Johan was actually quite flattered that a number of the other students liked his motto suggestion. He admitted to himself the other option also seemed viable. He spent a few moments translating it into Latin in his head.
Metemus quid Serimus. vs. Videtur quod non Sumus.
It was a bit more catchy that way, but Johan steeled himself. He found that he wanted to be able to know that he'd contributed something to Amityville. Even if it was just a House motto.
"I vote for Ve are not vhat ve seem." he stated when it was his turn. "And I prefer the traditional Reaper vith Scythe."

Azmodel was late, as usual. Damn, she should really start paying more attention to witch day and month is was.
So she decided to give her input at last.
"Well, I quite like "We reap what we sow". As for the mascot.... Traditional reaper and scythe seems good to me."
Plus reaper and motorcycle reminded her too much of Roch. She likes the guy, not the evil device he rides.

Mort spoke up afterwards after clearing his throat. "Alright then! Voting's closed, give us--me a moment . . ." A handful of seconds went by as he tallied up the votes one by one on his sheet, mumbling to himself. When finished, the zomboil circled the final product.
