Farvardin belatedly realized that the other girl had waved at her. She grinned back and gave a quick wave. "Hello! Great booth you have here!" She said picking up another dart. She then threw it before turning to Alec. She didn't seem to notice that she had missed. "Oooohhhh sounds fun and tricky." She exclaimed at the fishing game, "Sweet!" She gladly took a piece of candy and popped it into her mouth. She gave a happy groan as she chewed. Man she loved sweet stuff.

"Cool, what kind of shop is it?" Rachel asked while thinking of what kind of shops were near by. "Yep and your Alec right?" She asked with a grin, not at all bothered to admit that she was listening to the conversations of anyone who played at the booth. She looked over at the other girl and rocked on her heels a bit. "Thank you! I came up with the idea but my little brother helped me put it up."

It wasn't very often that Nik descended from his tower on high behind wall Sina, but the celebration of 100 years of peace seemed interesting enough to capture the attention this noble. He could care less about the overall theme seeing as Titans were nothing more than white noise in his life, but he was always up for an opportunity to party.
As he walked down the lane chalk full of booths with various wares or games he couldn't help but to think how tacky it all looked in comparison to the celebrations he was accustomed to. Despite his snobbish demeanor he could help but to stop in front of a booth containing neat rows of balloons that begged to be popped.
Approaching in all the pomp and swagger of the Nobility he plucked a dart from the box, shrugging off the urge to wipe it down before throwing it. Taking a haphazard toss he quirked a brow at the miss, a smile of amusement revealing his nicely kept white teeth. His aim was still just as bad as ever.

As per his usual MO he was oblivious to those chatting around him as he snatched up another dart, this time putting a tiny bit more effort into the game. When he had first noticed this booth he had no way of knowing it would be as entertaining as it was. If there was one positive thing he could say it was that the parties he normally attended had nothing like this.
This thought elicited an internal laugh as he rolled his eyes and tossed the dart once more. If something like this were ever to appear at a noble party it would involve arrows and some kind of high priced target. No way would any of the people he associated with engage in an activity as cheap as this.
With a disappointing 'thunk' he allowed his shoulders to droop as he missed yet again. All of his education and finery couldn't improve his aim, even a cheap game such as this presented more than enough of a challenge.

At this point a slight crinkle of concentration began to show on his brow as he again took a dart between his thumb and forefinger. This time he closed one eye and rocked his hand back and forth in feigned tosses. He had always known his archery aim was in dire need of improvement, but throwing darts at balloons? Surely it didn't require nearly as much skill.
Letting loose the dart after a moment he watched it fly and hit in the exact spot as it had the time before, missing the balloon again. A wider smile shown on his face as he stared at the board in disbelief. He was suddenly glad that his friends had scoffed at the idea of attending such a lowly event, otherwise he would have been quite embarrassed at this point.
"Who knew?" He mumbled.

"Supply Goods is the name of the place. Its delivers across town..that i get stuck dealing with usually, but it does okay for its self." He nodded when she asked his name. "Yup, that would be correct." It didn't bother him she knew, even if they hadn't officially introduced themselves to one another. He almost felt like he knew her given how easy it was to speak with Rachel. "Yea! I'll just stand with you since I had my tries if that's the case, but still." He nodded encouragingly not really focusing on who hit or missed the board. Instead he casually tossed the dart shortly after she did. The new comer to the booth had him peering around Farvadin, in a slow inching creep as if he knew he could be safe behind her. "Hello there.." He offered trying to be friendly. Something about the males demeanor told him he likely didn't care but what did it hurt to try? It went unnoticed he got another win.

A slight rush of excitement and anticipation ran through his body as he plucked yet another dart from the box, this time taking notice of the bright colors surrounding it. It wasn't like the parties he had grown up knowing, but there was something rather charming about it now that he took the time to look.
Clenching his teeth he went through the same process as before but this time as he threw it a voice reached him causing him to look away. The dart zinged to the very edge of the board, catching in his peripherals and causing him to look back once again. Running his fingers through his hair out of embarrassment he turned back to the person who spoke to him.
His eyes came to rest upon goggles seated atop the young man's head and he found himself wondering about what type of category of fashion that fell under. Moving away from thoughts of fashion he adorned a friendly smile and responded. "Hello." Turning back he gestured at the board and laughed. "Do you know the secret of this game? I certainly don't, as is evident by my poor aim!"

Farvardin smiled at Rachel. "That's nice! I wish my brother was interested in hanging out with me or even talking to me at this point. Instead he acts like I've got the plague and avoids me." She said with a sigh. "Yeah. Maybe you can give me pointers." She said noting how he was peering around her to look at the newcomer. Almost as if he making her a shield. She mentally shrugged that off since she honestly didn't care if he did. "Hey there! Have you ever played a dart game before?" She asked the new guy. She hadn't notice how he had walked up so she had no clue that she was talking to someone from wall Sina. She picked up a dart and threw it. "Make sure you aim. That's key to any sort of throwing game." The dart hit the balloon and she cheered while grabbing a piece of candy. "See. Aim. All you need."

Not that he wouldn't actually make her his shield, she just happened to have been there for him the other day at the banquet and it sort of seemed natural given their quickly developing odd little friendship. "Pointers..well of course its got something to do with aim." He laughed feeling a bit silly really as he nodded at the new comer. "And a certain amount of luck I think..." He eyed the dart board with some amount of curiosity. "It seems to have a mind of its own." As he spoke, the dart landed with another pop. Seeing as he'd had his fair share of wins he hesitantly asked what the other male would like, sharing as he had with the girl whom had joined him after a bit.

Looking from the red haired male to the red banged female who also wore goggles upon her head he nodded. "Aim," he paused, "well then. I suppose I shall just have to keep trying." Aim had never been his strong suit but because it had never been a necessary part of his life he never sought to improve on it.
Once again assuming his stance and closing one eye he attempted to line the dart up with a balloon, using the feather as the sight. Flicking his wrist forward he threw the dart once more, watching as it missed one more time.
Looking to the two giving him advice he shrugged his shoulders and chuckled. "Horrid aim and poor luck apparently make this game impossible, even for me."

Farvardin nodded at what Alec said. "Yeah I guess luck does have a part in it. But keep practicing! You'll get better." She said while clapping the new guy on the back, "I'm Farvardin by the way. Nice to meet ya." She then picked up a dart and tossed it at the board. Hearing the balloon pop she grabbed another piece of candy. "Hm... maybe you should try the other eye. Perhaps you're not using your dominate eye." She suggested after watching him throw another dart.

"That isn't a bad idea. I was testing out both arms for which one was landing a hit better." He nodded encouragingly at the other boy, namely so he wouldn't feel compelled to give up so quickly. Right, they were trading names. "I'm Alec." He offered up as well, rifling in the dart bin for a new one. If he noticed the other giving his goggles a weird look he didn't really take it into consideration. He wore them on the occasions for when he actually had to ride on a wagon to make deliveries. Most of his deliveries were on foot of course, but he also just happened to like having the protective eye wear on hand. They had become another part of his usual attire along with his gloves. Taking a quick glance back he took aim giving it a go. Ah, the sweet rewards of candy. Given he'd shared his last two wins with the two at the booth with him this one was totally his.

His station in life having been entirely forgotten at this point Nik allowed himself to enjoy what he was doing, despite it being considered beneath him. Shortly after the girl suggested trying his other eye a deeply pensive expression painted his features, that was, until he was clapped on the back. Allowing his features to relax he grinned and executed a fancy bow as he had been taught to do. "It is a pleasure to meet you Ms. Favardin. My name is Nikolaus, but Nik is also an acceptable substitute."
Turning as though nothing strange had occurred he watched as she hit yet another balloon and popped a candy in her mouth. This was shortly followed by another 'pop' echoing out over the booth as the boy did the same. Crossing his arms and shaking his head he laughed. "Guess I will have to give it another try."
His attempt was delayed when he was faced with another introduction and he bowed once more in lieu of shaking hands. The reach would have been a dreadful imposition that would have ended up invading Favardin's personal space and as such was avoided. "Once again, delighted. My name is Nikolaus but you may call me Nik."
Once his introduction had been completed he picked up one final dart, squinted the opposite eye and tossed. This time he was met with the delightful sound of a balloon popping and, mimicking the other two, he plucked a piece of candy from the box and tossed it in his mouth. "And there you have it!"

Farvardin grinned and clapped her hands together when Nik hit a balloon. "There you go Nik!" She said happily. She looked down at the dart bin for a moment before picking another dart out. "If you keep at it Nik you'll be popping balloons left and right. You could even try out the other dart tossing game. That one was fun." She then looked at the board and took aim. Finally she threw the dart and completely missed. "Hahaha. I missed. Guess I need some more luck for this."

"Hey you got one!" The red head boy called out excitedly in response to the other finally landing a hit. He would have been shocked to learn the boy was from wall Sina. After Andrea and this conversation, he was actually open to the idea not all of them were jerks...or royalty for that matter. Maybe at least. However, he was clueless as the other didn't seem to be some snotty upperclassmen. To him it was all white noise, much like the titan menace even if he'd felt the loss of a family member years previous. "Well nice to meet you Nik." he finally added, a bit gentler as he smiled. Looking back at Farvardin he nodded in turn at her. "After this I say we either try the food testing booth..mind you its spicy or go down by the bookstore perhaps?" He suggested looking between the two. One more last dart before much longer. The night was not getting any younger, and they had other things to do. He could always come back later. Tossing his last dart he turned around to keep talking to the others. One more pop! sound, and he was pocketing it to bring home to his sister. Whether the pair wanted to team up and go wandering around he wasn't sure but he'd at least offered. (( I can wait until i see you both on tomorrow to do the fishy game maybe? Let me know! ))
