Lottie tried not to snort. But she did. This was funny. He thought she was actually sympathetic to his plight. Oh well. It was fun leading him on. In fact, she may as well play it up to the extreme! He thought she was a high class reaper, after all. As if Reapers had distinguished classes the way Demons did. Her family was at least large? And well off as far as having their own businesses was. It wasn't too big of a white lie to pretend she was a classy ghoul.
"Well, if it makes you feel any better.." She grinned, "Lottie is short for Charlotte." That was classier, right? She only went by Lottie because it was easier to say, and distinguished her from her grandmum of the same name.
"Hmmm the Mcallisters~" She mused, as if she actually had to scroll through names in her head. Really, all she was doing was imagining what sort of dessert he'd be if he wasn't a demon. Maybe a coco-puff. "Yes~ Yes~"
"Oh, such an honour, Cormick." She grinned. She feigned a swooning sound as he dipped her, though truth be told it did make the ghoulish side of her giggle in delight. "It's a shame these peons don't realize how lenient and generous you are~"

"Why me? You're his bloody familiar," Shun pointed out flatly. He didn't really know what was going on with the other reapers across the room, but it wasn't exactly his business if someone owed Kettil money or whatever.

He wasn't done with Piper yet. Oh no.
Kettil practically tensed even more, if such a thing were possible, as Piper shouted back at him about not going into his room to go through his stuff. There was a distinct change in expressions for several seconds, "Better not have been the one that did it, Piper. Cause it'd be a rotten thing to do to family." There was a quiet distinct tone of hurt to his voice. Kettil'd been so happy that Piper was at this school and the thought that she'd steal from him obviously hurt a great deal.
"Other than two other people, you're the only one that would know where I would hide that sort of thing," he pointed out stubbornly, "and Freya said she didn't take any of it and the other person would ask first."
After all his room didn't look like someone had gone through everything - it was as if the thief knew where he hid his extra money. For the moment Piper's entourage of boils didn't exactly register on the Muut's brain.
This was likely a good thing.

Cormick was a demon, not a smart demon. Plus he never heard of sarcasm before unless it was it him saying it.
"Why Charlotte, I don't understand why you don't use that name." He gave her a winning smile now, "I've entirely misjudged you Charlotte, though you do have questionable eating choices but...whatever makes the ghoul happy.
He puffed up at the affirmation of family names being heard, not even realizing she was imagining him as her next sweet to eat.
"One day this school will learn of my great presence Charlotte, I'll be ruling it with a firm hand. The reign of demons shall rise again and all these undead and monsters will be thrown back to the lower classes they were meant to be." He huffed, pulling her up.
"I'm thirsty, Wanna get something to drink?" it wasn't a question, it was him pulling her to the table and getting himself a drink. He didn't even offer one to Lottie...
Hel continued to give him a stern look, before it relaxed into a hopeless smile. “Ahh, just try harder though, ya? Seriously, Mot, you will start to perform poorly if you lose anymore sleep.” She then grabbed his hand and pulled him back to her so that they could resume dancing…even though it was now a different song.
“Oh…ya…” She paused, and glanced off to the side. “I am leaving tomorrow.”

Oh no. Now he was using her full name in nearly every sentence. This was perfect! He was marzipan in her hands! Was this what they meant by girls blooming into women, able to control a boil between their fingers?
"Yes~" She happily allowed herself to be dragged to the refreshments again, this time helping herself to some punch. Even if he didn't offer her a drink, like a lady should be treated! Oh well. A fight saved for later. "So how does Cormick think he'll teach this student body about his greatness and superiority?"
Nyxtsuki Moon
"I will." Mot nodded, letting himself get pulled back into dance. His expression fell, a frown replacing his soft smile. "Wow.. tomorrow, huh?" It was hitting him now. He'd not see her again for a long time. "I don't... have any friends like you, Hel. You will be sorely missed." His heart began to ache.
"I'll miss you a lot."

“Yaaaa…tomorrow…can not linger here forever.” Even as much as she wanted to sometimes. Hel trailed off for a moment. “My cottage was finished a few weeks ago, and the water and electric was set and the place I ordered furniture from just went ahead and dropped it off already!” She grinned a bit. “It is just missing one thing now…me! Well, and my personal touches…and I will have to rearrange the furniture once I get there but…ah, details!” Hel waved a free hand a bit.
“Ha! Well of course there is no one else like me! I am just amazing!” She cried with a laugh, but quickly simmered down. “Jeepers, Mot…do not look so down! It is not like I will never see you again! Ya, I am going to be further away but…come visit me! Anytime you want! Plus, I am certain I will be around here and there…being a Trick or Treater means a lot of traveling!” She assured, for both him and herself.

Mot was happy for her. Having her own place, with her own things decorating it. It was very... adult. Mot admired that. He wanted it for himself. Breaking the boundary that kept a student from being an independent grown up seemed so daunting. Maybe that was why the Graduation Gnomes had yet to visit.
He offered his best attempt at a smile, but it was a sad one. "I know." He'd visit. For sure, he would. But that thought didn't keep his heart from feeling it was being crushed. Who would he go to at a moments notice when something amazing happened? When he needed help or assurance? He'd trusted her with so much, and now he felt alone in an ocean far from home.
"Sorry, I know.." He rubbed his eye, trying not to let himself cry.

Mot was quiet, and the smile, while genuine wasn’t quite so happy, and Hel felt her heart twisting. Truth be told, right now, she didn’t want to leave either, but she attributed that to the fact she had just been so happy here, and now she was leaving it…but staying here forever wasn’t an option. Plus, she really did want her own house, her own path…Change was hard, that’s all.
The ghoul stopped trying to dance with him, and just held onto his hand for a moment before as she stared up at him, her brows knitted and somewhat of an awkward smile on her face. “Oh, Mot—“ She paused. “It will be okay! Jeepers, boil, that better be a tear of happiness!” She exclaimed, throwing her other hand in the air. “Like, ‘oh, Jack! I am so glad that Hel is finally leaving! She can stop doing all the crazy a** things and she can also stop being so ******** loud with her boilfriend next door! Finally some peace and quiet!’ “

At first he thought she had read his mind, but when he realized Serafina was talking about his reaction to the drink, Bren smiled with relief. "Just a, uh, little more bitter than I thought it would be," he said, setting his cup down on the table in front of him. "I've learned the volume of the music is part of this whole... thing," he said, waving his hand at the food and their peers. "If you want to go look at the tree, we can..."
He looked up when he heard a rather intimidating voice shouting for Piper, and continued to stare as the ghoul yelled back then started heading in their direction. Fighting. He wasn't good with it. It also seemed he wasn't terribly good with strange, but vaguely familiar, people shouting at other people he considered his friends. Bren bunched the muscles in his legs, threatening to stand again, but in the end he remained exactly where he was. Come to think of it, he really didn't want to get hit.
The boil lowered his gaze back to Serafina, his smile having gone a little crooked at the thought of voluntarily getting in the middle of a fight. "Would you like to go see the tree? I think it would be a really good idea to go do that right now."

Mot couldn't help but chuckle as Hel had her way of cheering him up, smiling through his teary gaze. "This is true. I'll enjoy the quiet." He'd also miss the noise. Although probably not the sexier noises she tended to make while in Mac's room next door. Definitely not.
"And.. I really am happy for you. Happy and proud. I won't be far behind, either. I promise." It didn't stop him from crying, though.

She grinned. “There! See! I knew you would!” She laughed, and then nodded her head. “Thanks, Mot, I appreciate it…and I am certain you will not be far behind!” She grinned again. “Someone has to also graduate and try to keep me in line!” Try. She patted the back of the hand that she was holding.
“Besides…yanno…I got my eyePhone still! So you can call me all the time—oh! Oh! Oh and we can do all the eyeMessaging since we have eyePhones!” Actually, as much as Hel didn’t care for her eyePhone, she had a feeling she was going to have a new found appreciation for it once she left. It would become her life line for communication for those she cared about.

Mot smiled. "I'm glad you've awakened to the wonders of technology." He joked, wiping his eyes with his free hand. "Thank you." He'd likely have to call her a fair bit for the first while.
He sniffled, finally getting a grip on his emotions. "I'm okay now."

It was good to see Brenley smile; he had seemed a little nervous ... or maybe that was just introversion, Serafina wasn't totally sure.
Looking at the tree sounded like a good idea. It would probably look bad if she plucked some of the wishes off, but maybe she could tilt her head in such a way that she could see some of them. Yeah, that'd work. Well, so long as she didn't have to look like some kind of snake to do it. Wait--was that shouting? Serafina's eyes lit up, immediately going to look at the people shouting in front of them. Ooh, what was this all about?
Money? Uh-oh~
It sounded like that girl with the crazy hair had borrowed money from the dude with the ... eagle and the winged reaper on his back without really telling him. Maybe stole? That would imply she was someone who could get into his private stash, right? Maybe they were related... Serafina tilted her head slightly, turning over in her head what this could be all about before--
Oh, Brenley sounded nervous. Well, when she thought about it, she didn't really want to be in the middle of something if it came to blows anyway, and missing seeds often could cause that. She preferred to watch from afar on a perch ... or in front of a tree, that worked.
She laughed quietly. "Probably. Let's go." She motioned to Brenley and slipped off in the direction of the tree.
but bren fights are funny actually she likes not being in the middle of them let's go

Gene showed up 15 minutes late to the party with Bloodbucks. She wasn't much for caring about punctuality with these big parties - people always mingled and had fun regardless of one ghoul not being there.
Suddenly grabbed by the elbow and carted off, coffee and all, the Doppleganger was placed in front of the wishing tree and given a quick explanation. So all she had to do was wrap a wish around a branch? That sounded...hokey. But, what the hell she figured. She was here to have fun and enjoy herself! Quickly scrawling her wish on the paper and tying it to a lower hanging branch, the ghoul sauntered into the throng.
Dear Wishing Tree: I wish... to make more friends and graduate this year! From: Genevieve
