Diva picked up one of the magazines, rolled it up and walked over to Morgan. He turned to face Diva and got whacked on the head with the magazine, falling unconcious. The other Doctor's, save Morgan of course, cheered. He said "Now be quiet!" He set the magazine back on the table and began an examination of the cupboards.

Farlon had curled up into a ball on the floor of the ventalation shaft. He seemed oblivious to the gun in his hands and everything else around him. He was moaning as if in pain.
James - fighting against his conscience - decided now was the time to leave. He began to sneak back the way they'd come when Farlon's hand shot out and grabbed him by the wrist. He felt a sudden shot of cold running through his veins.
"You must not leave!" The voice was in his head - a female voice with a hint of reptilian. "I have not finished with you!"
"W-what?" James tried to pull his hand free, but though Farlon looked unconscious his grip remained inhumanly strong, "Where are you? Show yourself!"
There was a sudden scream in James' head that made him raise his hands to his ears.
"Everywhere! Everywhere! EVERYWHERE!"
The word echoed on and on for what felt like an eternity. Then it began to fade away and the voice returned, more subdued. "I shall find him. He will not escape into your world."
With another cold flash James felt Farlon's grip loosen and his arm was freed. He gasped in air - he'd obviously been too frightened to breath. There was a groan from Farlon. A less tortured groan, the groan of someone waking up after a sudden concussion.
"Doc... tor..."
"I'm here," he replied, massaging his wrist, "Though I sincerely wish I wasn't."

Morgan turned on his smaller incarnation. "I'd remind you that you are my future not my past!" he growled, "So it wouldn't bother me if you got knocked insenseless!"
"Now, now," said the Professor, trying to step between them, "This is no time for an argument..."
But Diva's grin had widened and Morgan didn't look like he was about to let the matter lie.

"And I would remind you that I don't care!" He said with a little deliriously happy tone. Diva still had a merry little grin on his face, still as cheeky as ever. He ran into one of the TARDIS'es to hide from Morgan who looked like he'd explode.

"No no! Don't fall for it!" The Professor grabbed Morgan round the stomach as he stormed forwards to chase Diva.
"Get off me you little..."
"I'll pretend I didn't hear that if you get back to fixing up a TARDIS!"
Morgan shoved the Professor to one side and leapt into the broken TARDIS. Meanwhile, Diva had snuck out through one of the back panels, carefully fixing it back in place.
"Hey!" came Morgan's muffled voice, "He's vanished!"
Donald, David and Diva burst into laughter, bringing Morgan storming back out. "I'll teach you!" He lifted a work-cloth, sodden with some sort of heavy black polish, and chucked it at Diva. It slapped straight into his forehead, splattering David at the same time.
"Urrgh!" Diva scraped it off his face and threw it back. Morgan ducked and the cloth hit Einstein instead, coating him. Diva's face went pale. Einstein's face was turning a violent shade of puce.
In less than a minute it had descended into a chaotic Doctor-filled free-for-all.

Diva ran back into the TARDIS he had ran into before and locked the foors with the manual lock system as well as with his sonic screwdriver. He collapsed against the door frame and walked forward. A rattle echoed through the TARDIS and he was on his guard. A claw crashed through the grating and pulled him through. He shouted loudly as he was pulled through the grating.

Morgan and the others heard the yelp from inside the TARDIS. Einstein, who'd been trying to break in anyway, gave the door a strong shove with his shoulder and it burst inwards.
"He's gone..." he said, looking in.
"He's just snuck out the side again!" said Morgan.
"I.... wouldn't be so sure..."
They stared at the mangled hole in the grating.

A roar echoed though the time travel machine and a sound of machinery being crushed like a can in a vice accompanied it. The hole in the grating was very large, meaning the Doctor's were up against something large and very probably dangerous. Another yell issued from one of the corridor's, probably from Diva.

"I don't suppose that's a Dalek down there?" said David, sounding almost hopeful.
Einstein shook his head. "Not unless it's the size of a rhino with claws that can tear through metal..."
The Professor looked around at his other incarnations. "Any volunteers to rescue him?"
***
"Where are you taking me?" said James - he was being half-dragged along the ventilation system again and his feet were beginning to hurt. How long had they been walking? He couldn't remember. "You know I didn't have to stay! I could have ran off and left you! The least you can do is show me the courtesy of telling me where we're going!"
Farlon stopped. His hard glare faded as he stared at the tired little Timelord. "I'm..." he paused for a minute, "...sorry."
"Well that's at least a little more civil. Now, where are we going?"
"Up to the council rooms. There's... there's something there that I need to get back."
"Shouldn't you be getting to the medical rooms to find a doctor? You're not very well you know!" James had neglected to mention his strange conversation earlier. Farlon didn't seem to remember anything about it - and he didn't want to tell him that he was probably possessed.
"I'm fine. Anyway, it wouldn't do any good... The Daleks will have taken over them by now..."
"The Daleks!" James went pale and then frowned, "Wait... how do you know that they'll have taken over?"
Farlon looked sheepish. "Because... I helped them to."
"You certainly have your finger in a lot of pies don't you?"
"I'm sorry, is that one of your strange Earth sayings?" he sighed and shook his head, "Look, it wasn't supposed to go like this. I thought I could work it all out, get Trayte and the Daleks to destroy each other. Only it's all gone horribly wrong and now I might have doomed all of Gallifrey..." The reality of this seemed to suddenly sink in and he looked weak and shaky.
"Well!" said James, slapping him on the shoulder and giving him a reassuring smile, "We'd better patch things up then! Where to?"
"Up," said Farlon, pointing to a side tunnel that lead to a long maintenance ladder, "Quite a long way I'm afraid..."
James gave a groan and pulled out his hankie, mopping the sweat off his brow. "We'd better get started then..."

Another roar rang through the TARDIS, along with a sound of breaking wood. One of the doors into the control room broke open, shatter of wood flying everywhere. A large, tall scaled creature stamped through, another roar exposing to all three rows of sharp, bloodied teeth. It left little to the imagination of anyone in view.

The Doctors were frozen to the spot, staring up at the huge creature filling the doorway ahead of them. As if to impress them it reached up and ripped a chunk of metal from the ceiling, smashing it to the ground.
The Professor was just beginning to edge away when a voice perked up behind him. "Professor, what are you lot doing in..." Ace froze in the entrance to the TARDIS. Her eyes tracked upwards. "What the..."
"Ace! Get out!"
"Professor! Duck!" Ace whipped out one of the spray cans and lit the make-shift fuse she'd fitted to it. There was a furious hiss as it sparked into life.

The creature saw the fuse and acted badly, at least for the Doctor's. It grabbed part of the console, the time rotor to be exact, with it's teeth and flung it at the party, hoping to maim or kill them for obvious reasons; it was hungry and angry.

Half the Doctor's dived to one side, half the other as the Time Rotor cut a swathe through the group. Ace threw the ignited spray can and ducked, just as the mangled machinery flew over her head, the torn out wires brushing her hair as they past. It crashed into one of the other TARDIS's with a 'bang'.
The spray can was still flying when it exploded just above the creature's shoulder. It let out a piercing half-roar half-scream as metal and flames engulfed it. The whole TARDIS shuddered as a chunk of the roof fell down. The creature staggered backwards, claws across it's face to protect itself. A wall of wreckage collapsed down in front of it, cutting it off. The Doctors and companions stayed flat on the ground until the final piece dropped down and the TARDIS fell silent.
"Is it still alive?" said Donald, looking up.
"Am I still alive?" said Morgan, checking himself for injury. He and his other incarnations got slowly to their feet, looking nervously at the heap of twisted metal that barred their path. Nothing seemed to be stirring beneath it.
"I think we cut it off..." said Grandpa, "Whatever it was. Unfortunately that means we cut Diva off too."
"You... think he's still alive?" asked Donald, looking nervous.
Grandpa gave an angry sigh. "Of course he is my dear boy! Don't be so stupid! I think I'd know if one of us had perished in battle, even if he was from my future."
"Pity about the TARDIS..." said Morgan, looking round at the damage, "It looked the most workable too. It's still got it's internal structure... and enough power to keep it stable."
"Not very stable!" said Ace, picking herself off the floor, "Doctor... Doctors... What was that thing?"
"I have no idea," replied the Professor, taking off his hat, "But I do know that we know have two incarnations missing in action. And that's two too many by my reckoning."

An explosion rocked the TARDIS and the Doctors ducked, another part of the ceiling falling to the floor. Another yell echoed through the TARDIS and a flying object was flung from the doorway that the explosion had issued from. The object fell to the floor, all of it's momentum lost. The Doctors crept forward and turned it over, finding it to be their lastest incarnation, Diva, unconcious and lightly burnt. A collective gasp was raised, suprise reigning through the TARDIS.

"Correction..." said the Professor, "...only one now." He knelt down and felt for a pulse. Relieved to find one, he lifted Diva up slightly, trying to wake him. "Are you ok there? Hello?"

Diva let out a moan and his hands flickered by his sides. He got up slightly with the help of Einstein and the Professor. He swore very loudly, which was met with a whack from Grandpa's cane. He opened his eyes and looked up to the ceiling of the wrecked TARDIS. He said, in a highly pained voice, "Oooof... Where did that radio telescope come from...."
