Considering for a moment, Leora voice piped up. " I am going to vote for Laine. " She had no particular reason at this point, but at this point they had to find a wolf sometime.
She didnt even blink an eye at the fact that scott had not been a wolf, but she did suddenly feel a twinge of guilt at how horribly pale the boy got at the announcement of his "death".

"Laine." She supplied, glancing at Nina. "Ya know, like a street? It's pretty cheesey to remember it like that but it works." The white haired girl just laughed and shrugged.
Makayla kept quiet for the most part, as she wasn't sure who to pick at this point. Everyone was coming up as villagers, which wasn't good. During the last game she was at, they already picked off a few wolfs by now. Chewing on her lip, she glance over those who been chosen at this point before she turns her eyes towards Mayumi "Sorry Mayumi, but my vote is you as well."

Merric patted Nina on the head and looked at the group. No wolves, really? Damn. He took a long drink of the can in his hand and thought.
"Uh well I guess... Mayumi since she's so quiet over there. I actually.. uh didn't know you were there, my bad." He gave the girl a sheepish little smile and waited patiently for the verdict.
At long last, some progress -- Ever looked almost relieved by the sudden consensus, his shoulders hiked in a brief shrug as he rose up to stand and made his way over to Mayumi.
"Mayumi, I might suggest more chat and less snacks next time." At least his tone was gentle, now, teasing in a friendly sort of way, shaking his head as he grabbed the card in front of her.
"As she dies, her human form melts away and is replaced by the furry shape of a wolf in its place. And thus, you have managed to live another night. One more night. We'll see beyond that."
He looked back to Mayumi, somewhat hopeful. "Death scene? and everyone else, head's down, night is coming!" ________________________________________

However under no circumstances should you say anything in your death scene. It's a dramatic, fun thing for you to do, not a way to give extra information!

It was, apparently, a quiet night -- Mayumi opting out of her death scene and everyone settling down without so much as a word. As the shuffling finished, Ever hummed, easing out of his chair, crown lost somewhere in the night --
"Okay, heads up everyone. I have good news and bad news. The good news is that the game isn't over just yet..." He circled until he settled, slowly, in front of Avery.
"Because the wolves have accidentally offed one of their own." He took her card, slowly turning it over to reveal the wolf on the other side. "The bad news is that Avery, you're now dead, with your own opportunity to enact a fabulous death scene -- I remember last time..."
He shook his head a little, shrugged, turning to the rest of the crowd. "They did you a favor, try not to do one in return. Who do you want to lynch tonight?" __________________
OOC NOTE:
It's lynching time!
For the next 48 hours, you should discuss in character who you think might be a wolf, who should be lynched, etc. If you want to say you think you felt someone move in the night -- go for it. If you want to go based on your knowledge of people in character -- go for that. If you want to lynch your BFF because it's hilarious -- also solid grounding.
I only have one request: Keep your posts brief. If possible, stick to 3-4 sentences max. Make it easy for people to read and keep the play going! You can post a bunch of times or you can post once, and that's up to you.
By 48 hours from this post, however, you should post in red bold font who your character is voting to be lynched. I'll post a reminder at the halfway mark!

"Tch," Avery clicked her tongue against the roof of her mouth in displeasure. "Naturally."
What a pity, too. They'd almost won. Unfortunate that there'd been no alpha to coordinate them, and it resulted in a group of feral dogs instead of a wolf pack.
As Ever flipped her card over, the generally pleasant young woman snarled at the group, red painted lip curling and revealing teeth that were almost too white. A manicured hand was held like a claw, as she swiped, just short of those closest to her, before a sharp yelp, hand going to her throat as if it had been torn out.
Gurgling once, the brunette slumped over onto the pillows that covered the floor. After lying limp for only a few seconds, Avery sat back up with a grin, wriggled her fingers goodbye to the group, and took her cup with her to the drinks table to get herself a refill of wine.
Hopefully the rest of the wolves would do better in the next round.

Jade's eyebrow rose up when the night's results were revealed. "Two wolves in a row?" How odd.
Avery's death scene was entertaining, much as Sawyer's had been. She smiled silently while watching the show before turning her attention back to the growth. There was so many possibilities. Who would go next out of the game?
"Let me guess. You are choosing Laine again, right Mackenzie?"
Thus far, the raven-haired Ariel had sat quietly while the game progressed without her, watching everyone with narrowed red eyes. It was amusing to see who voted for whom and which people were offed, valid reasons or not. It seemed the wolves were as incompetent at taking out their enemies as the villagers were, since they voted one of their own out. It struck Ariel as rather odd, actually... she couldn't really fathom why.
Still, she raised her near-empty glass as the council woman moved out of the group, saluting her.
"Somehow, I knew you had fangs under all that." Ariel said in a light, teasing tone, her smile flirty. Sitting out for a bit with a drink had eased her bruised pride and warmed her disposition a little, letting her remember that it was just a game after all. It was more fun to watch than to play, though.
So far, no votes were casted. Jade glanced at Ever, knowing that he was expecting players to pick someone. Did she really have to be the first one? Jade really hated being in the spotlight but someone had to cast the first vote.
"Hmm... How about our the little baby duck?" she offered. "Nina, wasn't it?"

"Oh, they're quite sharp," Avery readily admitted, flashing the older woman a winning smile. Joining the quiet, separate group of 'out' players, she brought the remainder of her wine bottle along and took a seat next to Ariel, speaking in a lowered voice.
"So glad you noticed." She lifted her cup and tapped it against the other woman's in a toast. "Ariel, wasn't it? I hope there's no hard feelings over that whole lynching business."
Avery's brows raised in mock innocence. "A girl's got to do what a girl's got to do."
Nina blinked. Well…this was new. She gave a little smile and shook her head. “Yeah. Nina it was…and it really seems like a wolf thing to do to attack a duckling…so, I think I’m going to go with a vote right back at you.” She nodded toJade.
“Are you just getting scared that wolves are finally dying…? So you’re now trying to attack the people who are innocent in all of this? Well. I for one am not going to stand for it…no ma’am.” She looked around the circle. “Will anyone back me up here? We need to survive, right? Who’s with me!”
Well. That was remarkably outgoing, Nina. Congrats.

"Of course you are," Jade calmly replied to Nina, not surprised at all to receive a counter vote from her. "Using sympathy as your weapon? How clever. Little Miss Duckling, your mask of innocence doesn't fool me. Maybe there is a fiesty predator hiding under that mask? There might very well be." She winked.
She glanced at Ever before returning her gaze to the remaining group. "It's part of the game to get rid of someone during this 'day' time. Are you really going to hold it against me for being the first one to cast a vote?"

"You may be a 'duckling' but for all we know that's just a disguise." If a wolf could dress up as a sheep, anything was possible. Even if the idea was a little far-fetched. "I think I'm going to go with you Nina. And I like your hair too." No one knew who was innocent or not. No one knew but the wolves.
