Lily Lily took a deep breath and nodded. "I just get a bit angry when someone threatens people I care about," she said. "My list of those people is so short already. I don't want to lose anyone else." When she heard the knock on her door, she turned toward the guard who entered. When he mentioned that someone had a bounty for her, the lights around her went back to the normal intensity. There was only one bounty that she had told them to disturb her for. "Can you handle taking Dev to the lab while I go see if this is worth looking into?"

Nalyne gave her a nod and a kiss, "Of course I will. And if it's Ilea, pay whatever you need to then bring her to the lab with you," he said softly, his way of reminding her that his funds also belonged to her.
He gave her another kiss because he could never resist her then pulled away to collect the still-sleeping tiger and easily carried him from the room.
Lily "I'll pay whatever it costs to get her back," Lily stated. "And I'll make sure to keep calm and be polite." She returned the kiss, wanting nothing more than to go back to bed. But she knew that there was work to do. She watched him carry Dev out and then left the room to meet the one claiming the bounty. [Exit]

Nalyne escorted Lily back to the rooms they shared then proceeded to wear her out enough to get her to rest for a few hours. While she was asleep, he arranged for refreshments to show up during their meeting with Allistair, planning on the possibility of Dev being able to walk as well. He also arranged for a surprise for Lily later on.
As he was working on all of that, a guard reported that Lily had a visitor that had requested to see Ren and Gin first. He considered that for a moment then ordered that the visitor be brought in at the end of the meeting with Allistair. Once the guard was gone, he woke Lily up with a kiss...
Lily Lily slept peacefully for several hours. It was obvious that she had needed sleep, since worrying about Dev had been keeping her up lately. She stirred at Nalyne's kiss and gave a soft whine of complaint, wanting more sleep. She blinked as she woke up more and returned the kiss. When the kiss ended, she rested her head against his chest. "I feel like that's the first time I've really gotten some rest in a while," she said. "I guess I need to get up and get cleaned up before Allistair comes by. Would you like to join me for a bath before he gets here?"

Nalyne held her for a moment, unable to resist getting his hands on her at every available moment he could. But then she made that suggestion and he gave a deep chuckle, "If I join you in the tub, we won't get to see Allistair and Dev at all. You know how much seeing you naked and wet distracts me," he countered, knowing that holding her right now was pushing his limits.
"I made sure that you got at least some of the sleep you needed but you really do need to get up for this at the very least. We both know that you'll want to that Dev really is alright and happy before you can rest fully," he added before forcing himself to help her out of the bed.
He gave her very tempting a** a light tap, "Go get cleaned up and dressed, Woman. Before I forget my good intentions and make sure that you can't leave the bed for a week. I still have the cuffs I used on Dev," he finished with a teasing grin then left the bedroom and made sure that the floor cushions were properly placed for the tiger and the refreshments were set up.
Lily Lily giggled a bit at Nalyne's response and placed a kiss on his cheek. "I know that it distracts you," she said. "That's kind of the point of me asking." She sighed a bit, knowing that he was right. "If it wasn't about Dev, I'd probably drag you into the bath with me and have my wicked way with you." She allowed him to help her out of bed and giggled again at the tap to her a**. "You better make sure to use those cuffs on me and hold me in bed for a week after we get everything taken care of." She moved to the bathroom and filled the tub. She stepped in and began to soak for a while, needing to relax a bit before she met with Allistair and Dev.
Allistair Allistair allowed Dev to lead him to the room and chuckled when Dev moved behind him to stare at his a**. "Get your mind on the matter at hand, Dev," he said. "You'll have plenty of time to stare later. Trust me, I plan to let you have a very long look later." He pulled Dev closer and then knocked on the door. He waited for someone to answer the door with a bored and impatient expression.

Nalyne moved to answer the door before Dev could say anything and motioned them inside, "Take a seat. Lily will be out in a bit," he said as he closed the door, "If either of you is hungry, I had some food sent over. Not really sure what they sent but it should be good," he added as he took one of the plush chairs, leaving Allistair to sit where he pleased.
He wasn't too shocked that Dev moved over to table and filled a plate before sitting on one of the thick cushions at Allistair's feet with his shoulder resting against his master's thigh as he ate.
Nalyne gave small smile he looked Dev over again, "He looks better already, Allistair. Lily will be relieved to see the change in him. I did my best with but I knew he needed more than I could give him," he paused there and turned his eyes to Allistair.
"I'm Nalyne, by the way. Lily's lover and advisor. You met Ilea earlier. She's Esabel's sister. Both of them are my nieces, after a fashion," he introduced himself, not bothering to hide anything about himself since Allistair would need the information. He was one of Lily's generals, after all. And Ilea's powers would eventually come up in conversation since she'd brought Allistair back.
Dev simply worked on clearing his plate, suddenly finding that he was ravenous. Of course, Lily and Nalyne had been forced to make him eat over the last two years, so it probably shouldn't have been a surprise to him. He'd need a full meal later, but the snacks would hold him over until then.
Lily Lily finally got out of the tub, feeling better than she had in a while. She took a towel and dried off before moving to her bedroom to get dressed. She made sure that she looked good and then left the bedroom to join the others. She took in their appearances and smiled when she saw how much better Dev looked. She sat next to Nalyne and looked the guests over again. "You're both looking great," she said. "Dev, you look better than you have in two years. Looks like we made a goid decision to bring Allistair back. And Allistair, you look great, as well." She scooted a bit closer to Nalyne. "You both look like you enjoyed the private time you had before you came to see us."
Allistair Allistair sat across from Nalyne without getting anything to eat. When Dev sat at his feet, he smirked and took something from Dev's plate and then scratched his head a bit. "It is good to meet you, Nalyne," he said. "And it's also good to know that Lily was able to find a lover like you. I have faith in her ability to lead the Re. She's Ren and Gin's adopted daughter, so I know she's capable. But having to do it alone probably would have taken a toll on her. Even if you are merely an advisor, she needs someone with her to support and love her like you obviously do." He looked over to Lily when she entered the room. "I suppose I should thank you both for helping to bring me back. You gave me another chance to be with Dev and give him the attention he deserves."

Nalyne pulled Lily into his lap and pressed a kiss to her neck, "I do my best to take care of her," he told Allistair simply then focused on Lily, "I had food sent in, if you're hungry, Love," he said softly to her, knowing full well that she had to have a very good appetite by now.
Dev didn't make an issue of Allistair eating from his plate, simply finished what he had and considered getting more. He did go back to the food on offer and collected a few pieces, but he passed the plate to Lily when he got back. As he settled back at Allistair's feet, he gave a soft chuckle.
"He did work me over very nicely, I'll admit, and claimed me again. I'm really glad to have him back," he said while rubbing his cheek against Allistair's thigh before looking at his hands in his lap, "I'm sorry I was such a pain over the last two years. But I'm really glad you didn't kill me," he added in a soft whisper, leaning into Allistair's leg a little more.
He couldn't help needing the physical contact with Allistair, his cats craving the touch of the one that had tamed them, the one he'd fallen in love with.
But, before more could be said, a guard knocked on the door. Nalyne lifted Lily from his lap, put her in his chair, then answered the door. He came back with a soft sigh, "We have a visitor that's now insisting on seeing you, Princess.. He'd originally asked for your parents and said he still wanted to talk to you. Now he says it's about his son but won't say who the son is. I'll have him come in now so we can enjoy the visit with Allistair and Dev once he's gone. It will give us the time to wait for a full meal to be delivered for Dev since his appetite has come back," he said with a shrug of one shoulder, "I sent the guard to get him and the meal," he added, knowing that the tiger had to be starving by now.
While the visitor was an annoyance, it probably wouldn't take long to take care of whatever he wanted...
Lily "You do a great job of taking care of me, Love," Lily said with a grin. She considered getting food but was surprised when Dev passed her a plate. "It's great that he managed to help you like that. And there's no need to apologize for your behavior. You can't really help the way you're wired." She gave a noise of complaint as Nalyne lifted her from his lap. She frowned a bit when he came back and mentioned a visitor. "Bring him in, then."
Allistair Allistair grinned when Dev mentioned working him over and claiming him again. "I did, and I'll be doing so again," he said. "And I'm glad to be back. I love my kitten and am glad that I was able to save him. There's no one else who is able to calm Dev like I can. And there's no one else to accept his love and love him in return the way I do."

Nalyne gave a simple nod and went to open the door when the guard knocked again, escorting the guest into the sitting area. He sat on the arm of Lilly's chair and was about to ask what the mans business was what he heard a low growl that raised the hair on the back of his neck, making him turn a frown to Dev.
Dev was certainly growling at the visitor. He was also close to shifting as he glared at the man but said nothing.
The just gave Lilly a polite bow and smile, "I see that I won't have to go far to reclaim my son, Miss Lilly. Thank you for that. While I am sorry to hear of your parents passing, I must inform you that the deal I had with them is now void. I let them have Mephistopheles when Gin expressed an interest in using him for one of his experiments. Something to do with his shifting to multiple animals or something like that. Since Gin no longer needs him, I'll have to take him back home. There is still the matter of needing an heir out of him, you know," he explained in a cultured and elegant voice. He really didn't see his words as being insulting or demeaning, he simply spoke as if he was the head of the largest and most powerful clan of shapeshifters. Which he was.
Dev's growl went deeper as the man spoke but regained enough self-control to speak, "Nashirr..." the way he growled out the mans name was more than enough to say that he really didn't like him, "Master... Miss Lilly... Master Nalyne... Meet Nashirr... My father... And the one that sold me to the Re as a slave," he deliberately introduced Allistair simply as his master, knowing that it speak volumes to his master and his father. While he'd growled and glared the entire time, he'd still spoken respectfully to everyone except his father.
"His other sons must have killed each other off or he wouldn't be here for me. He made it very clear to me on the day we parted how much use he had for me, so he obviously needs to have me pretty desperately to come collecting me now," he added, his words pulling a snort of laughter from Nalyne.
Nashirr gave a nicely dramatic sigh, "I see he's forgotten all the manners I taught him... Oh well... He can be taught again," he said in a tone of disappointment, the words making it harder for Dev to keep from shifting. Only Allistair gripping at his chest halter kept him from moving...
"Oh but we couldn't part with Dev now, you see. He's already been claimed as a gift-prize by Allistair, there. And he isn't likely to part with him now. Besides, he's one of Lilly's favorites and we all love to spoil her so," Nalyne said in a lazy drawl guaranteed to give Lilly and Allistair a hint on how to handle the pompous a**.
After all, with their forces they had enough manpower, and pure power, to take the man's entire clan down without even breaking a sweat.
Then there was that little suggestion Dev had made earlier about seeing his father in Esabel's playroom...
Lily Lily listened to Nashirr speak, her eyes narrowing when he mentioned reclaiming Dev. "As Nalyne said, we're all quite attached to Dev," she said. "It's unlikely that we would be able to part with him. He's very special to us." She was keeping her calm, but she was focusing on gathering up a good amount of light to use against Nashirr if it came to that.
Allistair Allistair examined Nashirr and then chuckled. "I'm afraid that Mephistopheles won't be going anywhere," he stated. "You see, he belongs to me now. You sold him to the Re. You gave up your ownership. And then he was given to me. Even if his owner's death returned him to you, it's meaningless right now. I am his owner, and I'm very much alive. He wears my collar, which only I can remove. And I have no intention of doing so. So you'll have to leave here empty-handed."

Have a plan for later, but will need Dev alone for it at some point.

Nashirr gave a low growl at their collective refusal, still pointedly ignoring his son, "You'll regret this..." was all he said as he turned on his heel and left.
Dev worked at calming down once his father was gone but it wasn't easy for him. His cats all hated his father as much as he did, after all. He closed his eyes and rubbed his cheek against Allistair's thigh and inhaled his scent as he buried the anger deep inside, knowing that Allistair was planning on working him over later anyway.
Nalyne was the first to speak up, "Well that was unpleasant... My sympathies to you Dev for being related to that a*****e. While my parents aren't the best, they're a lovely spring day compared to him," he said in a sympathetic tone. While Lily knew exactly who and what Nalyne was, they'd only told Ilea about it so far. Esabel hadn't told the details but had started calling him Uncle Nalyne on her own, so they'd it at that. If Allistair wanted to know, Nalyne had no problem telling him.
Dev finally opened his eyes to give a wry twist of his lips, "Actually, we're not related at all. But I promised my mother that I'd never say anything to him. He'd likely kill her if he knew," he admitted then gave a soft sigh, "He never did like me, though. Life with him was... unpleasant," he added, deliberately understating things for now.
Truthfully, his life with his father had been worse than a nightmare. Living with the Re was paradise in comparison. One example was the while the Re had collared him gold and Allistair with bronze, his father had collared him with unlined silver. It was one reason that he had no problem wearing a collar; it covered the scarring on his neck that no one but Hal had ever seen.
Thankfully, he was saved from saying anything else by a slave pushing a cart into the room, leaving it beside the table before leaving them alone. The smells from the cart made his stomach growl loud enough that everyone heard it. But he stayed beside Allistair, still needing his masters touch to keep him calm.
Lily Lily gave Nashirr a sweet smile. "No, I don't believe that we will," she said, laughing a bit as he walked away. She looked over to Nalyne. "What business is there to take care of, Love? I can think of a few things, but what all is there to do?" She still looked a bit tired, but she was looking and feeling better than she had in a while. But she still seemed like she was a bit worried about something, most likely the fact that Esabel was gone.
Allistair Allistair scratched Dev's head as he tried to help him calm down. "Everything's fine, Dev," he said in a soothing voice. "He may be an insufferable a*****e, but his dislike of you drove him to give you to Gin and allowed me to find you. I know it doesn't excuse the fact that he was horrible to you, but you're out of his hands now. You belong to a Master who loves you. And I don't intend to ever let you end up back with him."
