 " Sooo that's a yes." nick calls from the other room sliding his shirt on wiggling to get it down onto his chest. He pulls the shirt down fixing it before heading back out towards her

  Tiana shrugged once more. "Interpret it as you wish," she said. She was thinking back to the last memories she remembered about her past, what had happened to her and what caused her to become who she was.

Tiana crossed her arms. "Well, I've been LIVING here for longer than you think. As well as protecting this apartment from other demons and whatnot trying to take my property."((OOC: It's ok. Understandable))

Nick shakes his head. " That's the thing you've been occupying it not living in it." He sits back straight slightly blocking her out. " okay I get it" he mumbles.

As the silence grew the more awkward Nick felt. He fidgeted and tried to watch the tv but Tiana was in the corner of his vision.. So he looked down and began to pick at his shirt.. Having her constantly there made him nervous like he shold impress her in some way but not knowing how to.

Tiana noticed he stayed quiet the whole time and gave a sigh. Ever since she was able to talk to him like any other, she felt pretty awkward from how quiet they had gotten. She was used to them talking to each other a lot. "Why did you move into here in the first place?" she asked him, not looking at him directly. She just wanted to get a conversation going.

Nick glanced at her when she sighed. he didn't know if she was annoyed or bored and either way he had no idea why to fix it. His head perked up when she talked though when he looked over she wasn't looking at him so he looked away. " Uh well my moms job didn't play well to support us and once I got a job I could support myself and not put so much stress on her..." He falls silent. " So I moved out so she could have her own life and not have to work and worry all the time... "

Tiana stayed silent the whole time, listening in to what he was saying. She felt bad about all that. "What about your father?" she asked. He only ever mentioned his mother and wondered whatever happened to his father.

Nicholas makes a -tick noise with his mouth and sighs. " he's never been there." He shrugs. " Just left when I was born and never came back." He bites his inner lip and takes in a deep breath holding not only sadness but a ever going anger.

Tiana listened and looked down a bit. "I see. It must have been hard without a father figure," she said. She stretched out her arms a bit and sat up straight before slumping again. "But then again, I don't remember much so I don't even know if I had parents or not."

Nick looks at her and shrugs. " Maybe that's easier." He leans against the arm of the couch thinking about all his mother had to do. He watches the tv again and tries to get the thoughts out of his head.
