The painful freeze came next. Nush picked up a piece of debris and threw it at the fan. His aim turned out to be true, and the contraption jammed, allowing warmth to return. Lightly, he rubbed his arms as he made his way.

Before beginning to climb the giant metal thing, he looked up, trying to work out a path mentally. The last time he was here, he just stumbled his way through due to the pain he was in. His mind was more clear now.
Unfortunately, he just took one step and something blew up.
"Kusoo...." he hissed in pain. The word just came to him, though he wasn't really sure where that had come from. It just seemed right.

Nush took a few steps up and a steam vent blasted out into him, scalding his form. Okay. He was going to need to be more careful here.

Though he tried to be more careful, he ended up stumbling into the hot metal. Another hiss escaped him and he quickly scrambled back up to his feet. It was hot here. He wanted to get to the top, then be on his way.

Nush began to watch the area ahead of him carefully as he tried to make his way up. There was no way he could anticipate another blast of steam coming from behind, however.

Reap knew how dangerous the forge was, he'd found out first hand before. As he made his way through the testing room once more, it was with exaggerated caution, every step careful and neat, every movement planned as best he could.
Okay, time to do this. She could so do this okay. She ducked and dived and dipped and dodged some more, and only one of the flaming weapons managed to singe her. All in all, not too shabby~
Then came her favorite part. Rock in hand, she squinted at the fan, shivered a little, and tossed it as hard as she could. The resounding clang hurt her ears, but the fan was stopped.
She was as ready as she'd ever could get. Time for . . .
It was horribly hot still, and she felt her grip slipping at several points. But Rostym was determined not to fall prey to the obstacles this time and either maneuvered around or otherwise steeled herself against the protrusions as she passed over. Whatever this was, it was awfully hazardous for no good reason . . .
Either way, she had made it! Hah!
The three glowing orbs were familiar, and she snatched one without thinking. Hers.
In the Ruins, his patience had been tested. Here, he knew it would be his fortitude. But he would overcome the trials, and be blessed. He was ready for that flaming shockwave this time, though, and he dodged as he ran through the room. He was hit a few times, but he would be doing better.
Next would be the wind...
