 Here was peace. Faster smiled, and turned with his prize to the main clearing for another goose to lure out and track. They'd found their strategy: this would drive the victory home.

Calypso panted and panted, slumping into a sitting position to rest. He hadn't noticed how hard he had been running. The somewhat eerie chorus of honks had died down to a few here and there. He decided to let the geese come to him instead.

Unsure if she was even after the same goose and not just running after whichever was closest, Surprise looked for the leanest goose she could find and stalked it. Not so quietly or well at all.

Once again Wherewithal stumbled into a kin rather than a hen - or, wait, they were geese and ganders, right? Hens was chickens. Names aside, where'd all the little blighters gone? There had to be another goose around somewhere - he took a gander.

He pretended to snap at the chubby goose to let others know that's his game. and no one can have it. he leaped to and fro creating a wider path for himself to chase the bird. gaining his own territory.

Glossbones saw his fellow kin attacking the geese. He changed tactics and instead bellowed a war cry so mighty perhaps it will stun the geese.
