Stormy sat there and absorbed the information she just heard and replied " Healing is one of my most powerful abilities, my other ability is putting up barriers both physical and mental, however I have been able to infuse both positive and negative emotions in my barriers but I am still working on that." Stormy got up and paced a bit and talk aloud "As for your friend I believe I have met her, I can't remember what her name was but she seemed friendly and not at all aggressive, just a little nervous and shy around other wolves, if you don't mind me asking how was her brother killed?"

Rinitai went over to the as her silver and red pelt glistened in the setting sun and listened as her eyes scanned over the new wolf. Then looked around for her brother.
Ranukai slowly entered the location, but stayed defensive as he kept his distance. * I don't trust him at all he kinda seems like a norse clan scout, but I doubt he is related to the clan. * he thought to himself.

Veil laid down. "Sera got scared. She has two flames. One's purple and its highly destructive. The other one is a very pale blue. It actually heals on a minor scale. When she got scared, the purple flame rushed through her fur to protect her. He was standing too close. The flames covered him in seconds. All we saw after that was ash where he had been standing. Sera hasn't been the same since. She ran a few days later. The pack wanted her dead and figured they wouldn't waste the wolves to track her. I came on my own. She used to play with me and she helped me learn that the things that I sense aren't always bad." Veil hides his face again by bringing a tail around. "I just really need to find her."

Kurogane wasn't at all buying this no matter how true. He was thinking what benefit he would get from being so nice. "Hmm, I think I can smell her scent, but why should we help you? You are not from here so why should I waste my time doing so?" Kurogane was not trying to be rude just because but he wanted to be sure this wolf was being genuine.

Veil raised his whole body, even though it hurt, to look at Kurogane in the eyes. "I'll either tear this land apart looking for my best friend, or you can help me and I can take her away from here. I don't particularly care which. I'm tired and hungry but I can find her if I have to on my own. Please, I just want my friend and I want to keep her safe. Here, where she's alone, she isn't safe. I'm terrified that if she gets hurt, she won't have anyone to back her down. She doesn't follow an Alpha. As a point of fact, our old pack hated her because she wouldn't bow down." Veil could feel his muscles shaking but he stood his ground. "Look, either help me or don't, but the longer I stand here, the further away she gets and the less chance I have of finding her."

Stormy listened to Veils story and was about to reply when Kurogane jumped in and said "Hmm, I think I can smell her scent, but why should we help you? You are not from here so why should I waste my time doing so?"
Stormy thought the comment sounded a bit rude but she didn't sense any aggression from him. And when Veil and looked Kurogane in the eyes replied with what a somewhat bold reply Stormy jumped in before things got bad. "How about we go hunt something to eat and rest during the heat of the day, so you can build up your strength and when night comes we can discuss about trying to find your friend."

Kurogane had a few problems with that reasoning but didn't want a fight with a weakened wolf. If there was any more than finding his friend, he would have a problem. Stormy suggested that the hunt something down to eat for every one before looking for this friend. "Whatever," he stood and turned looking out at the rising sun. "If you suggest something then you are responsible." Kurogane, though he said that, he was already walking towards where some prey usually resided.

Veil takes a single step forward and falls flat. Gritting his teeth, he tries to push himself up, but he can't. He looks at Kurogane's retreating back then looks at the brother and sister, then finally to Stormy. "I would highly appreciate finding her now, actually. I can only read energy but she knows how to help me. And, to be perfectly honest, I don't trust any of you further than I can throw you. As I'm presently not capable of throwing any of you, I'm afraid I can't trust you."

Stormy was about to follow Kurogane to go hunting but stopped in her tracks when Veil had said "I would highly appreciate finding her now, actually. I can only read energy but she knows how to help me. And, to be perfectly honest, I don't trust any of you further than I can throw you. As I'm presently not capable of throwing any of you, I'm afraid I can't trust you." The rude comment stung at her core. She turned around got in Veils face and coldly replied "if that's how you feel about us then go hump a rock and leave us alone." She turned around in a huff, walked past Kurogane and off to find something to eat leaving Veil behind to stew over her insult.

Kurogane smirked at Stormy's words but continued to walk away. He planned on helping to get food for everyone but did not think about what he was doing. Helping this wolf would violate his rules as beta not to mention the fact that he was hunting with the enemy. As this point though, Kurogane was getting hot from the sun heating up the dirt.

Veil would have laughed at Stormy but refrained. "If you were in my paw prints, would you trust me?" He kept his voice soft, a trick he learned from watching his Alphas. "Would you trust wolves who were in all ways stronger than you? Instead of being insulted, try being me for an instant. I'm weak from hunger and traveling nonstop. I can't stand at all and I can't walk. Would you trust you, being me?"

Stormy turned her head and said curtly " If they were stronger than me I wouldn't have much choice but to trust them now would I, besides if I meant any harm to you I would not have healed you nor would have I intervened when you got in Kurogane's face which is not a smart thing to do if you are as weak as you say you are."

Veil inclined his head. "I am weak. Sera was my protector. I was the punching bag for the pack, so I learned to speak up and use words instead of my teeth and claws and powers to fend for myself. My protector ran. She doesn't like conflict. I have no reason to trust you, except that I smell her on you, Stormy. You've been near her recently. She's a fragile, delicate soul, and for once in my life, I want to protect her!

Stormy was getting exasperated and was having a hard time keeping her temper in check so she did her best to rely calmly " If you smelled her on me then you know you can trust me when I say I will help you find her , I only suggested the hunt because it gets extremely hot during the day and if we got something to eat we could rest in some shade and wait for nightfall your friend is less likely to be out in this heat."
