So this is a strictly human-stique rp? Just wondering because I have a space pirate that would love to join the ranks but I gotta see where/what I have to do to make her mesh.

You may want to tweak a little to suite the roleplay context but if the shoe fits c: Both the Reserve and Profile skeletons are available on the 6th ( I think ) post of the IC page . Buuuut, um, so you can only be a wizard, pirate or sailor right? And the ships are in the sky right? I'm just a little confused about the theme and everything sweatdrop
No big deal, the word count is just there to make sure that people are routinely putting effort into their posts, but sometimes there isn't much to say. As long as you're putting forth a sincere effort, that's the important part!
Okay. I'm sure you've noticed I'm kinda wordy anyway... I just didn't want to feel like I was in school again having to count my words so I made sure I was at least over the minimum for a good grade... I think that would take the fun out of the role play.
I'll definently will be placing effort into any post I create. (Though I warn, I'm a little rusty on role playing still. Last couple of attempts at getting back into role playing has resulted in the role plays apparently stopping...)

How did you guess I draw in a slightly more anime art style? (Stupid realistic style... Can't get the hang of you!)
Yeah. I'm probably going to need help finding a picture to use. I'll give a detailed verbal description of my character though (and maybe a doodle or something). (I was going to do a Google search for the picture with my defined search results, but I'm horrible at picking a real life picture I like. Though I do tend to draw a character, and then see someone walk into the store I work at that looks exactly like my picture a few days/weeks later! It's scary...)
I'll be working on my reservation/profile shortly. Just got home from life... ninja

Oh , I thought the story page explained well . Okay , so basically there's this metalloid called kalydium that was discovered outside Banbury-in-Dorchester and years after its discovery they started making engines with it . People were into using dirigibles for air transport but with the kalydium they can just straight up make a maritime ship fly c: Buuuut , side affect - and we're still working on the specifics - the kalydium messes with people's DNA after long periods of exposure under certain conditions , resulting in magic-like mutations . So that covers sailors and wizards ;p Now pirates - because the kalydium is this power future-controlling resource , and also because a lot of people are unhappy about the shoddy state of the mines , there are pirates . So we have the Coalition Air Force ( the good guys . . ish . . . the military ) and we have the Pirate Armada ( the bad other good ? guys . . . wait what ? ) - well actually there's only like 2 ships . . so far . . . and they're both after a fountain of youth wellspring mine with vast amounts of kalydium - the stuff that makes ships fly and gives peeps magical powers C:

character image (Need work on this.) Name: Garald Willington Position: On a ship. (Don't know enough yet to say, so probably just best to place me on a ship.) Occupation: Navigator Allegiance: Pirate Username: Tesunie
For picture search a description of the character concept: Grenald is a lanky youth (around 16-17 years for age) with blond hair (possibly freckles) and brown colored eyes (optional). He has a rather calm and aloof manner of personality. Though he works for the pirates, he is rather free spirited and kind hearted, though he tends to rather not interfere with the affairs of people who provide him food, shelter and friendship. (He's great for trying to calm other people, especially a prisoner they might want to cooperate with them, as he tend to hold himself as indifferent.)
One thing I was thinking as far as "starting abilities" (as I'm not sure how you guys wish to do this). I desire my character to be able to "listen to the wind". This his how he navigates, by knowing where the winds are going. (He'll actually be acting like the wind is alive around him.) He wont be controlling the winds at all or anything. He's just attuned to them. (Just a desire for the character.)
I'll be filling out the profile sheet shortly... ninja
EDIT!: I changed his name to Gareld. I kept trying to type Grenald, and it kept coming out as Gareld. So... I guess Gareld has spoken! Sorry if this provides an inconvenience.
