didn't know Stormy had a cousin.." There was a brief pause. So many relatives..

She really hoped she didn't find any of hers on the island.

Clearing her throat, Heidi shook her head and then looked up at Tuck with surprise. "Distracted? ..Oh gosh! I interrupted something! I am so sorry!"

Shiloh didn’t mind the melting. In fact, he encouraged it, as he slipped his arm around Ian’s waist. “You could have had breakfast, but nooo, five more minutes.”

He grinned, giving Ian a playful elbow. Maebe didn’t seem particular enthused to see him and he made a face in her direction, a face that was neither mature or pretty. He knew something had to be up, with the way she ducked behind her friend, but for the moment he didn’t press it, deciding to be nice to her. That and the fact that while he had managed to get breakfast, it didn’t change the fact that it was still far too early, and that he could have used five more minutes of sleep himself.

In his grogginess he almost missed America, catching her wave at the last moment. He pushed a smile onto his face, one that was big and warm and that he hoped could say all the things he couldn’t yell across the path. He’d gotten her package and he’d meant to talk to her, meant to find her. But it was easy to be busy it seemed these days, to make excuses. Their crowd obviously didn't run in the same circles and not that he held anything against her, or them, but he was hesitant of the company she kept, if only because he didn’t know them well enough, because the few times they had met, they’d always seemed to butt heads.

But America was kind, and funny, and she’d put a smile on his face. And if what she’d found out was true, well, he wasn’t disappointed by it. He’d only ever really known his immediate family and even though family was something he craved, he’d never really found solace in his own. Maybe she’d be the one to change that… If.

If only. No matter what they’d find out later, he smiled now, and waved back, and made a mental note to bother her after the mission. He tried to mouth that sentiment to her, motioning from him to her with a grin.

Then he was turning back to Ian and Quinn and the group.

“Yeah, that’s for sure,” he agreed. “I hope, well, I hope its nowhere sandy this time. It can't get much worse, can it?”

Evan heaved a sigh at Nora's lack of sympathy. "Just can't win," he lamented, shaking his head. Fortunately, Heidi made herself known. She had always been nice to him, at least. "Good to see you back, Heidi," he said, giving her a warm smile. "And just in time, too--think your boyfriend forgot what your best assets looked like, if you know what I mean." Yeah, he'd seen Tuck staring at Cee's a**. He couldn't blame him; it was worth staring at.

"I don't blame her girl!" Cee laughed to Nora and now gave her a playfully light slap, "Oh lemme git one.." She wouldn't pass up a free snack. With her newfound profession and weapon bolstering her, she'd given up the days of diets and food trends.

Cee's brows rose in only a momentary surprise when a girl hurtled into Tuck and kissed him. Her smile settled in again, amused, and she nodded to Heidi when introduced, "Wassup girl?"

Tuck got a look from her when Heidi glanced momentarily away. She simply winked and smiled if he met her eyes, nothing more.

"Where'd you go?" Cee piped up to Heidi after a moment. "Erryone seems ta go off to other bases. I ain't seen another yet."
