Miache didn't even notice the blockage, still with a vacant look plastered over his face. That trash really did him no good....it would still be a while before he could right himself.
Fortunately, for the small troll, his stationary sled managed to get bumped in the right direction by a few others going the same direction, sending him on his way once more. After getting going he still didn't come to even with the raging blizzard around him, instead foraging through it with the same slack-jawed expression, guided and pushed on by the wind at his back. Whew! He couldn't believe his luck with how short that seemed! Somehow he felt like taking that ramp shortened his time more than he had intended. Well, he knew better than to look a gift muscle-beast in the mouth, he had to hold onto the ground that he finally made up!
When the blizzard around him got worse he scrunched his face. No.....he'd have to be mad to continue on, he could wind up injuring himself or getting sick or getting lost. Where would he wind up when he couldn't even see in front of him? No.....better to try to wait out some of that terrible weather and try to set out again when he could at least see. I chose option # : 3 My score is: 1
I chose option # : 4 My score is: -5 Vremea was just too tired to put up with her own bullshitty luck. She was tempted to keep traveling, but she knew she would loose the race already, and pretty much just decided to walk at her own pace. The only things coursing through her mind were— how could she have picked a better way to preform better? She huffed a bit, pulling her snow coat a little more over herself—she was getting cold, but she didn't want to stop moving. Nope, don't stop moving, you'll freeze to death.

If Keionx was a normal, sane troll she would have screamed in frustration, as it was, she was just annoyed. She backtracked and set down her sled to continue.
She was far behind, but she was a hero! And being a hero, that meant that the more hardships that were in her way, the better things would turn out! Since she was so behind, she could only come in first now!
Logic!
She continued into the ever-growing snowy haze, pleased with herself for 'overcoming' the 'obstacle' until it became clear that this was no haze, but a blizzard. Pah! Blizzards.
"Curse thee, oh breath of Frostbeast! I challenge thee!" she howled over the driving snow and, contrary to all logic, dismounted her sled and strode out into the snow, drawing an imaginary sword (she'd had to leave her weapons at the starting line) and using her sled as an imaginary shield. "And I shall defest thee!" she shouted before she dissappeared into the thick snowfall...
I chose option # : 2 My score is: -3 Urgh, failing so many times must've meant she was going to win!!! (Eventually!!) Pftehehe, sure she needed to walk back, but none of that deterred her. She was too awesome!! Too amazing!!! Such strength, very amazing!! But she was getting cold. It was like the strength was sliding out of her to the point of exhaustion— but who really kinda sorta maybe worried her was Serpentmom. Her entire body was frozen and she was shivering so much... She needed to find somewhere to rest, pronto.

As you sled and sled and sled, the freezing wind starts to make your bones ache from your head to your horns. You quickly lose steam trying to go full power through the blizzard. Have you been going in circles? Are you there yet? Where is everyone else? Rather than continuing to struggle through the unending white static of the storm, you can't help but collapse from exhaustion. After the blizzard passes, you paw yourself out of your snowy tomb and find the strength to carry on, unsure of where you stand in the race and if your fingers and toes are still functional. Lose two points.
If you chose 2):
Thankfully, you turn back just in time as the snowstorm builds. After having exited the highway you remembered seeing an old boarded up convenience store, and you head inside (see: breaking and entering) to stay warm. It's been mostly gutted, but hey look a bag of moobeast jerky! Who knows how long it's been here. You might not be that desperate, but at least you've got some leeway in case you get snowed in. Fortunately, the storm recedes before then. Gain one point!
If you chose 3):
You set up your sled as a windbreaker and sit down, trying to conserve your energy. Thankfully, having the sled helps, but you don't exactly feel renewed and refreshed after the storm passes. You creakily get back on your icy sled and scoot through fresh powder, feeling stiff and statuesque after sitting in one place for so long. To top it off, the blizzard has blown away your previous sled tracks! Feeling your way to get back to the right direction takes time and more of your precious energy. Lose one point.
If you chose 4):
Like a mighty knight with shield, you take the first unsteady steps through the snow with your sled held up to block the increasingly deadly weather. Taking the time to follow tracks and keep the slush out of your eyes helps you to see the clearest path, and driven by pure adrenaline and stony patience you work your way through the storm. As the blizzard subsides you find the Boardwalk's lights very close by! Gain two points!
FINAL CHOICE:
Here you are. The amount of revellers begins to turn into a veritable crowd as you sled closer to the Boardwalk, following what SHOULD be the course. The markers lead directly into a throng of trolls eager to see who comes out on top. Unfortunately for you, the crowd is so thick that you can't even see the finish line! This is your final chance to make your efforts into a solid finish. How do you beat the crowd and claim your place?
1) Plow through them! They should know better than to get in your way, so a few knocked heads and sled-bruised shins shouldn't be a surprise. 2) Walk through the crowd! As long as you get back on your sled before the finish line, it's like you sledded the whole way, right? 3) Reroute the finish line! If you move the markers, you may be able to buy yourself time and confuse your competitors with a handy "detour". 4) Stage an elaborate distraction! If you can't get past the crowd OR distract your competitors, you might as well take out both! Go big or go home!
Name: Keionx Rutace Blood colour:Orange Submission: Keionx's submission is a piece of thick, very sturdy, Lusus-proof black and white paper. The paper is cut in the vague shape of a troll bloodpusher, and the black parts are cut in the kismesis symbol. This sturdy paper is impaled by an actual, flarp sword, tastefully decorated with colorful grumbcandies, dripping candy blood off of the sharp end. The blood color is teal, and on the paper it reads: “I hate you so much that I want to drive a blade through your Blood-pushing organ and keep the blood forever. I will never wash off the splatter, just to remind myself of how much I hate you.” with a small doodle of a wilting flower at the end. She thinks its very to the point and eloquent, so you can bet that she didn't come up with it herself. Likely, she got it either from Zariah's stories, from a climactic moment in a Flarp campaign, or from a book she read. In fact, it greatly resembles the line said in the famous ancient epic tale of the heroic exploits of the white-armored tealblood Whiteflag, during the scene where he faces his archnemesis (and fellow tealblood) the black-armored Blackflag. Whether Whiteflag actually kills Blackflag during this scene is hotly debated by scholars of the text, but... Ahem... Anyway, Keionx's submission is a bloody sword through a piece of paper.
