Matt Alfen Matt didn't say a word at her reply as he was picking books and looking over at her at times. It was becoming rather obvious that she wasn't going to leave him alone. He let out a sigh when she stated that they didn't know anything about her like he did before she let out a sly smile and stated that he could make her leave. "Hmmm.. You're that kind of person huh? And who said that I don't have away of making you leave?" He asked as he looked at her, and at that moment she would have felt a large amount of killing intent coming from the boy before it disappeared. "You aren't the first ghost I've had following me around, and I have also quite the knowledge on how to get rid of unruly ones. So, do you really want to push that line? Then again, I can also just turn off the device in my eyes that I'm using to see you, then I won't see you at all." He stated with a light smirk on his face. He brought the books over to the table and sat on the chair and looked at her. "Also, I've told you all I know anyway, so there is no real point in hanging around me." He added with a light shrug of his shoulders.

Though, what could she possibly be afraid of? She was already dead. The fear was unreasonable, and if she pressed on, then maybe… As he stated that it was the work of a device that allowed him to see her, her face dropped once more. She had underestimated the technology from the worlds he traveled to. Not only that, but she didn't even think that he had any with him. There was also another hint of a threat to his words and tone. No, not a hint, he was blatantly trying to intimidate her. Well, it was working. "Y-you wouldn't…", she said in response to him talking about the device. He was someone she could talk to, and it didn't matter to her if he was mean, but it seemed that he was beyond cruel and stubborn. If he refused to participate altogether, then…it was back to square one. She shook her head, "You're lying! You have to know more"

Matt Alfen "I would easily do a lot of things. You'd be surprised what you would do just to survive." Matt stated in a matter-of-fact tone as he looked at her. It was clear that she was surprised by the things he had said like how he had been using a device to see her. He then saw her shake her head and say that he was lying about all he knew about her, "Unfortunately, that is a fact because it seems you share the same afflictions that they have. They all have amnesia and don't remember who they are. Though it is strange that it does happen, but it does happen." He stated with another sigh, there was nothing he could do about it, though there are technology that do help with regaining one's memory, it wouldn't exactly work with a ghost.

Every time there was an attempt, she was met with dead ends, and this was no exception. Every other kid in the school would think it was great, or a least scary to talk to a ghost, but the one kid she managed to talk with is too stubborn to give her this. Not only that, but it appeared that she met a similar fate in all other alternate worlds. It was as if Abby was fated to not know of her past. Though, not knowing was nothing new, and it was an easier pill to swallow than losing someone to talk to. Being acknowledged felt great, and she didn't want it to stop now. The thought of disappearing again, in a figurative sense, made her want to scream. Her mind raced for a way to persuade him to keep the device on. Meanwhile, the temperature dropped a couple degrees. "It's not like I'm trying to kill you! I don't even want to hurt you! You're just being so…!"She was getting caught up in the frustration. "Do you think I'd be bothering you if I didn't have a choice? I don't want it to be like this…I don't understand, if you hate me so much, why didn't you just ignore me from the start?!"

AiviloMills Fixing grammar/spelling errors x.x Matt Alfen Matt had leaned back in his seat as he stared at the girl, he noticed the change in temperature as she seemed to be thinking about what he had said about what he would easily do and the information about the versions of her in other worlds. He narrowed his eyes as he heard her next words about not trying to kill him and not even wanting to hurt him and complained how he didn't ignore her from the start, but it was at that moment that she would notice the terrifying pressure of killing intent toward her, "Not trying to kill me, don't even want to hurt me? The last time I heard that and believed that I ended up impaled by arrows and stabbed by three swords that were all laced with poison. Don't ever use those words again, brat." He stated with a very scary glare, the pressure of his killing intent seemed to only increase. This was not something a normal 17 year old should be able to emit. "As for why I didn't ignore you, that's really none of your business, now isn't it?" He stated with a frown as his killing intent disappeared while he spoke.

He warned her to not say those things to him, even though she spoke the truth. It must have triggered that traumatic memory, she thought. Even though he couldn't attack her (unless there were special technology hidden on his person), she felt very threatened. Abby didn't get it. She's never seen anyone treat someone so coldly in all her years of observation. It wasn't fair to her, to meet someone to interact with, someone who had a few things in common with her even, only to be pushed away. "I…I don't even have the ability to harm you…I…"Abby was still taken aback by his hostility. She backed up, seeming a bit afraid. She crossed her arms, as she did, her head started bleeding. Blood dripped down over her eye and down her face, disappearing into nothing just like her legs. Abby didn't seem aware of it. "I thought you'd understand…being alone and afraid all the time…"

Matt Alfen It was rather obvious that his killing intent could clearly affect the ghost girl as she seemed rather threatened. He frowned once again at her comment about how she didn't even have the ability to harm him. It was at that point that she had crossed her arms and backed up a bit, noticeably afraid and there was what looked to be blood on flowing from her head and dripping down, only for it to disappear. "I understand more than you know, it's just the difference is, I got used to it and toughened up." He stated simply before he put a hand on his chin as he thought for a moment. "Fine, I will continue to talk with you, but only on one condition, if you don't like it, you will have to find a different conversation partner then. Do you want to hear it?" He asked her with a barely noticeable smirk on his face as he looked at her.

To Abby, Matt's attitude resembled that of a powerful and angry monster. He threw threats at the drop of a hat, and became agitated when someone was around. She thought about what sort of things he endured to make him so drastically different than all the other human school children his age. He had already mentioned being impaled and poisoned, she couldn't imagine what that felt like. It was then Matt gave her an offer. It seemed that he was having second thoughts about talking because of her attempt at a connection. However, he was asking for something in return, and it could be dangerous. Abby wanted to hear what he had to say, though she was hesitant. "…okay…what is it?"

Matt Alfen Matt watched her silently as as she was thinking hard about his proposal. It wasn't like he was going to force her into doing something despicable, at least from his view. When she agreed to hear the condition, the boy let out a light smile before speaking, "It's not as bad as you would think... I simply want you to be my eyes and ears and gather information for me. It doesn't matter how minor it may seem, it'll be useful for me. Long story short, you'll be my ghostly spy." He stated to her as he still smiled a bit while looking at her to see her reply. With her abilities as a ghost, this kind of thing would be easy for her to do, and it'll give her something to talk about.

Spying on others is what she does every waking moment, so it wouldn't be much of a disturbance to her routine. Being a spy might even by exciting. All she had to know was who and what to look out for. Still, working with a person like Matthew would be difficult. She decided that she will do it, but if things turn sour she will disappear on him. "Oh…I can do that…"Had he offered this right away, she would have been very happy about this arrangement. Seeing how he acted was scary at best, and he had made her feel unsafe earlier. She will have to be very careful.

Matt Alfen Matt's current smile could easily be considered dangerous in some senses, but he did find it helpful that she had accepted to be his spy in exchange for him being her conversation partner. "That will be helpful then." He replied as he leaned back in the chair. "Well then, since our deal is complete, what do you want to talk about?" He asked her with mild curiosity, deciding it was better to already give her conversation first before sending her off to gather information on people. That, and he was slightly curious on what kind of conversation a ghost who hadn't had a conversation in years with another person.

Abby had got what she wanted and could finally have conversations with someone. However, she had exhausted her artillery of questions she had about her past life, as Matt couldn't answer the rest. Maybe later on, once she had given him good information, she could ask him for another favor in return. For now, Abby didn't know what to say. She thought about mimicking conversations school girls have had in her presence, but it wouldn't feel natural. Besides that, Matt wasn't the type to have a normal conversation with. She couldn't ask him about favorite movies now, could she? Though she had watched a few while wandering about, she couldn't see Matt enjoying anything like that. Things that she enjoyed herself might seem boring to others, and she worried that her lack of "real life" experiences made her devoid of redeemable qualities or personality. Abby didn't have to worry about her character until now. Just then, she remembered him mentioning other ghosts. That's a great topic to start with, she thought. "Uhm…the other ghosts. Were any of them like me?"She knew some must have been troublesome is a way, if he had to 'take care of them' as he had said. She wondered if they were malicious or just annoying to him.

Matt Alfen "Tsk, why can't you ask something more normal?" Matt muttered in reply, clearly not amused about the question. "It depends on them, there are many types of ghosts as there are races. The ones I got rid of were the ones who tried to harm me." He replied to her question honestly as he looked at her. "What else do you want to talk about?" He questioned her, but he was giving her a look that screamed not ask any more questions about ghosts nor about herself from previous worlds he had visited. At the same time, he was thinking of a job for her to do while he would be in class, since it wouldn't be much longer until lunch was over.

It was good to know more about her kind, and it would be nice to know more details, but based on the look he was giving…it wouldn't be a good idea. It really wasn't fair, to have all these answers dangling in front of you and they are all out of reach. "Then…what's it like to taste things?"She frowned soon after having asked. That wasn't a normal question either. Maybe talking to someone was worse than not talking to people...

Matt Alfen "Pfft. Not normal? You're no different than a high school girl, just because you're a ghost, have amnesia, and don't know the taste of things, that's not going to change." Matt replied bluntly to the girl. He then started to speak again about her question, "As for taste? Eh, I find it useful for detecting poisons. Though it's hard to describe taste, it's like describing colors you see... Except for Turkish Delights, those things taste like the color they have." He replied honestly as he had a hand on his chin. "Also, any questions about your ghostly form I will answer at some point, just not right now." He added as he leaned back in his chair and put one leg over the other.
