NW looked up just as the last fastener was done up. Yup that felt so much warmer then before. He looked at the voice that was speaking to him and held his lantern up a bit to get a better view of the pae. "Hi, you came in the caves too huh...find anything interesting?" he questioned her he didn't respond to her question initially. "Oh uhm, sure we could go together, it's alittle eerie in here, company would be great. He motioned the pile of garments "There's some warmer stuff left here too if you are cold."

Her eyebrow lifted at this. "Seriously...? Who'd leave something like a sword behind?" In her 'humble' opinion, if someone cared so little as to leave it, they didn't deserve to have it back. It was this manner of thinking that justified her taking what she had; if they ever wanted it back, too bad, so sad. They should have come before her to retrieve it. "It looked like they might have been making something to eat at the mines. Maybe we'd have a better chance finding food there?" It seemed as nice a theory as any.
Daring winced as the light from another lantern shone up ahead, making it hard for her to see ahead herself, as the lantern got closer the other pae came into focus. "Oh hey!" Daring said with a friendly smile as she noticed it was the pae from before... with the hat. Sunny... "I expected you might be down here. Find anything exciting?" The fauny asked as she held up her torch to the wall to make sure she was going in the right direction to get out. "I was getting ready to head out myself, so sure." she agreed as she continued along the path in the mine.

sorry about the mistake
Summer looked at the clothing and then at NW. "I have never felt cold before even now it is warm for me." she smiled and put her hand out. "My name is Summer nice to meet you. I have not found anything yet. So shall we go?" She agreed it was very eerie in there, but she happy the fauny seemed nice.

Sunny was not surprised that she had seen the torch it did not surprise her at all. "Yeah I was heading out also." she shruged. "I found this pickax I really do not know why I picked it up other than who knows when one will need a pickax. We could use it to open the seal on a super treasure or maybe it is conected it to spirit that could show us a way to a lot of gems." She giggled she knew she was just dreaming nothing was special about the pickax other than it could be used to make sure she was not going in circles. "Also I found a map I think it is of the mines although it really is hard to use it when you do not know were you are." she was fallowing the the Fauny as they headed out. "Anyway what did you find?"

Noteworthy felt better about the idea of going deeper into the place with another pae with him. "Okay" he agreed with a nod holding his lantern higher above his head. "Uhm lets try that way" he points to their left and starts to head in that direction hoping female followed suit

Personally, Zyzair decided that the best place for him to go would be the caves, so he followed the buff Solamir, glad that he didn't make any effort to congratulate them for following. They didn't need to be congratulated for doing such a thing--nor did he want to be, really. Zyzair was simply curious as to what was contained within such a dark location.
Since he still had his own lantern, he lit it, venturing into the cave. It was oddly chilly in here, it seemed--Zyzair would have expected it to be a bit warmer as they got further in, but there was also no sun here, so he supposed it made sense how chill it was.
Zyzair was, overall, not very bothered by it.
He lifted his lamp and wound it around the site, looking for anything that caught his attention.
Were those...
Ores?
Ore excited Zyzair, as he was made out of many metals himself, especially his heart that tick-tick-ticked in his chest. Excited by the sight, Zyzair set down his lantern briefly to go pick up the ore that he saw gathered, picking up as much of it as possible and sticking it within his bag. These would certainly have use for later. Perhaps he could use some of it to patch up the damage in his mechanical parts? He could use others to make useful gadgets, Zyzair was certain...
His brain was already buzzing with the possibilities, and Zyzair was suddenly thrilled he had decided to come on this trip. If he had not, Zyzair would not have found the useful ores.
He also picked up some stones, though they were not for the runes.

Ruze grinned when she saw Noir at the fire. She thought she should probably go thank him for setting her tent up and carrying her sorry butt into it, but standing up was still not a very good idea. "Right. Looks like gratitude will have to wait for morning," she murmured to herself and laid back down, falling asleep again instantly.
Early morning sunshine shone through the door she'd left open in the night and she groaned as she sat up. Her head was pounding, but at least getting vertical didn't make the tent spin this time. She peeked out of the tent and winced at the sunlight, but shielded her eyes to see if Noir was up and about already. She didn't see him, so she got out and stretched before tapping on his tent flap. "Noir? Are you still in there?" She blinked when the Solamir were waking up and starting to lead pae to the next campsite. She hurried and broke down her tent, helping Noir with breaking his as well.
The trip up to the next site wasn't that bad, and Noir was a good travel companion, she thought. Once they were up there, Ruze was about to help Noir set up the tents when the leader Solamir fairy said they were going to be taking some into the mines. "Ooh, that sounds exciting!" she said, her hand idly petting Tizzy who lay curled around her neck. "We should totally go down into the mines with them," she said and grabbed Noir, pulling him along with her into the mines. She held her lantern up, only half listening to what the fairies were saying. "Oh hey, look! I wonder what's in here," she said and grabbed a small chest.

Sweetie Belle giggled a little when Wild Moon revealed that things hadn't happened quite the way Nightwing had told. She felt Nightwing had still be very brave, though.
The next day, as they made for the new campsite, Sweetie Belle yawned and could feel her tummy rumbling. She'd completely missed that there had been a breakfast available before they'd left. Once at the new campsite, she wondered what Wild Moon and the other teen whose name evaded her at the moment, wanted to do. She knew she wanted some food first, and wondered if there was anything left from breakfast...
Noir listened to the stories being told at the fire for a while before heading to bed, they would probably be getting an early start and he didn't want to be sleepy when they got up.
"Ye yeah I'm still here" He said softly exciting is tent, he was glad that she helped him take down his ten and somewhat relived that she didn't bring up last night, it was awkward to think about her just passing out like that.
Noir followed Ruzeh and the group up the mountain, it wasn't to hard and he found that she was a pleasant companion. He didn't get a chance to protest as she grabbed him and dragged him into the mine, well he had a chance it was just that he couldn't seem to figure out how to articulate words. Looking around he manged to find a few rubies and some runestones with odd markings on them, he looked at them curiously. "I wonder what these are." He muttered softly to himself. Hearing Ruzeh he turned back around to see her holding a chest. "I du dunno, it looks interesting though." He said looking at the chest she held.

The flute seems colder than it should when Fraise picks it up, and if she dares to play it, the sound is more haunting still. If she decides to play the flute, images will appear in her mind, though it is hard to make heads or tails of them. Though she cannot figure out what the images are saying, it is hard to mistake the deep feeling of sadness that comes with the flute's music.

Sunny Jones has picked up a map. While she might not be able to understand the language on it, and it is a bit crude, an experienced map reader like her or Daring Do would be able to tell that this seems to be the map of some kind of cave or ... even mine system. This could be of some use!
Menelie
Her guess of it being a book of magic was probably as good as any. Since Calendula couldn't read the tome, it was impossible to tell what the tome was exactly about. Still, the runes seemed magical enough, right? Perhaps someone else might know what that all meant...

There was admittedly a fairly impressive amount of Pae'il who had decided to venture into the cave with the leader of the Solamir, but he did not say anything to compliment or praise that. Frankly, this is what the Pae'il should have known to do, rather than wimp away outside like so many of them seemed more likely to do.
Perhaps there was a moment, though, where he had been proven wrong. Briefly. It was possible the Pae'il just thought a bit better about disappointing the Solamir, their hosts. Better not to be a laughing stock...
It seemed that on their spelunking trip, the Pae'il had found quite a few items. Not many of them caught his eye--though he had to admire the amount of rubies that the Pae'il had seemed to recover, perhaps he would have to note that this particular area of the Lower Mines seemed to be home to a lot of rubies--there was not much of interest to the Solamir, at least, that the Pae'il had managed to pull out.
The flute most definitely caught his eye, and his eyes widened at the sight of it. Almost a bit spooked by the odd instrument, he chose not to take it from the Pae'il that picked it up, instead offering a gruff, "Good find," a wide Solamir grin soon appearing on his bearded face.
He had a similar reaction to the ancient tome, though he did not seem to be quite as alarmed by its appearance. That, too, was gruffly admitted to be a good find, though the Solamir said no further on the topic. That might be acknowledging some of these Pae'il actually weren't wimps.
Sunny Jones' map, perhaps, was what got his attention the most. The Solamir almost snatched it from Sunny Jones when he saw it, but he had said that the Pae'il were free to keep whatever they found. The sense of honor the Solamir possessed stopped him from outright taking the item from her, though he almost did.
When everyone had finally gotten back to him, though a few hours it may have taken, the Solamir leader gestured over his shoulder and led them all back to the surface. The Lower Mines camp was there waiting for them, and they were free to wait there until everyone else had returned. Most of the food that had been prepared had already been eaten or stored away by the Pae'il that had chosen to stay at camp to take in the nice views, though...

Though it would be difficult to find someone that could confirm this, the item Sparrow picked up is ... not really of an avian bird that anyone would recognize. Perhaps it's from a harpy? ... Somehow, that doesn't seem quite right ...

When Crystal picks up the sword, she would notice that the runes on it almost seemed to ... pulsate. It only lasted for a few moments, before it stopped, resting in her hands like any other normal sword would have done. If she holds the sword for too long, she hears murmurs in her mind, mostly about fighting and winning against the heathens, and the sword seems to resonate whenever these sayings echo through her head.
Perhaps this sword has some importance. Maybe the Holy Knights would be interested?

Yipes has picked up a Solamir medal! If he didn't get one yesterday, he can get one today?
The few that had gone back to last night's camp would find that it was relatively peaceful here--if it wasn't for them all interrupting each other, perhaps a nap would have been possible.
That was, if it wasn't for the increasingly loud noises coming from the west.
No one had caught them at first, but the noises had only grown progressively louder, and eventually, they were impossible to miss. If they looked carefully, in the distance, they would see something very large and very bright, though it seemed to blot out the sun in the sky with how huge it was in comparison to them. It did not look like a particularly friendly creature, either, if they still thought it was despite the roaring. Perhaps it would be best to get moving?
Still, if they did not move on their own, there was someone coming around that would soon stop their procrastination.
The Solamir that was coming up the mountain seemed rather ... agitated by the presence of the Pae'il. "And here I thought I wouldn't have to--" might have been heard by those with particularly sharp ears, but then he projected his voice with a louder, "Hello! I recommend you guys please get a move on. That yeti will not be friendly considering you look just the size of a fantastic afternoon snack!"
He snorted.
"Take whatever you got and git outta' here."
He shooed them back in the direction of the new camp, refusing to leave until they did.
--------------------------------
When the other two groups arrived at the lower mines camp, it wasn't long before the camp was packed up and they were hiking further up the mountain once again. The mountain was gradually getting steeper, but it seemed that there were paths well-worn here, and it was not particularly hard to get themselves up to the next location where the Solamir had decided to lay their camp for the rest of the night.
When the camp was set, it was not as celebratory as it was the night before, a much more solemn situation in comparison. It seemed like the party was certainly over, and all there was now was ... well, rest.
Even the Solamir needed rest, apparently.
That was not to say, though, that there were not any card games, or spirits, or foods passed around. In fact, it was quite the opposite. It seemed that rest included drinking some spirits and eating some food, though it was not nearly in the quantity that it was the night before. Unless the Pae'il were inclined to skip a meal, they would not find that there was any extra food they could pack away--it seemed that earlier was, perhaps, the last of the larger quantities of food.
Still, it was good food.
And there was certainly conversation and stories as there had been the night before. In fact, if the Pae'il got close enough, they were eagerly accepted into the stories that the Solamir were spinning--though if they moved away, and the Solamir were left alone, Pae'il with particularly good hearing might notice the shift in conversation...
"These Pae'il are so wimpy!"
"Be careful, Dulair! There are a few that have shown great strength or courage in battle or in behavior."
"Yes, but some of the others..." There was laughter from the group, knowing that they all agreed on those "others" that the one called Dulair was referring to.
"Here here!" One of them called, with a wave, before moving his voice down a few more levels, eyes darting over the Pae'il as he talked. "There is that one hooved one that I swear had been knocked on his head a few times as a lad. Silveta, I am so terribly sorry about the rapid squirrel he decided to fork over. What an unworthy prize!"
More laughter.
Silveta shook her head, a hearty chuckle coming from deep in her belly. "Aye, he is certainly a little bit insane!" She leaned in a bit, eyes sparkling. "But there are many who similarly just do not understand how to survive on the mountains. I wonder how they would manage if they were in our shoes..."
Another snorted.
"They wouldn't!"
With a loud, universal laugh, they moved onto another topic, though murmurings about those around them kept edging in ... unless those around them came closer, anyway.
--------------------------------
(( Feel free to react to this post! Everyone is back together now.
Note, if any Pae goes near the Solamir, what they are murmuring to each other will not be said! The Solamir will only talk about their guests if their guests are not nearby. ))

Summer Agreed as she fallowed after him watching as they walked looking around as they walked she soon notices some ores that sparkle as the light. "Hay you should look at these." she said as she picked up one of the sparkling stones As she got a better look at the stone she noticed that the stone actually was black in color it looked really pretty to her. "I am going to take a few of these they are pretty."
What may have been the wind was growing louder, more menacing, less wind-like. Her eyes followed Crystal's, barely being allowed a glace at the creature before another angry noise interrupted her thoughts, this one much closer in proximity. Looking to the solimir, she rolled her eyes before speaking under her breath, "We were literally just heading back. No need to rile yourself up..," before looking to Crystal, sighing, "That's what we were doing anyways..."
She continued past her friend as she stopped before turning around, tilting her head slightly. "Hey, you alright? Might be a good idea if we kept walking if we wanna get to camp before they eat everything."
Erylia listened to the exchange of the fairies with half an ear, more interested in getting her second meal. This one proved much more appetizing since she was actually awake enough to enjoy it. Rabid squirrel? She took a swig of a bottle of spirits to take the edge off.
Dameon had stayed back with the rest of the group, far too tired to run around in the caves after their walk. One thing was for sure though, this was great at rebuilding his muscles. Every day was like a hard workout for the demonic. He lounged about with Starry, happy to spend the time with her and making the odd corny joke. Rabid squirrel? He grinned all the more. "They should've seen the squirrel I fought. Well, me and Raken. I'm sure you remember that Star."
