The week had passed by, and Raygnar had to leave to go back to the demon world. He talked to his brother every night he could to know that now Abira and Diaval...are now kind of the forbidden couple. He told them to make sure it is hidden though since any relation like that is forbidden, nuff said. The kids already like him a lot and some call him Dad which made him bad. He could already feel the kids are crying for his departure and hug his leg, not wanting him to go. He felt bad but he knew he had to go. Some of the older kids pulled back the younger ones to let him go.

Blanca was the last one to say goodbye and he felt even terrible to see she was sort of crying. "I can always visit you.....I'm never far away." He then whispered on her ear: "Besides, you got the necklace, it connects to my home to you can always visit as well. With my duty, it might be hard to come in but I'll try." He hugged her tightly as he remembered the times they shared. "I'll definitely try...." He then let her go before waving slightly before walking away. He climbed up the rocks and into the stairs to get to the entrance. He looked out to see nobody was around so he exited and closed the rock before he used the necklace to get back home.

When he got to the entrance suddenly he was met by one of the soldiers: "AH! Sir?! You're ok!" "I'm sorry...I took an unannounced vacation." He then went back inside his house as he then took a nod at the soldier. "Tell them I will return tomorrow." He then made sure the guy left before he entered the house. "I'm home!"

Abira came down the steps, adjusting her clothes as if she was putting them on in a hurry before she greeted Ray: "So happy you are home." "I am home....thanks for keeping the place kept. How has been your guy's.....life?" Abira blushed deeply and turned away slightly as she brushed some hair behind her ears: "Me and Diaval had enjoyed the celebration...we heard news that the angel counsel is trying to meet the demands of the people............but."

"I know....he got a heart attack.......I'm sorry Abira."

She nodded: "It's ok, he deserves to rest in peace with my.....'mother'. I think it is best for them to fix themselves." "I agree....Blanca is taking care of the kids right now. And maybe she might help the kids get adopted....."

*timeskip*

Whenever Ray could, he came to visit the kids...and the kids were always happy for him to come. It seemed like Blanca and David had it handled. And it was a great relief to know they will be alright. But one visit would make things very bad. He left Abira with Diaval again, this time he noticed the forbidden couple has gotten to be closer than before. "Don't destroy the house while I'm gone." He then went through the portal to go back to the abandoned base.

But once he arrived, it seemed too quiet......way too quiet. "Blanca?......Blanca?!.....David?!" He called out to try to find them but he felt that something was wrong.

Ray could feel his head hurting even more, and making him feel horrible....and shocked to hear the kids crying to him.....they didn't care that he was a demon....they....THEY DIDN'T CARE! "This is a demon! You kids need to grow up and face reality!" One angel was going to clock his head again until Blanca pushed him out of the way and screamed for them to stay away from him. She was in front of him and everything.....Bla-....Blanca.......you need t- *haaaack*" He coughed up more blood as the angel grew even more mad: "Are you kidding me?! You're defending an angel! Are you really going to betray our people for this......this thing?!"

But it seemed Blanca was not moving, giving a stern face as if not planning on leaving. "You might as well die along with him." That made Ray want to scream to stop then suddenly something clashed...between Blanca and the demon. It was a female figure with blue hair....blue eyes, and a blue costume. Once might describe as a royal outfit (imagine the outfit being dark-blue and also a crescent of the sun) as the girl with wrist knives made the angel go back. "Is THIS what I have been fighting for?! For FOOLS WHO SPILL BLOOD FOR THEIR OWN PLEASURE?!" Ray was almost shocked, she didn't seem to be this yelly before...well she was a few times which made Diaval....wait a minute. "I....If you're here....then Diaval..." The only person who could use it was Diaval...but how?

"No time for questions, and no Diaval does not know I am here....he might soon though since I was technically here to bring you lunch. I may no longer have angel wings, but I still have the power of royal blood." Abira then took note of the angel man that had stood up again: "T-This has to be a lie....the princess was supposed to be dead!" He seemed to have lost all sense which made Abira do an X block on him and shove him off. "You owe me an explanation after this!" He coughed up more blood again as Abira held him down, then hearing the other angels who had the kids and David go outside see this. "H-HEY!" That had Abira hold her hand out and water started sprouting out making the men hit the wall. As soon as the water touched the wall, the water froze making them frozen and stuck in the wall. "That must be all...the kids should be coming soon then........and why are they calling you Daddy?"

"Don't push it!" He hacked again as he sat up and rubbed his face out of blood. The only source of blood anyways....he was just beated up was all, with blood only seeping from he mouth.

"I got that handled...." She then grabbed the angel and had her wrist knife by his throat as she dragged him with her to outside. She passed by a few kids and had nodded at them: "Your....uhhh....daddy needs help." She left with the angel by her whim, going to give them a peace of her mind.

Raygnar then tched: "Am......Am I fool?" He then coughed again as he felt her hug. "Aaaaaaw, you are such a sweetheart." He chuckles a little bit as he then proceeded to stand up on his own. "You might have to be my support, I can barely stand." He had an arm on her shoulder as his demon wings were still up, having to walk outside to get out of there. He had no idea how the orphans were going to react....especially David whom probably not like the idea of a demon's presence. His eyes were a bit watery, showing that he could barely see at this point.

"I rather not have the kids see me like this, especially since I am a demon.....they probably think of me as a monster now......" He felt his feet slowly walk out as he tried to contain himself, but he was losing consciousness.

Ray took a breath as it seemed the kids were not scared of him, more like concerned about them both. "Please......we need to exit." He then had Blanca take him outside with kids following them, David felt kind of betrayed...not saying a word. "Why didn't you tell me sis......that he was a demon? He seemed a bit angry but did not show much resent.

Once getting out, it seemed like Abira was handling the situation. "And therefore, you should leave them alone and have me explain the situation." It seemed like most of the angels were sort of shocked to see a girl who resembled the princess having one angel held up by a wrist knife. Raygnar coughed slightly as the angel's seem to be unsure about this. "But that means you need to leave them alone! It's your fault that you burned the orphanage. So now they have to depend on that place to live....." She then pushed the angel back to them who was getting angry. "Pathetic excuse of a general!" She shouted as she crossed her arms. Then a red light emitted in front as Abira figured it was Diaval, figuring out what was going on. "No cause of alarm, it would be the general's brother."

Raygnar then fainted in the middle which made him fall off of Blanca and to the ground. Some of the kids screamed in terror as they had just thought he had died so some of the kids crowded around him trying to see if he was ok. Raygnar spurt out more blood as some of the angels had no choice. "Get the medic....and bring the princess to the castle." While some got the kids out of the way to tend to Ray, some of the angels processed to escort Abira to the castle.

It was probably a few hours that had passed again.....for the first time, a demon would be tended in one of the angel hospitals, suffering severe trauma at the head. He was showing dizziness and even not much memory of what had happened. He didn't even remember going to the place, getting beat up by angels, and being exposed as a demon. He was in one of the hospital beds with tubes around him trying to get him into good conditions.

Some of the angel nurses were disgusted, but at the same time in awe as the demon had beautiful white hair and golden eyes. They couldn't express the disgust though since the kids there kept calling him Daddy...which made them petrified.

Raygnar had not officially woken up until a few days later when he was cleared to walk out. He sat up and rubbed his head as he felt someone sitting beside him. "You ok?"

"Nothing I can't handle...." He then took a deep breath as he then stared at her: "So.......what happened?"

"The only thing I could do was lecture them, I cannot do anything since the 'king' has been decided...I am officially dead to them...so they were scared of meeting me as a ghost, but soon saw I am alive and well. I told them on what happened; my fall and also what happened down at the hidden village. They were planning to build another safehouse...but I guess the kids really love the place you gave them, so they said no and make that the official safehouse. I have to return to the house since Diaval has been worried, he is not allowed in these grounds."

Raygnar nodded as he then wondered: "What the hell happened then? My mind's blurry."

"I guess it makes sense since you suffered some head trauma. You came into an ambush of angels that had gotten suspicion of angels in a hidden demon fortress. So they came in and attacked...the kids were horrified and didn't seem to care what origin you were, you were the one that kind of raised them. In fact, take a look." She pointed to the back where there was baskets and baskets of stuff....that looked like a handiwork of kids. "Maybe I should be a supervisor of a daycare." He laughed but then had to stop since his stomach hurted. "Far as I know, the one that beated you up was a general of the angel army, not a good mix when meeting the demon general.....oh and it seems like David and Blanca are doing ok..."

"Are they?"

"Yes, David was a bit pissed at first since he was told to believe all demons are evil, but after a good day of thinking about it, he realizes you're not what they say so he is leaving it alone...but he wants to warn you that he's keeping his eye on you." Raygnar chuckled and winked a bit. "Am I allowed visiting hours?"

"They just started. Anyway I need to leave to tend to the house, get well sir." She touched his forehead before getting out and closing the door. She knew Diaval would be worried so she used the necklace to vanish to get back to the Danta residence.

Abira had her hand on his, gently squeezing it as he expressed his concern: "No, nothing bad happened. There is nothing to be of too much concern. Ray was diagnosed as he has severe head trauma. He kind of doesn't know how he ended up in the hospital. They told me he should be back home within tomorrow." She then sighed: "Everything will be alright, it seems like now the angels are very focused on fixing themselves right now. Anyway you want me to fix you some lunch?" She felt bad since Diaval had to take over Ray's duty due to the general's extensive care that was needed to have him walk away.

Ray took a breath: "You always keep apologizing, there was nothing that coud've been done to prevent them from knowing. I think it was me, because since I kept going back and forth, they were prone to find out something was wrong." He then sat up, feeling the tubes that were sealed on his skin. "Seems like everyone is doing fine, I should be good to leave tomorrow....although now getting back home might be bad.....hell, I'm in the angel world...they might think of me as traitor." He then wondered if Diaval was ok.......

"Knowing the king, he'll have my head. But anyway, how're you, David, and the kids doing?"
